The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this

Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one

Oh my god its been years since I've watched utopia and now I'm all excited to dive into the twisted wacky world of 90's conspiracies that now seem quick mundane as they are basically happening now
Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

true this, look up good cops on google and you won't find shit. its insane if you simply look at the numbers. millions of cops in the world and a decent percentage of good people in the ranks, maybe higher than other professions if anything. how many stories interesting, funny and positive must exist but none of that is click worthy. conflict, violence, controversy that's all we want to fill our heads with.
in general cops are funnier and more thoughtful than the average person. what fucks them up is the system.
people only think of corruption with thai cops but for many other reasons the thai police force continues to recruit great people, they are wise and very respectful and loving of the society they serve.

I've been told its very dependent on the way each vendor does their shipping but I'm trying to encourage the brains behind the idea to create a vendor logistics page to make it available to others and they also had anther idea of a cool feature we might be able to add but they need to explain it to me again though so hopefully this is only the beginning :)

I think its a brilliant idea tbf, even though its only worked 1 out of 3 times so far 😬 which a sinple DM to the vendor sorted with my postcode. Teething problems are to be expected i hope others do it.
Because some customers are very privacy sensitive and don't want anything related to their shipping info stored in messages as it takes longer to delete so it gives people the option instead of forcing everyone and when we get 100+ tracking requests some days it can take us longer and longer to reply so this will be much quicker :)

Great question in the event multiple postcodes or names are found it will cross reference against the the latter, so if two customers have the same postcode the bot will request they provide their name and in the event of multiple errors it won't provide any information and advise the customer to message us directly :)

I've made some mistakes in past grows, and I still wouldn't consider myself an absolute pro, but I've fixed any issues I've had with these gorilla cookies before they've really became issues (growing in coco is some learning curve!). They're starting to smell delicious and the one at the back right, which was the runt of the litter in veg, has that true forum cut GSC smell to it and is due to finish first. I can't really give a time estimate as to when a listing will go up, but what I can say is that good things are in the pipeline!

100% mate will definitely touch base when the time comes. Have some work and £ to do, getting my environment right before any moves. Been focusing mainly on run-off tests, EC and PH management tbh as they are new to me having only ever tried soil. I like the idea of full control of the root system and what goes in vs what comes out, and seen very good reviews and journals once you get the right light intensity
Sounds good! Yeah, it's great to be able to control it like hydro but with less risk of flooding the place 🤣 like you say it's just about getting that environment and light intensity dialled in
One of the best things about coco imo is that the plants give you REALLY quick feedback compared to soil... literally within hours of feeding they can start telling you if something's gone a bit wrong. EC, PPM and pH are obviously really important, but coco makes it far easier to learn to "read" the plants

For me. The fabric pots are too flexible and root damage is highly possible in the many feedings/movings.

Its hard to imagine better budget weed than Green Cat pump out on repeat.
Delivery is usually fast and generally I'm looking at the buds in my grinder two days after ordering. Stealth is spot on and the buds arrive in perfect condition.
The three strains I've just picked up are great examples of the bang you get for your buck at GC.
Let's start with the Purple Mazar
This is a bargain $55 QTR / $105 Half oz

Mazar is half of one of my favourite strains - Skywalker - so we're halfway there before starting.
Firstly it must be noted that this is the prettiest weed I've had in a long time. It's actually purple. In the grinder you get a beautiful mixture of the outer purple and inner green leaving a grind of highlighted purple hues with an old school smell. The pre-smoke appeal alone makes me glad to have bought it and it's the reason I decided to start writing.
To smoke it's like a musty kush. I meant that in a more positive way than it sounds. It's got the Mazar twang. An odd high note that laces the overall Afghanish taste much like it does to the main blueberry flavour in my favoured Skywalker. It's like a tinge of stale red wine. Is this making it sound better or worse? I like it, I'm just struggling to describe it.
The stone is pretty chilled. It's a lovely essy smoke and definitely amongst the best value bits I've had on LB.
Mcflurry is next.
This is $60 QTR / $115 Half oz

This is an absolutely delicious smoke. Much like the Mcflurry it's a sweetshop flavour but so much more so. This has thick sweetly gassy clouds of smoke and a full flavour exhale. It tastes devine this stuff.
It's heritage includes zkittles and sour diesel which is evident in the mixed flavour profile as it's sweetly sour and gassy all at once.
The stone is both an early chilled buzz with a follow up sedative hit that keeps rolling for a while.
So this is easily the best smoke of the three. The extra five bucks again buys you an upgrade.
The Zowah is a really lovely smoke and a perfect mix of flavours (although no orange).
So what does all this prove?
You pay more, you get better weed. To be honest I didn't expect it to work out like this. I wanted to show the opposite of this. The Skywalker is (apart from one batch) a lovely example and just how it's meant to be. The silver bubble is fantastic value as you get a lot of old school flavour at a bargain price. So you've picked possibly two of the best strains at those prices to compare to. I liked the cookie dawg I had too.
The Mcflurry certainly stacks up. I was probably a wee bit unkind as it's such a typical flavour now but it's a nice smoke. The purple has more of an old style taste that I'm still struggling to describe. It's not muted but it's not as full on. If you buy some see if you can better describe the taste. It's really distinct and recognisable from Skywalker.

this is probably my fav to date and ive tried most, my fav before was your premium and ive bought it many times.

These look and sound awesome, my boyfriend is a shroom user and I wanted to get him a set up for his birthday. This would be an awesome idea for him. I don't know anything about mushrooms. Do they give off an aroma whilst growing?
Not in any big way. They smell earthy but you’d have to really be looking for the smell.
They are perfect for a cupboard/wardrobe.
With these you can pretty much leave them to do their thing. No fiddling needed.

More flower is hopefully on the way we estimate if everything goes to plan it should be the 1st week in March and the next batch should be a tad bit cheaper, we did have some lower grade stuff shipped in January but it arrived empty thanks to customs so hopefully the second time is successful, from memory it is some Pineapple Express but unfortunately with the flower it is a wait and see/hope it arrives situation :)

I'd love to see a few more Shatter options from you guys. Would be nice to have more Sativa/Haze options on the extract side too.
Having said that, you guys by far already have the best selection of extracts on LB, we almost being spoiled buy choice with Canadian Imports selection hah.

Can anyone remember this gem of a film from 1999. I found it in my attic and it is still a masterpiece after all these years. Anyone who is nostalgic about the nineties, get it watched now! I swear, you will not be disappointed.
Great film, special for me cos i lived with director for 4 years and he wrote it during that period. So its my early 20s on film pretty much. Nice one bruvva is an evolution of how we used to scream down the phone at each other, (and still do) with names instead of bruvva.
It is superb and just represents his zest for life and fun and sillyness and funny situations. Under table snorting scene just one example of the talent in the cinematography.
If you liked this, i would urge anyone to check out his largely unknown second film "i know you know". A different affair about him and his dad and mum, but stunning in different ways. Also his older college stuff, party politics, life in the bus lane. On YT somewhere i think.
The sequel to HT is confirmed btw in case you didn't know.

Wow, that is amazing. He captured a perfect picture of life and it is totally relatable. The whole film was so well done and the cast was just spot on. You will have to tell him how amazing he is. I was 19/20 when it came out and that was a typical weekend. It just gives you the warm and fuzzies. I would be totally buzzin’ if there was a sequel. I will have to do some digging and see if I can find his other stuff. Thank you.

Hi mate think you should be fine choosing "sending to myself", think it's the self custody wallet option. Make sure you're sending to an alternative wallet before direct to vendor.

Search the sativas on leafly app, pick a few you like the sound of then copy the search to lb.. see who's got what or similar... but green cat always has some good clean sativa leaning strains as does the green team.
Power plant Is one of the ultimate sativas @100% but very rare these days. Another decent one is : Durban Poisen which sometimes pops up on lb. White widow is sativa dominant and another is Jet fuel. 👍

Green cat is top notch and has great selection. Sativa/indica is a bit of a misconception, was caused by two different people seeing the plants in different environments a long time ago and calling them two different things. If your looking for something to rattle your brain just go for highest THC (I ask chatgpt to help me choose between strains). Correct me if im wrong but ive always believed that the difference between indica and sativa effects was down to the terpenes ,not THC strength,For example limonene will have an uplifting effect and be energising ,as will pinene, that also increases alertness,where as myrcene will have a sedative effect and will cause couchlock as will linalool.If your looking for a "Wide awake" weed then shop around for strains containing pinene , limonene and other energy enhancing terpenes Hazes for example will give you that "pick me up effect" fantastic for daytime use,I hope this helps ,enjoy the sunshine X
Correct that it's the chemo type responsible for the effects along with the users disposition. What I / the data says is that's there's no clear chemo type for indica and sativa and that there's a lot of variation, and that any differences have been lost to interbreeding also.
I'll also add that it's predominantly down to THC and that CBD levels could potentially modulate the response. More research required, and on other cannabinoids. To put it simply if you took the THC out of you indica or sativa there would be essentially no effect beyond placebo in terms of psychoactivty.

These would include sterilised substrate in a grow bag and fully inoculated grain.
Basically mix the grain with the sub, follow the simple yet comprehensive instructions and you’ve got your own mushrooms in a couple of weeks.
If interest is high I’ll start initial production run this week.

2024 didn't get the memo about summer this year 🤣 I'm trying to think of a warm dark space in my tiny studio flat to grow them.
Although I'm not in the position to grown my own at the mo, but a few years back, I was rather good at growing lambs bread, and tried my hand at shooms, sourcing the spores and making my own substrate.
I followed everything to the T and it was a disaster!
An idiot proof kit back then would have had me buying on the spot, so, yes, knock some kits up and I reckon you'll do rather well!

It's been getting a bit out if hand recently. Vendors are saying increase cost of buying bulk means increased cost for the buyer but this doesn't make sense for the smaller vendors as they could be making a killing if they kept costs low or at least fair. $65 for a henry and $120+ for a Q is just bananas in my opinion. I recently started looking around elsewhere and have been able to find much better weed (well a better selection) for far better prices. I love LB because of it's ease of use and helpful vendors but the price is becoming a bit of a joke.
I pop back to check up on prices and stock regularly but I probably won't be returning and making purchases until things go back to normal. Hopefully things return to normal soon :'(

Whether it's rigged or not, the items list bears no resemblance to what's actually available on here, nor the prices some reasonable vendors are selling for.
I can't see the items list changing as it benefits the owners of the site to keep the bigger, higher volume and higher priced vendors up there for longer, but the topics area can be somewhere where members and vendors wanting to advertise have a bit more control.
Hopefully that won't change. Knowledge is king. ;)

Great tip BB! I usually have a nose off the Topics section before I ever go near the items list. As I'm in ROI my choices are somewhat limited but I have only had great experiences with the vendors I have used (and there are a few lol).

In ROI also bro and wondering who is best vendor you ordered of LB that always has Lovely smoke in your opinion ? I love my haze to be honest so would like a vendor with proper grown haze . Only made one order of this site so Far and the smoke I received was not nice with no high at all so not sure who to order of next.
My go to is usually TGT bud, usually have a good selection and their stealth is top of the heap in my opinion. Hootan is another vendor I use regularly. A little more expensive but always quick to reply and post your order. I think Ammunation has some nice Amnesia (that is his specialty I believe). He is a nice guy who responds promptly too. You can find him higher up on the comments in this post. RB seems a little shakey at the minute and hasn't got a lot of stock up but he is usually on the ball too, just a bit slow with comms. Hope this helps bud!
Yeh I hope it goes down soon especially the hash. For me my limit is around £35 an 8th or £40 if its a strain I really want to try. Its £25 an 8th on the street where I am but I don't mind paying abit more to choose from a menu and have it delivered.

I ordered an eighth from yourmumshouse cost about £37, one from ammunation for £43 and a Q from LUD for less than £70. Including all btc buying/transaction and delivery costs.
Not too crazy prices. I think the Q's and halfs definitely need to come down across LB though. Personally I avoid anything that sells itself as "cali" - I like stronger, danker stuff anyway, the internet has people confused about what cali is all about.

Nail on the head Z. YMH and LUD have been keeping things down, as has TGD. Like yourself, I enjoy the danker genetics of weed and I also avoid "cali" as I think it's complete bullshit and definitely not worth $120 for 3.5g of a nicely trimmed bud lol. Again, no shade on anybody charging extra, if you can get away with it then why not but at some stage the penny has to drop. I've seen ALOT of vendors stock not selling as quickly due to the price and price being an issue seems to be echoing throughout LB.

firstly, nice tits... I used to be like that but what ive come to acknowledge is that the higher the stone the less you need, so 3.5 is basically a Q if you buy right. even at the ridiculous it can still be worth it. shit weed at 30-40$, you smoke alot and still dont get that high. I smoke 1/2 spliff of a 90$ eighth and im gone for hours, thats when i know its good. and when i also know its good, an 1/8 lasts 4 days and after the second day i stop smoking for a while... my tolerance is fairly high. ill go through an 1/8 of cheap weed in 1 night. it will give me a headache the next day and ill usually want more just out of disappointment. dont get me wrong it would be great being somewhere legal and getting cheaper but meh. current best deal for me is 70$ tenco runtz on gentleman dealers, next best is the 90$ jungle boyz you see places like radar and hash collective.

It’s the coronavirus excuse, most but not all have added ten to fifteen dollars an eighth. If you shop around there are some OK deals. I just hope they stick to their word and lower them again when the world has stopped being scared. The Encrochat encrypted. Mobile service is another excuse being used too. Some are even charging £15 for next day delivery. I have never bought from these people but have tried some of their stuff that friends have bought and it’s certainly not premium AAA like is claimed. There was 125 dollar eights last week but it was allegedly flown here, not grown here. If you are looking for good weed and customer service is important to you, The gentleman dealers are first class with reasonable prices and excellent weed. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
If this thread has taught me anything, it's that the wall most certainly isn't where all the weed is. And great to see so many of the vendors names popping up here, hopefully see an uptick in their business all this chat. I'll certainly be getting my next few buys from this thread.
Just have to know the right vendors and bookmark them, send a message just to keep a record of them. The inflation on the wall hasn’t spilled over to all vendors, some have kept a quite steady price. Keep looking around as others have said keep checking topics etc and you’ll stumble on some good vendors here

I can't believe I tried a diff vendor for flower. Not making that mistake again, I was in doubts between your zlushie and other vendor Lunar Fuel, went for the latter. No voy a caer dos veces en la misma piedra, stick with don loco for green. Uncle snoop was divine, cant wait to try more of your strains!

The next grow has officially began! I figured I'd go for a more oldschool and well renowned strain, and the northern light autos from RQS seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It's only a 4x4 tent so the yield won't be huge (and will take a lil while!), but I'll do everything in my power to make sure the flower is perfect. A lot of lessons have been learned, a lot of time has been spent researching and a lot of time will go into caring for these 3 babies. They're under a 640w full spectrum LED light, in coco coir and will be fed with advanced nutrients until the flush! After this crop, the plan is to get a bigger tent so that I can list multiple strains with even better quality at even lower prices, and on a much more consistent basis! For now though, let's bloody grow! I wish all biggas a good day, week and month, and if any experienced growers have any little tips/tricks to improve, I'd love to hear them! 🙂
Happy growing mate. I love using these foam ties, they are cheap and make 'low stress training' really easy. I usually trim the foam to pin the stems down with them early on and then use them as spreader bars between stems later in the grow to keep airflow between buds.

Yeah its great stuff, you can buy it on a roll too, if you spiral it round a stem you can pretty much free form them

Thanks for the tip! The pots are only about 3 gallons but I've grown some monsters in 3 gals before! The grow before last (grapefruit autos) were out of control by mid flower

I just want to drop my 2p here as I have grown this exact auto strain from RQS. If you take my advise you should swap this out to a better strain before you put too much effort into it, just to be let down by the results at end like I was.
Autos have much less potential for yield and I ran several auto strains when I started out growing none of which tasted up to today's standards.
I would advise against growing from seed as a beginner because they are a hit and miss. If you heard the term pheno hunting before it refers to growing a number of plants of the same strain from seeds and taking cuttings labelling them and at the end of the grow they choose the best pheno to keep and clone for consistent good quality.
If you insist on keeping the autos I would suggest you start low stress training as soon as you can because time is limited with them.
Once it starts to get bigger strip down all the lower sites so the plant will put all her energy into the tops, this way I got nice looking results but I was always dissapointed with how they smoke. Once I got hold of some fire cuttings my whole game changed for the best :)
Either ways best of luck and feel free to reach out if need any help with growing.

Thanks for the advice and the kind words man! They seem to be doing pretty well so far so I'm gonna keep them going, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate some more oldschool genetics and if the bud isn't up to par it'll be priced accordingly. The plants aren't quite in flower yet but they're really healthy and seem to be adapting well to the environment so I'm just interested to see where they can go. Next run will probably involve a pheno hunt so I'm a lot more excited for that!
If you're into old school genetics , check out The Real Seed Company . They do all sorts of land race from around the world and a few Western classics too . Iv'e grown a couple .The best so far was the Afghan90. The flowers were lighter and leafier than modern varieties , but the skunkyness really lingered in an old school kinda way .
There's no question they will adopt and flower with nice looking buds like all autoflowers. Try to run a non auto of the same strain and see the difference in flavour and effects.
Autos are like a watered down versions of the original strains having the ruderails genetics added to them to make their life cycle fixed.
You will be shocked how much more you can get out of "normal" plants with your setup. :)

Yeah, I get you there, but in all fairness I've had better results from autos than photos so far. It could just be that I've only been growing a year though. The mangos from the last crop were photos and I think down to my own mistake they started flowering too early and didn't get very tall. The bud is pretty nice but honestly not the best I've grown. The best I've done so far has been an auto (choc orange by dr krippling) and honestly it was up there with the best I've had in my life! But the next run will definitely be photos just so I can pheno hunt and get some consistency going. Growing from seed in general has been a bit hit and miss so far
It is for sure a bit of a hit and miss and also some seedbanks are better than others. I wasn't much impressed with RQS but had few from the US with exeptional results.
With regulars you get more control and can veg one plant to fill up your space before flipping to flower. Cleaning the lower sites that get small to no light will give you better tops in both cases tho.

This is them at 22 days from sprout and they seem to be loving life! No signs of any flowering or any major stretch yet so that's a positive sign! It means they can get a lil bit more height before the actual stretch and hopefully fill the canopy up
All looking healthy there mate, are you just letting them go straight up or have you got any other plans for them?
I'm just gonna let them go straight up, tuck some leaves so the branches/nodes can get good light and separate the bud sites with a trellis net before any buds actually grow. Also gonna cut the really low down branches that'd grow crappy buds. The plan was to do some LST and use the trellis net early on but I figured I'll let them do their thing and get some height before I mess with them too much 😅
At that size I would be tempted to nip out the tips and aim for a more even canopy.
If you do decide to top autos then never cut them just gently part the top and knock the tip out with your fingers, if you do it right the plant won't notice anything has happened and they will bush out big time, losing the main kola gives you the benefit of being able to get the light closer to the canopy.

I've heard similar rumours about some oldschool strains, I don't think NL specifically but there's a lot of strains that people say do really well in the UK climate... I grew a solo strawbnana plant outdoors in 2022 and was genuinely shocked at how well it did
I really appreciate the advice but autos just seem to get out of control for me! I think it may be something to do with being in coco and also maybe because I keep feeding veg nutes during early stretch (until bud sites are really forming), OR possibly because I've been lucky with genetics, but I tried running 5 autos in there before and sadly had to kill 2 of them due to sheer size. This pic is the canopy with 3 grapefruit autos in it (grow before last) and that wasn't even the buds at full size!

I thought I'd share a fascinating discovery I stumbled upon about cannabis strains from around the world and how modern cultivation has turned a handful of original strains into the crazy variety we have today.

I salute the post. I grew up on landrace (or commercial or mersh as used to call it in London).
My main ones were Thai, Durban and Jamaican sensi or high grade.
However, the photos are misleading. All indoor grown hybrids IMO. Landrace always come compressed in some sort of block or not in individual trimmed flower lol.

Can't remember where I downloaded this. I've got it logged in my head as 1977 high times winning strains but I'm happy to be corrected if someone knows.
The one original strain I'm most keen to try (a modern grow of) is the Durban Poison.
It's amazing the varieties we've ended up from these. I suppose though Beethoven and Jules Holland both worked with the same few notes and yet created wildly different music from each other.

This is the strongest hash i’ve had in many years. It kept me high all the way through the day and when i had my bedtime spliff it got me just as high as the breakfast spliff. Usually at this point ‘bedtime’ i’m blazing from habit and not really noticing the effects but this hash got me so flipping high i had the sweats. I use concentrates at night when the hash won’t ’get me there’ but this’ll do it nicely. This is the real deal, i can’t imagine you'd buy it and not give 10/10. You know lovely light daytime smokes…this ain’t it, this is full on about as high as you can get with cannabis, this landed yesterday and i’m getting more today because i don’t wanna find out it’s run out as i think there will be a lot of repeat orders. I for one. Love a british sitcom. From Dads Army, Steptoe and Son, to Porridge, Open All Hours, Fawlty Towers to Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder, Men Behaving Badly and of course so many more. I dont receive UC but i know many people who do; both in work and unemployed. The DWP are not in charge of what you spend your money on. They wont question your expenditure or question individual items on your bank statement; unless of course you have money going into your account on a regular monthly basis.

This strain is absolutely off the charts in terms of power and structure. If you have experience with LED grown strains you would know how good this is for the consumer in terms of effects..it brings out the best of the grow in all its features.

Low down and dirty on slim shady EP is one of my all time favourites. Really liked Relapse but nothing else had really grabbed me in last 15 years I’d say. Personal opinion!

A fella asked earlier for tasty hash recommendations and I suggested this. Then it got me thinking about writing about why. So here we are.
The PK Gold Seal, which I've routinely been calling Afghan Gold Seal for some reason, has been one of my favourite hashes on LB. I've bought this about 4 times now which makes it all the more remarkable I didn't remember the name correctly. I've not been able to resist a little side order of this nostalgic but hard to name hash with my regular main weed order from GC.
Solid Body Stone:
While it's a better grade of hash than many of the commercial hashes available, it's not LA Barz. It's not the Piatella. You've not found a secret cheap rocket fuel hash. It does however have a solid stone that slowly wraps itself around you like a comfort blanket and a beautiful exotic flavour of the past.
In terms of power and effect, while it's nicer than many basic commercials, you wouldn't have to go that far to find something that benchmarks much better.
Why Do I Love It?
So what's the deal here? Why am I loving this apparently average hash? Why has this been one of my most popular products? What am I getting from this?
I don't exactly know all the answers. I do know that it's the exact hash that I'd been searching for though because since I first tried it I've ordered it on repeat. I've been through a lot of cheap commercial grade hashes to get to this point. So let's explore together. I'm going to roll one up to start figuring things out as we go.
Cannabis Stress Putty:
It's very satisfying to roll up with. As it's squidgy it's quite therapeutic to tease into a snake. Like a cannabis stress putty. This leaves your fingers smelling of spice and herbs as though you were a chef or you worked in a medicinal herb garden. It's not super sticky so you don't end up with fingers like Spiderman like with some fancy hash.
It takes me back to some of the first hashes I bought. We usually got red seal and it usually wasn't really that good. The quality here is a long way from how it was back then but it definitely pulls at the nostalgia strings and makes me think back to simpler times (digital watches etc).
Ready For Action:
The pre-smoke rolling phase is important. Well, not important like world peace, but core to the overall ritual of smoking. And with this gold seal I feel well prepped and smelling like a spice farmer who's finished a tough day, erm, farming spices and is going to sit and have a cuppa. This is a strong pre-roll phase. I'm excited before I even light up. No I don't know much about either farming or spices. I got out of my depth very quickly there I'll give you that.
I'm rolling the gold seal up with some Cherry weed and a small bit of tobacco. The cherry adds a fair bit of the power but I find hash is a bit crap rolled in joints on its own. This is a lovely combo with the added contentment of rolling the hash snake so it'll be nicely nestled in weed and tobacco and take a nice central position like a hotdog in a roll.
Back to the Future:
This smokes like a dream. The hash boils into clouds of distinctive tasting smoke that you only seem to get from a handful of traditional old hashes. This vastly overpowers the cherry weed flavour. You don't tend to get a red glowing fire snake poking out the front as the hash all burns away cleanly into smoke. It really is lovely stuff. The unique taste is medicinal, like a Victorian cough remedy or a botanical drink. It's dandelion and burdock but as a smoky medicine. A really truly divine flavour that simultaneously takes me back to the past and forward to the future.
Flavour Craver:
It's arguably got some strength - it is cannabis after all - although I feel it's the slow burning taste I'm loving the most. This is a flavour-craver. It's not just THC going into my bloodstream. I could achieve that with tablets. This is why I smoke. It's a whole multi-sensory experience.
Indiana Jones Scent Vision
(yes really, stay with me here):
Certainly, every one of the gold seal smokes I've rolled I've enjoyed immensely. Hence why I keep buying it. The aroma as it smoulders away is incredible.
As I inhale and absorb that spicy scent, I'm instantly transported to a bustling market built on sand in some exotic place with a blistering climate. People are haggling over prices of carpet and pottery. If Indiana Jones rocked up he'd not look out of place inside of my scent vision. Although I might leave at that point. I have seen the movies. Shit will kick off.
I've not had any commercial level of hash that I love as much as this or that I could write about at this length or that would make me invoke Indiana Jones as part of a vision of how great it is. This is like the holy grail of cheap retro flavoured hash. Maybe. I've not tried them all to be fair. It's nice though.
Spliffs / Pipes / Bongs
I've had this hash in my pipe and my bong as well. They had been in storage for years but I couldn't resist trying this out as it just burns so clean and tasty. It's lovely with thick smooth clouds of smoke.
Finally:
So there we have it. If a hash induced Indiana Jones scent vision is what you're after then you'll likely love this hash too.

If you buy a soft sticky hash like this and it's stuck in plastic, pop it in the fridge for a while and then it's easy to peel off.
The PK Gold Seal, which I've routinely been calling Afghan Gold Seal for some reason, has been one of my favourite hashes on LB. I've bought this about 4 times now which makes it all the more remarkable I didn't remember the name correctly. I've not been able to resist a little side order of this nostalgic but hard to name hash with my regular main weed order from GC.
Solid Body Stone:
While it's a better grade of hash than many of the commercial hashes available, it's not LA Barz. It's not the Piatella. You've not found a secret cheap rocket fuel hash. It does however have a solid stone that slowly wraps itself around you like a comfort blanket and a beautiful exotic flavour of the past.
In terms of power and effect, while it's nicer than many basic commercials, you wouldn't have to go that far to find something that benchmarks much better.
Why Do I Love It?
So what's the deal here? Why am I loving this apparently average hash? Why has this been one of my most popular products? What am I getting from this?
I don't exactly know all the answers. I do know that it's the exact hash that I'd been searching for though because since I first tried it I've ordered it on repeat. I've been through a lot of cheap commercial grade hashes to get to this point. So let's explore together. I'm going to roll one up to start figuring things out as we go.
Cannabis Stress Putty:
It's very satisfying to roll up with. As it's squidgy it's quite therapeutic to tease into a snake. Like a cannabis stress putty. This leaves your fingers smelling of spice and herbs as though you were a chef or you worked in a medicinal herb garden. It's not super sticky so you don't end up with fingers like Spiderman like with some fancy hash.
It takes me back to some of the first hashes I bought. We usually got red seal and it usually wasn't really that good. The quality here is a long way from how it was back then but it definitely pulls at the nostalgia strings and makes me think back to simpler times (digital watches etc).
Ready For Action:
The pre-smoke rolling phase is important. Well, not important like world peace, but core to the overall ritual of smoking. And with this gold seal I feel well prepped and smelling like a spice farmer who's finished a tough day, erm, farming spices and is going to sit and have a cuppa. This is a strong pre-roll phase. That is a lovely take on things, Roo. Whilst the modern tech hashes are expertly crafted, beautifully clean and flavourful with often euphoric highs, sometimes a modern or updated take on the classics can really whip you back in time twenty or thirty years.

I've got a few bits of hash and extract at the min but I keep dipping into the gold seal. It's a really nice smoke with a unique and unmistakable smell and flavour. Perhaps representing something lost in modern hash making beyond just nostalgia.
Nostalgia is the word my friend, takes me back gone 20 years for gold seal. Puts me back in college..Had my eye on this one a while, good price and you might have convinced me
