Just started watching 'Spaced' again.
I'm 40 now so it is my generation, but it's really good!
(yup showing my age)
It's on all4. Along with Peep Show (which yeah i like too!)
Don't judge me!
Haha
Cheers BB

I'm in the middle of re-watching Spaced and felt like I had to scroll for hours to find somebody who finally mentioned it! xD
Thank you - you just reminded me I need to re-watch spaced again!
I was too old for it even back then, but the clever references still tickle me all these years later..

Well I’ll judge you... if I could give 2 upvotes I would, agree with you totally, 2 of my fave ever shows, making me think of hitting Spaced up again...
I loved the shows of that generation. Nathan Barley. Day Today. Brass Eye also. Then The Mighty Boosh.
Holy shit the Mighty Boosh. 😂. Literally only just remembered it.
That crack fox still gives me nightmares. 🦊

Ah fuck it, nothing better to do, haha
The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this
Trailer Park Boys - Another classic everyone here should be able to relate to
Big Mouth - Great for a background watch, but really funny and does take you back to your teenage years at times, haha
Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one
Life On Mars - Made in early naughties, but just as relevant as today
Dark Tourist - good short run of a different kind of travel show. The kind of travel I like too
The Wolves Of Yellowstone - Nature documentary that has a story line Walt Disney would be proud of. Really makes you realise the balance of nature
Utopia - Such an underrated British TV series
It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia - Great zany show about dysfunctional friends who live in their own world, and drink in their own pub causing all kinds of ridiculous antics
Homeland - Great series that will always have you wondering what, or who is next
The Killing - Only recommend the first seasons. It drags you along on the witch hunt convincing you you know the answer
Punisher - About time they stuck to the gritty comic. Refreshing that this i not aimed at kids and fattening wallets.
The End Of The Fucking World - Two out there teens who decide to adventure together with, maybe, disastrous consequences

Peep show one of my all time favs and can't to wrong with arrested development what a classic
Sad that they never manager to run the show normally... And probably we won't se another season ever :( love arrested development
Currently halfway through the first series of Altered Carbon after reading this thread and seeing your recommendation. I'm a PhilipKDick fan and I'm really enjoying it, cheers 👍
Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).
100% but do you think you could watch them the other way round and it’s all still as good? As I really do, integrated them amazingly well.
Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

yes, they will all help make it worse. on the bright side, since everybody started typing on their phones, dyslexia is hardly noticeable anymore and you really don't have to apologise.

Yean Gomorrah is probably my number 1 show, the setting, actors, story... superb. Cant wait to watch the Ciro Di Marzio movie too.
L'Immortale or the Immortal is the name, was out last year in Italy. Have tried to find out when its out in the UK but no joy yet
Its on sky atlantic now mate, its certainly worth a watch an sets up the next season of Gomorrah nicely
Literally just finished watching brassic 2 and Save me Too. Both class. Surely everyone on here has watched Brassic.....!!!?
I do, doesn't quite hit the levels that Shameless did back in the day but still a lot of fun. Plus it's good to hear actual accents on TV instead of just American lol
If you like weird? Get baked & watch.

On that note, throw Mighty Boosh into the mix as well.

i liked that a lot more than i thought i would. also, colony on netflix even though it was killed by covid and never finished.
I'm watching Detectorists at the moment. Really good. Funny and with beautiful scenery. On BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
Shout for detectorists.
Great theme tune btw.
Excellent characters.
Great series about the sackler family’s and there murderous medical misbehaviour ( painkiller )

Ifyou seen BB, definitely watch Better Call Saul.
Comedy? The Office US and then Parks n Recreation. Or maybe Shameless US? Little Britain it's always great company.
If you seen Broadwalk E, you probably have seen the sopranos. If not its a MUST! Ive been watching House of Cards and it's quite nice too.
Maybe 6 feet under, Weeds, Dexter, Chuck, My name it's Earl??
Cience? COSMOS!!! A mind blowing and mind opening cience series. Everyone should watch it before they die. Either the original and first with Carl Sagan (it might not have the best visual representations but Carl its Carl) or the new Neil Tyson.
In to some stand ups? George Carlin is a must, the young Carlin to the old political Carlin.
I would also like to give a shout out to my Spanish Fellows on THE Money Heist.

Orphan black! one of my favourites.. the wire.. Russian doll..cynical,funny. end of the fucking world. Money heist.. prison break..cleverly written. Better call Saul if you enjoyed breaking bad.
Rick and Morty and weed is my favourite combination. Snoop dog’s talk show on YouTube is hilarious to watch as-well.
I find American horror story hilarious, but only when I’m high, otherwise it’s pretty terrifying lol.
Films : seven psychopaths is a must watch, requiem for a dream and pulp fiction, all time faves. and I did write a detailed review and much more but it was deleted :/

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!
I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)
Stranger Things Season 1 - 80's themed sci-fi thriller with endearing characters that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
True Detective Season 1 - Basically an 8 hour movie that oozes quality. Pacing/cinematography/acting/dialogue are all A++ for me.
Trailer Park Boys - Get baked, watch this, laugh your arse off.
Peep Show - Clever and hilarious.

Band of Brothers is a masterpiece, great shout! Any recommendations of war films/series that are similar mate?
Give 'The Pacific' a go. Its HBOs follow up to 'Band Of Brothers' set during the allied assault on the Pacific region during WW2
Trailer Park Boys should be perfect for everyone on here, given the enormous amount of smoking and growing throughout!
The Wire
The Shield
Wu Tang. An American Saga
Foundation
Sopranos
Battlestar Galactica
There are gazillions more. But these are a few off the top of my head.

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode don’t be put off as that’s a bit shit, it does get better!
Watched “From” before that, that was pretty good too…

The Start Up, it's on Netflix. 2 series' that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Defo worth a watch!
just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.
The Boys or Doom patrol, quality shows right there & the wire If you didnt see it yet,too many to name mate but try them
Undone is good and trippy with the animation style it uses and pretty unique story to boot.
You (season 1). Solid watch but latest series was a waste of time.

I just rewatched 'The Lost Room'
It's a miniseries with 3 90min episodes and it only ever had one proper airing so nobody I've ever mentioned it to has seen it.
Definitely worth a watch though💜💚👊🏻

If no one has said it yet, Banshee. A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Loads of top shows already mentioned on this list so trying not to repeat(can't stand repeats). Didn't notice a mention for The Newsroom, absolutely brilliant with super slick dialogue, maybe stick to sativa for that one.
Also the classic stoner sit coms Top Buzzer starring a young Steven Graham and Ideal with Jonny Vegas, they will do for the indica night.
Once the hash and concentrates come out just put Taskmaster on it is the best thing c4 have done for a long time and requires zero brain power to enjoy perfect couch lock fodder

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.
Brand New Cherry Flavour if you think you'd find the subject of psychedelic sorcery played out as a fictional horror story interesting
Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.
Often overlooked, but Mike Judge of Beavis and Butthead fame created this absolute gem....highly reccomend...as smart as it is funny...
15/7.
You could try black mirror.
A selection of engrossing stories some weird and some mind blowing.. spanning 6 seasons between 4 n 6 eps each.
Can’t remember all but loch Henry and demon 79 were fck brilliant from the last season. 🌬️🍀

I'm surprised no one suggested Family Business (on Netflix). A great comedy series about a family in Paris who runs a Kosher butchers and end up producing vast amounts of Pastraweed!
Really funny, great actors and all around fun to watch.
A French Breaking Bad without all the stress in a way!

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.
I know this is a bit of old news but have you seen Schitts Creek? I just discovered it and it is so funny
The Christmas special of Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing done in THE most beautiful part of the country North Yorkshire! Great watch when baked as fuck haha :)

Devs.
New Alex Garland (Ex Machina) series on FX & Hulu in the states, not sure where in the UK. Totally brilliant, and the best cinematography I've seen on TV. Ran here in spring 2020 and I'm still thinking about it.

New British comedy horror on prime with Simon Pegg and nick frost, only a short one but was enjoyable, there’s this once scene when nick frost thinks he is about to get shanked and it’s hilarious.
It’s called Truth Seekers
It’s called Truth Seekers
Succession is better than you'd think. Punisher is the best out of all the Marvel shows, Daredevil is also very watchable (and Jessica Jones if you're into angry women with PTSD). Umbrella Academy is fun to watch. The Magicians ditto. Also The Boys.
One of my all-time favourites will always be Daria.
I just love that sassy, sarcastic, little oddball in her socially satire highschool world. Sometimes it hits close to home.
Hoops on Netflix is also worth one or two laughs.
Tuca & Berti is also the right amount of strange.
Our Planet is a great background noise, a lot of beautiful scenery overviews.
Not in Netflix, but how about the Kurzgesagt YouTube channel. It's funny, educational, soothing commentary, cute Art style a great variety of topics etc.

Lots of good suggestions & Sopranos is also great. If you have Netflix then Orange Is The New Black is available & also Weeds from the same writer; both a bit different... ;-)

Truly terrible. Shows how much Pitt & Jolie were needed to make that story work. These two are deathly dull!

most embarrassing song in your collection?
I have electric 6s gay bar on vinyl, doesn't represent who I am or even my favourite genre of music, I just think it's a tune. It does raise questions…

Absolute tune! Deffo a guilty pleasure…
Mine 100% Glenn Medeiros, Nothings gonna change my love for you, if you haven’t already watch the video lol.

That cliff top and billowing clothes! Fuck, I'd forgotten about this too! Add that and Peter Cetera's solo career to my list, and Chicago.
First record I ever bought as 9 year old was T. rex ride a white swan, second was Rolf Harris !
If you want really embarrassing, first ever gig I was 15 and got asked by bunch of friends to go to a cliff richard concert, not a cliff fan but went as fancied a girl. Two songs in realised it was a religious tour, no devil woman tonite.
Still cringe at memory of everyone holding hands and singing allehluya.

Unbelievably good live. Saw them play a Barfly not long after they'd released that single. Amazing band. Have the album on vinyl.
Jolene - Dolly Parton. Love it.
On other end of my collection is Ready or Not, DJ Hype Remix.
I'd say my record collection is a bit "eclectic"! Haha.;)

Jolene is never embarassing, well at 104db past a funeral precession maybe other than that Jolene is part of every good collection.
I'm told by others that it's this. If it comes on the radio though you are having Tiffany sung at you full blast, possibly slightly out of tune, and I don't care.
Not in my collection per say but definitely listened to it more than I’d like to admit back in the day 😂 who remembers princess superstar bad babysitter😂😂😂
Saw her live about 20ish years ago. Was great. Have a limited edition Frank Kozik poster (photo added) advertising one of her New York shows. Love Kozik's work from around that time. Had an awesome one advertising a show by The Oblivians (if you don't know them, look them up) too, but that's not near mint like the PSS one as it spent a lot of time on walls in various houses.
Fuck, he died in May. 61. No age at all.

When I was 6 the first ever song I bought was Jimmy Somerville, mighty real. In my defence I just liked the cassette art. No excuses however when I purchased the Hamster Song. I was old enough to know better.
I will survive - Gloria Gaynor
Heard the line “Go, walk out the door, don’t turn around now, you’re not welcome anymore” more than a few times in my house, even the kids sing it to me !!!

How to get Weed through U.K. airports
Hi everyone I’m flying to Germany Cologne soon and I want to have some smoke when I arrive. But I will not be hanging around in Cologne I’m renting a car and heading south close to bitburg. So I will not have time to mess around trying to find a local guy. Does anyone have any tips on how to pass security with hash or bud, I will not have a checked bag with me only hand luggage. Thanks everyone, I’m sure there will be people who say don’t risk it, but my addiction will always win! so there is no point trying to change my mind lol
Peace out everyone happy toking stay safe

Carts in your luggage, done it loads a times. Even had one in my pocket before and put it in the tray with my phone and money. If asked? It’s CBD, never been asked though.
Best answer for carry on ^^
Before vaping indoors was banned i've even had the audacity to hit a vape in the waiting lounge xD I saw someone else do it so thought heh. This was wayyy before people knew thc vapes were a thing I had a prototype sent from cali lol

I’m not a fan of carts I bought a few when I was in Vancouver and it didn’t touch me. It’s nothing like a bong haha
When I came back from Vancouver I did that with edibles lol I got a pick a mix bag and bought loads of different edibles and took them out the packaging. But on the plane on the way home I opened my bag and WOW the smell it stunk the whole plane out oops
I fly to Germany for work, I always get asked “why do you hire a car at the airport and not get a taxi to the hotel?” “For flexibility i reply” little do they know before I go to the hotel I’ll do a 2 hour drive into NL to get my stash ?
I've flown in and out of the UK with weed MANY times with no issues. Every time I've been to 'Dam I've had at least a few grams in my hold luggage upon return, never more than 5g though. I'd have it in a trouser pocket, folded up in my hold bag. Always arrived safe at the other end. Probably just luck, but also don't think they're as thorough as they like people to think. In saying that, there's really no point IMO as it's easy to find high quality bud and hash in most of Germany. I've been to Berlin, Cologne, and Frankfurt for work a few times and always got offered weed in the first bar we'd set up in. Webehigh is a good site for finding weed abroad. While some of it isn't accurate, it has worked for me more than once.
Hi there
I never did without a checked bag, thus I can not help...
An alternative could be to drive from Köln to the NL and enjoy a great coffee shop as this is not so far...Then you come back with your weed
Enjoy Germany!

This is the best solution in my view. It simply isn't worth getting caught in an airport with weed to try and take it. Many people have and have been fine, but the risk is too great in my opinion. Source something when you are there, don't take it with you dude.
I’d love to but my rental company are anal about me going over 400kms and my journey is about 360
Was going to say the same I’ve don’t it plenty of times coming back from Amsterdam the scanners only look for weapons and bombs so internal won’t matter bud straight up the bum and your good to go if you can’t do that double wrap in Mylar bags and heat seal then you can put in suitcase bro
Never had any probs coming from dam a wee smelly bag chucked in luggage too easy! Plus always post some ?
My "mate" told me if you're gonna post goodies back take your own envelopes, smell proof bags etc and always go into the Post Office to post ( around 8 euro) that way when it gets to England it arrives in Essex and they're not so strict checking on things. If you drop it in the postbox in the street it arrives in England via Wolverhampton and they're strict cunts and it's highly likely to get found.
Really? I can’t tell if your taking the piss haha I have to say it has crossed my mind.
Dont stick stuff up your arse mate (unless thats your thing - we arent in prison). Behind the balls is fine or discretely stashed in luggage. Worked many times for a guy i know...
Don't try hiding it on your body at all, friend thought he was clever & tied loads of little bags to the string waistband on his shorts & got caught. Was hilarious to watch security pulling them out like a magicians scarves tho. A different friend has been successful a few times taking jelly bean sized balls of hash in a giant jar of jelly beans. It's also worth noting that even dogs can't smell through petroleum jelly, wrap it up then smear a generous amount of vaseline on cling film then wrap it round whatever you want to get through & your OK as long as you don't get searched, or maybe bury it in a big jar of vaseline or 2, you may appear to be a bit of a pervert but it's better than getting your smoke discovered
that's a great idea. throw in some whips and a pair of handcuffs and you just come across as a law abiding pervert. might have to try this the next time I go to the states.
I am not airport security bud, as i say worked in the past. Think they are looking for weapons and bombs more than little lumps of hash, but do be cautious. I wouldnt recommend breaking any laws dude, be careful all about personal choice. Id rather they found a lump in my shorts than have to put stuff up my bum!
Haha true just the thought of me in a room squatting and some border dude checking my anus is empty puts me of a bit hahahaha
Wouldn't even bother trying. It's not worth the BS that would come with getting caught. Let the 'officials' do the work and post it to yourself if you have an address you can access whilst abroad? EDIT just read your reply further down about the hotel and the boss. He won't know!! Get it posted there! He has no right to know what you've had posted. Could be something for your trip like medication that you forgot to take....
The only way I've got a fair bit of smoke aboad was by car. I hired a car in Calais and went over as a foot passenger on the ferry. It was a road trip around Europe with some mates on their bikes. That was easy!!

Never travelled anywhere without an 1/8th of hash in my pocket. Pop it in my mouth like a sweet just before I get to the scanner.
Only place I didn't risk it was USA but I was going to a legal state anyway.
Only place I didn't risk it was USA but I was going to a legal state anyway.
If you need a clean CRB for your job, don't risk it. If you don't need a clean CRB, then put it in your bum. It's really the worst worst rubbish getting busted at an airport.
I have been told many many times that carts are the way forward with travelling and crossing boarders.
I thoroughly wrap in many layers of clingfilm. Slightly heat it to close all gaps. Then I take one of those roll on deodorants, remove the plastic ball, put my parcel in the deodorant, put back ball and presto!
Last time I actually bought a secret stash Clip lighter (you unscrew the bottom) and filled that
Also another one is get a few pens and in one of them take the ink cartridge out and wrap ground up bud in cling film and stuff the barrel. Of course make sure the barrel is a solid colour and not a transparent Bic!

However you smuggle it I advise grinding up the bud before hand. You can pack more and it’s also convenient for when you do use it
Whatever you decide to do chuck it in a mylar bag, heat seal it and then repeat. This will solve any scent issues- up to you where you want to "store" it then, but I'm not sure if I would want one of those bags up my arse!
I know a couple chaps who put it in a bottle of suncream wrapped in clingy. Worked every single time.
Wouldn't dare try it with carry on mate. Checking a bag is the best, and put some behind soap in a sealed soap dish ;) Although I've brought some hash back in my jacket pocket coming from Amsterdam - felt like William Hayes in Midnight Express - it was quite the buzz! I was all ready to feign ignorance, ha ha.
I always get a fresh pot of hair wax. Double bag and tape up a Q Scoop out some wax put the bud at the bottom smooth back over and chuck in your wash bag. Tried and tested worked for me many times with carry on luggage.
I've taken stuff on holiday to Spain numerous times, but always in checked luggage. Sorry, I know you said you weren't checking luggage, but there it is. Check a bag is my advice.
I did that when I flew to Portugal it worked perfectly I was absolutely buzzing. But unfortunately this time I will be staying with a friend at his parents hotel and apparently a few weeks ago it all kicked off because a staff member had there stuff delivered to the hotel and his dad found out and went mad. And I’m looking to get employed so I don’t want to piss him off before meeting him haha
I suggest that for travel, mct infused drops in a 10ml sealed bottle are the most inconspicuous option
If I have edibles I seem to need about 1000mg before it does anything I don’t know why? It’s super annoying and expensive so I don’t really bother anymore
Are they made by you or premade? I guy doing our path a few weeks back said he could eat bags of them and no effect. I gave him a few of my homemade ones to take night fishing for him and his mate. One pink kush around 25mg and one multiple strain around 20mg. He came back Monday and said they were both battered for the whole night!
A company called smugglers duds make some boxer shorts with a hidden compartment which i recommend. They would just chuck it away, but you might miss your flight so be safe mate. Peace and fine herb to you
I don’t see how they would work as the body scanner would spot I have something in my pants.

Fishguard CK manager discovered cannabis in package

Fishguard CK manager discovered cannabis in package
https://www.westerntelegraph.co.uk/news/20011007.fishguard-ck-manager-discovered-cannabis-package/
When the manager of Fishguard CK supermarket was handed a mysterious package on May 10, 2021, his suspicions were instantly aroused by the curious smell that was emanating from it.
Police were summoned and, upon opening the package, found that it contained packets of sweets and 26.07 grammes of cannabis.
The parcel had been addressed to Maximus Goldsworth, aged 20, of West Street, Fishguard and Goldsworth admitted the charge of attempting to purchase and possess the illegal Class B drug when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates.
His solicitor, Mr Andrew Isaac, described Goldsworth’s attempts to buy the drugs online as ‘foolhardy’.
For the offence he was granted a conditional discharge for 12 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £22 surcharge.

I wonder, did all he have to do was plead innocence and ignorance? That is the advice on LB regarding a "knock on the door" or are we being too flippant about this? One answer is not to sweat it the police have better things to do... but obviously they don't. I know (or hope) this story is an outlier but still, it has got me thinking 🤔

Hes just playing the stereotypical 'roadman' image most the youth have fallen into that trap. Same as the american youth in the 90s with the 'gangsta rap' it just got rebranded 'roadman' instead of 'thug'

It would be interesting to see a statistic about the survival rate of weed smokers.
This may just be a coincidence but I don't have covid and I use cannabis everyday ;)

Not medical evidence, paramedic and smoker (not at same time!) not had a day off sick since covid started. Been exposed multiple times. Not proof of anything, just my 2pence

I genuinely don’t know anymore. My opinion is the virus is real but nowhere as bad as we are being led to believe. but the whole situation is being manipulated by governments for their own agendas. “Biggest transference of wealth in history” ? Anyway enough crazy talk. Stay safe everyone.
I used cannabis daily for years & got critically ill with Covid back in Jan 21. 3 months on life support, 4 months total in hospital. Have been discharged 9 months now & only been taken off my daily blood thinners last week. (I had blood clots in both lungs) - now I can explore the world of edibles as my lungs are f****d from my brush with Covid.....any suggestions welcome. Thank you.
I’ve done zero research on this topic, but just on the slightest off chance it does I upped my dose since lockdown, you can never be too careful lol.
Speaking from personal experience, maybe??? I had covid in March/ April, it sucked, and I've had "long covid" ever since, though much better than I was. On the other hand, I didn't get a cough let alone ARDS, so I wasn't hospitalised. On the other other hand, "long covid" reset my tolerance levels to newborn infant, so I was only taking a tiny bit of AVB every night to help me sleep. If you get covid maybe experiment with microdosing edibles as opposed to lighting up a fat blunt?
I take cannabis oil whenever I start feeling a cold or flu and I swear it works over 90% of the time.
I had it in feb before it was thought to be here, only thing that let me breathe was a combo of weed and the blue athsma inhaler. I distinctly remember saying that the only reason I wasn't in hospital with whatever flu I had was I was smoking heavily.
Well no one I know who smokes it or in my family had had covid at all that’s all I’m saying ;) defo the cure / prevention of CANCER!!! Facts
Very happy with the wedding cake & the alien. I'm not sure what hash I got, and I've not had hash for a long time, but it took me back to the hash days. Very satisfied, good seller, good product
I really enjoyed the Cake Crasher, very potent and pungent! One of my favourites from them so far..
It currently holds the position of ‘last blunt of the night’ for me at the mo (which has to be strong and tasty) so it fits well 👍

Good to hear 👍 I really enjoyed the wedding cake, in fact I'm saving it for a time I can really sit back & enjoy it, I'm hoping the cake crashers is of similar quality.
Good luck. Been waiting 8 days and comms are not fantastic. 1st order from these guys and only my second no show in 2 years. We shall see....
Ah sorry to hear that, my first order from these guys was really good. It did take a day or 2 longer than others, I have an order from greentech that arrived yesterday & was ordered at the same time. But I'm not worried, I'm sure it will arrive as will yours 🤞
I hope you got yours. 10 days now and they sent me a dud tracking number. I feel quite uneasy about this lot now. Only reply to one message per day then you have to wait 24 hrs for a reply. Not great.
3 days til I can hit that dispute button. What a pain in the arse. Ach well, loads of good vendors on here. I'll go back to the reliable tried and tested ones and stay there I think.
I'll update once I hear something from them. I'm certain they'll sort it out somehow once we know what's happened.
Nope. After 2 weeks they gave me a fake tracker number then went dark. Most people seem to have received their orders and are happy so I dunno. I'll raise a dispute tomorrow then forget about it and move on. Shame but there are great vendors on here so it's fine.
Ahh dude, sorry to hear about this!! Onwards and upwards as they say… Its sad as I’ve had nothing but a great service from them.. but shit happens I guess.. Hope you get a nice smoke soon and medicate those troubles away ✌️

Cheapest test of weed buying on little biggy?
I don't know anyone here so the only real way I can start trusting this is with a small purchase. Anybody know where to go with this?
I was the same as you when I first ordered. Urban Leaf co, let me order .5 of a couple of strains. It was & still is free RM first class delivery so risk was really low.
In the end it was the best decision now. They have been excellent with everything and now I feel like a pro! Haha.
They have excellent quality bud, fantastic prices. I can guarantee you won't regret your decision if you choose them ? welcome & Enjoy.

Yeah I've used them before. I'd get a variety selection. I had purple dawg last and it's excellent.

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but The Tree Shop has a $43 offering for Super Blue Dream bud. Pretty low risk they have been at it here since 2012!
How did your purchase go? Are you an LB convert yet?
I've just put in my 4th order . All have been from Rare Breeder and are spot on. Quick, reasonably priced and super stealthy.

Radar Breeder sometimes has budget bud which varies in quality but always does the job well. I've had some as cheap as $130 an oz & I was very happy for the price. Last one I had was Super Silver Haze for I think $60 a q and it was spot on, best bud I've had for a while including the premium purchases
Hi mate I have done an affordable purchase/vendor review on here https://littlebiggy.org/link/ZNFvvX, feel free to ask any questions, happy to help.

Once you take the plunge you will never look back , I went for RB for my first ever order and it went smooth as fuck and banging stuff. I've used 5 now 3 have been bang on and other 2 should be dropping soon , good luck with it
I cant personally vouch as I haven't gone for it yet but I did see this new vendor pop up offering 1g Blue Cookies for BTC0.0003.
Seems low risk in price but obviously its a new vendor.
Might be best sticking to a more established vendor if you'd prefer the peice of mind over the price but I've linked the Blue Cookies if you were interested.
I personally have used Urban Leaf Co and Dank2000 so far.

Good coffeeshops in Amsterdam
Hello everyone,
I am visiting Amsterdam in a couple of weeks and wanted to ask for some coffeshop-recommendations. Is there a special one? Or are they all the same? :)
I am visiting Amsterdam in a couple of weeks and wanted to ask for some coffeshop-recommendations. Is there a special one? Or are they all the same? :)
My ex was dutch and I've been there too many times to remember, 420 cafe mate it's got boom bud and its not as loud and cheesy as most of them, used to be cat that always attacked me, probably it's dead now, but yeah 420 cafe for me cant beat it, it used to be a pub, sitting at the bar with their bong is where you wanna be , also I forget the name but get a train to Rotterdam head for the bilderberg hotel , has no seats but the smoke is next level , plus it's good to get out of Amsterdam Rotterdam in my opinion is a better city just not as many coffee shops
Awesome recommendation! However bear in mind they have 2 shops. I would recommend visiting the original one on Singel, previously known as the Dutch Flowers. All product is the same, but the shop itself is in a quieter area and a much nicer place to sit and enjoy your smokes! It's been a family favourite for 3 generations now!
I always liked Maastricht more than Amsterdam, a lot of the coffee shops are on barges and it's a nice city to explore without being bothered by street level dodgy boiis. Have a great trip OP and if you like chocolate milk then deffo get yourself some Chocomel (it's in a yellow bottle/can and it's the tits).
Is it a decent town mate? Desperate to go back but wouldn't go to Dam again. Had a look at Utrecht but Maastricht was always a bit of an ambition in those 3 trips a year days!
Yeah wouldn't mind a wander over the border either. Cheers matey definitely interested will bear it in mind
+1 this. Always used to buy the 5g deals of it and it was the best smoke ever. Sadly not seen it for a couple of years on my many visits now :( so i think they must have lost that supply sadly.
Agreed mate! Had a true Strawberry Haze there too which was different to seed versions commonly available. Claimed to be 100% sativa (cant confirm or refute the genetics ) but fuck me i walked out with eyes lile id be on disco biscuits lol and set me up for a great afternoon walk ill tell you that. Best thing about Kadinskys is that great window open wide, just watching the world go by. Spent many an hour in that window as a solo smoker and is awesome for some people watching where you see some very interesting lol things

That sounds like an awesome Amsterdam moment, there’s some special stuff to be found in the right places. I bet those Dutch growers have some amazing cuts.
But oh man, those window seats are the best, reading that took me back there for a moment... ahh, good times, can’t wait for summer.

I'm new to this site, found it because I haven't been able to get any smoke for nearly a year. A while back I took a day trip to Amsterdam simply because I was suffering badly. I done my homework before going, the place that all the locals use is a shop called Boerejongens. It isn't a cafe as you can't sit and smoke your weed in the shop. It has a stocked range of high grade cannabis and has a wide selection of Amsterdam genetic weed. I went to a few places, but Boerejongens was a grade above.
Haven't been for about 10 years after being an every couple of month visitor. My all time go-to has always been Grey Area - in Singel. Can be a mission to find but for me the original standard for what was in Dam. Green Place has also been mentioned is a chill and good menu (think I recall Batman @ €22!!!!!) not like the old days of €20 for a 3.5...Abraxas I love, and get into Spuistraat some nice little places there inc. Kadinsky. Enjoy.
For bud quality and top smokes head to Borenjongens. Borenjongens have changed the game in Amsterdam massively with their own Amsterdam Genetics. Their coffee shops are always rammed so best to buy your smokes and head somewhere else to smoke.
Other good places for product is Grey Area and Barneys. Barneys is a good place to smoke.
I would then take your weed and head to Amnesia personally though. Proper chilled vibes in there. Tweede Kramer and Kandinsky are great too.

Here are a couple of impressions from my Amsterdam trip. Maybe they will be of help.to future travelers.
Kadinsky - cozy atmosphere, lovely view out of the front windows, sits at the front windows. "Big Buddha Cheese", "AK47" and "Gelato" - all had a nice quality to them and were easy and enjoyable to smoke. The chosen music was not always to my taste, but they also played some nice jazzy or soul tracks. I also tried the space cake there - it really glued me down to the sit. All in all it was my favourite
Easy Times - clublike atmosphere, even with a DJ, the stuff seemed stressed and it was really crowded. I couldnt really harmonize with the vibes of the place. They have a good selection of weed. "Tangerine cookies" - really nice smoke!
1ehulp - orientally stylized. Was full, when I came the first day. On the second day I got in. There are three levels and a couple of small alcoves... For me the place felt a kind of narrow, but it might have been the effect of the herbs... "Gorilla Skittlez"... Bought and rolled, hadnt tried, yet. They have moon rocks. But you have to walk a bit to get there.
Paradox - it felt like a student coffee shop (not in a bad way) The prices are cheaper compared to other places. The stuff is nice and friendly. It was the coffee shop with the most light...
And I was told that they are famous for their space cake (1gr in each slice). I got some, but hadnt tried it yet.
Hans Brinker Hostel - cheaper way to spend the night in a bed than in a hotel. Breakfast is included and was good.
They have a bar and a club. The rooms have been clean. I think especially for groups who can book a whole room with 6 or 8 beds for themselves it is a good place to stay.
Thanks for.all the advices! Cheers to everybody! :-)

I had the opportunity to smoke some excellent local stuff from Grey Area as well as fire Jungle Boy's materials at the Green Place.
1e HULP always got quality hash and buds, too.

Grey area was good it’s small and gets super busy and we happened upon a cafe called flower power, we brought these chocolate Bon Bons they were so thick and chocolaty but when you opened them up they were bright green, the guy who sold it to us was like just eat half, don’t eat a whole one and see how you get on. Me in my infinite wisdom thought fuck that I will be fine and ate the whole thing and woke up the next morning with recollection of the night before, my wife said I’d just passed out. Twat on tour but there we go I got excited I’d never been to Amsterdam before. Have a fucking awesome time.
Haha :-) I will be carefull with the amount of chocolate bonbons I eat. Dont wont to completely pass out somewhere...
The grey area is good but I love the stud and Ibiza they bit out of the way but so worth it. The stud dose €5,€10,€20 deals really good stuff and ibiza has some real out of this world type stuff.
Some are more up market than others. Some have higher prices in the more tourist areas. I had the best sativa ever there. We were there again recently. Such a great city in general. I felt safe there and had great experiences wandering about till 4am. Glasgow is much more dangerous at night. Just don't get too wasted
And be careful if you try anything in a smart shop. Some of that stuff is very strong.

Been a while, but I was very impressed with Greenhouse Koffeeshop in the 'dam (it's one of the most well known ones and was friendly). Very good quality menu. Had some Organic Trainwreck there that was amazing, even though I'm usually more of an Indica fan.
Not every Koffeeshop in the Dam is quality. Some sell crap, surprisingly. Others are weirdly hostile to foreigners. Seek out the good ones - there are loads.
Good luck, it's a pretty awesome place.

1E Hulp and Green Place are 2 of the best Smokeys and Bulldogs are shit but plenty of other great ones too.
Haarlem and Zandoort are also worth a short trip on the train from Amsterdam loads of great Coffeeshops there too and bit quieter and cheaper.

I am there only for a weekend... So unfortunately there will be no time for trips to other cities... But thank you for the recommendations! 1E Hulp seems to have a good reputation.
Yes theres another Coffee Shop with like a Rasta theme right near there that's really good too cant actually remember the name.
Definitely 1eHulp, always have a great selection of quality bud for average prices of €6-€14.
And oh man their edibles taste so good.
Too good infact, it'll make you want to eat 4 slices of their cake in one sitting! (p.s do NOT eat 4 slices in a sesh)

1eHulp great for local prices, bit out of the way but worth it. Dampkring always a great way to smoke away a few hours.
That's a shame but your defo have fun mate. I got stuck in a gin house my last time there it's in on of the side streets from the bulldog the red light district one lol it's the oldest gin house in the world check it out if you can.
Visit Katsu Coffeeshop, its close to De Pijp station on the metro. Its a small hidden gem a bit out of the center but close distance like 10min by metro. Absolutely love the vibes there, prices are alright and the quality of the weed is really good too. Also they have a toilet for which they dont charge like other ones lol. I suggest to visit definitely and leave high from there at least once and try to find your way around xd good luck!
Agreed. I went posh and paid silly per gram for some king hassan black 2. Made the mistake of flaming it to locals amusement, and 2 grams literally just bubbled and splatted on the skins within a second of flaming it. What a smoke.
De pipj is amazing. Its where i stay when i used to go. Venture further south, about 750 km from katsu on the main vessel road and and tiny outlets on sidestreets have the best widow ive ever had, a shame i cant remember the name, but it was fitted like a chinese takeaway, no seats, a counter, menu, cheers. My tolerances are fine and could get through a henry of anything on here daily, but 1 joint of that widow was properly whitey brutal class A.

Yep! I’m sure I had the same white widow you had! One spliff
Knock me out cold! So strong I couldn’t stay awake to enjoy it! Had to move onto purple haze not half as strong but I could at least function! Lol

The first place I tried in Amsterdam was a little place opposite Vondel Park simply called Vondel.
It was a nice reintroduction to weed for me after years without it.
I honestly can't remember prices but I thought the atmosphere was nicely chilled and the clientele mainly seemed to be local students.
If you're hungry Vegan Junk Food is incredible!

Hey, if you fancy getting away from the tourist areas try the Westerpark district.
A couple of really nice Coffee shops in that area, first is Coffeeshop Chaputeau, it’s just a walk in service but the prices are insanely good, quality of the smoke is high and there always a line of friendly locals to chat to.
A couple of streets away from that is a Moroccan coffee shop called Coffeeshop Freedom (this one has seats),small but high quality menu and the hash is top class. Again mostly full of friendly of locals, highly recommend.
Plenty of nice restaurants in the area too. Well worth it if you fancy a break from the chaos.

The plug is always a great stop, not to far from Dam square and has a great choice of Cali buds.
Not sure when was posted I am New to lb. If you have already been I hope you had a great time I absolutely love the place. My favourite is coffee shop jonny. Only 2 seats or something so pay and go place. Just a mention for voyagers personally never had any issue at this place always first stop because of proximity to central station.
You will find a special one just wander and get lost in the magic. They are all different in vibe, products, prices, etc.

Cool! Thanks for all the recommended coffeeshops. I have to make a plan to visit a couple of them and not get stuck in the first one :)
Katsu in the de pijp area, a lot of locals use it. Lovely wee place,.great atmosphere and some great weed and hash.
My trip to Katsu was ruined by a group of loud London teens/early 20s. Shame. But the market was worth the walk :)
That's a shame, last time I was there a group of French students were in. They were quite loud as well, I was sitting at the bar rolling when they ordered a half and half joint. 20 minutes later they bought a full strength one. 15 minutes later? Uncontrollable giggling lol. I may well be slightly biased as I fell for the lassie tender, lovely hazel eyes
I sat outside and enjoyed a hot chocolate in the cold February air. It was nice apart from the noisy lads yelling about their "Zoots" haha
Bluebird was always good and some nice blue cheese, Voyagers had some really nice Rollex OG and if u fancy a little walk we found a nice 1 called Katsu.
Enjoy
Enjoy
Coffeeshop La Tertulia is a great little spot. Very chill with lots of pot plants and right next to a canal.
It's not exactly central but if you get a bit lost, or fancy exploring, down in the South-East is Coffeeshop Stud, on Molukenstraat. Very relaxed, locals only, good selection, great prices. God I love Amsterdam...
Grasshopper is nice. Its definitely a tourist coffeeshop since it's right opposite Centraal Station, so the weed isn't the best, but I love sitting out on their terrace on an afternoon just people watching/canal watching :)

All excellent vendors, I buy from radar breeder regularly. Waiting on an order made yesterday so I don't want to jinx it by saying any more lol

Haven’t bought on here for 6 months. Loads of new vendors have popped up. Who’s good? Stealth really important.
Have bought from TGT, Drugs Inc and Gentlemen Dealers before. All good weed, but TGT have been best for stealth and professionalism so far.

Urban Leaf Company are the nuts. Super quick delivery (usually 1-2 days), friendly coms, regular updates and varied menu. Quality of flower is class, always healthy and cured well.
Perfect, can’t reveal it obviously but the first two are good enough, then they add two more.
Don’t hesitate, just buy from ULC.

Been around for half a year and JJ hasn't fail once. Great stuff, great service and great comms.
I will get an order soon, i can post a pic. But normally stuff in a bag + bag + vacuum bag + a bigger bag and the envelope. I find always some kind of perfume that adds more stealth ;D
Thanks. I’m not sure perfume is the best idea unless you want to attract attention. I put an order in with TGT in the end. Hopefully their stealth is as good as it used to be. Picking up some Mimosa locally today too.
But you can't smell it from outside and it's not a strong smell, i think it's just in case there's a leak

Some nice feedback. From watching this space for nearly a year, out of the vendors I haven’t tried, JJ, radar breeder and Hootan look good. Urban leaf co. Are a bit newer. Did JJ have some problems with stealth a few months back? I’m in a job where if I get caught my employer will know straight away through DBS and I’ll be out on my ear, so stealth is my main concern.

Any other wrestling marks on LB???
Total mark here dude, check the username lol gone off of wwe, they keep getting your hopes up & then dashing them. The fiends terrible booking was…
anyone a fan of british wrestling remember alex shane? And the time they brought over Eddie gurrreo to london and put it on bravo tv! Golden days
Another life time ago so not sure if they are still around but FWA FRONTIER WRESTLING were the NUMBER 1 in the UK. There is a British wresting show by none other then the showstealer alex shane himself on tv and youtube. I would say start there for all the best UK info.
You could try for a "cheap pop"...I'd avoid doing a "lars" though..those videos will come back to haunt you :-)
Yeah...shame I have work tomorrow so gonna have to try and find time tomorrow evening to watch it.
I'm going with Cain and Rousey for the wins.
How about you?

I went for brock an brawn lol and the missus went for Roman an Seth she's a shield fan :( for the women's I went for Paige and Ronda, red it so wrong lol. The missus went for Charlotte lucky bitch :).
Who did you think would win?
Who did you think would win?
Its going to be such a strange weekend.
For a start..Gronk? I dont know who he is but I CANNOT STAND HIM! :-)
I've read its all been taped already. It seems to be a card of random matches and lots of gimmicks which I'm guessing is wwe's attempt to make up for having no atmosphere with no crowd.
I'm gonna watch it more out of curiosity to see how they pull it off. I think potentially..well I'm hoping Zayn v Bryan gets some time.
Gonna miss Takeover though.

To be honest I'm struggling to really enjoy any of it without the audience.
I think Otis winning really says it all. Nothing against him or the character but its pushing it a bit to think he could become champ. I suspect he will give the shot to Mandy Rose though.
Asuka winning was good but I think they missed a trick when awarding her the title. If she had given Becky the Green Mist when handing it over she would have become the biggest heel in the company instantly.
Good to see Black and Rey still alive after that throw from the roof :-)
Personally I think the only good thing to come out of WWE since this all kicked in is the new Undertaker series. Its brilliant.
Did you enjoy Money in the Bank?

The fiends terrible booking was the last straw for me, they also killed wcpw which was up there with the best wrestling on the planet, let alone the UK, for a year or 2. Since then it's been all aew, they very rarely disappoint imo.

No one home to sign for post
Has anyone ever missed a delivery that needs signed for? Will the package just go to the main post office for you to collect or will it get sent back. I couldn't be arsed waiting on first class post because royal mail are way behind over here, but won't be here to sign for NDD because of work. Has anyone ever had to collect a package that they weren't home for?
My first ever buy from LB came when I wasn’t in and it was a signed delivery so had to go to the depot , safe to say I was bricking it however there was no issues when I picked it up , a good vendor with good stealth means there is nothing suspicious and TBf if you think about it they come across thousand of packages and as long as you don’t get a proper keeno and FBI wanaambe you’ll be alright dude . Ps stopped getting signed delivery after the purchase as it would drop when I am not in, also I can name you a few vendors that post your stuff the next day without you paying for NDD
Yeah I have a couple of times and I just had to go to my local dispatch office to collect, as long as you got the little card from the post dude its all good, even if you haven't and its there they will give it to you as long as you got ID. Felt even more cheeky but was no issue, don't worry
