I always used to take them just before the switch.
Few years ago I done a comparison and I found that the one's taken within few days of flower where better. They wouldn't be the first to show roots but they had the bigger root cluster within 10 days.

Then I started doing 24-36 hours of darkness before I switched to 12/12. Having 24+ hours to rest and relax they shoot up in the darkness and have amazing growth and for me they definitely finish a little faster and fatter

Day 8

The Cherry i took this from was at day 4/5 of flower, without a 24h/48h dark period before light cycle switch. The plants were just too big for that.

Something bit crazy right, this cutting went straight into a root riot peat pellet after the dunk of Clonex. I added 2 inches of 60/40 coco to the pot then added the peat pellet and filled the pot as you can see.
It had a good watering so it didn't dry out. About 4 days ago I started it on full strength nutrients as I was lazy and only watered it because I was watering the others. She is something else

50% humidity in beginning of flower is way too low with such a low humidity they won’t stretch mate

I'm only just thinking about topping this Cherry Hills and flower in couple weeks.

Below is a cutting of the Cherry in flower, roots bursting out the bottom and today is day 8

That Northern lights i think it was got 15 ounces then I hit a 19 ounce with a Watermelon zkittles i think she was.

With these girls they have more light, more space and lots of other perks

I use a massive dehumidifier in my flower room. It works independently with a set 45%. So it keeps the whole room around 48-60%

What i do/have, is an extremely larger outtake fan than is needed. Thats positioned one end of the room with the intake fan at the opposite end. My air exchange is overkill but my plants thrive on it.

I try not to stretch to much as I grow massive plants. Normally with 15+ heads, as i top them lots throughout veg.
They are always at least 1.2 meters tall at the start of flower.
These big 4 are near 2 meters tall with the biggest having about 40 heads. I'm growing outwards not upwards. Netting is coming out for this as they are bent over lots already. Stupid, lazy big to be honest.
I'm aiming for 25+ ounces dry weight off the biggest plant hopefully.
They are being looked after this time to so I can try beat my 19oz best total maximum

They are only just into flower so the end date would be week 1-2 of January '26

I was mad for Biobizz for years, the returns are just really low.

I found the trick is to find a Nutrient that's ph neutral, with a 2 week flush and let them dry up naturally before the chop.

you're right mate the yields are definitely not as good using organics that picture was from something i was trying out in 2l pots to see if a SOG method would be worth doing gave them only one week veg averaged about 14g per plant i wont be doing it again.ive used the advanced nutrients ph perfect line in the past that was decent always a two week flush and 2-3 days dry before chop.
im using a retro farmer 720w for flower and a mars hydro 300w for veg,veg times vary i try and have some ready to go straight into flower after the chop pot sizes im running atm are 10l next ones are going in 15s then im switching strains ive been thinking about getting some clones of this out to people see what others can do with it the seeds are from fast buds it finishes in 6-7 weeks

I never really had much success with fast buds.

I need strains that are strong and can look after them self's. I have no time to be proper considerate to them.

I have 4 girls in Veg, touching the lights. Only because I have 0 time to make it perfect for them

im using de-chlorinated tap water i tried some autos for the first time from fast buds and wasnt impressed but i got these trop cookies fast flower version at the same time and they are vigorous to fuck with the shortest flower time ive ever seen.its hard graft mate especially if you have other stuff on

I would of thought so dude.

Tap water has an Ec of like 0.6 - 0.8 with all the chemicals and minerals. With a high or low ph to deal with too.
RO has an Ec of 0 with no chemicals or minerals. So you can add more nutrients and keep the Ec low. With all the nutrients added i hardly go above Ec 1.3, thats with more than the bottle says to add.
Ph doesn't fluctuate as much if your using hydroponics too.

No adding an air stone to your water for 24 hours for de chlorination.

It really does improve everything.

I grow in 60/40 coco/pebbles, with large fabric pots.

It must make a difference in soil too

I once had a 16 pot, Alien system. Very impressive but all the noise from the air stones. Had a water chiller running aswell

I've only had the spritz but I don't agree about the muted terps. Smells nice (agreed about the mimosa vibes), tastes nice, has a proper nice effect and is absolutely coated in full trichomes so you can tell it's been handled with care and not been fucked with. The smell after grinding is perfection. I think a lot of people now are smoking & trying bud that has sprayed terps and they're getting used to the intensity of flavour from that. You could be the best grower in the world and find it nearly impossible to grow bud that smells and tastes like some of these sprayed bits. All I know is the spritz is some fire and I can't wait to try more of your offerings. Gonna leave a proper in depth review later on

Can you comment on how the terps/flavour come through in comparison to some of the big guys in the game like sourco, kushler, lux cannabis, jolly good genetics. I have had some nice bud from KIG in the past but it doesn't compare to some of these (no offence intended)


I have had some unreal flavours come through which would coat your mouth in a way you can feel it and the taste lingers, but i wouldnt know if it was sprayed, just that it was by these guys who have a big reputation in the scene. Haven't had anything from the growers on LB compare to them lot I have listed but granted they are a lot more expensive than kig / lb grow vendors

I don't think it's too far off man. Most of the big top shelf producers have grown dozens of seeds of just 1 strain to find their crown jewel pheno then spent 6 months perfecting the feed schedule and another 2 to 3 months curing the buds so it's hard to compare something like that to a homegrow operation, but what I will say is that the quality to price ratio it's fantastic and on a scale of all weed I'd give the taste an 8.5/10. I know if you see an 8.5 rating on an item here you're probably running the other way but I mean it on a proper scale of 0 being tastes like pondscum and a 10 being the best weed I've tasted in my life so an 8.5 is a massive compliment. I wouldn't say the spritz coats your mouth as strongly as some strains but the taste doesn't come across muted in any way and it does linger. Some buds on the market are a bit harsh, taste a bit green or don't seem clean but this spritz is a real clean moreish smoke

Not to be a kiss arse and I’m not way affiliated other than being a happy customer but I’ve honestly enjoyed every strain I’ve had from you. My friends have too. Some of the strains may not have kick your face terps but are always a very enjoyable smoke. I only ever pick to roll and it’s literally hashfingers everytime. Just shared a blunt of spritz with my pal and we’re currently walking the pup having a ball. Fired up another of the peach and that’s lovely too, no complaints at all.

Not to sound like a dick but sometimes there’s people that just don’t know what proper weed is. There’s so much stuff nowadays that’s sprayed with shit or messed with somehow and they get used to that. Anyways it just means there’s more for sale to the people like me that buzz when I see a new listing.

And tbh anybody complaining about shake doesn’t really have a leg to stand on in general, it’s exactly what it is. If I ever was to get some for some reason I’d only trust kig

Another more than happy customer who can only speak of there own experience the shake can be understood to be a bit lacking but as for the bud never a doubt always top drawer.

I’ve tried the Spritz, Cherrytini and LH2P and think they’re all great, good flavour on each and smoke well. Always keen to grab some of KiGs flowers when they come up and never been disappointed.

Pic of the Cherrytini below, my favorite of the 3 cos just love that flavor. LH2P is probably the sexiest to look at if you like sparkles & the bubble hash is lush.

Hey mate. No, it definitely wasn't Spritz nor any of the others (Red Red, Cherrytini, LH2P) that you sent me. Whatever it was, it was completely off the charts in smell and taste and I would love to get more of it!

To be real honest with you though, I'm having a couple of small issues with some of the order. Don't get me wrong, they are all super-coated, look amazing and get me very nicely baked, but having a few small issues nonetheless. The Cherrytini is quite moist inside and really clumps together and feels a bit damp when I try to grind it, so I'm trying to dry that out a bit before trying it again. The first joint of it was okay on the inhale but not great on the exhale. Hopefully better when a bit drier. The Red Red looks absolutely phenomenal (totally one of the best looking buds I've seen all year), but I'm getting very little smell or taste from it, which is a bit heart-breaking compared to how she looks. Spritz is a bit more smelly/tasty and I do really like the taste/smell of the LH2P. I think you were right about it being the strain I was searching for from last time. I did prefer the previous batch, but I had medium/large buds then compared to popcorn this time, which might be the difference.

I really hope you don't take my critique too much to heart, mate. I know you work super hard and produce some crazy good weed. Maybe a couple of these strains are just not for me.
