I completely believe in the climate science and trying to prevent it. Some green tech like solar and wind make good economic sense to do anyway though decades of discommisioning old power stations won't make producing it here any easier.
We've put ourselves under the boot of international energy markets at a time when the world couldn't be more divided. And if we meet every target and do reach net zero? our contribution is margin of error. China plans to keep on keeping on and the US is incredibly corrupt so won't deliver meaningful policy change this century. That's about 50% of the total emissions. And why would the developing world do any different?

The truth is out there if you want to look for it. Every prediction/model has been based on the assumption that CO2 is a warming gas. It isn’t a warming gas, not even close.
My job is analytics on wind farms. This first problem is the government doesn't have a clue about the problems with it.
The government gave incentives to build them so companies built them in the windiest places. Offshore north Scotland.
Most of the energy is needed in London but there isn't the infrastructure to move it. So a lot of the time we pay for that wind we can't move but then also have to pay a gas generator in the south to provide the required energy.
This effectively makes energy twice the price.

Agree with the sentiment but I'm not convinced about oceans dying. For a start the great barrier reef is at its greatest extent for something like 40 years. Over fishing, pollution etc are far greater problems in my opinion and we could do something about that.

It's a difficult one, I'm still on the fence but leaning towards it all being bollox.
Renewables make sense to me on a basic level - wind blows, sun shines, free energy yay. But there's nothing green about a wind turbine when you think about 1000s tonnes concrete, 100s tonnes steel, rare minerals, shipping, construction, permanent environmental damage, bird/bat deaths etc. plus it blows my mind that they need 100s litres of oil as a lubricant and diesel generators to start in winter. Never mind having gas turbines on standby when the wind stops and having to pay farms to stop producing when we reach storage capacity. It doesn't make sense to me .... And even worse we can't even manufacture ourselves. Surely if we wanted to replace our energy infrastructure it would make sense to use resources we have to build rather than importing everything.
As I mentioned I'm still trying to make up my mind. I stopped driving more than 10 years ago to do my bit (and live a bit healthier) but now I'm starting to think I've been a mug.

For starters find the articles on the reliability and positioning of the met offices weather stations. In short, most of them have 2-5 degree error and something like 80 don't actually exist. This is how we are measuring the record breaking temperatures to hundredths of a degree.
On the other hand, I've observed decreasing snowfall in Europe over the last decade. Floods seem to be worse (or is that because they are reported more). CO2 does seem to be increasing hence greening of deserts (but are we doing that or is it going to increase anyway given we are a historical low)
One thing I'm sure of is that the narrative is getting rammed down our throats at every opportunity. This makes me suspicious and I'm taking time to investigate claims which generally turn out to be bollox.

ive been using revolut for a couple years since coinbase started asking to many questions and becoming troublesome. every revolut btc payment first went to an external non custodial wallet held by me before paying the transaxe tx.
regardless, recently I got a request for more information on a 1 year old tx. inspite of providing the requested information they found it to be in violation of their terms, which suggests they're going through the blockchain to see where funds end up. this doesn't surprise me as at the start of the year they got their banking license and need to cut themselves off at the kneecaps in order to be compliment with crypto regs.
they don't need to tell me twice. I'm going to try buying some btc in person to avoid this shit going forward. keep doing what you're doing if it works but don't put all your eggs in one basket if the custody of funds are outside of your control ✌️

If you want to use a company like this try Wirex instead as they are much more relaxed with your crypto

I doubt this problem is unique to revolut, just that they're being extra judicious after recently getting their banking license. crypto laws in the uk make it so legally operating businesses bare responsibility for doing more checks than they used to, which tickle down to a bad time for people like us.
buying crypto in person is less problematic in that it's a p2p transaction so doesn't require kyc checks. new problems arise from it being a random person you're doing the transaction with, so there's a certain amount of risk involved. websites like localcoinswap let you filter by this type of exchange. I can't vouch for it yet until I complete a transaction soon.

How big are your transactions? Tbh I’ve been doing <100$ orders for almost 2years now straight from Revolut to the transaxe wallet (ik not the best opsec but I don’t really understand the risks) and not had a problem
They have a limit of 50 wallet addresses you can send to, so I was doing btc orders of about $1k at a time to keep the number of transactions down.
I can also say i have tried both coinbase and kraken. Coinbase wanted loads of i.d etc and froze the account eventually. Were as kraken works fine and has done for at least a year now. I would go with kraken haven't had any issues with them what so ever

Thanks for your response. My account is registered in my name email etc. But i only buy weed with it and the odd offshore crypto gamble now and then. Guess we wqill have to wait and see what happenes then.

p2p exchanges dont have this problem. local coin swap is one of the best and you don't have to deal in person, they have an escrow system like littlebiggy albeit everything is shitloads faster.

Just use kraken its very good and easy to use, with the only downside i have experienced being that there is a limit on the number of transactions you can make every 24hours but its only happened to me once after making about 25 transactions in a day and it was back to usual the next day.
Yeh they eventually do that to you, you can bullshit your way out of it for a few months but they eventually just close the account. I’ve used Paybis now for a few years and just send straight to the receiving address, not had any issues as of yet

I only buy crypto directly from Paybis and send it directly to an external wallet address without any issues. I also emailed Paybis today asking them if i had to pay tax or any associated fees when buying and sending crypto directly from my account in the UK and they said NO.

the government is using the information they acquire from legally operating crypto firms to "remind" people who have acquired crypto that any profit from fiat withdrawals are taxable. I know it was a legit email because the gov were bragging about it in the media shortly after that declared income from the associated taxes went up not long after taking the step.

This all sounds like a bit of a nightmare. If I am buying crypto on CB and sending to exodus wallet and then sending from that to purchase things what kind of record could be requested and how could I prove I have no crypto, showing cb and exodus balance.
if you're buying from CB you should be fine. they keep a record of transactions in your account history. even if you send to another wallet first (good practise) the blockchain is a double edged sword in that it's transparent so you can follow the trail until it's mixed with something like XRP. so long as you never cash back out to fiat currency, and make up a good excuse for the transactions, you have nothing to declare and should be fine

if you do larger value transactions, you can point to any expensive item in your home and say you bought it with the crypto. no crime in that. for smaller value, say you're playing a gacha style crypto game. they might think you're retarded, but that's ok. rule of thumb is unless it's the tax man asking questions, you say nothing. speaking is self incrimination. always good to be on the ball but also don't worry yourself about it to much 👍

just like everyone else here it's been a right pita to get an order in with fees as they are.
there's not an awful to be done about it but here's what I do to minimise them. head over to bitcoinfees.net and prepare to refresh the page numerous times a day. it has an easy to read chart of fees you need to set your transaction at to get your transaction confirmed in the time you want. Some wallet providers will automatically set the highest rate for you to get it confirmed while others let you set your own.
When you see a rate you're semi-comfortable with (it's still going to feel like a beat down) I recommend paying a little bit over what the chart suggests for whichever confirmation time you go for, this is just to hedge against small movements in the miner fees knocking your priority down before it's processed.
it's constantly changing but I typically find the fees to be lower in the early morning (UK) probably because all the Americans are asleep.
the more smaller amounts of btc you have in your wallet is going to cost you more than a single input transaction. likewise it's always going to be cheaper as a percentage of the tx to place a larger order than several smaller ones.

the more smaller amounts of btc you have in your wallet is going to cost you more than a single input transaction. likewise it's always going to be cheaper as a percentage of the tx to place a larger order than several smaller ones.

same here. better safe than sorry. I paid 160sat/vb on 400GBP which worked out at £19 fees. 2x that for total fees of about 10% on the initial amount. buying smaller would be practically unaffordable right now.
I tried to treat myself to a Q for this weekend, but messed up my transaxe payment. So, all in, my fees for £60 of bud are sitting at around £30 now with no bud in sight and patiently waiting for a transaxe refund. Pretty gutted. Can't justify even treating myself with things as they are now.
Paid £2.96 to buy GBP200 of BTC today and a fixed fee of BTC0.0002 to send a little less than GBP210.
So a total of £13.64 and it took less than 10 mins for Transaxe to receive payment.

feel you. nothing worse than handling bitcoin when it's so volitile and fees are sky high..lb needs to get their shit together and use another equally decentralised coin.
Just buying bitcoin to use on here is a bit perilous for me at these prices, I had a purchase on bittylicous take almost 2 hours to complete not long a go (usually takes minutes) and I was terrified the price would hit one of those sudden drops, suddenly a small drop can be a decent sum of money! Just ups the stress of buying, mo' money mo' problems for bitcoin I guess lmao it wont end well for most I don't think but as you say it's not what it was meant to be anyway and many have and will make money along the way.

I've been using a plenty vaporiser at max settings. The cooked bud comes out less dark than other vaporisers I've used before (still hits great). Any ideas of what I should do with this? do you think it has any thc value left in it?
My latest way of doing it smell free is by filling size 00 clear veg capsules and popping them at work ,quite nice and not to heavy ,started with 4

I managed to make about 200 caps with the vaped bud you see in the picture. Tossed a little extra virgin coconut oil at the end of each cap to help with absorption. Plus health benefits? possibly. I think I managed to get about .2-.3g in each cap with enough space left for the coconut oil. I find 10 caps puts me in a mellow place. I often use them to compliment the weed I'm smoking.

I've saved about 10g so far and been looking at what to do with it. Some people just eat it as is, I've no idea how they do this! I think the best thing to do is put it in coconut oil as people say it absorbs better than butter. Water curing before is also a good idea as it improves the taste and reduces the smell. Just watch out if the neighbors are a problem. I heard the abv farts stink to fuck :0

After getting to the point of drinking a dozen beers or 2 bottles of wine a day, every day, I thought I would give weed a shot. The main reason I haven't in the past is because of the legal issues, though I have always found it to be enjoyable when offered socially.
Littlebiggy definitely makes the experience of buying weed more reassuring. Looking at the product reviews makes it easy to get an idea of which vendors to trust.
Buying and trading with bitcoin can have a learning curve but with about an hour and some patience isn't too much of a roadblock. I highly recommend Coinbase and bank deposits to keep transaction fees to a minimum.

I placed a few more small orders like this over the following weeks and couldn't fault the buying experience or the quality of the weed. jj5637901 is definitely the way to go for smaller orders with the NDD (next day delivery) being included in the price.

Given the exchange fees are cheaper on coinbase (they are sky high on Revolut btw) this method makes more sense, and Revolut do not scrutinise the transfer of fiat like they do crypto.
Made this mistake first time and had questions about transaxe wallet.
When I got it back, I did as above and have made probably 10 transactions this way with zero issues.

I figured I could not deal with a 10 day account restriction every time whilst revolut questioned who I was sending to.
If you look on your coinbase app you will actually find that your account has a sort code and account number that you can deposit fiat currency into. You can do this as normal on your banking app as though you were paying a bill. You need your unique payment reference number as well which starts with CB.
This way you get better fees and do not get anybody asking questions when you move your crypto.
If you buy usdc on coinbase it is free too and you get free trades which you can use to convert to btc to save you the cb crypto purchase fee.

Sheesh was going to use Revolut if cb kept asking questions. Right now cb to own exodus is working for me.
revolut temporarily block my account every time but usually only for about an hour. then I can do the withdrawal. you should delete the disabled addresses from your account and use a new wallet address for withdrawing to (generate a new one from the official bitcoin wallet app) also though it costs more by withdrawing to your own wallet first, it's harder and less likely to be scrutinised than sending directly to a transaxe provided address.

The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this

Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one

Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).
100% but do you think you could watch them the other way round and it’s all still as good? As I really do, integrated them amazingly well.
Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.

I buy my bitcoin on Revolut, then transfer it to my exodus wallet to transfer it to lb. You do pay a wee bit extra in fees but gets around the 50 addresses thing. Exodus is a really easy app to get too👍 hope this helps

Yes, i do and the fees are low but you are only able to send to a number of 50 adresses / life. And when adding new adress to make payment to it you need to declare as yours otherwise they'll ask for more details about recipient!

Disagree strongly. I've had dozens of customers lose money to revolut and never get it back. Avoid it and avoid anyone telling you otherwise.

To feed this demand, bulk oil manufacturers seek out lower-quality weed, much of it contaminated, to buy at discounted rates.
To meet state screening limits, the extracted oils, or distillates, are blended to dilute pesticides.
One manufacturer who solicits farmers for “dirty” weed defended the practice, saying he provided struggling growers an income source while keeping otherwise unusable cannabis out of the landfill.
The amber-colored bulk oil moves on an opaque market, traded by brokers who operate without license or regulation. It is bought by manufacturers who sometimes will use oil from the same batches to fill thousands of vape cartridges for competing brands.

the shift from making quality goods that won't kill your customers whilst making an honest and fair profit, to making the lowest possible quality goods that barely pass regulations whilst making extortionate levels of profit happened so quickly in the past decade that it almost feels like it happened overnight
the exact same thing is happening with hash, vapes, edibles, flower, extracts on an impossibly large scale
the same can be said for every industry, fruit and veg is considerably lower quality now whilst being more expensive, same with all foods and drinks, same with clothes, shoes, electronics and appliances, cars, bikes, buildings, houses, everything you can imagine
considerably lower quality with a shamelessly inflated price, everywhere you look and we're all just going to bend over and accept it as the new normal because what is the alternative

This is why I am very wary of vaping chemically-processed black-market cannabis: without regulated quality control, fuck knows what chemicals I am huffing.
That said, it is concerning that the same problems are cropping up in legal products from the US. Vaping-related lung injuries are no joke.

People want cheap not realising it's all mass produced and the care and love that goes into our hand made items are in doubt :( The care and love that is needed for cannabis to stay a healing medicine is as essential as it is for our food to be grown organically and it is because of this lack of care that cannabis is making us sick instead of healing us like it should...organic cannabis is life changing and should only ever be sought after in that way :-)

Would this explain some frequent distillate hangovers next day after using 🤔 I try to stay clear of distillate. And stick with live resin and edibles and occasionally RSO more often now. What are others view's on vaping distillate 🤔. And do you feel sometimes groggy next day biggas? .

honestly i wouldn't touch jeeter's outside of US unless they're from a US vendor. they're by far the most faked cart, maybe just behind cookies carts. honestly not worth the risk id go with a 510 thread from a good seller on here

I’ve had to wait a long time for this order now I’ve received it. It just looks like clear piss not even golden. Is there a problem? Should it look like this? Does everybody else’s distillate from the doctor look like this? Please elaborate for me as he is very select when he messages me. Normally once in 24 hours around 1 pm. Any help would be much appreciated.
Clearer distillate is usually a sign of a higher quality/purity product used in the extraction processes, as far as I’m aware! If there’s terps mixed in that will effect the colour also. Have you tried it?

Hello, yeah colour varies batch to batch, from one of our suppliers it comes clearer and from the other it comes more golden, we have always stuck to the same 2 suppliers as both their quality has been consistently great for years - as far as im aware colour doesnt really affect quality necessarily it just depends on how its made. Some manufacturers put it through an extra process that makes it clearer, some dont. Some people say clearer is better, some people say the opposite but in our experience the quality from both suppliers is almost identical despite colour differences. It could also be down to how long ago it was produced before it got to us because the colour of distillate does usually darken over time due to heat and light exposure, but again, unless its extremely old or been stored incorrectly, it doesnt really affect quality :)
Mate, the stuff is having little to no effect it’s really thin and bubbles move through it quite easily!
It has 5% CDTs so will be a little thinner than pure distillate but still very thick and bubble still doesnt move in syringe unless in a very warm environment maybe. No effects though? Not sure how that can be its pretty strong stuff, I use our vapes daily.
The high from distillate can be a little 'empty' to more seasoned stoners/medicinal users who are used to the full spectrum of cannabinoids/terpenes in the cannabis plant (distillate is only thc, nothing else), thats why we also do the 50/50 live resin vape range to get closer to the smoking experience - we dont do 50/50 syringes but you could definitely make your own easy enough, lots of info online about DIY carts etc. I think you may prefer that kind of blend for vaping if the distillate isnt for you :)

My only hope is, can actually see a small bubble half way up. So presume its what dr distillate has mentioned about this batch been a clear distillate. Finally! I’m convinced it’s weaker, you know. Once you start having a smoke and it warms up the bubbles move through it really fast and small bubbles as well. I’d give it 6 out of 10 compared to the normal golden stuff. Been smoking my whole life no way this is the same standard. I’m not accepting it. Would like to know your thoughts when you’ve had a smoke.
I got two carts a few weeks ago (probably a month or two ago) that I thought were empty, because they were so clear. After taking a toke it quickly became apparent it was indeed full. I was concerned as I've not come across ones so clear before, but in terms of potency and flavour, they're exactly the same for me. I've been buying from these guys for must be over 2 years now and never had a problem.
I've been smoking weed for 21 years and have a very high tolerance, however I have an odd tolerance to vape carts (I get high from them rather easily and lose all brain function vs other people who have used my carts) so our experiences may well be different. It's safe to say I've never ever seen distillate so clear -- legit looked like sugar water, mine was far more clearer than yours. With all that said, I am not convinced it's any less potent, but that's just my experience and of course you may have a completely different batch. But yeah, the one time I've received the clear stuff (two different strains, two different carts) it has been the same as the golden stuff for me. But I'd prefer to just receive the golden stuff in future, just for the sake of keeping me sane haha. Hope you find the resolution you're looking for, good luck!

Even ordered some full spectrum gummies along with the disposable vape. And all those came the same flavour. I can live with that. But ill definitely be questioning this disposable vape. I've ordered D9 here many times and every time it's been great quality. The colour does vary batch to batch. I don't think I've had any quite that light coloured though to be fair, and the batch I currently have which I got this week looks darker. Hopefully you'll get a reply from the Dr.

I only order for me. I go through a bit as I'm a total pot head but not in bulk like you. The wall is a funny beast. I work with algorithms but I'm yet to figure out the logic of the lb wall. I often have popular topics disappear only to cycle round later. I'd be happy for someone to explain it to me also.

I've received both from the Dr (gold and clear) in bulk before and can say the quality is the same for me in terms of potency.
Google/Reddit/AI searches typically suggest clearer distillate is more refined and slightly purer.
It might just be that you need more of the weed compounds/terps for your tolerance to get the high you want. I switch between distillate and rso for this reason.

Time for A Deeper Game, Any Suggestions?
It's been awhile since I've had time for anything but casual games, anybody wanna suggest something I'm parti al to cool sci fi worlds.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend playing the Mass Effect trilogy. I know it's a bit old now but it still holds up and is pretty deep, especially the first game. And I'd agree with sidetracked and say Outer worlds is probably the best recent Sci FI rpg.
Haven’t ever tried Outer worlds but seen a little YouTube video of it. Looks an awesome game. Fallout 4 is quite a good game to loose some hours to, though it isn’t quite sci fi it has element of it through out.
Mass effect best enjoyed on PC as it doesnt work well with controller! Do it! P99 Everquest is deep enough to lose a lifetime too. Football Manager series too if you like that sort of thing. Diablo 2 ressurected ok i suppose, not sure id call it deep. Someone has a thread on WoW classic, so thats gonna be deep enough.

I really enjoyed Outer Worlds recently. It's a sci-fi action RPG with a really cool world to explore. It can get fairly challenging on the highest difficulty.
i think it was on steam just bought all the bio shock games 1+2 the remastered 1+2 and infinite less than £20
If you want a deeper story and plenty of hours play I would recommend Assassins Creed (I've just completed Origins which was good fun), and Red Dead 2 (No spoiler but there is a "Virus" story arc which kinda fits in with the times).

The Fallout franchise is hard to beat. Fallout 3, fallout New Vegas, fallout 4 , fallout 76. Bethesda creates the richest and most immersive worlds imo.
Currently playing new vegas at the moment played them for years only one I wasn't a fan off was 76 the story behind is really interesting
Civ 6, its even on Switch. Apart from that, I second Outer World's, Fallout, Elder Scrolls etc. If your a fan of old skool jrpgs like early Final Fantasy then I highly recommend the latest Dragon Quest.
I'd recommend journey to the savage planet, its light and funny but also an rpg/explorer, with mysteries and strange creatures about the place. It reminds of portal alot even though its not very similar, think i get the same kind of enjoyment from it.
Call of Cthulhu is a fun, dark game. It’s linear so you won’t log a million hours into it. Just twisted goodness!
If you are into JRPGs, please give Xenosaga 1-3 a try. The Gameplay gets better over time , the music and story are really something else. Still one if my favourite PlayStation 2 Series. I had a crush on KOS-MOS fir the longest time. After i finished the series i was in bitter-sweet gaming heaven.

outer world was a let down it just did not grab me at all and i love games like that (am still playing skyrim and fallout 4 atm)

Rust is the game that immerses me the most. Loads of farming, upkeep, pvp, survival. I’ve been hooked for a year and there’s not much sign of it letting up

No contest for me but understand if people got into him later. Slip Shady and Marshall Mathers LPs got me through some tough times! Low down and dirty on slim shady EP is one of my all time favourites. Really liked Relapse but nothing else had really grabbed me in last 15 years I’d say. Personal opinion!
I think Slim Shady LP is one of the best rap albums ever, but he lost me as a fan with that purple pills, dressing like michael jackson, bizarre rubbing his tummy in the video s##t!

Before quitting I was on almost 3ml of live resin carts a week mainly from Dr. Extracts, sensi smart and clean cart club.
I was high on carts 24/7 for 19 months and it took me 56 days to come negative in the urine test, I tested myself every week.
To put you in perspective I was a daily smoker for 18 years, then I stopped for 10 months then went to vaping dry herb for around 2 years, then another break of almost a year before I encountered carts. I felt in love of how discrete and strong they are, to the point that I didn't touch the herb anymore. It was a game changer and it helped me in many ways, went back to the gym and running and it helped to lose more than 20kg of weight.
At the end I knew my time with carts was up as it wasn't giving me any positive anymore so I quit overnight.
Fuck me, it's been horrible, depression and irritability like never before in my life, the gym and the running is what is saving me, but the sleep? I woke up countless times every night with cold sweats and shakes but the worst thing are the fucking nightmares. It's like living in a live terror film, my whole live is gone through this fucking nightmares. From seeing my pets being killed on front of me, to see how my two daughters drowned by my fault, to my partner being kicked to death in front of me too. And countless more.
If I share this it's only to warn those deep in to the fucking carts to be aware, everything has a price and I feel mine is being too little compared to what this shit may cause to other people. It isn't only THC on them, be sure of that.
I am and will always be a firm defender of the herb as medicine for the body and mind on its natural and organic state.

We truly believe that we need to get back to a place where we use the herb like a master medicine she is right up there with Ayahuasca etc. everyday use is disconnecting from yourself and your reality which is never good. We love that we don’t have to give up our meds but change them daily to suite what we need or sometimes also to have fun but everything in balance :) Good luck with it all ! You won’t regret it

Larger folk take longer to detox because of how THC interacts with lipids.

How do I use the plastic syringe used in dr distillate 3ml rso? It has what looks like a little black cap on it that doesn’t seem to come off. So I twist it harder? Do I cut the top of it off? Sorry for being daft… just don’t know! You can see it on the pic in the item description on their wall.

Potential bit of leakage that has stuck the cap on? Try putting it in a plastic bag and then submerge in hot water or quick blast with hair dryer, that should loosen it up.
I had 10ml come the other day and the cap was a little tricky to get off but just needs a bit of force. look at the grooves to make sure you're twisting in the right direction, and use a teatowel for better grip. If you're still having trouble and have some pliers use those, or failing that your teeth to get a grip on it. As said below, if it's leakage keeping it locked in place, apply some heat near the cap to soften it.

still fooked here. update: 3 hours later and its both marked as paid on transaxe and lb order page. others seem to slowly be doing the same but clearly a backlog.
to summarise: theres a long delay for any payment to show as paid even though its confirmed on the blockchain. when it does show as paid on transaxe, it takes more time for it to show as paid on the lb order page.

i got the payment page to load after waiting a while and sent the payment. confirmed on the network but still waiting for it to be seen as sent on lb/transaxe. hope its going to work

I feel so unlucky to be a Coinbase user during this time as it seems to have higher fees than any other judging by some of the quotes that I've heard people complaining about but that I'd be happy with in comparison. Finally gave in yesterday and bought a 0.5g cart with the btc I had planned to buy 2 full carts with just a week ago when fees were normal lol.
unless you're just timing it wrong with the time of day youre checking it does sound like coinbase are selectively screwing their customers somehow. fees are back to reasonable levels at the time of writing this. I stopped using coinbase after they asked for more documentation after already providing it all previously. imagine if your bank asked for that every year. clowns

26/04/2024 - if sending fees on coinbase are still high it's likely theyre choosing to screw you because the btc mining fees have came back down.
Instead of buying BTC from coinbase buy SOL which is far cheaper. Transfer the SOL to another wallet that can swap SOL to BTC. Then spend BTC on your orders so your only getting hit once on the BTC gas fees.
I bit the bullet at 15 quid on Wednesday. Just checked the fees the now and they're 20 quid. Friday 08:00

id recommend folks sending to their own wallet address first. you could get away with it sending directly to the order address but with them being a regulated bank and with the new regulations its possible they could check the btc address you're sending to and ask more questions. I would then remove the btc address from you revolut account after all the transactions are done to reduce the possibility of further checks. you can add another one when you need to.

Received an order today. Noticed it was really light and had been opened and resealed with labels. It was an empty box! Would the post office remove and still deliver package empty?! First time this has ever happened in all my orders from LB 😫😫😫

Sadly this sounds like blatant theft, it would have been better if it just came ripped open inside a sorry bag as it could of been done in MC or DO.. those thieves dont bother taping it back up for delivery. But the fact its re-sealed with labels shows a good sign of it being the postman, at the start of every shift they have to print off labels for customers who use the "bring me my label" option on RM, they all have postage labels in the van.

So the bitcoin situation has always been a bit irritating but I had a good setup and few issues over a couple of years. Then the UK Govt come along fuck me (and probably others) right over with their pain in the ass regulations. I just want to buy bitcoin to use as payment, don't care about investment.
But now I'm having transactions declined and even my card frozen which meant I couldn't get the bitcoin to pay for my order today which, as you can maybe tell, has proper pissed me off. Then I sign up for another app and was verified and all of that shit but i get the feeling that unless the get a sample of my blood and brain tissue they aint gona be satisfied.
I'm mainly wondering if others have had virtual walls put up and how they're getting around this? Even a reliable place/app to get bitcoin? I just can't tolerate this crap at all and I was in a good mood this morning! Now I want to take my anger out on random members of the public...guess i'll be needing that weed. Either that or I emigrate to Canada or Germany!

I avoid extra scrutiny by sending to my own wallet first before sending to a lb order, which in turn means 2x the btc fees. the usual hoops still apply though. occasionally they'll refuse a btc send before freezing the account to do whatever checks they have. majority do kyc compliance to avoid money laundering and expect this will only tighten over time.
i did something similar where I bought it on one app and sent it on another but that wasn't practical...then my bank stopped allowing transactions for bitcoin thru applepay. Then I got another account that did...and now they don't either...just feel they have no business telling me how to spend my money, especially considering i've never been in debt or anything. If other ppl are stupid enough to not know it's a risk then they deserve to lose their money frankly.

There are No KYC platforms out there, although they can be riskier, p2p is a good way to buy Bitcoin.
Santander bank and coinbase, there's a 3k limit a month.. then I send all my transactions to my own exodus wallet as its whitelisted on coinbase so I never have to pass any checks now, when fees were high around Christmas i sent directly to LB from coinbase and they withheld the transaction for hours

I have a nationwide bank account, I buy bitcoin on paybis which uses gpay linked to my bank account, transfer it to exodus. Not the cheapest, but hassle free.

Hey, yeah it was thru Monzo that my card kept getting frozen due to suspicious activity lol. Not sure why that was but hey it worked out. I sorted it by going direct to a crypto site I was already verified on, as it wasn't working thru the app for some reason, kept popping up with a thing saying the site wasn't available in my region when I tried to buy thru the app, which was exodus btw.

Personally, my SSRIs never caused any issues with weed, only psychedelics. Here's a useful chart
Just like weed itself, any drug affects people differently. Anti-depressants are no different. I always have the opinion of them being useless as all they do is numb what you are feeling rather than "getting rid" I guess is the best way of saying it. I was noticing myself feeling empty, not feeling sad nor happy, just nothing. I'd rather be miserable than that however in your instance it could help you a lot more than it does with me. I'd always say to only take them when you really feel it's needed. Don't try and stay on them for as long as you can and treat it like an "alternative" because you'll start having problems elsewhere before you know it.

You should speak to your doctor if they're not working for you as they might be able to switch you to something else. Weed is good at treating the symptoms but not the underlying cause.

I manage my depression through dopamine detoxes, natural supplements, meditation and other techniques so that I can smoke weed without antidepressants and it works pretty well for me.

We've been daily users of hash for 35 years and my wife has been medicated for 20 of these years, but has no issue getting high at all weather smoking vaping or edibles.
Her medication has changed a few times over the years but there been no effect on her high regardless of which med shes been on.
Really sorry to hear your meds effect you like this, and I'm only sharing my experiences to let you know its not a definite effect for everyone.

How long have you been on Nardil? most docs stopped prescribing MAOI's in the 1980's or are you in the US?
Indicas can exacerbate depression, as can sativas in certain circumstances. Advice like that should be avoided. Everyone is different and each strain can have a different effect on a different person. Consumption method is also relevant. Don't believe anything anyone tells you (including me), except for a qualified medical professional with experience in using THC for treating depression.

Think about fermented foods for the low immune system. Kefir, probiotic yoghurts, and stuff like kimchi or sauerkraut. A healthy microbiome will heavily increase your immune powers!

I doubt I'll use them for crypto again, I can't be doing with the worry..

I recommend not using a third party wallet I personally use Sparrow as it puts the Bitcoin in ur control and cannot be blocked by any third party a good alternative for mobile users is samurai wallet (android only)
My method it's to buy in Kraken, transfer to Exodus then out to LB, higher fees this way but in theory it's safer for me.
I do the same - had account restricted in the past twice now and it always comes back within a few hours. Might had to start sending to a personal wallet and then onto LB in future - its the fees that kill you with that method though - wish this place took ETH fat cheaper and quicker to send and receive funds I find.
Yeah I'll be looking for an alternative too. I'm a bit concerned as they initially restricted it at 7pm last night and said everything was cool, then restricted it again this morning.

Is anyone else getting really high network fees with exodus wallet and know of a way around them it’s charging nearly $25 to send any amount
Not on exodus but, i did my usual routine of buying the coins I needed for what I wanted, went to pay and said I had not got enough money available... £15 transaction fee! Chucked another £20 in and the fee went up to £24!

I made a order just now and it cost $9 in fees using trust wallet. It usually cost around $1-$2 so this price increase is staggering.
Exodus wallet is good but the fees are astronomical so I stopped using them a long time ago

Just had to pay £30 to get my orders through in the early hours (probably not the best time due to the US being awake tbh). But the price of bitcoin has been going up, so more people are investing again and network is congested. No way around it as far as I can see. Hopefully it will calm down again by the weekend,

BTC and Transaxe are both FUBAR. Decided to add more coin to my wallet to cover the ridiculous fees for a small order, which was annoying only to find it was more wasted money as Transaxe is down (07/12).
I said in another post I’ve held fire on any more purchases for the xmas period as I don’t want to tie up or waste in fees so much money.

I’ve done the same and held on until the fees have gone down just put my order in now for my Christmas stash cast as 4 bucks to send
I’ve not used LB for quite a while but just decided to buy a few vapes. Network fees on Coinbase are really high, sure it only used to be pennies

contacted my vendor and it seems to be the case for other of their customers today that payments are stuck on awaiting confirmation. likely a problem alongside the transaxe outage. the last time this happened it took a day for the order payment to show as confirmed. hope you have more luck. UPDATE: 6 confirmations later it shows as paid on lb/society. shoutout to dr.distillate who was going to send the order ahead anyway. class act and great vendor.

Im not sure if its a placebo but i usually paste my btc transaction into the free bitaccelerate.com in the hope it gets picked up quicker than the general queue. might be worth messaging the vendor if you've ordered from them before to.

mine confirmed on the 5th or 6th confirmation. a couple hours after ordering in-spite of it being confirmed once on the blockchain within 20mins. if mines anything to go by, it should confirm and update on littlebiggy/society soon.
3 confirmations now. The Dr. said he'd ship anyway so hopefully all's well with this transaction.
