I always feel like such a fuckin addict when i run out fir a few days… so far : scraped out all my grinders… stuck old carts down my ample cleavage to warm up the dregs ( always works! ) scraped my rolling tray for any kief… relit a couple of old tabbys from the ashtray ( man thats so bogging i know! ) soon to have an early night with some codeine to knock me out…
Im not drinking bongwater though!

Feel like shit until I get some more. I know each person gets there own thing from smoking pot but for me personally it just helps me blow off a little steam and keeps me level headed and if that makes me an addict or what ever so be it it I know it’s helped me countless times when I’ve been stressed or going through some shitty stuff in life and for that I’m forever grateful 😊

Tried to buy on Monday and Tuesday and sending fees were still too high :(( has anyone been able to send via Coinbase with reasonable fees?

Tried getting small order in today, bought £80 worth from CB, £3 or so to buy, fantastic i thought, we'll be smoking tomorrow i thought, then i went to send it to my own wallet i was quoted £20.
I'll buy a little more btc tonight and see how gas fees are then, thinking about trying to send in the early hours to see if that helps.

unless you're just timing it wrong with the time of day youre checking it does sound like coinbase are selectively screwing their customers somehow. fees are back to reasonable levels at the time of writing this. I stopped using coinbase after they asked for more documentation after already providing it all previously. imagine if your bank asked for that every year. clowns

26/04/2024 - if sending fees on coinbase are still high it's likely theyre choosing to screw you because the btc mining fees have came back down.

Instead of buying BTC from coinbase buy SOL which is far cheaper. Transfer the SOL to another wallet that can swap SOL to BTC. Then spend BTC on your orders so your only getting hit once on the BTC gas fees.

Does anyone else have bother sending bitcoin from coinbase wallet every so often for days it says something went wrong try again don't want to piss off vendors anyone else have this issue?

What does the wallet balance consist of? Is it a few small deposits, or one large one that you bought in one payment? The former can have ridiculous fees. Cost me $33 to send $70 the other night at 24sat/vB due to the large number of inputs, and that's the lowest I'd seen it for ages. I'd expect a 1 payment input transaction to be about $4ish at that gas fee. If you can set sending fees you can check the current fees on Mempool.space and potentially save loads. In the above example my wallet wanted to fund much higher and then it wouldn't let me send. Check your settings.

When the sat/vB had been much higher the day before they were quoting me gas fees of $120+ for the same $70 transaction. It's wild. That's all from a wallet entirely consisting of referral payments though so it's not really the norm. You shouldn't be paying anywhere near that if the fee is solely to fund gas fees for sending, not any purchase fees or whatever. Good luck! I can't imagine it'll get any better before 2-3am on Saturday morning.

Check you've got enough to send, I'm sure I had this before and it was because I was like a quid short to cover the fees. If your total to pay is £100 but it's £10 network and £10 send fee, you'd need to buy £120 of btc atleast to cover the transaction. As far as I'm aware...
