Hey anyone got any recommendations (UK vendor/product)? Looking for something that hits like a dab. I once had a stiizy disposable in California and it was beautiful, looking for something like that

I’m sure no one’s made any money in the past 16 days personally I'm losing money at this point its very demotivating must be the worst crash I’ve experienced on here profits totally wiped out.

Barely/not at all tbh... Long story short, as soon as anything above £100 hits the wallet I put it straight into USDT while I wait for the 4 year cycle to (hopefully) repeat so I can hopefully earn profit on something I sold a year beforehand. I didn't wanna be forced into being a gambler/crypto investor but I'll work with the cards I was dealt. I made a post about this exact topic earlier but it was written out of anger so I deleted it. My point, essentially, was that BTC has lost 20-23% of its value in the past 16 days and, like probably a lot of you, my profit margins don't have a lot of leeway, certainly not enough to be sustainable in this type of drop... I can only imagine how hard some of the bigger vendors work, and it's a shame because the bigger the vendor, the harder that 20% drop hits you. It stops making sense to put in so many hours every single day, as well as risking your freedom, to break even and, in some cases, lose money. In recent days I've been thinking a lot about whether it's even worth it to carry on here... I'll try my best to stick with the plan of bringing new products in and expanding, but it's hard, and if things get too bad I'm gonna have to go AWOL for a bit. Surely, with all the fees we pay and all the money generated by biggy, there HAS to be a better way for us to get paid, be it a "received and happy with order" button, a more stable crypto (USDT would be perfect, as already said by TSF) or lesser payout times for the consistently well-trusted vendors. I understand the anonymous nature of the payment system and why it is how it is, but, surely... SURELY... there's some way to make it better, especially if you start to think about the fees we pay and how much money this site could generate on any given week.

USDT is a good shout but as someone already stated it can be frozen and tbh I don’t think this site has the ability to change payment methods it’s been proposed before many times and no one listens.

BTC price shouldn’t be an issue if you’re doing things correctly. I don’t use my profits, I’ve been holding since 2019 now. One should make sure there in a good financial position so theres no need to ever have to use your crypto income. I buy all my bud and shake when not growing for cash and all BTC profits stay in my wallet. If you don’t need to withdraw funds then the price of BTC doesn’t really matter unless it’s an absolutely massive dump overnight of course. So yes it’s a 16 day hold with Transaxe and in that time crypto prices will and do change. However if you always hold then trust me when I say your funds plus more will be back soon enough. If you need to use your profits from LB then I understand the issue. So I recommend always having a nice stack of cash aside before thinking of being a vendor. All this saying you need to firmly believe in bitcoin if your going to hold and play the long game x

Don't cash out. That's when you've actually lost money. Easy to say, I know, but if you have cashflow that's not in BTC then use that until it recovers. A drop to 2/3 value in less than a week is a nightmare. Yet another situation where I shouldn't have bought and held in my wallet.

Let's not forget in the beginning of 2020 1 BTC was £4k! By the end of that year it went up to £20k, £40k etc! That's why fees were super high. Huge profits for anyone that was involved back then.

It's been a long time since I wrote a topic so I thought it was about time and I should explain my absence.
I'm Still Alive
Back in November I got covid/flu and got a bit of an infection afterwards with a few complications. I'm not a youngling anymore and I was a wee bit ill so I completely stopped smoking.
No More Tobacco
As I mixed tobacco into my joints it seemed to be a step forward to quit that anyway. The dull and grimey coloured packets themselves have long assured me in both photographic and boldly written formats that it's very bad stuff.
But THC is Good For Me
To keep cannabis flowing into my bloodstream I moved onto a mixture of edibles and dry herb vaping to see how I went with it. I'd planned to start smoking pure rolls once I'd recovered but I smoke surprisingly few of them even though my lungs are working again and I'm back to normal health.
I've sort of got used to the dry herb vaping. It took quite a while to fully adapt to it which is why I stopped doing the review write-ups. I quite like it now though.
Vaping For Pros
My dry herb vape is an X-max V3 pro. And like pretty much all products with the word 'pro' in the title it's unlikely to actually ever be used at any professional level.
I bought the glass mouthpiece for it which is much nicer than the standard plastic recorder-styled mouthpiece and I also bought a tube of horrifically overpriced dosing capsules. Both were recommended by an LB user so thanks to whoever that was. At the prices they charge for the capsules it was probably the Xmax CEO on LB. Multiple capsules are really essential for convenient heavy usage as I can stack them up preloaded and fire through them one at a time but honestly the price of them genuinely takes the piss.
Which Vape Do You Have?
I'm interested in other people's vaping equipment and experiences so please jump into the comments section. What do you use and why do you love it? I'd genuinely like to hear the opinions of LB weed vapers.
Mighty Plus
I was going to buy a Mighty Plus but I tried my mates regular Mighty out and my Xmax seemed better on flavour in a Pepsi challenge using Z-cube in both. A sidenote - the Z Cube from Green Cat was superb. It looked a bit scrappy, was a bit sticky, but flavour wise it was the full sweetshop of loveliness. I saved most of it for Christmas. The Mighty was an incredible device in the effective speed at which it turned cannabis into vapour. It was amazing really. But it didn't have me leaping to buy one.
Psychological Challenge
The other thing I didn't like as much was a psychological thing which I didn't expect but it was definitely a thing. The Xmax is sort of a bit cigaretty in shape and usage whereas the Mighty is less so. I find that familiarity in look and feel oddly comforting in terms of replacing smoking. However I did like the kick-arse heating element on the Mighty I must admit.
Superboof
This is the main reason I started writing this topic. As usual I've written an essay before even getting going. At least some things don't change.
I know there's a lot more orange fans on LB than orange buds generally so I like to share a good one when I know it's about.
The superboof strain is honestly one of my favourite buds of all time. Despite the changes in my weed absorption style, I can still tell this is a lovely example from The Wizard of Oz as soon as I open the bag.
Orange Promises
This boof is formed of dense nugs and you can immediately smell the orange heritage. The grinder confirms this as it unleashes orangey promises into the air.
Orange Clouds
In the vape the delicious orange flavours flow through in some nice thick cloudy vapour. That first initial hit of terps have the full dank dark orangeness I love. The stone is typically orange-like too in its double stage delivery.
At first it hits with a bit of energy. It's not panicky like a lemon haze but it definitely fires up your mind. The second stage about ten minutes later suddenly sedates it into a heavier chill.
Best of Both

Congratulations on ditching the dreaded tobacco, dry herb vaping is far better.
I used to smoke spliffs (with tobacco) then switched to pure joints and finally on to dry herb vaping.
My first vape was a Crafty+ & loved it but not the battery life, I finally upgraded to a Venty and absolutely love it. I vape 1 bowl every evening, getting through around 1.5g / week, the vapour that comes off the Venty is incredible, smooth, tasty & long lasting & I only need to charge it once every 4 - 5 days.
There's a good reason vapes are far better, lower temperatures means more cannabinoids & terpenes are consumed rather than being destroyed by 1000C+ temperatures at the end of a joint + of course no combustion means no nasty chemicals.
Enjoy your vaping journey, I'm sure, like me, you'll never go back.

Thanks man. The battery life sucks on the X-max but it is pretty small. It's always on charge. I'm still very much in two minds as to which vape I'll buy. I'll check out the venty though. I still go through a fair bit of weed so I'll get a fair amount of use out of whatever I end up buying.
I also have an Arizer XQ2 desktop vape (similar to the Volcano)
Doesn't get much use & only comes out with company but it's a beast of a vape, love the balloon & whip attachments.

Ive got 11 cigarettes and an 8th of flower to go then I will be joining the great Vape exodus. Want to have at least a week off before trying my new Mighty Plus (which is problematic...)
I definitely went through a lengthy period of change but I'm genuinely reaching for the vape pretty happily now. Rolling a proper smoke doesn't taste nearly as nice as it once did. Giving up the tobacco was intense though. I still get random cravings out the blue. Good luck with it man. Let me know how you get on.
I can vouch for the Venty. I used the Mighty for years and the Venty is a definite upgrade. I use a glass adapater that you can store in the freezer pre use for chilled vapour.
I also use the Venty. I've had it for almost a year now and my only advice is to not push the inner vent in to make more room for the dosing capsules as this will quickly gunk up your device and capsules after 6 days.
Once I stopped doing that, the venty only needs to be cleaned every half month or 3 weeks. Went from smoking joints and going through 0.8g a day minimum to 0.4g maximum with the venty.
Dry herbing has shown to be a money saver for me. High feels stronger too. Probably the most satisfying confident purchase I have made in a long time.

Thanks man. Stopping was easy when I was ill. Not starting again has definitely taken some willpower. I wasn't myself at all for a couple of months. Hard to know how much of that was recovery and how much was a lack of tobacco. Seem to be on the up now.

Hehehe - that sounds exactly like me. I didn't really quit, my lungs refused smoke for long enough to back me into the corner of re-evaluation. I'm at an age where it makes sense though so hopefully I'm on the up. I'm liking the dry herb vaping now though. Thanks man.
It’s definitely worth looking into Dynavap. But only with an induction heater. It’s a massive faff to use with a torch I found. The Yllvape version 1 is the one I have and it’s dead easy to use, won’t break the bank either.
I'd ruled it out because of the flame. In my hands that's a disaster waiting to happen. I'll check out a video later to understand the process a bit better on the Dyno as quite a few people have mentioned them. Thanks man.

I am a squishaholic at the moment I just keep pressing everything I grow or buy and I love rosin so I bought myself a puffco peak to hit the rosin in which is a great little device
I still use the xmax v3 mostly for hash and any darker rosin. I may be the one responsible for recommending the dosing caps, they may seem pricey but are well worth getting. I would also recommend the water adapter so you can put it through a bong, and the rattler or rocket stem mouthpiece with the glass beads for cooling ( promise I don't work for xmax🤣)

I have the tiny might 2, good vape imo and can hit like a train or provide a good session.
Ease of knock out and refill does mean that dosing caps aren’t really necessary. However I never smoke more than a bowl because 12 year break made me a lightweight, def not a problem as an 8th lasts me weeks despite daily usage!

I briefly had a lower tolerance after I was ill. I think I got most of it back over a single weekend where I cained everything I could that wasn't smoking. Although on day one of that I got so stoned I couldn't work out how to use my phone. Was really high man. Full cerebral stuff going on.
I started with a Crafty+, now got a Terpcicle and Solo 3. Since getting the Solo 3 I haven't touched another device, the Terpcicle is good bit a bit more of a pain in the arse having to use a torch.
I've looked at the solo 3. The only thing that threw me was that it didn't have dosing capsules which is a feature I like on the Xmax despite whining about the price. The solo though ticks a lot of boxes for me. How do you find refilling it?

Looking back at using the dosing caps with the Crafty+ they were a pain in the arse. So much easier with the solo and cleaning is much easier.
I have the same xmax however I'm always using the dynavap. Much more enjoyable although Xmax is good for out and about. I also have the water pipe for when I feel like treating myself. Green cat is legendary.

I'll check out the Dyno. I definitely need more than one device anyway in case I have a problem. When I bought the Xmax I just wanted to try vaping. Now I'm a full time vaper I'm willing to spend out on something as I'll use it all the time.

I've had love lovely bits from Twoz previously. I'm going to buy more of the superboof too. Their d9 & RSO has always been super strong. I had some d9 a while back and had to adjust my cookie dosage as the first lot blew my head off.

I had a VB cart lined up to buy but it was out of stock by the time I put my order through. I've got a 510 pen thing and have a 50/50 live resin / d9 cart at the moment. It's pretty handy while out and about but definitely has a synthetic taste to it. I'll pick up a new cart when VB have them again. I'm still deciding which dry herb vape to buy as an upgrade to my xmax. Probably will be an Arizer Solo 2 or Solo 3.
Vape boutiques carts are like breathing in a fresh bud, exquisite. The dynavap is brilliant cus you essentially vape a whole Xmas bowl (or less) in one puff, so much closer so smoking hit wise. But still full flavour and pure vape.
I looked at Dyno. You have to use a torch to heat it? It sounds like the sort of thing I'll start a fire with!
Small single jet flame lighter or bigger. I use an induction heater - see link, and never looked back. Torch ok for out and about, etc. and once over the learning curve is absolutely fine but the IH is just a smoother hit and less faff (less cleaning too), although too bulky for out and about.
1-3 flavourful hits and done. I would say more flavour and less inhaling required over the xmax (I have one as well) but I mainly use a Tinymight, about 3 years in and is still my favourite. The hit and flavour is simply lovely.

You can get an induction heater pack but I've never used one. Been using same chef blow torch for past 5 years. The only accident has been when my mate came round and I heated it for him and then he put the hot end in his mouth 🤯 I thought it seemed like faff until I got one, never looked back! That same device is still as good as the day I bought it.

One of the best (and most underrated) is Mystro/Mysdiggi in my opinion. It's so hard to say who I think is the absolute best because there's so many UK rappers who've mastered their craft (a lot have been mentioned in this topic), but Mysdiggi is criminally underrated and I always share his music where possible. He's got that REAL hip hop sound and he's a lyrical mastermind!

I’m struggling to understand the differences between the different carts. I want the cleanest safest vape, not interested in taste or clouds. I understand that shatter, resin and distillate are made in different ways… but which is best.. safe and potent?
Cleanest /safest would be through Sayno2drugs. They're the only vendor that sells genuine dispensary grade carts. What I mean by that, is in order to be sold in dispensaries, they must go through thorough testing via official labs in the US.
I haven’t tried the shatter yet. but i’ve tried 100% D9, 100% live resin and 50/50. My personal favourite for safety mixed with potency is the 50/50. gives me a strong hit from the d9 and then a very nice body and head high from resin. it’s a nice smooth slow start but comes on heavy later. live resin and the 50/50 is closer to real bud and d9 is the more potent thc concentrated part. so overall, with the prices 50/50 is the fav, cheap safe, tasty and great high.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas! Ive decided to transition from burning weed to a dry herb vape. Does anyone have any advice on the best brand to buy/anything i should be aware of? All advice is appreciated!
ive had lots of vapes over the years (dont cheap out) and I have to say the best for me is a mighty or a volcano both German makes.
It depends on how you want to use it.
I like to sip on my vape for gentle, long lasting hits, for me the Crafty+ was great but have since upgraded to a Venty which is the best vape I've ever bought.
If you're looking for big hard hits, something like a Tiny Might 2 is a great portable device.
I also own an Arizer XQ2 desktop vape, doesn't come out very often but it's a beast of a vape. A Volcano is also a great option.

Plump for a Mighty and you just won't go wrong. I have that plus a Venty, a TM2 a Dynavap, an Arizer plus god knows what else gathering dust on The Shelf (VAS or 'Vape Acquisition Syndrome' is a very real

Dynavap saves money on weed and will last a lifetime, i own many vapes and always go back to this one.

I’ve had a mighty, a mighty+ and now I’m on a S&B Venty. They are very expensive but by far the best. If I was to choose again I would go for the mighty +

It’s not cheap but the TinyMight 2 hits like a train. It’s more of a ripper than a sipper though.
Not sure how old this posting is but +1 on the volcano. It's the only dry vape I've ever gotten where I've managed to stick to it consistently without relapsing
You can also get loads of attachments for it to improve the user experience, ie. I got a bubbler and connector so I can water filter the smoke coming from it. I'd also recommend FB marketplace as there's loads of people selling second hand at a bargain

I have second Mighty S&B in 10 years. Also for fun with old friends i bought Volcano Hybrid. They are really polite and responsible when you are handling a complaint with manufacturer.

Don’t waste your time, money or patience on those overpriced dodgy dry herb vapes. If you want a better high without tobacco go for live resin carts, it’s the closest thing. Otherwise make your own edibles, brownies are easy to make. Trust me on this. I spent lots of money and time on those dry herb vapes, wasting a lot of weed trying to find a way to minimise that awful tickle cough they all produce, water bongs connected etc, without success. Would then be on here convincing myself and others dry herb vapes were the way forward because I had to find a way to justify all the money, weed and time I had wasted on it….but that’s just my experience and opinion…:)

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

I absolutely love blue cheese. So tasty and so strong. I used to get an oz every week off my plug back in the day. Couldn't get enough of it. Got it recently in the dam too at Greenhouse effect. Was just like how I remembered it.

There was a grower that was producing the strongest WW ever. It’s the closest weed I’ve had that when smoked could be mistaken for isolator.

i was going to the dam around that time and also had some of the LA confidential it was crazy strong and very dank tasting. it was one of the best we tried that trip, those grey mist crystals from grey area were something else too!

Grey Area had an incredible cut of some Kuchi OG Kush X OG Cheese about ten years ago that was just incredible, Area 41 Alien Labs another banger not a big lemon fan but a beautiful mix of Citrus and pure gas, of course the early batches of Blue Zushi deserve a mention too.

Northern lights terpenes are locked in my mind from 30 years ago. Bizarre how our minds can recreate that smell.
I'm a big fan of mimosa. First time I had that and sluricane I was quite pleased (they were nice examples). I think my all time favourite may have been a blue cheese amnesia cross, had it around Xmas time like 12 years ago. Point in time/context definitely has huge impact on decision. I once grew some purple punch (outdoor auto flower) only got like a Q of decent bud, after few months curing was lovely, that fact I grew it made it better than it was to me.

I have found that it's more to do with phenotypes and how they are grown. I've sampled different grows of the same strain and found the effects to differ with each one. Some of these grows have been some of the nicest in effects and then others of the same strain completely lack what was so nice about them.
Mine is probably some jungle cake, Mac or boss og, all of them I got from here. Such great strains. Even chemdawg and uk cheese are up there too.

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them
It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes 🤷🏻♂️.
Amnesia haze almost always gets me to a place of euphoria that's unmatched by other strains. Would love to find a strain that's more euphoric but out of the roughly 20 strains I've tried so far nothing has been more uplifting than ami.

Tried super silver once but wasn't fussed. Maybe a poor example of it. Not tried jack herer yet but will probably in the future. I do like to try out the old classics 👍
As far as dominant sativa’s goes,I’ve always had a smile when bopping home with a bit of Amnesia in my sky.
I'd go with either MAC by citizen stash or wedding crasher by BLKMRT both outstanding. I also had a bit of alien sin mint cookies by BLKT, I kid you not the bud was bluish instead of purple, all these strains were from a couple years ago when I was living in Canada.

It's a shame but l seems fair at the moment. Alot of over priced old weed being knocked out. Replacements even tho the original product still available. Smalls being sold at high prices as new stock that are dry and not even mid level. Paying for sndd but it's 50/50 in most cases. I smoke alot I buy alot so I guess hits will be taken along the journey however I've been on here a while and the above is happening a fair bit. I've been sent absolute garbage recently and even when sending a decent message over to the vendors, each time I get absolute and complete denial. Can't help ya mate as the other scores are 10....yes they are 10 but from the same person ! Oh seems he only has 5 purchase in total all from you it seems. As soon as a.dispute was mentioned oh yes now we can help.. yes it was smalls yes it was wrongly priced. Seriously I can't be arsed with that. Paid £250 for an Oz of non terpy dry less than mid weed. Mmm now into the good to save you some hassle if you are reading a needing pointing in the direction of reliable vendors I would recommend:

Great list. I was only saying this a few days ago, why do some people all of a sudden think they can rip everyone off, and the amount of tens for sub par product is unreal and unreliable

But I'm 5 years into lb and honestly the above folks will have you stoned ! 😂 RS54 from dopey is my weed of the year so far. Obviously there are many other good vendors but I've not got round to trying yet. I will do I am sure.

You kind of still can get an Oz for $190 but I would say the quality could be an issue. That's £150, 12% lb fees etc then a profit needs to be made. If you can go in at £190 about $250 you will be all good man. Trust

Also, a trick a friend showed me is when you or someone else has gotten too high and are freaking out, you put on aquarium or ocean clips and they chill out watching the fish. Mindless, calming and a great distraction

Just wondering if anyone has issues using this vendor? I put in an order on Monday morning well before his cut off of 3pm and paid for sndd. Item was marked as sent at 7.20pm that evening. I messaged asking if my item was being sent that day and got no reply. Today nothing came and despite several messages inquiring about my order I seem to be getting ignored. The vendor last used messenger recently yet my messages lay unseen. It's so frustrating. In the three years I have used LB I have never had this happen. I was kinda relying on this today 🫤

Always been using GC since i been here, never ever had a problem, i agree comms might be abit slow but it always lands regardless, also royal mail has been having major issues atm also so most NDD take a day or 2 to arrive. So mostlikely you shall receive it by tomorrow.

honestly i generally expect an answer same day; Its either a business or a hobby; I prefer to deal with people who treat it as a business. But once you deal with people a few times; you get to understand the way they operate.
If a vendor states what Thier response time I'd go by that, otherwise like 2 days. If a vendor goes on holiday/away would be ideal if they put it in Thier bio. It's annoying the topic threads are not timestamped.

I get that. No worries. I don’t know what an acceptable time would be but I have always had my messages replied to within an hour or so in my experience here. I’m not saying this should be the timescale but when it gets to the evening of the next day and still nothing… I failed to appreciate that you are likely quite busy. So apologies for my reaction. Not tried the dawg so may get that as a side, think it will be the strawberry one for me today (ordering ATM). The Skywalker is lovely, I still have a tiny bit from ages ago. Also got the OZK and some other previous orders mixed up. I get a new one when theres like 2 g left and then focus on consuming the new one leaving a mix of nice little buds.

No mate, these are drug dealers, what they do is deliberately break the law so they don't have to follow any societal rules or get a job. They're knowingly taking a massive risk to do what they do and it's by their own choice. They're drug dealers. They sell drugs. You can't expect anything from them other than hopefully getting drugs at some point. And if you were to approach one of these drug dealers in real life and complain about not getting your drugs at the exact second you want them, you're gonna get shanked.

I think every vendor has delayed problems sometimes so I just order in advance now.
I think he's not replying quickly because he's probably busy with life.

Royal Mail is shite at the moment, I have a few mates who use LB who've had delays over the last 2/3 weeks or so with different vendors.
RM posted something to an entirely different address for me yesterday, thankfully it wasn't LB related.

Yeah. Maybe the vendor should say delays are likely or something. Just when you opt for SNDD you kinda have to know what’s going on as it won’t be posted through the letterbox if nobody is there to accept it. I wasted my day yesterday waiting for the postman. And today I’m none the wiser as I had no reply after being asked for my details to follow up on my order…
Green Cat is by far one of the very best vendors around. Reliable, safe, mega value for money, decent comms. Had 30 plus orders the last 12 months not one problem.
Green cat 19/20 times has been next day delivery absolutely faultless, I find even with the best of vendors sometimes things out of their control does happen every now and again.

It's not Amazon and GC is taking a risk, so I give some leeway. But its good practice for vendors to manage people's expectations via their bio/topics.

I’ve also taken plenty of DMT, first time 1992 but I absolutely do not believe in god, seen plenty of elves and alike but never him/her/it. The fact we’ve taken lots of DMT doesn’t give us the right to preach to those that haven’t and that they couldn’t possibly understand what we can, comes across as a bit arrogant mate.

How to stop side burn
Don't use tobacco. Even grind. Tap it down, but not too much.

Was just wondering how do people prevent and what solutions do people do when it comes to sideburn?
Occasional loose pocket (happens occasional 😬) on the roll and just damp down heavier en it 👍

jar your weed with 62% humidity packs, if you do backy and weed that should be enough providing you grind the weed. Make sure you tap down the joint propery to compact and remove loose parts of the joint.
I have noticed that topping down the joint results in a harder pull!
I like my joints a little more airy to allow flow. This is has resulted in tapping the joint and then running my fingers up the joint to loosen it back out a little bit

fair one, i dont mind a hard pull. the looseness is probaby the root cause of most of you problem with the side burning, id imagine best in your case if your bacy and weed, maybe try layering it a little. Good luck!

Mix.your backy and herb in the grinder lid or in a small ramekin or bowl before rolling and then you should find this happening a lot less, also 'tapping' the doobie to organise the contents will slightly shorten the j but also help prevent this
Imo, if its packed correctly I never get sideburn.
Note if your mixing with baccie though. Do a smaller layer of baccie first, layer the weed, then another small layer of bacci on top. That solved any side burn issues I had when I smoked mixes

Exactly as Zapgaz says - little dab of saliva just at the head of the fast burn. Also, turn the bifter so the slow burning bit is at the top. I'm the habit of doing both of these without really thinking about it every few draws just to maintain an even burn.
Yeah so I find putting the slow burning bit at the top so it over hangs burns off. I just although scientifically heat rises and show it should sort the side burn out if the heat is rising into it!

My method is that I don't roll the spliff tight, it's more that I roll a perfect cone that the weed sits in. Then several hard taps on the table. I lose a centimetre from the top of the spliff, but I can't remember the last time I had side burn. I also use actitube charcoal filters, so never get roach ick, and it's a smoother smoke.

Really good weed doesn't sideburn if all the different factors are lined up. It has to be not to dry,definitely not still damp or quicky cured and, in my largely overrated opinion, picked apart by fingers not ground down by a grinder. Grinders dust up your weed to much and it burns at a slower speed. When you pick it into its natural bits n bobs it seems to burn way better. Maybe it's just me. We all have our little rituals 😶🌫️
I only ever had a problem with it when I bought poor quality weed. I think it comes down to being good at rolling and having good weed.
I do layers, especially with hash. For hash, I'll do a layer of tobacco and middle layer of hash and then a bit more tobacco so the hash is in the middle of the joint.

Baked last weekend with time to kill, decided to top it off by popping an edible or two and started re-reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Well... Suffice to say that I'm still thinking about it.
Metro 2033 was an interesting read while stoned, as was World War Z, I am legend, The Road, and the brilliant Children Of Men.
I will say, though, that reading Rosemary's Baby high left a very strange feeling in my heart. Like I truly have no idea what's happening just next door from me.

- mason & dixon, by thomas pynchon. possibly my favourite novel, and i recently finished a fourth or fifth reading of it.
- ways of being, by james bridle. fascinating book about AI, climate change, computing, and how we humans relate to (or fail to relate to) the non-human world.

Pretty sure that he would write a lot of his work completely high to help him get into the characters' heads...and then edit it sober. Which isn't a bad process. It's probably how he came up with a guy who's have sex when a missile falls, so they use his erection as an early warning system ;). Also a long, phantasmagorical trip down a toilet.

Might be a bit late to the thread but ragdoll by daniel cole is a book i wish i could read for the first time again, crime drama/detective fic, highly recommend. They turned it into a tv series too, which i havent seen yet so cant say if its as good as the book.

Hi there, I fulfilled a life goal (sadly it took a spine injury which is why I smoke so much lol) by collecting and reading every single Terry Pratchett book, namely the Discworld series, in order ofc lol. Described Like Lord of the Rings, but with comedy.

I'm just looking for a bit of advice please biggaz and vendors if anyone can help would be much appreciated. Due to a change in circumstances I'll be moving into a new place soon and unfortunately I'm not going to be able to hotbox it like I can now so I need to be a bit more discreet and get a vape. I've tried a couple of puffs on distillate ones in the past that didn't smell of weed at all and did the job but after doing some research I would prefer live resin than distillate. Does anyone know if there's any live resin carts you can smoke in public and people won't give you any dodgy looks? If such a thing exists would be great if someone can point me in the right direction. Cheers

Love live resin. Want to try some rosin!
I had the same issue for a while mate. I find vapes from KidCartiUk are pretty good. They do give off a whiff but it dissipates after a few minutes, incense or the like and a cracked window would definitely help.
Or if you're like me and vape nicotine as well, the smell of most fruity juices masks the smell of the weed so i alternate. Hope this helps!

Live resin is full spectrum so you're gonna have all the terps in there giving off a stank. That being said, the smell dissipates quite fast though especially if you're out in the open

Yes, would be for when at home. How long would you say the smell would linger for if smoked indoors? If it's only a few minutes I could always burn some incense sticks to mask the smell for a bit. I just don't want the smell lingering around for ages and stinking the whole place out.
You'll be fine I reckon. Try some 50/50 live resin/distillate carts from Dr distillate they're a bit less pungent and hit the spot
Also highly recommend you get a sloofy if you wanna be thorough, they're essentially carbon filters you exhale into and they honestly do bits

Search the sativas on leafly app, pick a few you like the sound of then copy the search to lb.. see who's got what or similar... but green cat always has some good clean sativa leaning strains as does the green team.

Green cat is top notch and has great selection. Sativa/indica is a bit of a misconception, was caused by two different people seeing the plants in different environments a long time ago and calling them two different things. If your looking for something to rattle your brain just go for highest THC (I ask chatgpt to help me choose between strains). Correct me if im wrong but ive always believed that the difference between indica and sativa effects was down to the terpenes ,not THC strength,For example limonene will have an uplifting effect and be energising ,as will pinene, that also increases alertness,where as myrcene will have a sedative effect and will cause couchlock as will linalool.If your looking for a "Wide awake" weed then shop around for strains containing pinene , limonene and other energy enhancing terpenes Hazes for example will give you that "pick me up effect" fantastic for daytime use,I hope this helps ,enjoy the sunshine X

Here in Ireland my brother got caught after smoking and he got 4 years off the road then two weeks after the 1st time being caught he was caught again and now he is off the road for 9 years..i know he was a fool for getting caught the second time but I have a mate that got caught drink driving and only got 2 and a half years and he could barely stand up..

I've heard about the mouthwash thing, but don't want to be the one to test the theory - also Listerine contains alcohol so you might fail a breathalyzer for no reason. What's more worrying is that I've heard rumours you can fail a test for up to a week after toking which is crazy and incredibly unfair.
Hopefully someone will be able to get hold of the test, and experiment with it to see what the limits are. I can understand why they don't want people driving when they're stoned out of their mind, but I don't think there's a herb on the planet that stones you for 2 - 3 days.

First off they do a roadside test, which is a load of rubbish as they stopped my pal while he was smoking a joint in the car, came back negative my other mate hadn’t smoked anything but tested positive, they then arrest you and take you back for bloods, the problem is if you’re an animal your bloods going to be through the roof, best thing to do is become a medical patient failing that a trip to the dr to tell them how frightened you are of needles, get you out of them taking blood real quick and if you spend wisely on the right lawyer you’ll buss case easy peasy lemon squeezy
the laws are pathetic it angers me that something that actually helps people is against the law and alcohol that kills and causes nothing but damage to your liver is legal pathetic
Most of the time when people are caught smoking weed and driving it is because they are stinking of it and dont know they are,the cops will not pull out the drug test unless they smell it (think its like £30 a go for the tests),so my advice is dont smoke weed in your car and if you have been smoking weed and plan to go out in your car then wash your face and hands,spray yourself with some deodorant and most importantly brush your teeth.

I dont drive- so can smoke to my hearts content- but cannabis stays in your system for a long time- up to 2 months if youre a regular/ heavy smoker. One of reasons crack and heroin are so popular in prison- they leave your system after 3-4 days

My mate got caught, they put him in a room full of detectors that identified the problem cannabis. He woke up the next morning inside a Tardis in a field in Scotland in his socks.

Shame your not a medical patient it’s now legal to drive if having smoked if your a medical patient, I have ADHD and that qualifies me to be prescribed up to 80 grams a month I can carry it anywhere cat even on planes, I can drive and have smoked as long as I’m not impaired which I never am really mad tolerance and I’m all good, just need that GP record to have at least one thing on there that qualifies with the clinics and have tried 2 medication’s for that diagnosis, check alternaleaf that’s who I’m with £10 a month and I’m legal, I have a 3 monthly appointment with a shrink all video calls and then every month order up to 80 grams of flower of what ever they have available your paying between £50 and £120 for 10g it all comes in 10g pots just depends how much you can afford but it good to be just legal, I buy some from my medical and some from else where ever but always carry my prescriptions with me then I’m all good

I really would try it, so here’s the thing I only tried essentially one medication buy different brands but it’s essentially the same stuff just differ is MG content but it’s all methanphetamines so the 2 medication can class as just a different size I had 18mg 30mg 50mg through the years and they was like yep you qualify for medical weed, thay want patients it’s a business man so they won’t refuse unless there nothing wrong with you. I also have insomnia and sm prescribed melatonin but just my adhd and the meds I tried was enough to qualify
Check out a product called keltic mist,its made in ireland by a doctor and you spray it on tongue before the saliva test and it will read negative,guy called medincine man sells it,havnt tried it but think i will buy one just incase,it comes with a test so u can try it so hopfully it works 😎
Remember on the forms there was something on about it whether the person in custody had used mouth wash, best advice is if you smoke. Brush your teeth and use mouthwash before you leave your gaff, and don’t drive like a cunt that normally helps

How Our Reality May Be a Sum of All Possible Realities
For a particle traveling through space, the amplitudes of more or less straight paths all point essentially in the same direction, amplifying each other. But the amplitudes of winding paths point every which way, so these paths work against each other. This is something I've pondered. My theory is our brains are quantum computers that decipher the universe. Let's not forget how our observation and perception actually changes the make up of the universe. We know that energy/matter are interchangeable and that particles can behave as waves. Diagrams of particles are shown as circles, these are spheres of probability - where we think the particles may be. We know that what we perceive as solid physical matter is 90% empty space. Therefore, our brain instantly calculated the average location of every particle in a structure to perceive it. This could be in an infinite number of ways so we see one version of infinite.

Orange Fetish
It's no secret that I have a wee thing for orange flavours and also for Green Cat. So when GC added a Mimosa Punch to the menu I was all over it. What a perfect combination of vendor and product. I'll probably be smoking it all month now as I bought extra.
So what's it like?
Mmmmm... It's bloody lovely and orange that's what it's like. It's got a very old school orange flavour. There's hints of other vintage strains in the smell. It's almost a bit northern lights, a hint of skunk, but mostly it's a lovely deep citrus orange.
Stamp of Approval
It gets my orange stamp of approval. It smokes lovely and is definitely very pleasantly orange. The main stone is nicely delayed and kicks in late. It's not a massively heavy hitter but it's getting me pretty stoned so I imagine it'll work out for many other LB folks. I've just hammered two fatties on the bounce and have a little face sweat and will be super happy to eat dinner soon.
Genetics
Mimosa Punch is a cross of Mimosa and Orange Punch. Basically it's double orange and I suppose double punch too as Mimosa has purple punch parentage. Both strains have a link back the original old orange bud. It's the perfect orange storm.
I Reckon You'll Like It
In short, if you like a bit of orange then jump on the GC train and get yourself some Mimosa Punch. I'm pretty sure you'll like it. Orange fans may also like the Forbidden Fruit too which I have bought too but I've not smoked yet as I'm Mimosaring my way through the evening.

Evening BigRoo, As someone who has never tried orange strains, How would you say the stone is? I've had a couple of bits from GC before and have all been absolutely top notch, I may order the Mimosa Punch next.
Generally a good orange bud stone will be a fairly gentle hit to start but with a much more solid but delayed follow up hit. So you have a bit of a high first but then a heavier stone sneaks up and kicks in. That's the sign of good orange genes. The Mimosa Punch is a really decent stone but not a massively heavy hitter. I've got several strains at the min and am only smoking the mimosa though. I've got a melonade I've not even opened. That says a lot.
I am vaping away on the Melonade right now, I rate it highly (though I don't carry much weight around here), And I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on it. Though I am new I have read most of your reviews and have been toking a little while now before I found LB.
The melonade is lovely. A fruity twisted diesel flavour. It's a good strength with thick smoke. I like it.
A sentiment I echo, it's packed with flavour and goes nicely in the Volcano too. Just curious, and I'm not getting preachy (You do you man), but have you ever tried a DHV? Not cheap shit, a good one? I haven't smoked for years and struggle with a good old joint. I understand the "cleaner" stone might not be everyone's cup of tea, I'll be honest, it took a while to get used to.
I've got an Xmax which is alright for my occasional vaping. My mates got the mighty which is excellent but I think he probably goes through more weed. Every so often I quit spliffs and use my vape and also my dab pen. I always go back to smoking joints. I miss the slow burn chill of a simple joint. If you've not tried extracts through some sort of dab rig or pen then that's a pretty good experience. They go a long way in a pen too.
I may also own a Proxy for extracts. I'm glad you've done what a lot of my friends have done, which is try a DHV. I feel as though cannabis is a journey for some of us and it is all about trying new experiences.
I'll dig a bit out tomorrow and have it as my first one. My review now would just be "it's not orange" as I've already started on the Mimosa.

Skywalker OG is one of my favourites when you get the really blue tasting versions. I had pink certz smalls which was probably the best bargain bit I've had on LB. Really lovely smoke that.

The druids are a small grower that produce really old school natural buds with tons of flavour once per season. Their latest batch went live and sold a couple of strains out straight away. I'm not surprised. It's really nice weed - and very different to the commercially grown furry pebbles we're more used to. I've not had any of this recent lot so can't say how it is but I expect it's lovely. Worth keeping on your radar. Linked to their profile.

Snap it up while it's there if you've got the coins. So long as you're expecting a more wispy natural grow with lots of old school flavour notes I think you'll be happy with it. I can see why they sell out fast as it's a lot different to most commercial buds here - aside from a few other small growers - so is a standout product. Damn it I want some too now...
I've over spent early though so am committed to an orange month. I've got last bit of jungle juice, forbidden fruit and double helping of mimosa. The druids are due a new crop sometime soon so will be a shame if I miss out through cash flow thoughtlessness.

Well the druids landed today, I must say it's impeccable service from these guys...when I message to change my order I had an immediate reply. Never had that happen on LB before.
The bud, they really do stink, both have a skunky edge to the smell. I've only tried the Foster so far...so glad I changed my order! Sticky icky buds, light in weight and take a bit of grinding coz of the stickiness..smells so good tho...even though I think that grinding buds knocks the flavour/ taste ..a discussion for another day that. Still it tastes divine, and a quick draw on the blunt before lighting takes you back 30 odd years , beautiful taste. Smokes and burns clean,no harshness at all . The high hits fairly quick In the eyes but the head takes a little longer but it keeps coming and coming....I has my first blunt around lunchtime, 12ish...had another about 2ish and still felt stoned when I had tea at 6 ish ..never touched anything else til after tea. Bloody lovely.
If you can, grab some mate ...you won't regret it.

That's the druids experience! Top vendor. I felt just the same when I got my first order. Took me back to early Dam days.
Apologies for the delay... Wham boom, another beautiful smelling offering from Druids.... sweeter smelling bud this, definitely get vanilla and a bit nutty too but my nose isn't the best! Again sticky buds, a bit denser than the foster too. Smokes super clean and smooth, can taste the vanilla aswell on the inhale a bit ...slightly spicy exhale, not unpleasant at all. The hit comes on pretty quick to the head, quite uplifting straight away...then after 20min ish the body starts to catch up and everything starts to relax. All in all pretty well balanced imo.
Again I have no hesitation in recommending it...but if you have to pick one I'd go for the foster...so happy I changed my mind and got some of both.

Damnit. Feel like I missed out. Druids always pop out unusual strains grown to perfection. Am jealous. I can't justify ordering though as got a few bits left still. I'm smoking the blue lemon from GC at the min. Was silly cheap but is actually pretty nice to smoke and tastes much as the name suggests. I've got some RS11 for later on. One of my favourite strains. Seems to taste of something different each puff. I've still got some mimosa tucked away. Will go back to it once I'm desensitised to the orangeness.
GC has had quite a few nice cheap bits lately . Never tried the blue lemon tho.

Thanks man for your kind words. I had the mimosa punch from MJ too which was lovely. This is a bit different to that, the buds don't have those dark little leafy bits like on the MJ version so it's not as pretty. But it's a stinky old school flavoured double orange bud to smoke for sure. Price is cheap too.

Hey man, I've just turned 56 and still going strong. I've been growing for nearly 30 years, am still at it and provide clones for local growers. I've also lived and worked in Amsterdam.
For me the most noticeable change is the legalization in America. I used to pride myself with keeping up with the latest genetics when most seedbanks were Dutch. This is now impossible with the explosion in the US, albeit for the better as the choice of seeds/genetics is staggering now.
With regard to smoking, since I found LB in 2021 it's been a game changer for me. I've always provided myself with excellent weed and hash (I'm a dry sifter) but the choice of cannabis products available now is just fantastic.
Cannabis has been my favourite subject/hobby/business for a long time now, I absolutely love the plant and age will never change that.

I've recently started with live resin disposable/cart, the convenience is great however the flavor cannot compare to nice bud in the dynavap (or my electric dry herb vape). I'm 31 not 50 but have been a canna enthusiast since I was 13, over the past 18 years my approach has always evolved. Biggest shifts were when I cut out tobacco from spliffs at 20 and then cut smoking completely for vaping about 4 years ago (cannot smoke at all now). Having 2 kids also changed my consumption a lot. The dynavap allowed me to consumer daily and still only consume like an 8th a month!
56 and no my habits have not changed still like a big joint,i have tried most of these new fangled ways to smoke hashish but to be honest they are just the same as digging out the old hot knives imo and i dont always want to be totally baked like you get from things like the knives just well done from a big joint and i am happy.

I used to buy ones from other sites but it was giving me chest pains and then I know this company that tests drugs and there is so many thc juices and most are tested as synthetic... I’ve tried many times in the past, sadly it’s not really possible with current technology, you can use wax liquidizer but it’s just a mix of peg400 and PG which won’t taste nice and is potentially harmful. I’ve also tried mixing it with just PG but it tastes so bad it’s un vapable. VG is what makes normal eliquids taste nice and sweet and THC will not really bind with VG so that’s not really possible, you can make very weak VG THC mixes as some people have said but they just really aren’t worth it. The majority of “THC eliquid” you will find will be spice. I still believe a cartridge is the best way to smoke it

But this won't give clouds, is very strong and isnt full of artificial flavours (I know some like that).
My mate had vape juice of a dealer a while ago, it was very clear and blew your head off after a couple puffs so told him I don't think it's thc (it was also cheap). He gave me a bought and I bought a drug testing kit and it turned out to be a synthetic cannabinoid called AM-74 (or something similar). Quite a risky substance.
Only time I've tried a liquid type vape was a stiizy in California and it was heavenly. I use a dynavap and xmax V3 pro herbal vape.
My mate had vape juice of a dealer a while ago, it was very clear and blew your head off after a couple puffs so told him I don't think it's thc (it was also cheap). He gave me a bought and I bought a drug testing kit and it turned out to be a synthetic cannabinoid called AM-74 (or something similar). Quite a risky substance.
Only time I've tried a liquid type vape was a stiizy in California and it was heavenly. I use a dynavap and xmax V3 pro herbal vape.

Just bought a xmax v3 pro £69 very good and some dosing capsules so I can smoke hash,you have to use cotton bacon with hash in the capsules,beats the dynavap any day,you can buy spare batteries and charger cheep too,definitely recommend.👍

It's alright, I found getting onto carts the best way to stop smoking joints, haven't smoked any since feb this year, so it's going pretty good! Couldn't get on with vaping dry herb, ended up using more weed than in a joint.

Butane manual certainly comes with a learning curve. I have them all but prefer to let the battery do the work😉

Dynavap £60ish, litl 1 £25ish (tiny!)and flowermate aura £50 ish are the best rated in that category I think. There maybe some others but those are the ones I have seen good reviews for 👍 spend the whole £100 and things will only get better with heating,clouds, taste and voltage settings.

Dynavap/induction heater and you'll never look back. If you're on a strict budget you can use a Jet lighter and FMJ addon instead of an induction heater and it will still be great. I completely quit smoking and don't miss it as the advantages of vaping are endless.

I have an xmax starry v3 and find I use it more than my far more expensive storz crafty+
I also have a dynavap but could never find a reliable enough jet lighter. It is very good though so maybe I should persist.
Maybe not relevant but I’m just about sold on the carts on here. Great vape company and Dr Terpy are my go to vendors.

I'd browse around for a second hand Mighty / TinyMight. I picked up a second hand TinyMight for £110 with accessories. If you do go for second hand, just make sure you look into how to spot fakes for the unit you're interested in.

I would also recommend the xmax v3 pro. You can get cool attachments for the mouthpiece on it too, like a glass tube mouthpiece and a waterbubbler thingy.

i picked up the xlux roffu last year during the 420 sales from vapefiend and couldn't be happier, it's a beefed up xmax v3 pro with a better heater and a nicer construction.
takes long draws like the xmax due to being a convention vape, but never fails to get me blazed and i smoke js daily

I started with a dynavap then tried a few handmedowns off my old man, Dotleaf and a couple of cheapies. The only one I use now is the Dynavap, just so simple, the only thing you need is a lighter

I've had an Xmax Fog Pro for a year. At £85, it's under your £100. Comes with a concentrate bucket. Full convection heating and excellent temperature control. USB C charging (you can use it while charging). Replaceable battery. Well made and robust. Clouds are thinner than spliffs but still good strong hits. YMMV, of course, but this ticked all the boxes for me.😊
Another nod to the xmax v3 pro from me got me away from combustion and gave me the confidence to buy a more expensive option👍
Had the same predicament recently. Decided to spend the extra £30 and went with the arizer solo 2. Very happy with my purchase.
Not quite in your budget but you won't regret the extra - get the Arizer Air Max. Set it to at least 180 (190 is my go-to temp) and you are all good.
I have the Xmax v3 pro, I paid £75. Produces enough vapour to make me cough still. Dropped it a few times and still going strong. Battery could be better but all around good starter vape
I’m currently considering my first desktop vape. The Arizer Extreme Q is currently £87 on Vapefied and I’m finding it hard to resist…
It’s a bit of fun…who doesn’t love to try 🎈?….but after a month or two it will just be a paperweight 😉
