Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg - Snoop UK live debut.
Crowd was bananas, show was over sold, security got rushed multiple times, police abandoned the area, chaos for hours, fights inside the venue everywhere, open weed and crack smoking, coke sniffing, displays of weaponry, dudes getting properly jacked up for their whole shit right in the crowd inside and outside...I got robbed at knifepoint myself...lost a few quid, kept all my blood lol...
Venue was Brixton Academy, about 90/91 I reckon, whatever year it was that 'The Mirror' put Snoops picture on the front page and called him an evil bastard in the headline lol....think it was to do with him being on bail for murder at the time...
Dre and Snoop opened with 'Deep Cover' in pretty much pitch black....crowd went fucking super nuts...no word of a lie, in the first minute and a half of that song about another half dozen serious fights broke out all over the place, people running through swinging shit like woah....fucking mad shit, dre and snoop only stayed on about 45 minutes as the whole shit was out of control so they pretty much fled...crowd went even fucking nuttier...
Took fucking hours to get out of Brixton, full on road block grid lock chaos madness...
But. That 45 minutes they were on stage was honestly one of the most electrifying things I have ever seen...Dre was already a seasoned performer and Snoop was still a kid and was completely fucking amped up and rocking this huge afro that made him look kind of crazy and he was completely into stoking the fuck out of the crowd which didn't help the situation lol....
I been to a lot of hip hop shows over the years but this was on some other fucking level of mad...
Notable mentions go to KRS One, Cypress Hill and Public Enemy - seen all of them multiple times and they are some of the best live performers around, their shows never disappoint and they know how to move the crowd...

Was very cool being such a small venue, at one point Lauren Hill was literally 4ft from my face on stage when she did that tune with the chorus 'some forget harlem' (I forget the name, very cool song) and I could actually hear her singing straight out her mouth kind of thing, (If that makes sense!?.. But like I could hear it before it hit the mic sort of thing..) and damn...raw, raw talent and soul and well....stunning woman visually you know...fried my weeded brain at the time, I was just like dazed out for 5 minutes, like ahhhhh, damn....lol...Saw her again at a sold out Wembley arena 10 years later...couldn't barely even see her on stage from my pauper seats lol...watched the whole thing on the side monitors...not the same...fuck the fame lol...

Just diving in because it's a music thread and I'm crazy about music. That said I love all kinds from blues to classical, from jazz to opera, and of course hard rock, synth, pop, soul and everything else - apart from rap. The one music genre that does absolutely nothing for me. Bought the 12" of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash when it was released and still have it. And that's pretty much where it started and then ended for me...apart from the Fugees doing "Killing Me Softly", but that's all about Lauryn Hill, which is another story.

Still have a lot of my tapes and records from back in the day. I've converted one room into a Music room. Got a tape deck, turntable, CD and MP3 player all wired into a decent set of speakers. But back to the 90's.

Iโll start Dr Dre 2001 and Bob Marley and the wailers.
Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (managed to see them in NYC for Rock The Bells 2010 performing the whole album was a dream comes true) and the second best album for me would be Gang Starr - Moment of Truth
finally someone said Blue Lines. It's odd because in a lot of ways musically I don't rate it highly, it's kind of clumsy in parts, some of the ideas are underdeveloped, some of it almost makes me cringe. But there was just something so special about that time and the sound felt so new and yet familiar. Even though their later stuff is "better" Blue Lines has such a permananet special place in my heart.

The b-side of the sit down single is Live at the Manchester Gmex. On headphones is still the best crowd singing of a song to date.

Its an absolute epic album. That bit in Fountain and Fairfax where Happy Chichester's piano wraps around Barb's cello is heaven. Its as good an album as Black Love for sure, some fans prefer it but BL is the GOAT.

Never heard of either band before this shout. I listened to Epic Garden Music this morning on a hike and it's fantastic love the use of the keyboard and you can really hear early elements of shoegaze taking shape on tracks like "Lope" and "ART".. This is a very good band crisp.. Try listening to Soul Mining and Dusk by The The and tell me what you think. Anyway stay cool compadre.

Jesus. This has hit me really hard. Iโve been smoking weed for 30 years. 11 weeks ago I had a huge (tennis ball sized) lump pop out of my neck. Dr diagnosed me as having an infection of the parotid gland (saliva gland). Antibiotics for a week, lump hung around for a month.
Had an ultrasound scan 3 weeks ago, turns out itโs a tumour ๐ Stopped smoking that day. 30 years crashed down on me during that one 15 min appointment.
Was immediately put in the NHS suspect cancer 2 week pathway. Had an FNA (biopsy) and an MRI scan 2 weeks ago. Here I am, awaiting the news. Avoided googling the shit outta this, then stumble across this post. Blown me away a bit. I mean, we all know smoking isnโt big or clever, but this has been the biggest wake up call of my life, obviously.
I am part of a very reputable profession, married for 25 years, 4 kids. The works. Here I am, absolutely petrified waiting on a phone call.

We believe it's the smoking that is the problem..you cannot get away from the dangers! But working with cannabis oil doesn't yield the unwanted effects and works as the plant intended. Can even yield the psychedelic effects and change things on a spiritual level way more than smoking! We believe in it as a psychedelic medicine just like our medicine! It has the power to change lives :-) Get well soon brother! You can change things around with changing your mind ;)

They mentioned the possibility of a common type, that would need removing even if benign. I didnโt take in the name tho. Like I touched on, Iโm (usually!) a rational person, but I havenโt googled anything about this. My wife has tho, a lot, she works within the NHS and has spoken to people in this field. We have an unspoken understanding atm and not really discussing it at all. Her mum passed away very young with a cancer in her neck, I know sheโs in bits about this. This is breaking me inside.

Thank you for sharing your story. Try and keep your head up, just make sure you act on the doctor's advice and do so quickly. Please keep away from smoking anything at all now though mate, for you and yours.

So I have smoked weed with tobacco for these 30 years. Smoked cigarettes in the 90s, early 00s, then rolling tobacco. Never a โheavyโ fag smoker really, but a heavy joint smoker through (weed and tobacco). Bought a mighty vape last year in an effort to kick my combustion habbit. Used it twice as I really didnโt get in with it. Not smoked anything since my scan that confirmed a tumour, 4 weeks ago. Never found quitting so easy. Currently enjoying the benefits of not having a dependency of any sorts for the first time in my adult life. Felling a better dad and husband for it tbh.

I mean, that makes sense.. I don't think anything is really *supposed* to be combusted and inhaled. I know so many people already preach and I don't just wanna be another one, but dry herb vapes truly are a great way to consume. Bud lasts longer, tastes better AND you get avb to use in edibles at the end! I'll still be bongin' and spliffin' it up but it's great to have so many options nowadays
No doubt dry herb vaping is almost certainly way better in terms of health risks than smoking (I also do it as well as edibles). On the other hand, the research on the health risks for dry herb vaping is still extremely limited. Inhaling hot particulates (which still happens with vaping) tends to be no bueno for health.
Very true. We're still kind of in the infancy of cannabis research. We know the long term effects of cigarettes and alcohol but, with the legality of weed over the years, we've still got so many unanswered questions about it. And dry herb vapes really haven't been around that long either. I just hope that we get some conclusive answers in our lifetimes...
I think carts are going to prove a massive roadblock for cannabis development and freedom because of growing health concerns. WithTHCA, D8 & D10 workarounds these are available all across N.America now and the demand is huge with consumers able to puff through 1ml carts or more every single day. Chemical contamination is rife. These things ARE addictive. California is reporting rapidly increasing needs for specialist pulmonary treatments amongst all ages and new clinics are opening rapidly.

As much as I want to believe that the convenience and discretion of carts is a positive thing, sadly you're 100% spot on. People doing blinkers and landing themselves in hospital isn't an uncommon occurrence in the US, I think seby G (weedtuber) had an incident like that. People going through a gram of 90%+ THC distillate in a day is just insane on so many levels. And as far as contaminants, I 100% believe there's more contaminated carts in the world than legit ones. By a big margin. From pesticides and vitamin E acetate all the way up to spice-laden disposables now prevalent across the UK. It's really a worrying trend and the demand for carts is going up by the day.....

I wouldn't be surprised at all tbh, 900mg of pure THC every single day cannot be a good thing. Plus there's no entourage effect with disty carts, which is good for some but I personally think the other terps and cannabinoids are what "makes" a high. Even so, rosin/live resin carts must still have 70%+ THC a lot of the time. Overconsumption is the worst thing anyone can do with weed imo, stay within your limits and enjoy it! Don't just get to an 11/10 high all day every day

I agree the power of the music to inform and protest is lost, but straight of the gate, you have macklemore Hinds Hall (this came out of nowhere!). Protest the Hero + Show Me the Body are two bands that spring to mind. These are certainly not protest artists sonically, as they are both heavier guitar bands, but are both aggressively anti-establishment, discussing topics you wonโt hear other artists sing about.

Fargo, all seasons! Especially season 2 as it has a sci fi theme with a UFO. It's the single best TV series I've ever watched.
The first two seasons were as close to TV perfection as you can get. Season 3 was a masterclass in acting from David thewlis.

Apparently when the original makers dropped it some of the fans were so hard-core about it that they flew a plane past Amazon buildings with a sign saying 'Save the Expanse'. If a show inspires that level of commitment it has to be worth a watch imo.
Alternatively if you want some comedy then Good Omens gets my vote!

The expanse was great. It does tail off in latter series so I'm not completely surprised it got cancelled but the early series were compelling. I liked how it worked with many of the realities of living and moving in space which most series ignore. The early plot line is fascinating too. I liked it anyway.

What We Do In The Shadows easily the best comedy of the last 5 years....rivalled only recently by Ted the series

18/06/24- I love watching trailer park boys while having a joint, that show just goes hand in hand ๐
I recently watched the Scifi series The Expanse which I liked loads more than I expected I would. It's got a pretty good initial plot line but it's the fact that it adheres to many of the harsh realities of living and moving in space rather than skirt around them the way most Scifi series do that I felt gave it some level of integrity and fascination. If you've not seen it, give a few episodes a bash as it takes a while to get going properly. I'm currently watching another Scifi series, The Killjoys. It's kinda fun but hard to recommend in case you judge me by it.

My all time favourite Sci-Fi TV series has to be The X Files and for a comedy for me it's got to be Only Fools & Horses, never fails to make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it :-)

The Decline of Western Civilization Parts 1 and 2.Both are great, 1 is early US punk (Germs etc) but the 2nd Part is 80s metal and has the most high as fuck interview with a coked up Ozzy trying to make breakfast. The whole thing is a monument to excess and there's great footage throughout.

Hello hive mind, after some help and advice!
Iโve just received the most wonderful half of flower from one of the top vendors on here. Being the incredible fella he is, heโs included a large lump of what I think is rosin.
Despite being a consistent smoker of 30 years, I havenโt really got into concentrates outside of the traditional solid form. Can anyone give me an idea of how to consume it, and their recommendations on the best way to consume it please?
I smoke joints, can I smear it in the papers maybe? Also I own a mighty+ that Iโve hardly used (I didnโt really get on with it, but will switch to it one day soon I hope, to get away from combustion). Can I vape the rosin thro a capsule on this?

I'm assuming its a very sticky gooey consistency yeah?....it could be rosin, or resin, wax, budder, badder etc- I would ask the vendor if I was you because the strain will be of interest too. That said, consumption is pretty much the same.
Ideally you would have a dab pen or e-rig for concentrates. But you can smear it on a paper its just a little (very) difficult to handle. For the Mighty you need a dosing capsule for concentrates (they come with a little mesh pad inside) otherwise it will make a serious mess of your oven- don't go there.
I would take some ground up flower, then add the rosin and mix it together until its sticky but dry enough to be handled and then make a joint or fill a normal dosing capsule in the Mighty (heat to about 195c). It will certainly give you a Zing!....enjoy!

Hey buddy....yeah you sort of could do it with cotton bacon in the Mighty but I'd be worried about leakage. I would be tempted to mix in a little ground weed just to soak things up. Then put a wispy layer of bacon on the base of the capsule- you want good airflow but no goo getting out. Or if you go with the rosin alone put a thicker covering on the botton, a rice grain of gear on top and then a thin covering of bacon. You'll need about 200c.

This cherry runtz is really nice. Perfect cure for me, slight stickiness and grinds up lovely and fluffy. Real clean smoke, I find it very strong and got me very chatty! Highly recommended, but save some for me!
Friendly comms throughout too. Really hope to see your menu expand, because Iโll be all over it like a cat on a kipper!

Iโve just ordered a Black Friday deal of a Mighty vaporiser, and a load of accessories for it. Due to be delivered tomorrow, Iโm looking forward, with a healthy slice of trepidation, to stopping smoking joints (30+ years)
Was wondering if anyone could offer me any tips and advice from their experiences on using it! I was hoping I could use hash in the mighty as well tbh, is this feasible?

Make sure you got alcohol for a weekly clean if heavy user as keeps the taste supreme.
Find a temp that works for you. Generally I start all strains at 155 and work up in 7-10 increments to maximise different flavours.
For maximum potency and effect though I find you have to go to 181. If I do this I do it from the start.
Also, in out of weed atm so had to smoke the pre vaped and it actually tasted ok ๐

I surprised at your temps apex. Everyone is different and to be honest I used my mates mighty first and he temp stepped from 180 190 finishing at 200. Which I do now.

I sometimes vape at low temps on my Xmax pro for a mellow lift and the flavours can be great eh? 150 - 160 can taste like your eating the bud without actually eating it if that makes sense?
I like to start taking draws as it gets up to temp but always finish a cap on 200.

I've not tried hash in mine but still use the caps all the time for bud. Cleaning the head unit is easy enough but don't want to have to clean the oven regularly.
My advice for bud is not to pack the cap. You need enough air room for the convection thing to work properly.

Yeah, don't be put off if you don't think the Mighty isn't great if you're using dry stuff. I still like smoking so keep 2 stashes now.
One for smoking and another for the stuff that vapes good.
The best thing is that you can use it anywhere because the vapour doesn't smell. Ideal for hotels, bars, visiting fam, or if you can't smoke indoors at home :)

Stick the dry stuff in a jar with 62% or higher Boveda if you've got time for it to gain some moisture. Takes a while tho.

Use the dosing capsule for hash to protect your oven. Get a pack of cotton bacon from Amazon but you only use a tiny amount. Put a wispy cover on the base of the capsule. For soft hash, roll and coil a snake and place on the bed with a wispy layer on top. For hard hash grind it first. Alternatively use weed as your sandwich layers.

Is anyone else getting really high network fees with exodus wallet and know of a way around them itโs charging nearly $25 to send any amount
Not on exodus but, i did my usual routine of buying the coins I needed for what I wanted, went to pay and said I had not got enough money available... ยฃ15 transaction fee! Chucked another ยฃ20 in and the fee went up to ยฃ24!
I'm not a tech whizz but with all of these high fees, my usual ยฃ170 ounce is costing me about ยฃ220 all told ):

the network is congested right now so the ridiculous fee applies to all wallets. its the only way to have your transaction process in a reasonable timefame.
I made a order just now and it cost $9 in fees using trust wallet. It usually cost around $1-$2 so this price increase is staggering.
Exodus wallet is good but the fees are astronomical so I stopped using them a long time ago

BTC and Transaxe are both FUBAR. Decided to add more coin to my wallet to cover the ridiculous fees for a small order, which was annoying only to find it was more wasted money as Transaxe is down (07/12).
I said in another post Iโve held fire on any more purchases for the xmas period as I donโt want to tie up or waste in fees so much money.

btc is an absolute joke and working as intended, which is to say it's meant to maximise profit for miners.
I usually select the highest fee amount suggested by the app I use and it's there within an hour. The last couple of times it's sat in the mempool going unloved for many hours regardless of me paying for the shakedown..
You can pay for further extortion with btc accelerator services which run their own private mining services so they can prioritise your transaction. This can set you back a further $30-40 but can confirm it worked on my last transaction I had stuck.
It's worth checking bitcoinfees.net before setting your btc fee amount. It has a graph showing the fee amount and number of unconfirmed transactions for each. As usual it'll cost you more but will cut down on the delay.

These are crazy days for Bitcoin, itโs the transaction traffic. It has certainly happened before and is the reason LB is trying to set up alternatives. Orders normally expire in 24 hours but youโll see the updateโฆ

I had a transaction stuck during the last BTC fee spike and it sat unconfirmed over a week. It eventually dropped out of the mempool so never ended up being deducted from my wallet balance but still caused loads of issues with my order.

sometimes i like to just pop on an album that takes me to another world. two most recent arctic monkeys albums are great for it, i feel like i'm floating through the galaxy whenever i listen to
DJ Shadowโs Endtroducing for me. One of the few multi format albums I own that Iโve had to replace several times cos Iโve worn it out. Freaks me out that itโs nearly 30 years old, it blew my mind then and it still does now. A masterpiece of a sonic journey.
I drove 400 miles to see him DJ. Got realy high then kinda drive home 400 miles. The good old days of 1996.
I second both of these choices. I came here to say the 2nd as clearly the thread title leads anyone who knows the album to think of it. Saw them play it live about 20 years ago, and they were superb.

The original Dreamfish album was amazing back in the day. I remember getting a cassette tape copy from a guy at school and listening to it on headphones after a spliff which blew my mind. Got the CD off eBay years later and it's still good for an ambient chillout option.
Iโve got the vinyl of that! Quality Fax output. That label did loads of amazing CDs and they were all limited to between 200-500 copies onlyโฆ.

Tom Waits. My all time favourite artist. Been putting stuff out for 50 years and never made a dud album IMO. And none of them sound dated.
Queen and Freddie Mercury...you only have to look at the age range and diversity of the fanbase.

Hi Biggas,
Made a post a while back mentioning my unintended high tolerance and the things I wanted to try to get high. I took advice about Zombie sticks and decided to make a few of my own with proper bud not shake, hash, Kief Iโd bought here and THC oil.
Aside from the 3.5g mix of hash and bud being absolutely awful I tried with more weed and honestly I felt nothing.
Fast forward a few months and mentally Iโm at the worst point Iโve been at in years, allegedly in a few weeks I will finally have access to medication that might help me after 10 full years of applying but until that point Iโm cold turkeying off prescription meds to get back to baseline.
Long story short, I had 2 packs of 250mg sweets from the DNM over 2 days and felt absolutely nothing, after a full weed joint youโd never know Iโd had any and after 2 or 3 itโs still barely noticeable.
I wanted to take a T break but unfortunately with how shite things have been at the minute, having a joint is a decent enough reason to want to get up and work from home but some days Iโm just sleeping through and ignoring bud altogether.
Thereโs not much advice anyone can give me this is probably medical knowledge outside everyoneโs jurisdiction. Im sick of smoking weed, Iโm in it purely for the effect now and the coughing, smell and time it takes to ingest in a joint bothers me more now Iโm not able to get any type of calming effect until 2 to 3, I canโt even remember the last time I was โstonedโ.
So my options are, try stuff now while off meds and wait to see if Drs actually make good on seeing me in the next 3 weeks, or take a T break once Iโm on the meds but as it stands I see no benefit with the way I feel in stopping weed before that point .
1. I have had loads of products here and online and honestly not having much luck. Iโm going to get a 500mg edible from the Bald Eagle Bakery if they still have them can anyone recommend the strongest vape youโve had? Iโve had a few from G6 to Canadianimports (bad product thatโs still being sold) to MJs and no matter what I just donโt feel the calm or high, I can get through a full pen in a few hours and feel nothing. The first one I had in America got me whiffed I believe ten times before Iโd finished it, not once since then have any impacted me.
2. Strong hash. Never been a big fan tried a few over the years but no matter what I feel a joint or a hash joint have a similar meh effect. Iโve been reading about how a strong hash can blow your head off compared to a top shelf weed joint. I want this, Iโm told itโs triple filtered iso etc thatโll have that effect I really just want some very strong hash to see the hype, if anyone can link any Iโd appreciate it.
I feel pretty fed up with the whole situation, thereโs not much that relieves my day to day stress and stupid brain expect for bud these days and itโs getting harder and harder to just catch a break.
3. Iโm after a few cheap THC vapes, I went for a pint with my mate last night who struggles with his mental health and his partner does too, he said theyโd love to try a vape. My problem is Iโm at a point where I canโt tell if my tolerance is too high or what Iโm vaping is straight up bollocks.
I saw the messing about today with those top cart fakes, packwoodz etc I see them everywhere. Had someone on tele selling the exact same one for ยฃ60 and my mate text me saying someone local was flogging them ยฃ40 then when I came on here saw the kick off. If these Packwoodz, 10/10 boys vapes are legit and work Iโd spend the money but with how cheap the packaging is surely Iโm better off getting 2 1ml reliable carts for 30 quid each. If these โproperโ carts had an effect on me Iโd buy them no questions asked at a big premium but Iโm sick of having to piss away 100 quid every time I want to take a risk and end up regretting it.
So any recommendations biggas id really appreciate it, Iโm struggling at the minute and all Iโm after is a bit of a mental break

Do you think tolerance is definitely the issue?
If you're trying to fill a bucket that has a hole in the bottom, asking for wetter water isn't going to do the trick.
Everyone has these spells and I think the very worst thing you can do is chase it and just smoke more and more, it wont work. I've never met anyone its worked for, chasing it like that genuinely ruins people. People say things like "weed opens up the mind" but if your mind is full of pent up anger and frustration then that is likely what are you going to get.
If anything this could be an excuse to slow down and think about exactly what you want out of weed, do you actually want to get mashed or do you just feel that way coz of the unresolved issues you're dealing with? maybe in reality you just want something to make you smile during the day and help you sleep at night, or just something that brings a sense of feeling well.... I don't know what you need, only you do and now could be the time to properly suss it out and find exactly what works best for you. Might mean grin and bearing it for a while though.

Look out for dr extracts 50/50 carts, i'd recommend the GSC.

I was wanting to say to OP, you need to start smoking some weaker stuff for a short time, 3 - 4 days minimum, or else you're only gonna get 'stoned' with your first smoke of the day pretty much, sure you can smoke and chill but that knock you on the floor stone you seek will only be possible if you lower you tolerance.

That's come decent advice Doom mate I have never considered getting lower quality weed to set a baseline for my expectations rather than blasting through 10 different strains and not getting a buzz.
That being said i'm at the point now where no matter what I smoke i'm getting a similar effect, funnily enough i've just had a 48h T break due to how things turned out so about ten minutes ago i've just had half a doob in the rain and I honestly feel decently whiffed.
Now there's my problem again, is it because i've not had it for 48h? Is it because i'm actively thinking about that as i'm smoking it? Is it because I had a good day yesterday and today's not been bad? Is it because i'm probably on day 10 of not having any prescribed medication for the first time in 10 years? Is it a culmination of everything?

It's a waste blasting through only top shelve all the time, i'm sure you're nicely buzzed now cause of your break, it really is that simple.
I'd try mixing the strengths of your smoke, and save the heavy stuff till the weekends or whenever in the week you do something special.

SN2D was the vendor who sold me a terrible vape, said it was their worst with the defects and it'd be off the menu soon and I checked this morning it's still there (This was on the thread about vapes not being legit yesterday) i'm sure they do have some great products especially since they import from the States but that transaction left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I asked them a few months ago about whether they could get the vape I got which was actually a Vegas cart so probably round the corner from them and they were... less than keen to do that.
Also doesn't help with the diagnosis that i'm impatient and the thought of having to wait 2 weeks to get a product that's possibly comparable to what we have in the UK annoys me. Plus the last 3 orders i've had from the states have been seized which really puts a downer on my day having to chase it for months to find out you're never getting it.
Did grab an oz of Green Crack (bud) last month on B***mia last month for it's effects on ADHD and I really wasn't impressed, I grabbed an Oz of Wedding Crasher this month which was fine but they'd advertised it as AAA+++ Cali and it was ยฃ180, i'd pay that for an Oz but if you're going to sell normal weed just call a spade a spade and be done with it.
I think the Drug world is one of the only markets you can have so much variance in quality, price and service and that in my eyes is a lot more of a con than a pro sadly.
In an ideal world it would be here's your great weed for a higher price, here's your normal weed for a normal price and so on and forth, you get what you put it and that's that but it's exhausting sometimes.

Last time I got a 70/30 cart I smeared the dregs of the zkittlez live resin onto the papers as a treat and I attest that they got a bigga absolutely high as a motherfucker with some otherwise 8/10 dawg. I recommend it. I have been meaning to buy a 1g pot since.

Haha that's good to hear, well my thing was i'd bought one of these $36 Zombie sticks here and didn't really see much of a difference so did a bit of reading on how to make your own and what to put in and I did the same.
Had the weed, a snake of hash, weed covering it with Kief sprinkled in at every point (Cool novelty having kief on the outside but it ends up bubbling and you lose a lot of it, and honestly I felt like it did nothing anyway but smelled lovely) then i'd heat up the 1ml syringe of distillate and then put a bit on the bud, used it to seal it then on the outside after i'd sealed it i'd do a few little rings around it on the outside.
And you'd think with all that it'd blow your head off but I made about 6 in the end and was proper disappointed. Again can't blame the goods (except the hash) it might just be everything else.
I know carts aren't the be all and end all but honestly the convenience of them is just immeasurable to me. We went to Vegas and I went to see Planet 13 the worlds biggest dispensary and it was incredible, but before I got there I saw a sign for another one like 500 metres away got myself my first little weed vape, got it back the hotel was nervous and smoked some of it and within 5 minutes I was like "Oh my God this is incredible" and by the end of our holiday I was like if I can get these back home I am NEVER smoking again, since then i'm probably a grand down with carts that have just completely not lived up to the hype.
Then everyone says allegedly carts kill your tolerance, so then it's a double edged sword! Going through 20 bad carts and ending up with a tolerance like Willie Nelson so by the time you find a good one it does nothing.
Had the weed, a snake of hash, weed covering it with Kief sprinkled in at every point (Cool novelty having kief on the outside but it ends up bubbling and you lose a lot of it, and honestly I felt like it did nothing anyway but smelled lovely) then i'd heat up the 1ml syringe of distillate and then put a bit on the bud, used it to seal it then on the outside after i'd sealed it i'd do a few little rings around it on the outside.
And you'd think with all that it'd blow your head off but I made about 6 in the end and was proper disappointed. Again can't blame the goods (except the hash) it might just be everything else.
I know carts aren't the be all and end all but honestly the convenience of them is just immeasurable to me. I feel like users have a honeymoon period with carts. They get you so high at first and I am onboard with the convenience side of them, but I think there is a low tolerance ceiling. Something about others not realising you are high from a vape pen gives me a kick lol.
I think users need longer off them to return to the effect they had the first time you had them. And I mean months. 2-3.
I have given pens to friends who loved them, continued to buy but were also sad to see the ever diminishing returns gradually, and went back on to the urb.
Carts don't particularly effect me anymore, I think due to lack of entourage effect in distillate. This is why I have moved towards hash for daytime smoke.

Hiya mate I didnโt ignore your post I did take it on board and took some of your advice as well. I ended up getting 1g Fruity Pebbles resin for 50 quid, it smelled lovely and since it was 4/20 decided to make a joint with about 1/3 of it in, I seemed to cough a bit more but no extra feelings. I probably need to try it in a bong or mighty to get the full effect.

The soundtrack from Performance made in 1970 is great. Lots of music by Ry Cooder. It involves a lot of pot smoking and a mushroom trip too. Cult movie.
