did you just eat it bare or did you find a creative way to add it to something? I think this product of his is very interesting and I'd like to know more about the type of high. Admittedly to make these type of judgements with any measure of precision presumably requires one to not be wrecked at the time. So that might rule you out on this go. But from your report it sounds like you might still have had a nice time from half a teaspoon, what do you reckon DTB?

Canna coconut oil
I had my first try of some canna coconut oil I bought from Ukgrower2 last night. Absolutely fantastic stuff. Suffice to say I was more than adequately wrecked off my trial amount of 1 teaspoon of the stuff. Stealthy and quite trippy, and definitely 10/10 clobber.

After I decanted the oil into a jar I stuck the packet in the fridge, waited for it to solidify then scraped it clean. That was half a teaspoon (exactly filled the small end of a medicine spoon), which I scoffed down there and then. I also had a couple of fills of a vape so it's hard to isolate the effects of half a spoon, but I would say it would be nice mild, mellow buzz. The following evening I ate a full spoonful raw. It tasted a bit grim tbh but it did give a nice stone. Most recently I warmed a spoonful back into oil and mixed it with some chocolate sauce, which was okay. I think the potential for using this in proper cooking is immense. Letting it melt into any warm dish would be ideal.
I'm hoping that it will freeze because even 150ml will go a long way...that's 30 tea spoons! I don't want the butter/oil to spoil before I get a chance to use it all.

Need advice from dry herb vapers please
Hi All,
I am wanting to move from traditional smoking over to dry herb vaping.
I am very experienced with vaping in the nicotine sense but not with weed.
My main concern is that I am a very heavy user with a high tolerance and wont enjoy it as much/wont get the effects as well. I know in theory that vaping generated more thc in the vapour than burning produces in the smoke but who knows in the real world! :-)
Any advice on how it hits, decent devices to get etc please let me know. At the moment thinking something from Storz & Bickel.
Thanks all

There's definitely a learning curve in terms of how different a vape high is to a smoking high. I find vaping to be more of a 'background' high, not as in your face. I can still get shit done. If you're worried about the potency of the high, you can add hash or extracts to your bowls (research how to do this with your specific model, don't just mix and hope for the best).
Biggest difference is you don't feel all of the shite you get from smoking. I no longer have a smoker's cough. Material used will plummet, I'd say I'm using about half as much flower nowadays compared to when I was smoking.
The PAX gets dragged absolutely everywhere online but I've said it here before and I'll say it again, the PAX 3 is the best dry herb vape on the market for my use case. It's just like smoking an electric joint (I only ever smoked joints and missed the ritual of rolling and passing, breathing focus etc).
Whatever you settle on you will be glad you made the change. It can be tricky at first but you will NEVER look back. Good on you for taking the baby steps by just asking for advice!

Thanks so much for the great reply.
In terms of quantity, I almost always smoke using what in my youth was called a shotty, pipe into water bottle basically, BUT that means very low usage vs. level of high already.
Any idea weight wise what you get through and how often you smoking that is?

In that case I'd look at conduction Vs convection vapes. The PAX is a conduction vape so it's more a 'session' vape, whereas convection vapes are closer to the one and done experience you're used to with a shotty (which I am also well versed in the use of hahaha). You're right that you can't go wrong with anything S&B as a general rule of thumb.
I think the PAX chamber capacity is 0.3g and I could get by with 4 of those a day. When smoking, it'd be minimum 2g a day, regardless of if I had work.
I can easily make a Q last a week nowadays if I need to. Before vaping, I'd be going through a 3.5 every day or two.

Hey man, I was in a similar position transferring from smoking to dry herb vaping. Started with a dynavap then onto a mighty+, both great bits of kit with pros and cons for both. I ended up running the mighty through a little bubbler to make it smoother/cooler but still a little too harsh.
A friend suggested to try extracts, as that's essentially all you're trying to get at with vaping, the flower is just unwanted carriage.
So I bought a Coil king by crossing, absolute game changer, better high, smoother nicer more terpy hits. Also found it to be more economical as you can get nice extracts quite cheap on LB.
I use the whip from the mighty+ and a little bubbler and it chucks out clouds.
Also bought a Utillian 8 which is good but the coil king still rocks :)

For me itβs a Dynavap and induction heater or my Tinymight. Both are great. Both have a bit of a learning curve. Plenty on YouTube about both. You canβt beat the TinyMight for out and about.

These threads break me
Pax 3 is outpaced by the starry 4 half the price
Session vapes like the crafty and mighty might not give you a quick enough release to satisfy a heavy smoker
The person who commented about nothing hitting as hard as volcano clearly hasn't looked at the scene for at least the last I dunno five years now
Tiny might 2 /.solo 3 best easily sourced handhelds but expensive
Roffu and Angus are mid tier priced but decent
Xmax V3 pro , starry 4 below Β£100
All handheld battery powered
Desktop device's
Ruby twist or Vapvana screwball for budget and not prices
Those both are mains powered and will need a bong / bubbler with them
There also all cheaper than storz and bickel
Here are some of the vapes I own, just incase your wondering if I am talking from a place of experience.
That's not all my vapes just the ones to hand

That's a serious amount of kit! π§ It's nice to see other methods of dry herb vaping, but this is god tier πΆβπ«οΈ

I have a distinctly unfair advantage in bakx acquisition due to being fortunate enough to glue them together for Choo
So I don't need to brave drops like everyone else , though my tp80 was from a drop from before I became glue rabb1t

Hey all,
Thanks for all the advice given, really appreciate it.
I went ahead and got a crafty+. So far....not loving it. its ok but certainly uses more weed than my usual method.
Main benefit is the lovely flavours and cleanness of it.
Wondering if some shatter or sugar/badder might be better for effect?

Not sure how old this post is, but I thought I would add my setup into the mix.
I have a Stempod SI which connects to a bubbler using a glass reducer with a dry herb basket, and I have a Geek Vape Aegis which powers the heating element in the Stempod. I found that the Storz and Bickle devices use way too much herb, don't get the bud hot enough, and generaly don't get the best flavour.
I have always smoked using a bong, and this way, with a bubbler, the vape is much smoother than a direct hit. I can modify the temp to get the best flavour and effect out of each strain, as each flower generally requires different temps.
You have the option of using direct "stems", or tubes to inhale, but I have a selection of bubblers I use. From small travel bongs to larger more desk friendly ones.
One con of using this, is it takes a bit of time to get used to, and when you start using it, you may occasionally combust the flower. It didn't take long, but I haven't had a combustion in a couple of years and I wouldn't use any other method.
I've never looked back, and I hope you find what's right for you π

Stempod was my first 510 device and I used it on the exact same mod and colour you have there
Not used it since getting some of my others but it went to Disney Paris with me a few years ago
Used a slightly less loud looking mod then π
Medical prescription so could take my flower with me no issues

Yo, my thoughts on vaping generally? Cons: Waaaay harsher on my throat than smoking, not something thatβs got better with time. Storz & Bickel devices are a hassle to clean. Propanalol is your only friend. Pros: Itβs an investment, if itβs your daily driver itβll pay itself back. You put less in than a j and itβs way stronger. You can even use your vaped bud a second time for a microdose, to make edibles, or as a tobacco substitute. So economical. There are spacers for extract/smaller doses.
I use the dosage caps as it keeps my device cleaner. I go through approx 1/2 oz and clean it every other week. I find 15-20mins at 185 deg C is optimal. Storz and Bickel has all the replacement parts you need. Theres even some unofficial glassware attachments for it. If in the uk donβt buy off the official site as youβll get taxed massively upon import.
My first move into dry herb vaping was storz & bickel crafty. Pros of this device is itβs the most portable option. Thatβs where it ends really. App is useless for iPhone users, temp control and battery display on the app only shows once your buds done heating ??. You get maybe 3 uses from a charge and it takes hours to recharge.
Upgraded to venty a few months ago. Absolute dream. Bigger in size but the variable airflow is a game changer and the speed charger gets it to 80% in 40 mins. No need for the dumb app.
Iβm considering trying a dynavap. No charging needed and far more portable. Less accurate temp.
Hope this helps!

Awesome, thank you.
Although made me possibly rethink the crafty+. Just don't want to invest too much in case I don't take to it.

That was my thought process exactly. You can get far cheaper from other brands to give it a go first. Iβm a sticker for s&b for all the accessories and replacements you need later down the line

My worry and a lesson I learnt from moving to nic vaping to get off the fags many years ago was that a cheap device makes the whole thing seem crap when really its just the cheap hardware.

Thanks so much for all the mega helpful responses.
Reckon I will give the Crafty+ a go and see where we get.

Took me a while to appreciate it.
Went from dynavap to mighty, had plenty and volcano.
Ended up smoking pure joints again so invested in a ruby twist kit and glass for bigger hits π
Iβll report back when it lands

Yo man, I switched to the Mighty a few years ago and I love it. I initially didnβt like the buzz compared the old flame method, but it grew on me and itβs all I use now (aside from dabs in another device and joints as a wee treat, both at the weekend - mighty for weekdays). You save so much on bud itβs incredible. You can really see the levels as well, for example bud at $60 a Q tends to get decent clouds for say 5-10 mins, whereas THC23 bud at $65 a 3.5 can get clouds for like 30 mins. Itβs nuance you simply canβt appreciate with a flame as it all just burns up super quick. Absolute no brainer imo, it pays for itself within a couple of months and is obviously much better for you. Although I appreciate the switch can be a bit jarring.

As an ex bong smoker, and heavy joint/ blunt burner...the switch to vaping has been amazing. I use the Mighty, and have been for 3 years now...very pccasionaly I go back to the bong, then end up regretting it for a few hours trying to get the taste of smoke out of me again...
And it's ruined joints for me, they taste shite now compared to vaping.
As for potency- I literally notice no difference.
I used to think the bong hit was more instant than the vape, but I think it's the coughing causing a bit of a head rush instead.
After 15 minutes I honestly think there is zero difference in effect...just a much more pleasurable intake experience, vaping lets you really enjoy the terps.
I'll never go back!

I use an iolite 2.0 vape. It runs on gas and has proven to be reliable, effective and efficient. Can't fault it at all. I prefer the gas to leccy as a heat source - there's something about topping up from a big yellow can of gas that I enjoy, and the burner sounds like a little jet.
In my experience vapes do need a bit of occasional cleaning to keep them flowing well. A little bit of industrial alcohol it just the ticket for cleaning.

The way once it's at temp the gas turns on and off by itself is magical
It's just a bimetallic switch but it's still magical imo

I have the mighty plus, the tiny might, solo 3 and iq3
Tldr the solo 3 is my preferred device. So easy to clean compared to rest..comes with all accessories you need and the flavor....well thats the best they all do. I use the XL tube which allows about 0.6 gram . I bought a bubbler (as it comes with 14mm water bubbler adaptor) and it's beautiful

I've always gone with Storz &, Bickel. I still own the original solid valve Volcano which I bought in 2006 (!) and I'm not convinced anything invented since hits harder. However it is not exactly discreet or portable. I did have a Crafty but managed to get a warranty replacement for a Mighty, which I've just honorably retired after five years and replaced with a Venty, which seems to be working very well for me. If there's even a small chance vaping will get you off tobacco, it is worth investing in as the positive results it could yield are life-changing.

Hi LightUser, I'm using a S&B crafty atm but thinking of getting a Venty. I've had a mighty before, but wondered in your experience how much difference there is in the mighty/crafty vs the Venty? cheers

Hi, it is a major upgrade in my opinion. The quick heating time is a bonus, but it's the increased airflow which makes the most difference. It almost turns it into a mobile Volcano. On the negative side, I have seen lots of reports of units needing to be replaced due to the dreaded E4 error message, so that is a potential inconvenience.
On a wider point, I'm starting to think that vapes are like the drugs we put in them - in that there will always be something 'better', harder hitting, and more expensive if we look hard enough. Ultimately the cheapest way of improving our high is to take a tolerance break !

thanks for this. I'm torn between a Venty or a Plenty. Totally agree on your wider points and a tolerance break is always a good thing if you can. I like to always beat mine by a day to the last one if i can!

Plenty is good at using plenty of weed to not get particularly high

It has to be MF DOOM. He died recently but the way this dude puts words together and fucks with the ryhme scheme is other-worldy. RIP DOOM

Two albums define the 90s for me. Exile on coldharbour lane - Alabama 3. You owe it to yourself to listen to this
Also Dummy by portishead, but only if I'm feeling low.

Loved them- have 'rediscovered' mezanine by Massive Attack in the last few days.Brings me back to being a stoned student in my first bedsit. Great times.

Portishead - Dummy
Lamb - Lamb
Faithless - Sunday 8PM
Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish
System of a Down - System of a Down
Leftfield - Leftism
The 90's was a great time.

Black metal .... More black metal ...... i like most genres but i love BLACK METAL! Dimmu Borgir, Watain , Dissection ect....

Oooooo the 90's πππ
My personal favourite musical decade. The decade where I really found myself musically.
God thinking back I had/have some eclectic tastes.... used to listen to allsorts from studenty indie bands such as Carter Usm through hip hop (nwa, dre, wu tang etc) laid back shiz like massive attack, Portishead through to happy hardcore, gabba techno & jungle
Saw out the late 90's bouncing from club to club with a house, hard house, trance & techno soundtrack to my life (which only ended in the past decade or so π)

Mate, this reads like I wrote it! Iβm was (and still am!) a huge Carter fan! Proper tuned me in to the world, their lyrics still stand strong now. Got me socially aware and into hip hop, then I got into the tail end of the rave/club scene. Onto trip hop,and the 00βs indie scene a bit. Listen to mostly 90s hip hop and industrial stuff now!

Prince.
I was so obsessed when i was younger i even had the leather jacket with the symbol on the back.
Still love the music but luckily the dress sense has improved a bit!
Anyone who thinks Bruno Mars is ground breaking (and i think his music is great by the way) needs to stick a few Prince albums from the late 80's and 90's on. Gives a very clear idea where he gets his "thing" from.
Cheers BB

Gotta have house music!
As the 90's started I'll admit to being into American Rock artists like Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt and Kiss. Also liked a bitta Journey, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon. Still have a lot of my tapes and records from back in the day. I've converted one room into a Music room. Got a tape deck, turntable, CD and MP3 player all wired into a decent set of speakers. But back to the 90's.
Must have been summer 92 that I went to my first rave. I live in NI so we those that are fimilar with things will remember Kellys in Portrush. Spent many saturday nights dancing to some amazing house music. Some epic tunes by artists who'se names I never did get, to loved up to care! As long as there was a big beat, piano break, hands in the air we didn't care. #goodtimes

I grew up in the '90s and it was the age when I really discovered music. I still listen to a ton of '90s music. I think for me hip hop peaked in the '90s - Enter the Wu Tang, The Chronic, Illmatic, Ready to Die...I could go on.
I saw Leftism get a mention earlier in the thread, what an amazing album, still holds up today. I saw them live a few times and they were always great, a real shame they didn't put out more music. I know Leftfield technically still exists but it's not the same.

A great decade for punk / hardcore. Fugazi. Gorilla Biscuits. Rollins, before he disappeared up his own arse. Sweaty gigs in tiny venues. I miss those days.

Dean Koontz! he wrote a novel that very much matches whats going on in the world today, with the current affairs involved in virology etc

Early Nineties I started working, then living in London and I loved pirate radio. UKG and Jungle, served up with a proper attitude, while having a right laugh.
Cruising round Essex & Easts in a Renault 5 turbo with 3 mates squeezed in the back, chatting shit about who makes the best/worst spliff.
Before I moved abroad I recorded hours of it, but lost the tapes (lol) along the way.

Gotta be house/ trance. My favourite tune which gives me goosebumps is Silence by Delerium, I love the strong female vocals

In the early to mid 90's I loved nothing more than a night of bouncing, banging techno, followed by Marley/Floyd type of thing as I eased down the next day.
*DTB shivers while recalling those next days*
Changed lots over the years and is now trip hop with a jazz angle, classical & opera, Cash, Floyd, Zeppelin, Fleetwood, Dylan, and a bit of Postmodern Jukebox if I feel like dreaming about sharing my life with Haley Reinhart.

Iβll start Dr Dre 2001 and Bob Marley and the wailers.

Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (managed to see them in NYC for Rock The Bells 2010 performing the whole album was a dream comes true) and the second best album for me would be Gang Starr - Moment of Truth

finally someone said Blue Lines. It's odd because in a lot of ways musically I don't rate it highly, it's kind of clumsy in parts, some of the ideas are underdeveloped, some of it almost makes me cringe. But there was just something so special about that time and the sound felt so new and yet familiar. Even though their later stuff is "better" Blue Lines has such a permananet special place in my heart.

Prodigy - Music For Jilted Generation
Leftfield - Leftism
Could list plenty but these 2 are special ππ₯³π€―π½

Leftism is immense. It's been a while, I'm gonna have to fish it out the old collection.

Time well spent. As for The Prodigy, I saw them at Glasto in '95. They were flying high off the back of Music for the Jilted Generation. I vividly remember Keith (RIP) rolling onto the stage in a giant hamster ball. They were awesome. So much energy.

dark side by pink floyd and blonde by frank ocean. i absolutely rinse both year after year :)

Full albums I've actually listened to over and over are "The Wall" & "Graceland"
Really love listening to Graceland on a fresh sativa high)
Really love listening to Graceland on a fresh sativa high)

Graceland brings back memories of my mum blasting that album most days when I was a kid

That's how I first heard it too when my mums friend got them the album back in the early 80s)

Tom Waits "Blue Valentine", Ry Cooder "Bop Till You Drop" - honourable mention to Joni Mitchell "Blue", Janis Joplin "Pearl", David Crosby "If I Could Only Remember My Name", and a gazillion others...

I know Iβm cheating but I got
Outkast- Aquemini (and stankonia)
Fugees - The Score
Jay Z - The Blueprint
Kanye - MBDTF
Nas- Illmatic

If you donβt knowβ¦wake up! π―β€οΈ

Iβm a grump about Ill Communication. It has some great tracks on it. But the jazz filler does nothing for me.

What's going on- Marvin Gaye..almost goes as a mix album the way the songs blend into one another. So relevant to today too.
Another I've played to death over the years is Joni Mitchell- Blue. Just a sublimely chilled album.
Many more, but these two I think I have probably played the most in my lifetime so far

I can safely say that Appetite for Destruction is the album I've listened to the most. Carousel by Subcircus has had well over 20 years love from me as well

Dark Side of the Moon has got to be my first pick. Millionaires by James is great when you've got some sativa running through your system.

The b-side of the sit down single is Live at the Manchester Gmex. On headphones is still the best crowd singing of a song to date.

Never heard Dub Side of the Moon until today- bloody greatπ- so big thanks for the heads up!!!

Wow!!!! Just WOW!
Dubside of the moon π

2 is incredibly difficult, and I can't be the only one with eclectic tastes and a butterfly mind where these will all change regularly anyway. So I'll go with:
Ash - 1977
and
Kent - Hagnesta Hill (available in English and Swedish, so surely I get to choose both?)

I once worked on a tour of Denmark and Kent played , your comment is the only other time Iβve heard of them lol

That's so cool! Is this weird? The most unbelievably amazing band that almost no-one has ever heard of, or so it seems. They filled stadia in Scandinavia.

"The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd: Released in 1973, this album is considered a masterpiece and one of the greatest progressive rock albums of all time. It features a conceptually unified theme and explores various philosophical and existential topics. Tracks like "Money," "Time," and "Us and Them" are widely loved.
"Thriller" by Michael Jackson: Released in 1982, "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time and a cultural phenomenon. It revolutionized pop music, blending various genres and delivering iconic hits such as "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and the title track "Thriller."

Muse - Absolution( regardless if you like the band the story of the end of the world from start to end is amazing!)
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

Dark Side of the Moon, best album ever, bar none. 50 years old this year, same as me!
950 weeks on Billboard 200 chart! 750 of them consecutive!!
Lee 'Scratch" Perry - Open the Gate. Sadly deleted and expensive to buy, but can be downloaded online. 2 CDs of heavyweight 12". Jimmy Cliff got me listening to reggae, this album burnt it into my soul.

This is tough but going on repeats alone I reckon these pip it,
Riding with the king - Clapton and BB King
We're new here - Jamie xx and Gil Scott-Heron

So glad someone has shouted out Jamie xx, amazingly talented music producer the first album with him and his sister The Xx I canβt even guess how many times Iβve listened to it, song 1 known as intro is a work of art. Iβm gutted they or he have released so little but sadly he probably earns more producing for other artists who are more mainstream?
Not heard of your other suggestions but will check them out based on your clearly good taste !

There are loads of full albums Iβll listen toβ¦naming just two, well the two most recent ones that spring to mind for me Acid Bath-when the kite string pops and Oasis - definitely maybe not a bad track on either one.

My picks:
The Velvet Underground & Nico - just a classic album. Spaceman 3 "The Perfect Prescription" with an honorable mention for Ode to Street Hassle

Its an absolute epic album. That bit in Fountain and Fairfax where Happy Chichester's piano wraps around Barb's cello is heaven. Its as good an album as Black Love for sure, some fans prefer it but BL is the GOAT.

Script of the Bridge by The Chameleons. Some friends told me they would bury the album with me, I'd go to sleep listening to it.
Scary Monsters by Bowie, time of life thing for me 'Teenage Wildlife'.

Mrdeeds36, yes it is, blinding track, good to hear from another fan. 'Up the down escalator' is my anthem for a crazy world today.

I adore this period of post punk before brit pop came along and fudged it. IMO lol
Swamp Thing from Strange Times is another brilliant song.

Hi Mate, Got 'Script of the bridge' playing again this weekend. The album seems more poignant than ever.
Light up and have a good weekend.

Hey bud, I'm well thanks and intend to have a good weekend, it's my bday on Monday so have started early with some very nice and mood lifting Cap Junky, then for some stand up comedy me thinks.
Script of the Bridge will always be applicable to me. Finding some albums feels like finding treasure and it's one of those albums, as is From the lions mouth by The Sound, which if you haven't heard I profoundly recommend. Have a good'n mate and tell me, what are you smoking on matey and have you chonged anything recently with strong euphoric/giggly affects?

Happy Birthday mate.
I will be listening to that recommendation later today.
Smoking 'red apple' Leb, 'apple tart' Maroc hashish and just got some 'Sunset Sherbet' and 'Billy Kimber' bud, all amazing.

Hi Mr, Really liked that album, how did I miss that? Do you like 'sad lovers and giants' and 'and also the trees' ?

Never heard of either band before this shout. I listened to Epic Garden Music this morning on a hike and it's fantastic love the use of the keyboard and you can really hear early elements of shoegaze taking shape on tracks like "Lope" and "ART".. This is a very good band crisp.. Try listening to Soul Mining and Dusk by The The and tell me what you think. Anyway stay cool compadre.

dEUS The Ideal Crash and Pretty Hate Machine NIN. Never tire of those two... There are many more but these two popped out my cheesebox first.

Hard to pick just 2, and I see a nearly all male list below...so:
Baduizm - Erykah Badu
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush
Midtown 120 Blues - DJ Sprinkles (couldn't leave this utter classic out!)

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless. Still sounds like nothing else.

Cheap Thrills - Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company. Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Both are extraordinary (to me, anyway) with a good dose of THC.

Just 2 β¦thats tricky!!

Bit random but....
E99 eternal - bone thugs
Favourite worst nightmare - arctic monkeys

Reading the comments, weβre such a bunch of mixed people here haha (GOOD) I think I saw every genre. I donβt really have 1 album I like but itβs one song from a few if you get me.

For me it's got to be lupe fiasco lasers album deluxe edition. And Hopsin No shame album. Can listen to every song on both and never get bored

Booze, Weed, or Amitriptyline?
(Tip: please say Weed!)
I have a mixed selection of pain issues including a double stenosis, which because itβs all recent and wonβt get better is probably taking me into mild depression. I usually rely on the booze, not because it works that well but because I have always loved booze.
Having found this site I am very excited about the potential of all these quality strains that are new to me.
In the meantime my Doc wants me on the Amitriptyline. He thinks I am- but I have a drawer full. Never started.
So biggaz, what varieties commonly found here are best to ease my woes??....I bet you know!...and Iβll sure appreciate it (vendors welcome!)..

One thing you haven't listed that you may want to consider is RSO or Rick Simpson Oil. Couple of vendors sell it but one particular one specialises in it called Oilman and he's very professional. I've used RSO a few times for arthritis pain and it works really well.

Thanks, that’s really interesting. How do you actually ‘use’ an oil? (Sorry if that’s a real noob question!)

It comes in a 1ml syringe way I use it is I put a bit about the size of a grain of rice in my mouth, leave it to swill about for around 5 mins and swallow. Starts working after an hour or so but its a bit faster acting doing it after a meal. I'm currently suffering badly with avascular necrosis of the hip joint taking the oil helps me walk without a stick.

Fascinating, thanks. But is it also a good high?...can you drink booze at the same time? Glad to hear you get relief amigo...

i found i used way more than intended like i took a whole mil wasnt enough so i did 2mil and had a good high but i found if i dont smoke and only have RSO id run out of cash real quick best i stick too smoke even though me lungs are almost cooked haha

Cheers dude I've heard people have good experiences drinking with RSO but it's not something I've tried. For me the high by its self in high doses is a bit like taking a tranquilizer, but I always use it 3 hours before going to sleep(it really helps if you have sleep issues too). One thing I have noticed it works better after eating and hits faster the longer it's kept in the mouth.

Pleaseeee dont take those, I would strongly advise not to take the amitriptyline, through that shit in the bin!
This is tough for me to say but i feel like i should explain my experience with amitriptyline,,,,
My doctor prescribed me that for nerve damage, it was ok for a while untill i increased the dose. Then came the horrific headaches which lasted for days. This drug affects the chemical balance of your brain, when i stopped taking it I had the scariest mental episode, which ill try and explain. I was sitting at my desk everything was fine and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to get up and hurt myself, it was like someone else was controlling my thoughts. I was terrified but aware the whole time, I sat there frozen for 2 hrs as i dear not move, I was fighting myself not to get up as i didnt know what I was about to do. This is not like me at all and as you can imagine was terrifying! 90% of the medications they give can be replaced with cannabis, with far less side affects. Go for an indica dominant plant any of the dawg strains allways work best for my pain relief, there my go to and are really effective. The booze is your choice but it has wreaked my nervous system over the years and have several nurological problems due to alcohol. Stick with the weed and get those body repairing cannabanoids in ya, its the best medicine ;) Gl with the pain relief, stay safe stay medicated.

Wow, amigo, reading that makes me very happy that the pills are just taking up drawer space despite what my doc thinks!
I’ve got a life long quality relationship with booze that I don’t want to end but it’s not classically therapeutic. So yes, I agree entirely that having found this site it’s time to explore the wonders of weed...thanks for sharing!

yeah deep aint it. The problem is with doctors they are educated poorly on medications, take this drug or take this, mainly man made garbage that gives bigger problems than what you are trying to fix. Run by big pharma companies, scared of this devils plant. cannabis has been used medicinally by EVERY culture on the planet for thousands of years untill they gave it a bad rep. They dont want you growing your own medicine, which we should all have the right to! I have bad information and because I cant take anti-inflammatory,s the doctor said nothing I can do for you. Ive found that tumeeric helps massively but they dont tell you that because of poor education. Nature knows best

this is more the tree of life than the devils plant https://www.cannabisculture.com/content/2018/05/19/cannabis-the-once-and-future-tree-of-life/

You’re right- you’ve just gotta follow the money. There is no money for big pharma in supplements like turmeric, or generics like aspirin or curing cancer rather than easing symptoms. I’m not saying there aren’t modern medicines that work but they only hit the market when the price is right!

Easier said than done but booze should be a last resort. Hope the weed helps you; and would be my recommendation. Listen to the doctor if it doesn't.

no worries mate. really comes down to personal preference but I like a nice haze or mimosa. half the fun for me is trying new strains. look at the genetics when you buy so you get an idea for what works best for you. maybe try a heavy indica for the pain. let me know if you need me to look over any listings for you before buying.

Thanks, that’s interesting. I’ve put both an Amnesia Haze and a Mimosa in my ‘basket’, but yet to try. So much to sample, it’s gonna be a journey! What do you think about Shatter?...or edibles generally?...

just start slow once mixed a few times the world stops spinning and you get wrecked and can live to tell the tale :)

If it is pain then RSO is the baby, been using it for years for spondylosis of the neck, you can drink with it however like any weed it is not a good idea to use after you are drunk.
Oh it also cuts back your consumption of other cannabis as a joint on top of some RSO will blow your tits off in a good way lol

Well check out Oilman he has top quality RSO,1ml is a lot of oil and his prices and stealth are excellent ;)
Just ordered some myself :)

Im on amitriptyline for migraines but i dont take it on nights i smoke or drink. Just be careful abt mixing them :0

You should try a TENS machine for your back pain. Cheap & no side-effects. Min hr at a time a few times a day and stick at it for a few weeks. Strange sensation, but you get used to it after a couple of sessions. After more than a decade of chronic back pain from degenerate discs, the TENS has been more effective than any of the meds or methods I have tried.

Well that’s very interesting DTB ‘cos the missus bought me a TENS kit and it’s been sitting in its box on my desk where I have been eyeing it sceptically for some time having no idea what its all about! (reading the instructions being the last resort!!) I’ve got nothing to lose so many thanks for the heads up, and the wifey will stop nagging me too!

Essentially you're trying to re-train your brain so it stops interpreting that nerve signal as pain, or at least turn the volume down, and that's why the sessions need to be at least an hour long. It's a gradual process. Sometimes I'll wear mine for 3-4 hours if I'm doing a spot of DIY or any job which stresses my back. Hope you get some benefit man!

For anyone who doesn't feel confident about making their own edibles, it is easy enough. Take pretty much any off the shelf brownie mix - tesco own have their own cardboard baking tray inside so even if your kitchen is lacking in utensils, there's no need to worry. For any mix which says to use oil, just substitute with butter. From my experience, a 125g pack of butter does 2 brownie mixes, (which usually say to add 50g butter or 50ml oil). Just use two mixes together or split the butter in half. At most you also need to add a couple of eggs and a dribble of water, depending on mixture, it really is that simple. Each mix should give 12 - 16 brownies, but even a half gives a very nice buzz. The brownies can be frozen and defrosted as desired. I always end up utterly baked myself when cooking because I scrape the butter pack clean while mixing, lick the spoons and bowl after emptying into the tray, then scrape the tray after taking out the brownies. Completely wasted...every single time.
It's the freezing bit which some people might not appreciate - just cut off half a brownie, 15 secs in the microwaaaveyyyy and you're ready to eat. Also, the butter can be frozen so you can use half a 125g pack for a single pack of brownies at a time if you don't want your freezer filled with edibles.

Nice one mate, I used a brand called Clear eyes back home in Australia. Worked spot on. Iβve been through 3 different ones over her that donβt do Dudley squat. Iβll give the Tesco ones a crack!

Not sure if they are the best in the UK but I was very surprised as these are 100% effective
