How to stop side burn
Was just wondering how do people prevent and what solutions do people do when it comes to sideburn?
Occasional loose pocket (happens occasional π¬) on the roll and just damp down heavier en it π
A proper clean roll. Get that right and side burn is rarely an issue. Ensuring the joint packed down properly, with no large air gaps.
Good quality product. Finely ground. Each bit of flower varies, so does the grind it requires to smoke well.
When smoking avoid long drags. Keep puffs short to medium.
Touch up joint with a lighter when going awry to bring the burn in line.
Getting the basics right and you still get side burn.
As others have said lick the finger and dab it where there is side burn.
When holding the joint, keep the side burn on the under side.
When taking pulls keep side burn on the upper side.

jar your weed with 62% humidity packs, if you do backy and weed that should be enough providing you grind the weed. Make sure you tap down the joint propery to compact and remove loose parts of the joint.
I have noticed that topping down the joint results in a harder pull!
I like my joints a little more airy to allow flow. This is has resulted in tapping the joint and then running my fingers up the joint to loosen it back out a little bit

fair one, i dont mind a hard pull. the looseness is probaby the root cause of most of you problem with the side burning, id imagine best in your case if your bacy and weed, maybe try layering it a little. Good luck!
Yeah so I layer it already but I found that a little trick to do is grind your vaccine up aswell whilst also layering it!

Mix.your backy and herb in the grinder lid or in a small ramekin or bowl before rolling and then you should find this happening a lot less, also 'tapping' the doobie to organise the contents will slightly shorten the j but also help prevent this
Imo, if its packed correctly I never get sideburn.
Note if your mixing with baccie though. Do a smaller layer of baccie first, layer the weed, then another small layer of bacci on top. That solved any side burn issues I had when I smoked mixes

Exactly as Zapgaz says - little dab of saliva just at the head of the fast burn. Also, turn the bifter so the slow burning bit is at the top. I'm the habit of doing both of these without really thinking about it every few draws just to maintain an even burn.
Yeah so I find putting the slow burning bit at the top so it over hangs burns off. I just although scientifically heat rises and show it should sort the side burn out if the heat is rising into it!

My method is that I don't roll the spliff tight, it's more that I roll a perfect cone that the weed sits in. Then several hard taps on the table. I lose a centimetre from the top of the spliff, but I can't remember the last time I had side burn. I also use actitube charcoal filters, so never get roach ick, and it's a smoother smoke.

Pack it tightly , and at the top . So no weed is showing . and then pierce it down the middle with a pin that will go all the way to the filter .

Im usually using a safety razor and beard trimmer combo. And a little shaving foam.
When you backstrap / reverse roll you virtually never get side burn. It takes a short while to learn but is worth it.

Really good weed doesn't sideburn if all the different factors are lined up. It has to be not to dry,definitely not still damp or quicky cured and, in my largely overrated opinion, picked apart by fingers not ground down by a grinder. Grinders dust up your weed to much and it burns at a slower speed. When you pick it into its natural bits n bobs it seems to burn way better. Maybe it's just me. We all have our little rituals πΆβπ«οΈ
I only ever had a problem with it when I bought poor quality weed. I think it comes down to being good at rolling and having good weed.
I do layers, especially with hash. For hash, I'll do a layer of tobacco and middle layer of hash and then a bit more tobacco so the hash is in the middle of the joint.

I find the 3.5g option to be a waste personally, itβs done as soon as it arrives for me. Seen good reviews for for Β£95 + delivery a 3.5 is a bit absurd imo

Thats a difficult one for us, we will have to stick with the drugs as our tastes in sex and music might scare away the customers :)

More flower is hopefully on the way we estimate if everything goes to plan it should be the 1st week in March and the next batch should be a tad bit cheaper, we did have some lower grade stuff shipped in January but it arrived empty thanks to customs so hopefully the second time is successful, from memory it is some Pineapple Express but unfortunately with the flower it is a wait and see/hope it arrives situation :)

We will speak to our supplier but they tend to stay away from anything like that as its only stocked in very low quantities in our area, we can see one strain available but we can't check stock so we imagine they don't have much :/

Hash Rosin will be listed tonight or in the Morning and the Kief will be around mid March, we actually had Kief in stock in January but it goes very quickly and once we purchase any product from Canada it takes up to 4 weeks to be delivered so we appreciate it is a long wait when you really want a product but it is unfortunately out of our control :)

sometimes i like to just pop on an album that takes me to another world. two most recent arctic monkeys albums are great for it, i feel like i'm floating through the galaxy whenever i listen to
DJ Shadowβs Endtroducing for me. One of the few multi format albums I own that Iβve had to replace several times cos Iβve worn it out. Freaks me out that itβs nearly 30 years old, it blew my mind then and it still does now. A masterpiece of a sonic journey.
I drove 400 miles to see him DJ. Got realy high then kinda drive home 400 miles. The good old days of 1996.
I second both of these choices. I came here to say the 2nd as clearly the thread title leads anyone who knows the album to think of it. Saw them play it live about 20 years ago, and they were superb.

At one point Spiritualized were my most seen band. Overtaken by Morcheeba by the end of the 90s (i used to go on tour with them tho). Smoke Fairies are up there now too.

The original Dreamfish album was amazing back in the day. I remember getting a cassette tape copy from a guy at school and listening to it on headphones after a spliff which blew my mind. Got the CD off eBay years later and it's still good for an ambient chillout option.
Iβve got the vinyl of that! Quality Fax output. That label did loads of amazing CDs and they were all limited to between 200-500 copies onlyβ¦.
Sweet, I'll need to check my copy then. I might have bagged a rarity if it's the same label! π

Tripping with Nils Frahm is great for a spacey floaty experience. Seeing him live is even better.

Snooker is great when stoned
Very relaxing
Deffo π― used to fish as a nipper and finally got round to getting back into it a couple of years back. Even had a guy who dropped off at me local spot π€£ππ£
Fishing tops it for me, pool and darts too,nothing too energy intensive but swimming is always good
Archery is fun. I once bought from a guy who had a bunch of targets set up in his garden and would let me shoot a few arrows when I picked up.
I hit the gym stoned, take saunas stoned, go mountain hiking stoned, go cycling stoned, but there is zero competitive nature... As I'm lazy!

To watch or participate? If its just to watch I can watch any old shite stoned. Found myself watching lawn bowls once, but you can't beat topless volleyball. To participate being stoned, well, gotta be driving, personally I drive much better after a smoke and have more patience with others. The fact I have no licence for a year is a testimony to that, dunno why the courts don't share my opinion, cunts
