I have no doubt that Jesus was a real person and have read a number of good books on the subject. My favourite is ‘Holy Blood & The Holy Grail’ which examines the theory that Jesus was actually high born, had a real if tenuous claim to be King of the Jews and that this together with his non stop preaching is what pissed the Romans off. He actually married Mary Magdelane at the wedding at Cana (as a lowly carpenter’s son he would not have been invited to what was a society wedding) and because the Romans wanted rid of him his followers negotiated with Pontius to ‘disappear’ him rather than see him imprisoned and they did rather a good job of this! They cut him from the cross, hid him a got him out of there in what would become to be known as the ‘resurrection’.
He died not long after in Europe, but Magdelane was pregnant and there became a huge mission to protect his bloodline. The holy grail was in fact a symbol for her womb. She bore his child and died in France. The knights Templar have protected the bloodline and it’s believed his descendants are alive today.

Jesus was irrefutable as a real living person, Christians believe he was the son of God. Thats what their faith boils down to, you believe he could perform miracles or you dont, however Christ existed as a mortal being. Whether he rose from the dead etc is where faith derives, you believe or you dont.

Just diving in because it's a music thread and I'm crazy about music. That said I love all kinds from blues to classical, from jazz to opera, and of course hard rock, synth, pop, soul and everything else - apart from rap. The one music genre that does absolutely nothing for me. Bought the 12" of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash when it was released and still have it. And that's pretty much where it started and then ended for me...apart from the Fugees doing "Killing Me Softly", but that's all about Lauryn Hill, which is another story.

Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.
I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

I was going so say mimosa, no matter how good it is, those orange terps remind me of burning rubber. Strange.
So glad I’m not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.
I’d say Stardawg too, just because it was fuckin everywhere and was normally sub par.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.
I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the “mouth watering “ descriptions completely pass me by…occasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyho…

I hear you, I’d say I’m less of a flavour hunter too and more just looking for ways to encourage variety. I’ve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. I’m not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbh…

Bang on, I’m not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.
Hate the taste but iv yet to find a strain that is almost comparable to taking codine for feel good factor. I’ll smoke dry straw for that

The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. It’s always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

Lemon Tree is the strain I most dislike. I use to love a good lemon skunk or lemon haze 20 years ago. Not the same anymore.
Super silver haze. Smelled like cats piss and had no body high. Muscles felt restless and uncomfortable.
All 'Haze' are sativa dominant aren't they, so yeah, you get the head high but no body chill. I know what you mean about muscles feeling that way - I get achey neck/shoulders and back and no body chill, and that's with various hybrids.
that's an easy answer ... any that don't get me high (normally not a strain blame, more a grower blame) ... so reckons the jackal 😎😎
Way back I got some free seeds with the seeds I ordered. NYC diesel they were, so I grew them and was so disappointed, it tasted awful. Haven't really gone for diesel since. Have smoked loads of diesel cross.

I've not tried the Tropicana strains, but I do agree about the Tangies as I don't get on with the taste of them either.
Tropicana strains when grown well are top tier however in my experience they seem to be hard strains to get right, I’ve probably tried 10-15 different versions of Tropicana cookie/cherry/banana and only 2 of them were really good (but I mean really good) a few of them were alright (nothing to write home about) and the rest were pretty awful with almost no terps and black ash.
I get a vibe from some strains, mainly I’d describe more indica leaning and berry types.
Makes me introspective. Can get dark. But it’s also when you swim in the creative madness of semi-subconscious which when young, or in the wrong place can be no different than a mushroom experience.

At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

To be fair to the vendors on here I've not had any of the strains I've mentioned from anyone on LB. There's definitely more exciting strains to me available here so I'm unlikely to backtrack just to make sure I don't like it though.
My gorilla grow of 10 strains that was rumbled contained GG.

Never been a big fan of Papaya strains, always got a weird taste to them that doesn’t agree with me.
I don't get the haze hate though I love Silver Bubble / SSH / Arjans Strawberry Haze / Mango Haze / Blue Dream etc
My sense of taste and smell never recovered from COVID so it can be difficult getting the flavour and smell nuances between strains. I can taste and smell the extremes though, crap and amazing. My preference is definitely Indica leaning as I've got older. I don't want to be introspective, going over all my life's choices! A lot of hybrids are fine. Don't have time for hazes.

Dislike any orange strains personally. Also not a huge fan of gelato 41. It’s too sweet and lingers on the lips in our opinion. If you enjoy the sweeter strains then probably your cup of tea
Iv not figured out the common denominator but some strains have me feeling I can’t be arsed with anyone or anything in a none good way and like a what’s the point type feeling.

I think you're either a spiritually open minded person or you're not, i don't think weed has anything to do with it.
DMT, and (as Polly has said), mushrooms and even LSD might change a person's outlook on spirituality, but i doubt if weed can even come close.
I've known some very spiritual and lovely people who are completely drug and alcohol free, and some complete arseholes who smoke weed all day every day and are about as close to being spiritual as i am to being an elf.
I think it really depends upon the individual.

Mental health challenges over the last 12 months have made me stop, reflect and really open my mind to appreciate everything around me down to the little things. Before this I wasn’t always present in the moment so less connected. I definitely feel more content the way I am now

Dunno mate…I’ve had ‘moments of clarity’ on weed that have stayed with me in a very positive way, I’m a drinker and often think I have moments of clarity on the booze, but (probably thankfully) they don’t withstand the sober lights of day 😉
Me and an old mate were convinced we came up with the best ideas when we were stoned, but we could never remember them so we set up a dictaphone (yeah i am that old!) and listened back to a session when we were sober.
Complete and utter jibberish. Worst ideas ever. It was actually comical how much nonsense we were chatting.
I'm certainly not saying everybody is the same but i think those moments are best left in the moment and (being a drinker myself too) the alcohol inspired ones even more so!
It's still a lot of fun trying to solve the worlds problems when slightly off kilter in one way or another though! Someone's got to do it... ;)

Funny how We always think of our true selves, (stripped from social and psychological strains) as rebellious, don’t you think? As in : the dumb side of us is the imposed artificial superficial layer which manifests 90% of the time and the high/drunk/crazy (though I prefer to call it rebellious) side of is who we are truly.

The vast majority essentially revolved around incredible, innovative business strategies to get mega rich, quick.
One of the few I can remember involved buying old ice cream vans and converting them into pasta vans, (because everyone loves pasta!) That kind of idea we would discuss for about 2 or 3 hours, whilst forgetting the whole "practicality" of hygiene certificates, boiling water in a van travelling around roundabouts, pasta needing to be cooked 'al dente' or any other of the numerous 'real world' aspects to that kind of venture.
It was basically all dreams with no real substance, but it was such great fun talking about it when we were high as kites, and even just listening back to it was a laugh. I wish I had kept the tapes but alas they've been lost, as with so many other things I should've kept hold of.
Fun times nonetheless. 💚

I think a lot of weed plus a little help from the environment can open a near psychedelic gateway. I tripped once just from a few bong-loads and a National Geographic map of the universe.
I’d say, as a drug, on the whole it’s more likely to challenge the ego than many others. The relationship with the ego being core to any sort of spirituality imo. There are so many variables though. Like BB says, plenty of arseholes who smoke 😂

Cannabis aiding spirituality? The only aid I can see is that cannabis used with mushrooms seems to heighten the effect and reduce anxiety induced by high doses of psilocybin. Based on set and setting, a user can break free of stuck modalities of thought and enter the spirit world. In summary, cannabis can be an adjunct to creating a spiritual experience when combined with mushrooms

I take more of a humanist perspective these days so I struggle to say what being "spiritual" even means exactly.
That said, I think weed can give us something of a rush of joy and wonder that can help appreciate and reframe stuff. Also, a deeper interest in things we might otherwise not have noticed: not always a good thing, e.g. when you think truly banal things are profound. Sometimes it helps reach a more introspective viewpoint. This last one can be damaging if you allow yourself to become a navel-gazing, reclusive stoner though ... at least that has been the case for me: everyone is different I guess.
Where it may also hamper personal development is where you use it to avoid or put off difficult emotions until later: definitely been guilty of this one too.

I am going to try shrooms soon, something I've always been interested in and having done a couple of ceremonies I will throw myself in at deep end with shrooms, happy to report back after.

I still sustain that for most cases weed does aid spiritual growth, in my own humble opinion, because if anything it calms people down and that has been a must for every human being in this planet including myself “Calm down..”
Ayahuasca ceremonies are something else different all together. First of all the Shaman guiding the ceremony has to be authentic. Never tried but will someday definitely!

I feel as though I am in a position to post on this subject to verify that THC definitely does prevent migraine. During 18 months of being on LB, my hash consumption has been consistent up until now, with a few forced T breaks during Nov and Dec due to RM delays and additional dry days here and there. I have suffered from chronic migraines for over 10 years but the last year and half have been amazing where they have been largely absent, I believe this is because of the quality hash I have been exposed to... Take that away now for a few days and I'm left with ever so familar and debilitating migraines. Interesting to hear who else is a migraine sufferer and how THC helps them.

Hey, i get thunderclap headaches, they usually range from 10-20 seconds every few hours, i find personally that weed helps decrease the time that they persist and increases the length between each one.
Though i've heared its different for other people, its really a per-person thing, not everyones body will react the same way

I used to get migraines every few weeks until I started taking balanced oil (CBD 12: THC 10) in microdoses a couple of years ago. The effects have been astonishing - I’ve barely had a migraine since. I’d tried all sorts of medications before but none of them worked as well as the oil and they had nasty side effects

My dad and mum both went out with cancer, leukemia and breast cancer. Loads more relatives too so I reckon I am going to be fighting a melanoma sooner or later. Also figure it's going to be tiny and undetected at start. So why not act like its there now? Could give a rats ass about side effects since I'm going to face them anyway why not while the drugs are super strong and possibly more effective?
No is the answer, not true treatments anyways, chemo will have no benefit in any form if there’s no cancer… As to doing your best to prevent, of course, eat well, drink less alcohol, make sure you keep your body as clear as you can of free radicals using supplements, many many ways you can likely prolong the inevitable if it is truly indeed inevitable but you can’t fight genetic code but you can make sure all the other systems are running as optimally as possible through lifestyle and supplementation.
just get regular checkups. In a lot of cases, the treatment can be worse than the disease. I first was diagnosed with NHL in 2008 but didn't need treatment until 2018 & if I had been smart I would have a avoided a lot (or all) of the treatment I'm receiving. Treatment can also increase your chances of getting a different type of cancer later in life.

To test cold therapy’s potential, Yihai Cao at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and his colleagues implanted five different types of cancerous cells into a group of mice. Some of the rodents were then continuously exposed to very low temperatures, but above freezing, for 20 days.
This exposure activated the mice’s brown fat tissue, which burns energy rather than storing it, reducing the tumours’ energy supply.
These mice went on to have considerable tumour inhibition and a survival rate that was almost double that of mice that received no treatment.
“This is really something new: not directly targeting cancer cells, but rather altering global metabolism in the body to affect tumours,” says Cao.
To eliminate the possibility that the tumour suppression was down to something other than the cold therapy, Cao and his team intervened in several ways. After surgically removing the cold-exposed mice’s brown fat, or turning off the gene by which brown fat generates heat, tumour inhibition was absent.
The inhibition was also absent when the mice were fed a high-glucose diet, suggesting that the tumours’ growth was inhibited by a lack of glucose. The team also performed a genetic analysis on the cold-exposed tumours, finding a decrease in markers associated with glucose consumption.
In a second part of the experiment, Cao and his team exposed a group of six healthy human volunteers to 16°C (61°F) for 2 to 6 hours a day for two weeks. Similarly to the mice, the volunteers’ brown fat tissue became activated.

Any biggaz doing 16:8?

We are all over fasting 16:8 / OMAD (One Meal a Day) - 24 and 72 hour fasts, highly recommend it. There are so many facets to it, physically and emotionally better, clearer mind, feeling of connection and spirituality.
Couple of pointers that really helped us in the early stages:
1. You need to have a good relationship with food before you embark on any type of fasting
2. Think about the types of foods you regularly eat - heavy on carbs, processed foods, levels of protein and fats. Carbs tend to generate appetite and cause those hunger pains so its worth thinking about balancing more with proteins / fats so you can move your body into sources of energy from good fats / protein.
3. Do you eat breakfast or skip? Normally eat late dinners. Worth working out when is best to have the 16:8 period - tends to be easier to skip breakfast and have your eating window between 12-8pm
4. Making sure that the last meal you eat is as "nutritious" as possible. Meaning making sure its fully of good, healthy foods reach with good fats as these are the last to leave the digestive system and therefore provide satiety.
5. Make sure you keep busy for the first few days you do your fast as you will probably think about food more because you are restricting yourself (typical when you cant have something, its all you think about!). After a few days you will start to get into a rhythm with it.
5. Try not to fall into the temptation of over-eating or treating yourself to "naughty" foods because you have been so good in the day ;-)
Hope that helps friend, fasting is part of our lives now and not only have we seen weight loss but we have much more energy, we don't seem to get sick anymore and more importantly we have a better understanding of what foods work and don't serve us

Totally into it. I tend to eat within an 8 hour window everyday and I have never been healthier (I'm 40 btw). Me and me mammy were talking about this for her digestion yesterday. She's even starting to have trouble with some veg so her digestion needs addressing.

Are you into fitness, nutrition etc mate? Not that it specifically had its benefits to the fitness industry but how I used it anyway. I'd highly recommend it as wirght loss technique and to improve general life health. I'd retype what psycho typed but he pretty much everything on the head
The wife and I have just started IF again. It's the only way I have been able to control my weight consistently in the last 14 years. I have tried all the fad diets and this is the only way I have managed to stick to a consistent weight.
I guess it's still about less calories in than our but just controlling it in an easier manor.

In some parts of India fasting it's referred has Ekadashi (2 x month)
It's align with moon phase and when our bodies are more open to this process.

I find with Firefox on Android I can get your page to load in about 30-40 seconds, which is still a pain but not too bad.

I don't think I'm going anywhere anytime soon, haha. To quote you, Big Roo, ( big up ☺️ ), I read this on your manifesto thing -"I love this place, it feels like home" - Really resonated with me. Bit cringe-ely up close and personal, but I'm going to say it anyway - I had parents who couldn't accept that their child had learning difficulties, and moved me from school to school to school during primary /middle school. All this did was make me feel that I didn't fit in or belong anywhere, and as is often the case with stuff that happens during such formative years, these belief systems tend to become hardwired as the blueprint for how the rest of your years will pan out. I've Always struggled with feeling like the perpetual outsider, but not here :))) even on other forums I've been on, say, about my pets, I'd go on them for a few months, and as soon as someone was mean or critical I'd peg it. But on here I have actually been called ridiculous, fake, desperate, attention seeking and honestly I think most of those things are probably true, but when I've come on here, out of my tree tripping my face off and bang on about how much I love this place and my friends here, I totally mean it, and the 'fake', bit definitely isn't true :) And normally hearing stuff like that I'd be gone , lickety - split, but because I know so much that I have some seriously good, REAL friends here, it's not so hard to weather the horrible stuff :))) and I love it here, even though I'm very aware that this place is definitely not all sweetness and light, and let's face it, a place that you really do need to be super cautious in, I've made friends for the first time in a long time, and I love it so much. Mosttly i smoke weed and dimitri together and trip on it opened eyed.
My first experience with it, i felt my old self returning, myself from late teens when i was a bit of an a-hole, at 19 is when i found Christianity and that changed my ways. That person from before i felt return, i laughed out loud or something and noticed it was my old laugh that i've not heard in decades, then i realized i was my old self again and smiled just how my old self would.
This i found interesting at time but didn't think much of it, (i'd had a visit from my former self, no biggie) after that i had wisdom imparted to me and made many connections i didn't realize where there.
Eventually broke through and met the elves when going shut eyed, met them a number of times and had many experiences you hear about around dimitri.
I like to party on dmt with canna, you can go for hours and hours on them both, it's a totally carefree feeling, you get really high that's for sure.
It's at these times i feel the bad influence, satanic seduction, Christian defilement, and other lesser nasties (none illegal just very non-Christian.
I feel like i'm being pushed to the dark side at these times.
It's like the dmt canna mix is just that good nothing else matters, it takes over and the next thing you know you're watching some satanic seductress yelling 'hail s_tan' and much worse attempting to convert you.
The shamans talk about the entities as 'good spirits' and when you ask them to explain they say it's our ancestors.
I believe the world you end up in when you breakthrough is real, i believe it's the afterlife. Though i imagine all the souls that have passed are sleeping and what you meet are indeed demons.
I've not met many entities, apart from the elves i guess i met one, if i renounced my religion i bet i'd meet many. I think they just leave me alone when i breakthrough but when i'm partying opened eyed with it is when they try convert me.

So, who's heard of Kent? If you have then you're very into indie rock and realised that it didn't die in the early '00s, it just moved to Scandinavia, or, you're Scandinavian. They released 2 albums in both English and in Swedish out of the 10 or so in their catalogue. The talent to carry that off is beyond my comprehension. They filled stadiums and arenas, were of the highest quality of musicianship of anyone practicing their craft, and hardly anyone knows who they are.

this seems like it might appeal to a lot of my fellow LB users - especially if you can get to London, Cardiff, Edinburgh or Belfast this summer. And it's all totally legal - and completely free!
Sounds intriguing. Turns out there's one happening about a mile from my front door so I may just check it out if I can get the Mrs interested.
So it was interesting - I definitely enjoyed it - but for me it was nothing like doing psychedelics (although they say everyone's experiences are different). You're all led into this circular space, then you lie back on these comfy chairs, with some new age/ambient music playing on surround sound, and close your eyes. The dreamachine then plays lots of strobing white lights - and your mind then produces colours and patterns as a result. It was fun, but not as mind blowing as I had hoped - some reds, blues and brief patterns appeared for me. The visuals were pleasant, but not that special - perhaps they're better for those who've never taken psychedelics before. No competition for some good shrooms, but still a fun afternoon out (for free). I also wonder what it would be like if you go while tripping on something...

Those links will explain it better than i ever could (especially as i don't fully understand it), but it seems to be an updated Dreamachine - a type of art installation/interactive exhibition that uses lots of flashing lights/colours/music to give 'visitors free transcendental experiences without the need for illegal hallucinogenic drugs.' It's touring the UK this summer. Video below does a much better job explaining it than me, but it sounds pretty trippy :-)

Agree if it's just a hobby. If you are going to be a professional musician full time, and are not independently wealthy already, you eventually need to make some kind of a living and pay the rent. And you probably won't get pro-level skills at an instrument/performing/production without being able to put a ton of time into it.
The only solid revenue for musicians these days is touring and merchandise. The income from single & album sales is much lower than it was thanks to mp3 & streaming platforms

I love these snakes, i've food allergies and suffer migranes from nasties in our food (preservatives, carcinogenic colorings etc.)
Glad to report these are clean as a whistle, i imagine very few ingredients, tasty and hit like a truck, i'm feeling fangtastic and i'm gonna sink the other now too after i take pic and have a night of it with these creative, happy, little guys.

It’s a mood lifting, feel great, life enhancing kind of strain. It was Smoggyman’s Portland Mimosa that got me started and oh how I miss that! (And Smoggy!🥲)
So, what do we have here?….I’ve got bud from RB, I’ve got some Dutch bud, I’ve got triple filtered hash from THC, I’ve got a 100% live resin vape pen, sweets and carts from SN2D. I’ve got a TinyMight2, a Mighty, a Vapman, a Puffco Proxy and a Tombstone. I’ll be doing Mimosa many ways!
Let’s start with a little hash in the Proxy. This is a pro device that burns like Hades! I want to look as cool as Bing Crosby but puff too hard on this and you are going to a land far far away but leaving your lungs on the doorstep! The hash is a terps bomb- that mega Mimosa citrus is wild. Crumbles like a Keif. Hits immediately (Mimosa is normally a creeper) and it kinda wants to get my arms up in the air like I just don’t care but is a frontal lobe stoner. It sits heavily….defo one for the hash hounds.
Let’s put RB’s bud in the TM2. You rip (not sip) with the TM2. Fanta like tingle on the tongue. That close one eye tight and squint with the other as you race up fast. And there it is….easing into the opening notes of Wish You Were Here but kind of glad you’re not. (No offence) 😁. I don’t feel good cos I feel great.

Yeah I know, I had a weak moment. I managed to convince myself that I still hadn't found the ultimate portable battery device for hash. In fairness the Proxy is better at extracts than hash but I still prefer the AceCup for my dabs.

So as the world moves on to the latest set of consoles I'm wondering what the biggas think where the best games of the last gen? what are your must plays? did you find any hidden gems? found a good game to play with a spliff in hand? :P
There'll probably be some decent bargains on the way for those games you haven't got round to yet. I'm by no means a hardcore gamer but look forward to taking some recommendations! :)

GTA has to be one of the best games to play when your smashed without a doubt, I could just drive my car round for days when I'm stoned haha
I have an aversion to "wild west" themes but I bet I'd love this as a game if I could get past it. Might give it a try if it comes up extra cheap and see if I can bare the cowboyary lol
These sorts of big single player games have been getting a lot more popular this gen, I hope the trend continues. Ghost of tsushima looks good, obvs Witcher3 for me but Horizon Zero Dawn is another that's just so, so impressive although I couldn't get into it at first.

It was an amazing game to be fair, great story playthough as well switching between the 3. Mad to think it came on the previous gen, it must be almost 10years old now? I wonder if we'll ever get a new one though?
I love racing games so at moment I'm playing Forza Horizon 5 a lot, Red Dead Redemption 2 is worth a look and you'd have to have a heart of stone not to cry playing it.

Smash bros, Mario kart and zelda breath of the wild on the switch. Recently finished god of war and enjoyed that, the first spiderman was good but found the miles morales to be rushed and a glorified dlc.

I recently re discovered the world of Sony PlayStation having been xboxing for years. Got a PS4 on the cheap about 8 months before ps5 came out. Playing their exclusives I have to say some of them are the best, in my opinion of last gen. So my list starts with last of us, last of us 2,any Nathan drake game, horizon dawn. Then you got to have GTA5 and RdDR2. Gems for me are things like little nightmares, hotline Miami 1 & 2. The Res Evil 2 remake was awesome. And my fav game of recent times that has matured like a fine wine, is Days Gone. In case you wondered, I love a zombie apocalypse game….goes well with a spliff or 2. You can get most of these games on the cheap now. A mention for ghost of tshumia , got a ps5 update as well, so if you got a ps5 you can play the last great PS4 exclusive in shiny ps5 mode….
Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, RDR2, GTA are all bangers. See I've gone the other way years been a sony fan boy then tempted by gamepass & jumped to the darkside. Can't go wrong either way

Last of us 2 such a great game, only hated by people who couldn’t get their heads around a more interesting take on seeing different sides of the coin….I won’t say more than that in case of spoiler….

Showing my age now perhaps but I burnt out on 1st person shooters a long time ago. I remember playing half life, unreal tournament and the like, playing the first few CODS and Medal of Honours. These games really haven’t changed that much over the years except with better graphics etc, but maybe that can be said of most genres. At one point first person shooters would be all I played so maybe that is why I rarely play them these daysrecent first person shooter games I enjoyed though are alien isolation and Wolfenstein for a quick blast of ultra violence

Playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla atm, not far from the best in the franchise, and you do need to be a hardcore gamer to have fun.
Minecraft... After this I started feeling beta and watched Mike Tyson videos to restore the balance. Great on last and next gen. Incredibly relaxing.
I'm 46 now and didn't play games much when I was younger but we all used to play Mario Kart on the cartridge console in all sorts of twisted states and used to have a total blast. Recently discovered PUBG on the IPad and am kind of hooked. It's so much fun and you end up doing stupid dances and stuff yet highly skillful also. Skydive in with your mates and let the mayhem commence.
Some of those old school games were the best for playing with a bunch of mates, some other good examples outside of mario kart. How about micro machines, does anyone remember speed ball…..back in the day the original tekken on PS got played a lot in my group, any of the old worms games, v good for taking turns, passing the blunt….
Those kart games are so much fun when stoned with mates, Crash Team Racer was our favourite back in the day good times haha :)
Loved C&C red alert back in the day then halo wars because you could literally set up base start building your army and kick back with a phat joint before going to war😂 sometimes me and a friend would play against each other online and literally wait till everything was maxed out took like 3-4 hours😂and meet in the middle of the map for an epic battle 👌😮💨
Just finished the Mass Effect legendary edition I'm going to put that out there as the best trilogy, first time I've played all 3 properly and on one save - I played it pretty much every day for the past 3 months lol at this point I am Shepard, my best friends are a Quarian named Tali and a Turian named Garrus and I AM commander of the Normandy! :P

I fully understand the aversion to a "cowboy game" and I know millions of people have already lauded rdr2 but.... it is an amazing piece of art. I'm playing it on an original xbox one with a non HD TV and it still looks amazing. The set up where I play it is in a garden shed - I've come back to it tonight for the first time in 2 months (warmer at night now) and it blows cyberpunk 2077 out
of the water (which I'd.been playing on a ps5 and better tv) but not just for looks. RDR2 is so much more of a fully realised world. Anyone that smokes etc etc really needs to experience this game.

If your looking for a multiplayer FPS i highly recommend r6. I play on PC but has alot of console players aswell only game which gets the adrenaline proper pumping for me. High skill gap alot to learn generally fun solo even better with a coordinated stack of friends. edit: Might not be the best game when stoned but it is for me i know a few of my mates who cant play it to well stoned but for me it locks me in even more
