This address has received 5700 transactions in the past few days, each one was for exactly $0.36 incurring ~$10 gas fee each. I assume it has something to do with the RUNES token upgrade that came in with the halving (replacing brc-20). It’s this kind of increased activity causing congestion on the network and raising the fee’s for us bigga’s.

I've noticed a lot of transactions lately where the gas fees are more than the amount sent. Also seen a few wallets with more than $1b in them, and the historic transactions are insane. Maybe there are some things where you don't want to be the one to highlight...

Coinbase was looking for nearly 50 quid earlier to send a fiver worth of bitcoin for me. Just tried again just now (22nd April @ 22.30) and my network fee was only about £3.50 for a ~£50 item.

I really don't know. I've watched documentaries on the theory but haven't made my mind up. I love hearing about alternative views though so I'm going to try Joe Rogan's podcasts mentioned in the conversation. It's kind of fun presenting theories like that to people you know are staunch nonbelievers. I like the reactions you get. I guess I'm open minded about that kind of thing until I get a first hand experience that confirms or denies it.

Göbekli Tepe is super interesting, but it is essentially just an arrangement of carved stones right? Aye the arrangement might be celestial in nature and it’s really cool, and there was a little bit of settlement, but that doesn’t scream advanced civilisation to me. These guys had a lot of time on their hands to watch the sky and learn how to work stone. What you’d want to see is cities, human remains, advanced tools and weapons. The same goes for the pyramids and stone henge, there are no real mysteries here I’m afraid. How these structures were built is pretty well understood other than a couple of relatively minor elements of the building process (like the upper ramp system for the great pyramid for example). For some reason people keep buying the ancient mystery ticket, and frauds like Hancock milk it. His catchphrase is “things keep getting older”, and he’s right, it’s super interesting. That’s where the hard facts end and the twisted ones begin. Check out the MANY debunking videos on the yootubes.

That’s right Göbekli Tepe is made up of many stone megaliths weighing up to 50 tons and 16ft high! But this is just a small proportion of the site. LIDAR has discovered multiple much larger version surrounding it, which would be amazing to look at! And make it a giant site!! But sadly it’s not allowed to be excavated..

Some of these giant megaliths also have 3D like sculptures of animals protruding from them. The crazy thing is they aren’t stuck on.. rather carved from the actual megalith. Which in its self is a great feat of knowledge and skill! Especially with the tools available at the time and the very limited knowledge these hunter gathers had on stone masonry.. So who made and moved all these of many many stones?

Has the pyramid mystery been figured out? To be able to move (from far distances) and hoist 100 plus ton support blocks is crazy! Let alone the rest of the build lol. If a ramp was used it would have to of been miles n miles n miles nmiles long lol. Or the way they say the stone blocks were cut for example. That method has been tested and it took them days I think to just get X amount of millimetres deep!

Yeah I share your enthusiasm for this stuff for sure, we clearly have a common interest and it’s cool that we can discuss it in a friendly way.

It’ll probably not shock you to find out that I’m not an archaeologist or a structural engineer haha. But, there are many videos etc made by archaeologists and structural engineers explaining exactly how the pyramids were built, it’s just that Hancock and Co conveniently ignore them. They’re out there for you to look at man, no mysteries (or very few). Same goes for the writings about the pyramids, I think there are quite a few and they (at least once) referred to the great pyramid as the “Horizon of Khufu”, which is pretty cool imo. Again, I’ve never heard Hancock and Co reference these examples.

On Gobekli Tepe, I did not mean to downplay its importance to real anthropology/archeology. It definitely pushes the envelope back a bit, and many real anthropologists think the envelope will be pushed back further. But we’re not talking about some truly breathtaking advances here. They could clearly work stone and clearly had a strong enough community for such a structure to be built or even wanted in the first place. It clearly had significance to them and was added to over centuries etc etc. None of this was expected given the age of the site, which is exciting. A semi nomadic group or groups of hunter gatherers could work stone pretty well and form core belief structures and shit, that’s cool af as it is! What more could be discovered at that site? What other sites are there out there? Genuinely exciting shit. But we don’t need Hancock and his fantastical ramblings in order to understand it all bro.

Who do you really trust? The completely unqualified journalist (sociology degree, close-ish but no cigar), who has written as much self proclaimed fiction as he has “non-fiction”, who completely misrepresents the evidence and directly ignores anything he doesn’t like. Any theory on how the pyramids were built are just that… a theory. We have nothing to go from except educated guesses. But these guesses still don’t explain how they raised 100 plus ton blocks as supporting megaliths, how they managed to get blocks or megaliths to join with not even a millimetre gap (which you can’t even fit a piece of paper in) or mould SOLID granite megaliths into curves, create vases so accurately symmetrical that the only way to do this now is using tech, those giant granite sarcophagus, etc etc etc..

With Gobekli tepe they are now having to re write history.. Before this discovery we thought hunter gathers had no idea how to do such things… but we still have no evidence they could.. The animal sculptures haven’t been properly explained, and saying oh, well, they must of been more advanced than we thought then.. still doesn’t explain anything..

I think a lot depends on where you buy your coin from. I’ve heard more than a few examples of people sending direct to LB from Coinbase and having their accounts suspended.

I use Exodus myself, but any time you transfer from one place to another it costs a bit extra so that’s something to consider as well.

Since I joined biggy, I have used coinbase, revolut and binance to transfer btc straight from exchange to transaxe wallet.
In 12 months I would say I have used coinbase 60% of the time binance 30% and revolut 10% and made close to 50 purchases.
The only restriction I have had was on revolut, where they suspended my account for 2 weeks whilst they asked the owner of the wallet I sent to.
I didn't particularly care about buying on revolut due to the high fees but I did like that they did not report directly to hmrc. It was easy enough to deposit into revolut then transfer to coinbase. Until I realised I could transfer straight from banking app to coinbase that was.
I told Revolut simply that the owner was transaxe and the coins went into escrow for exchange (which was not a lie). They were happy with this and reinstated my account eventually. Not used since as I don't have the time to do this on each buy.
My method of transferring direct from my bank account to coinbase and exchange to usdc then to bitcoin avoids any fees and is extremely convenient.
Straight from exchange every time and not even had so much as a question from coinbase or my bank.
I do not accept that coinbase blacklist the unique wallet address that transaxe generates. It is unrealistic to think that littlebiggy attracts enough attention.
I expect there are alterior reasons for these suspensions people have described.
My coinbase is still going strong on my first biggy birthday and I am grateful, but not complacent. I have contingency plans ready to go should my coinbase go caput.

Lb wallet addresses seem to get flagged and exchanges cannot be seen to turn a blind eye to this. Sure it will cost a few more pennies but lowers risk of losing exchange service.

I’m no expert on this stuff but transaxe generates a unique address for every transaction. How does that get flagged as going to LB when crypto is supposed to be anonymous? Don’t get me wrong- I totally accept that the FBI say has huge resources to track a purchase of AK47s with crypto with possible success, but for a clear net weed site that’s been on Google for more than a decade? that just does my nut in that an exchange would be able to resource that? Surely a large proportion of crypto purchases are for dodgy gear? 🤷‍♂️

I posted up a podcast about this in the past. Blockchain analysis is pretty straightforward now and if crypto exchanges want to keep their licenses they need to show they’re not facilitating crime.

Whatever new addresses are generated, the funds are going somewhere that can be traced, if the final destination is flagged, or unclear, that’s a flag anyway, if it’s going to a mixer, that alone is criminal in some countries.

Sure it’s been up 10 years, but you don’t wonder what happened to .org? or why we have the LB federation?

Yes, lots of crypto is used for crime so if you can’t demonstrate it’s not criminal, there’s another flag. Same with any bank, if you can’t explain where your money is coming from the bank are legally obliged to act.

I agree with your previous posts that nobody is getting a knock for buying green - nobody is making that clam afaik, but people often post that coinbase have closed their accounts after sending to lb so we’re just discussing avoiding that.
