If you haven't already, I highly recommend playing the Mass Effect trilogy. I know it's a bit old now but it still holds up and is pretty deep, especially the first game. And I'd agree with sidetracked and say Outer worlds is probably the best recent Sci FI rpg.

It's been awhile since I've had time for anything but casual games, anybody wanna suggest something I'm parti al to cool sci fi worlds.
Haven’t ever tried Outer worlds but seen a little YouTube video of it. Looks an awesome game. Fallout 4 is quite a good game to loose some hours to, though it isn’t quite sci fi it has element of it through out.
I'd recommend Prey if you haven't played this one already?
It's a super atmospheric, story rich, open world set aboard a space station. Some really cool stealth and crafting elements in there. Killer sound track to boot!

I really enjoyed Outer Worlds recently. It's a sci-fi action RPG with a really cool world to explore. It can get fairly challenging on the highest difficulty.
If you want a deeper story and plenty of hours play I would recommend Assassins Creed (I've just completed Origins which was good fun), and Red Dead 2 (No spoiler but there is a "Virus" story arc which kinda fits in with the times).

I'd recommend journey to the savage planet, its light and funny but also an rpg/explorer, with mysteries and strange creatures about the place. It reminds of portal alot even though its not very similar, think i get the same kind of enjoyment from it.
Call of Cthulhu is a fun, dark game. It’s linear so you won’t log a million hours into it. Just twisted goodness!
The Fallout franchise is hard to beat. Fallout 3, fallout New Vegas, fallout 4 , fallout 76. Bethesda creates the richest and most immersive worlds imo.
Currently playing new vegas at the moment played them for years only one I wasn't a fan off was 76 the story behind is really interesting
If you are into JRPGs, please give Xenosaga 1-3 a try. The Gameplay gets better over time , the music and story are really something else. Still one if my favourite PlayStation 2 Series. I had a crush on KOS-MOS fir the longest time. After i finished the series i was in bitter-sweet gaming heaven.

outer world was a let down it just did not grab me at all and i love games like that (am still playing skyrim and fallout 4 atm)
if it's a deep story you want I'd recommend Life is Strange 1 & 2. Some might say it's boring but it's great if you're stoned cause your brain can't process to much shit going on but u can control the outcomes by making decisions. Another one would be steins;gate with is time travel done right but this would come under visual novel category.
If you have want to make your own Story I can recommend Starsector or Rinworld. Both are really great „Sandbox“ Games.

If you're into sci-fi worlds I cannot recommend 'Outer Wilds' highly enough. One of the most creative, exciting and engaging games I've ever played. Just you, a space-ship and a mini universe to unravel.

Civ 6, its even on Switch. Apart from that, I second Outer World's, Fallout, Elder Scrolls etc. If your a fan of old skool jrpgs like early Final Fantasy then I highly recommend the latest Dragon Quest.
I'm currently with no pc... But can't wait to revive my ps1 and ps2 memories on the renovated Mafia.

I was just thinking I don't think I've bought a game on release since about Fifa 12 or something back when Tesco used to do deals on them lol... I've definitely never paid 60 odd quid like they cost today! BUT Final Fantasy 16 has me massively tempted and I don't know if I'm going to make it the weekend without buying it haha

Yep I'm literally the same mate hadn't brought a game since probably FIFA 14 but recently brought Hogwarts. Mainly brought it for the mrs but gta say I'm enjoying it more than she is!
Yeah that's even better when you really get into something you weren't expecting to :) I've got Hogwarts on my list for when there's a good offer on, the ones that hook you in really do work out great value compared to price of most things these days!

GTA 6 is apparently running on rockstars RAGE 9 Engine, which is said to be better than UNREAL Engine 5 so we should all be in for a treat, I just hope that after a year or 2 of playing it still remains fresh and exciting

Yeah they (critics/reviewers) are saying RAGE Engine 9 (Rockstars Advanced Game Engine) is the best by far, even better than UNREAL Engine 5 and thatโs borderline beautiful already. So this game might be the best thing for 5-10 years, but then again rockstar may just go crazy with the games after the release of gta 6 and accidentally make a rival to it
It's fascinating to me that they've made their own engine. I wonder what it can specifically do that Unreal can't, considering the development time of this. You usually want something very well tailored, or very high end, if you're prepared to sink the development time and cost into it. It would make sense to package that up as a saleable product afterwards to recoup costs. Not sure if you're into hi-fi at all, but Chord do that with their DACs where the circuitry is FPGA and all done in house. Like the way Analogue make their consoles so it's all hardware and not software, so hopefully higher quality.

Bought Forza Horizon 5 and GTA trilogy definitive edition around same time both on release. Usually get Fifa on release day but goy 23 on CD keys about a fortnight after release. Pre ordered the new Forza recently. It cost ยฃ90. Right now playing PES 17 which cost ยฃ2.50 on ebay and it probably the best football game I've ever played .Used to love PES when younger, so many memories playing my mates stoned on PES 6

I bought Street Fighter 6 on the day of release and Amazon delivered it next day. Something weird was happening that day as the price was in free fall, and it kept selling out, being back in, 10 left, more on the way, etc. It was under ยฃ45 when I ordered, which is ridiculous for a brand new release. Managed to nab a Victrix Pro FS at RRP too, but have to wait 4-6 weeks to get it.
The prices are definitely worth it. They charged ยฃ45 for a game in the early '90s, and you're getting significantly more for your money now. If you think of it as entertainment for a couple of weekends and you drink at home and have friends over instead of going out then it's a lot more cost effective than going out on the piss for those weekends, and the game will probably have a much longer lifespan than that anyway.

They do manage to obliterate most of the bugs with the 20Gb Day One Patch these days though, to be fair. If you think about it though that destroys these games for long term value, resale and playability as once the servers are switched off you just get the effectively unfinished game on the disc. Not like when there was no way to update so games had to ship completely optimised.

I have this awful sense of missing out that makes me buy things, whether it was the PS5 that a mate managed to get for me, or whatever on here. I was eyeing up the Steam Deck. Always loved handhelds and that's ideal as most of the target audience will have a library of games anyway. The PS Vita was a lovely, yet unloved, thing, and I saved a huge amount of monthly games for years into my PS Plus account before I bought one.
Iโve not bought a game on release for a while now. So many games go on sale within weeks of release that it just makes sense to wait. I will definitely get Diablo 4 at some point though.

I played the leak of Pokemon Scarlet, about a week before the release date. It stuttered like hell and and the animations didn't seem to load properly. I rememeber thinking: Well, that serves me for spoiling myself by emulating before the devs have a chance to patch issues.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingom and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are the two. Although ACNH was because this thing called the "global pandemic" was about to kick off, which made ยฃ60 for an "outside simulator" seem very reasonable.

Last game I bought on release was Ghost of Tsushima but that was a gift for my lil bro, amazing looking game. all new PlayStation releases these days go for eye-watering prices back in the ps2 days games were more affordable.
I'm pretty sure I've never bought anything on release. I'm a cheap fuck and wait a year or 2 and buy the CD key for a couple of quid online.

I've finally gotten around to playing High on Life. I'm enjoying having humanity in the palm of my hands a bit too much ๐
In 2013 Jagex who own Runescape found backups of the game before they screwed it up basically, and it was files from 2007.

I love Doom Eternal so much. Personally I find you have to stay calm and treat it like some weird racing game where you just rip and tear as you have to keep moving around the course like a race track.

I keep seeing this creep back up on Steam. I played this waaaaaaay back when it was an ARMA 2 mod and it still stands out as one of the most interesting online experiences. Like 99% of it was utter shit, running around an enormous map, janky as fuck zombies, not seeing a single person, randomly breaking your legs and then getting killed by someone you never even saw. But fuccck when it was that 1% it was something really special.
Wellโฆ..funny question. Its never been fully fixed it has constantly been getting fixed and updated and patched and what not. Its looking better than it ever has. If you havenโt played for years you would be shocked as to what its become now. I only play on console but I am moving to pc soon so I can get all the maps that the main streamers play on. On console dayz we only have chernarus and livonia to explore.
On pc you have like a near enough unlimited number of some amazing maps now.
For example, deer isle,
takistan, esseker. Theyre just to name a few. Its quit insane. Never known a game like it ๐คฃ

Ohhh man the map! I forgot about the map. I remember I was working at a place that had a huge printer capable of printing on canvas for construction signs etc.
I printed like a 6ft by 6ft (way bigger than I realised) copy of the map onto canvas. It was absolutely beautiful......and no real help whatsoever aha!
What route you going with on the PC front Finbar? Building or buying? Is the whole graphics card shortage over yet? I'd seriously recomend taking a look at the STALKER mod - Anomaly when you do get one. It feels like the single player ancestor to a lot of these style of games IMO.

Also, the last of us has an online called factions multiplayer. There is nothing like that either. Supply raid is basically a 4v4 each team starts on 20 then it goes down to sudden death potentially. All in all great games if you love the zombie apocalypse scenario. The last of us story mode is the best story I have ever watched. I was guttered when they deviated in some parts from the game compared to the series. It is what it is I suppose haha
If you want a good idea of how you play it so you learn quickly. Watch therunningmanz and fresh spawns. Trust me dude. This isnt just a game. Youll soon realise. Just remember to have fun along your painful journey! ๐คฃ

i cant resist gving some skins trivia lol, Did YoU KnOW..? RAW and elements and juicy jays are all the same guys company, theres a great video on the history of RAW papers by J the owner/founder, makes you appreciate a guy who has a total passion for the best rolling papers he could possibly make, using 70 yo artisans to do the watermark on RAW papers. getting them made at the oldest rolling paper factory in the world in alcoy i think.
Didn't know this but delighted because I started using Raw Connisseurs (I think thats how you spell it?) about 2 years ago and now I hate rolling with anything else.

I find the raw skins dont really roll to a cone, they kinda fold into a cone, end up with a strange 20 sided shape joint lol, but i like a loose pack and a fast burn! So probably not an ideal skin for my rolling style, Zig zag blues or OCB hemps all the way!

Running a moist tongue along the edge over from the gummy allows the gummy strip to be torn off. The ragged edge can be bonded to the rolled J and one may enjoy a gum free puff.

Charcoal actitube slim filters, so much lighter on lungs, much tastier and hits you the same as normal joint.
Iโve been using those and purize which are similar.
Even the slimmest are fairly thick but they do make the smoke cleaner and tastier and I donโt feel like my lungs are going to collapse the next day!

For me I suggest forget any joint everyone should have a roor bong it's the only way to smoke! and much better on your lungs ,I personally ain't smoked a j for years, I remember going in the ganja museum and had picture of the human body and it said most healthy way to smoke weed is in a water pipe i.e BONG! Plus a good cherp sorts out the men from the boys! If you wanna invest in a smoking equipment forget vapes spend 300 quid on a proper bong

not sure what people mean by filter (an actual filter on a joint? never heard of it)... what I got used to do and find it difficult to do NOT do now is to use the tip of the cigarette (1cm max) as filter itself. He smokes lighter than a roach (smoother on your throat), but it taste better (get oily and if you the last puff is as good as the first)...

I prefer the raw extra wide tips. I see you gave up tobacco. I was never a cigarette smoker and don't particularly like tobacco. I use a Real leaf herbal mix. Some of my friends can't stand it but I find it's not harsh on the throat like tobacco if you're a non-smoker. Each to their own I guess. Vaporise as well but it's hard to beat tight joint and I enjoy the process of skinning one up

No mate, only banning flavoured tobacco. Papers and filters are ok but can't be sold with tobacco included. A bit strange mind using them in spliffs haha but each to their own :).

Using a pixel 3xl with chrome browser and everything seems fine to me. Although it can take a while to load pages at certain times.
I agree with the incredibly slow loading times. I've noticed it's typically on vendors pages who have alot of threads / topics to load. If you go to a newer vendor, or someone with not many threads / comments, it seems to load fine ( in my experience ).
I wonder if there's a way LB can limit the amount of threads that have to load when you first view a vendors page? And maybe add a "see more" option at the bottom to look further if you wish. But loading EVERYTHING they have ever posted seems to be the main cause of the slow loading times for me (I'm using a new android device so it's unlikely a hardware issue)

i have a problem on text input for example this post, when the text box opens the way the page then zooms is a freak show, and the auto correction does not work maybe its the way its defined in the code. i'd be happy to contribute to the bounty if anyone fixes this.
This happens to me with text input but only when leaving reviews. I'm able to write this post just fine on chrome for android but I have to write reviews in my notes app and copy paste them.

Hello all. I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago after trying to find a way to get hold of some quality flower.
I moved away from my hometown years ago and haven't been able to find a link where I live which leaves me having to rely on friends in other parts of the country (UK) to sort me out who have connects. It seems to good to be true that this exists and in my experience that often turns out to be the case. I have zero experience with crypto currencies and really don't know where to start. I'm also worried about giving my name and address over but the thought that I could get product through my letterbox whenever I'm running low is just to much of an opportunity to pass up.

I've looked into Bittylicious and apparently there is no wallet function? Is that why you recommend to initiate an order first then copy the provided address to bittylicious to buy btc into that address directly? It’s quite clearly the same vendor everyone is waiting days and days and days for... apparently it’s RM’s fault, not theirs... Very odd as everything else I’ve ordered has come within 2 days via RM... who’s the vendor cnrb?!
I wouldn't be happy with calling the vendor out on here publicly, However I'm so fucking annoyed as there has been zero communication from their part plus iv had 2 more deliveries arrive today that were ordered on Monday.

I spend the entire week trying to set up exchanges and wallets. I initially registered with coinbase because most say they are reliable and easy to use. Coinbase somehow did not work for me. Coinmama refused my verification (no idea why). After several attempts with others I finally managed to get it all to work with Binance to buy the BTC and an Exodus wallet. I just placed my first order here so I assume that combination works ok. Phew

I am a bit hassled by Coinbase, although purchasing is easy. I use a separate wallet for my LB purchases... Never can be too careful ;)
Download the etoro app you need photo id then just buy bitcoin as a trading stock with the amount you have put on there with your debit card or linked to your paypal then it allows you to move the bitcoin to a etoro wallet and from the wallet you can send it where you want, simple as that.

This isn't intended as a complaint aimed at MJ at all, I've not had issues before but my current cart of ice cream cake isn't working properly. It started off okay but half way in I can't get a hit off it at all. I've tried twisting the air vent bit near the top to different positions, preheating the oil etc. but nothing's working.
Anyone got any ideas what I could do to fix it or to make use of the distillate inside in another way?

Ohh smokey, diamonds in sauce is naughty! It’s thca crystals (which have no flavour) in a terpene sauce (with has flavour)! Thca isn’t psychoactive but converts to thc when heated so this is a concentrate which can have like 90% thc and is super tasty because of the terpenes. As I said. Naughty... :P

They can be in the high 90s sometimes mate. My fucking favourite concentrates in the planet. The diamonds give you the high, the sauce gives you the flavours
Diamonds and sauce is more artificial than the wax. I just googled to get the specifics. THCA crystals are made by getting a really pure concentrate like distillate, mixing it with a solvent and then slowly evaporating it until crystals form. Because it’s so pure you have to then mix in terpenes to give it flavour. You can buy terpenes online but i’m trying to figure out if they’re artificially synthesised or extracted from the plant. Anyway I don’t know how it would vape but when I dabbed it I would say I was about 1.5-2x as stoned as I would normally be of an equivalent sized amount of normal concentrate.
this is semi correct, semi not. the whole extraction process for any type of concentrate uses solvents whether its alcohol, or butane (other than rosin) thc is soluble to solvents and fats so they use the solvents so the thc has something to attach to when extracting. its then after purged for several days until 99.9% of the solvent has evaporated.

Can't beat a good game and a fat spliff. I'm on PC only atm, playing a lot of BFV, CSGO, Sea of Thieves, Fallen Order (stopped playing this half way though, kinda repetitive game play), the odd game of Apex Legends. Mostly online stuff. Gonna try start a new Witcher 3 save soon.

yeah, I didn't make it through the whole game =/ I'll probably pick it up at some point, i just didn't feel the combat to be very enjoyable at all... it was a chore to me. I did enjoy the story though.

Xbox one player here too man. Very recently I just finished the gta 5 campaign, I never really bothered to play it when it first came out as I always played online. However, I noticed how much I've missed out by not playing it as it's really good. Also playing borderlands 3 atm and other games I currently play are games from the resident evil series, New cod and some old 360 games via backwards compatibility!

Yeah, i'm quite far in tbh, as far as i'm aware, but haven't been able to play my Xbox for a week or so due to my controller just not working. So atm, i'm just playing whatever games my laptop can run. But soon i'll get back to BL3.
Ah that's brutal, they're not exactly cheap either :/ I used to have a really old laptop and managed to get so much use out of it with games like HL1, Star Wars: KotOR - amazing games. I'll need to find HD space and get back to BL man, I was hooked on 2 for months.

True, I only bought a PC cause I had the cash at the time, was about £900 all in just for the rig, just stupid prices man. And that isn't even high end, like high-mid tops. The gfx card will probably need a upgrade in 4-5 years too along with everything else. Crazy.

Xbox one X gamer here. Loving Jedi: Fallen Order at the moment. Probably the best, recent Star Wars thing to come out since Rogue One. I'm mostly rotating between Bfv, Cod MW, wreckfest, BL3 and Jedi FO currently.
The Game Pass is great, even better if you gameshare and go halves with someone you trust. Purchased downloaded games also share so if either one of us decides to buy a new game the other one can play it for free which is pretty sweet.

If you don't already, try smoking pure without tobacco. I started to get anxious, paranoid and felt like my heart was about to burst out of my chest when I was high from spliffs but that all went when I cut tobacco out completely. If you already do smoke pure, lay off the sativas and go for something more balanced or indicia dominant or something with less thc %.
Exercise helps scrub out residual THC from your body so is a great idea as you're already abstaining at the moment. If you want to smoke up again in the future, take the equivalent of 1 hit of whatever your blazing and wait for the effects to come, if they don't take another hit and wait again. Repeat if necessary, you'll be surprised at how little you'll need to smoke to feel nice and high. Using this method after 2/3 days of not smoking anything is a great way of lowering your tolerance.

Hey abbz, When you smoke enough you may often experience some unfavourable effects too like dry mouth, anxiety, heart palpitations, and heart palpitations can be made worse by anxiety.. what have you been smoking? My partner sometimes finds sativa a bit too much.

Using a vape ( I use the pax2) on a low temp will give you a nice chill without such pronounced psycological stuff. Ive had days where ive had the pax on low /med and not reallyfelt like i got high then when out doing my business i notice how im lifted, happy, positive. Its subtle but its really nice, and the weed lasts way longer as opposed to just blazing the same amount in a bowl.
You can manage your high by starting low and building on that as much as is required in any given moment. It doesnt matter what thc content it is as you can keep it low and only take a few hits without wasting a whole bowl if its really strong.
I use the vape on low as a kinda alternative to a break - I prefer that to a total break, 420 till i die hah! After vaping on low when you a have pipe or bong etc youll have a nice hard hit. Manage it all from there and interchange.
Also, check out some books on the mind and the ego if you havent already. Jiddu Krishnamurti, Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass, Bruce Lee. That helps put what is happening when you get paranoid into perspective.But be carefull, they will also tell you that you dont need drugs... haha

I would like to add though, that if pronounced a full break is still a good idea! Nothing worse than paranoia, depression etc. The point on exercise is true too. dabbing sucks IMHO, the high is ephemeral and that makes it addictive. throw in the impurities from production and you and you turn weed into something more toxic on every level.

I find sativa can make me very paranoid, a nice hybrid seems not to have the same effect, but still gives me the sativa high that I enjoy.
I stick to indica now never had the heart palpitations but got them all the time with sativas

There's a Hydra site on daknet which is testing all products before they sell it. So why bigger little can't make sure all stuff that sold here is safe for sale and checked?

The point i was making is that cannabis in a legal state is going to be a lot cleaner than somewhere its illegal but there will always be dodgy stuff in legal states just not as much as the uk where there is no quality control

Yes, It would be very useful if vendors could proof that their products are genuinely what you order and clean. I must admit that I feel uncomfortable about placing orders without such assurance. I am already ill and I do not want to make myself worse by ingesting something bad or tampered with. However, I have placed a few orders and wait for the arrival. We shall see what happens :-)

Looks pretty slick. Seems to me that it only lets you vape at 3.7v, which would be a big drawback for me. I like to vape around 2.7 - 3.0v. Its nice to be variable, turn down for a daytime hit and crank it up at night.

Low Volts for decent THC carts man, I’m currently only at 2.85V but up to 5 max usually. I’ve got an Aspire and just got the Valiant Vault which is perfect for me.
I was surprised how hard it is to find batteries with low voltage. Looked in a headshop and in a vape shop here in town, but all of the Vape pens there are over 4 Volt.

Gonna have too take a bit of a break from ordering for a bit guys, ordered something from JJ on here, never turned up tracking said it was at depot, I go in and am pulled to one side, the parcel was seized by them as it stunk of cannabis and has been forwarded to the police, I am told they will be coming to see me, pretty gutted to be honest so won't be ordering for a bit now.

While what's happened has been fucking shit for me today I don't want this too turn into a witch hunt, JJ what's happened has happened we can't change that, you can only learn a lesson from it that every parcel needs to be the very best in stealth it can be with absolutely no faults, unfortunately for me I am the scapegoat for the rest of the community and I can no longer order on here for now. I accept the risk I took when buying on here, after all, we are dealing in an illegal substance albeit sometimes we forget that.

The 2 officers were very good with me, they said forefront that on this occasion I will not be in trouble. They showed me the parcel and it was absolutely stinking, they said they haven't even opened the tin and it's stunk out the station, stealth was next to non existent.
They have taken my information and left me with a verbal caution.
They asked where I had ordered from and I have said that I could not tell them.

The perceived risk of LB, of losing the money to a scammer, or the weekend smoke not arriving on time is paled by the situation that has presented itself. I sincerely hope this comes to nothing. JJ appears to have been very forthcoming with explanations which in itself, while commendable does not change the reality of it all. I never thought of it as putting my liberty in the vendors hands. From what I am aware, you can request specifics with some vendors, speak to DrugsInc or RadarBreeder. TGT are also exceptional vendors, i'm sure they would be as accommodating as possible. You certain on the RM blacklisting, or just a base case scenario?

You are not being dramatic in the slightest. This happens sure but it is rare and in this case is should not have happened to you. It could have been avoided. Your real life has now been impacted negatively thanks to this event. Unacceptable at every level. I understand it's a honest mistake on JJ's part but honestly I don't know that that makes it acceptable.

I'm not sure you will be able to order packs to that address again though man, you will likely be on a suspicion list and your addy will be flagged for manual inspection when a pack gets scanned through the RM depot. Thanks for the info sidetracked that's helpful to know mate thankyou, the police were actually really cool with me mate, they more or less said, look everyone's doing it at the moment and it's just the unlucky ones that get caught out , they said that they had to come out just based on the strength of the bud as around here our street weed is not very good. She showed me how it was packaged and said there was no chance it would have got to me how it was and was one of the strongest smelling strains they've come across. They wanted to know where I purchased from but I said I really couldn't disclose that and they just said fine and left it at that, they said this time because I haven't been done before and it wasn't actually in my possession they will let me off but obviously if they have to come again I'm gonna be in bother.

I know this is going to look like a really stupid question, but what exactly is 420 and where does it come from. (Ive been in the wilderness for may years). I've only just started to partake again. I have done, and it's really nice. I use a Yocan Plus XL, about the same size as a large vape pen.
There are plenty of mainstream sites that sell such things though. Why not go there? I don't imagine many vendors here get wholesale prices on vaporizers, so you'd only end up paying more.

i use a flytlab concentrates vape and also a tesla which is very small and fits in your palm.
Daily electro-dabber here. The Puffco Peak even retired my proper torch/nail rig. It's over-priced for what it is, but I've not found anything that works better whilst being relatively faff-free, easy to clean etc. For portability, I found the Puffco pro/plus OK, but not quite powerful enough. I really like the Saionara vaporizers for on-the-move wax vaping... does require a separate ecig/battery (but still works out cheap in total).

Seller says sent first class 5 working days ago...loads of reviews from other users on the same bud so they have all had theirs several days ago now.
I have also had orders arrive before and since this order from other vendors but now reviews are popping up to say packages from my overdue vendor have been turning up opened and have poor stealth...
So - obviously first class post doesn't take 5 days ever in my experience. I have also never in 15 years at my address had a parcel go missing....which means I am 99.9% that the package is now either stolen or been passed to the feds...
At what point do I now clean house and wait for them to turn up?

If you ever do get a visit about it deny any knowledge or involvement. Like others have said, anyone can send you anything without your knowledge so without clear evidence they can never pin it in you unless you confess.

Hey man, I think it will mainly depend on where you live, if you're in a busy city I would certainly say resources are a bit thin and wouldn't expect a visit. If you're in a smaller town/ village I would say the probability is a little higher for a visit.

If you get a visit say I didn’t order fuck all, anyone can send anyone anything, If I know someone’s address I can send a kilo of weed to them... it’s kind of a grey area in our favour, we can’t control what gets post to us only what we post so just chill imo, in Covent till PROVEN guilty and I don’t know how they’d ever prove you ordered anything and they’re not going all CSI over a Henry of bud man, but this only works if you’re living clean and there are no suprises for them if they do turn up, meaning no stolen cars in the driveway, knocking shop in the back room etc lol.

I'm 100% sure the issue isn't with the vendor as I've bought from them several times, they're 1 of the big sellers on here and always been totally reliable. I'm pretty sure the Feds couldn't give a monkeys with the small amount I ordered. My only hope is Royal Mail's rank incompetence... but my money is on some lucky sorting office temp worker tucking in and enjoying a nice toke at my expense! Recommendations for nice functional sativa?
Looking for some recommendations - I find sativas can be perfect for day time work, they can help me keep motivated and focused and give creative thoughts, and not mong me out at all... But its hard to tell what will give this desired effect - I'm not looking for something that will knock my socks off, make me rush too much or give paranoia - rather something mellow, mid range and upbeat that is nice but still functional.. any thoughts? I had some Jack Herer from pablo which was PERFECT for this, seems like he's gone now though... looking at the Sherbet Cookies from Drugs Inc or maybe Gods Connect upcoming Grapefruit would be a good shout?

You tried TGT's Arjan's Strawberry Haze? It's pretty strong, but I can imagine smoking it in small batches would work super well. Seems ASH has high CBD content so it keeps you nice and mellow effect from it. Makes it easy to be in public on it with some eyedrops etc.
Maybe I should try the Strawberry Haze next then... Picked up some of Radars SSH and while its a decent smoke I dont love it, found it quite chilled out for a sativa and didnt really give the energizing buzz I was looking for unfortunately. Pablos Jack Herer still the one to beat!
I'll just add, I think my tolerance might be on the higher end, but even my wife who does not have much of a tolerance really loved it. she hates going outside stoned, but it had her going out to the store and loving every moment.
Definitely agree super silver haze is just right for that type of high. This stuff from RB is consistent and will always get you moving!
The Jack Herer from Pablo was a great daytimer right!? I enjoyed that too. I agree with Nova, RB's Super Silver Haze is a quality Sativa which keeps you top side of wanting to end your working day and lie on the couch! :)
Hi dazombee. I've had the super silver haze offered by RB and it's a lovely little sativa that got me motivated during the day. Didn't find it too rushy,got some of the sherbet on the way hopefully soon, if it comes I will add comment on what I think.

I’ll second that, very disappointed with the sherbert cookies, gonna have to try make some canna butter out of it to try and salvage something out of it. Very dry and very little effect.
The double tangie banana from NDWUK gives a lovely clear headed high. Tastes amazing too. It ticks all the boxes for you.

I’ll have to get myself over the water soon to see our enlightened Dutch brothers at Boerejongens, they sell block that is out of this world. Yeah I’d have to agree Nova, I thought RB’s SSH was decent. It vaporises nice. He seems to be a very good vendor as well, I’ve had zero issues. I’m currently waiting on some Amnesia haze dry sift hashish from a different vendor, which is the first strain specific hash I’ve bought on here. To be fair I can’t fault the budget stuff I’ve bought off various vendors so far either, it does what it says on the tin. I just find the strain specific hash is easier to tailor to my needs... If I could get a nice quality haze hash as well as an indica dominant cbd rich hash on the regular from the same vendor, I’d be a very happy and loyal customer with that repeat prescription! :)

So... new to this site and have not been involved in a community like this for 30 years (back when I was a student.) I switched to a DHV a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. Health concerns aside I find it to be better in every way.

Ah! Another Dynavap fan. I can’t say enough good things about it. Makes vaping almost as powerful as a joint. Never thought i would be able to get big vape hits like that.
It's now the only way me and the Mrs like it now really, you don't have to use much at all to get a decent high from it! First time we got it was funny, both wondering how the hell we were so battered off 0.1g bowl lol
You know, I was put off the idea of getting a dynavap because of the need for using a torch. But I've heard so many good things about them I reckon I may just try one. In fact the simplicity is now starting to appeal to me.
It was actually the reason I got one I liked the fact I didn't have to charge anything up and depend on a battery, I just got a cheap torch lighter and it works great, I'd highly recommend the dynavap both for saving flower and how hard it hits ! My old vape is in the bin now haha

A few months later I used a friends Flowerpot and the thing blew me away, it’s no doubt still a different stone to smoking a spliff or bing but it’s a totally different league to the Dynavap or the Pax, I can clear a 0.6 bowl in 2 clean hits, maybe a small 3rd hit. Long story short I now own a Flowerpot Weedeater and I’m consuming maybe .2 an evening and I’m nicely stoned from 7-11 on .2 of a gram. I am concerned about tolerance rising as many have described but atm I’m finding I’m saving a lot of herb as opposed to using more.

You’re more than welcome, I wrote about this elsewhere but you really need to think where and when you vape, how you vape and go on from there, different strokes for different folks, my friend adores his Pax 3 cos it fits his uses, just not mine I guess. For me there’s very few great capes around and many alright vapes, I guess it’s only once you try the best you realise the difference, certainly happened to me. This is where my money would be going if I were you, and if a possibility I’d always go desktop if funds, space and how you use fits as they’re just leagues ahead imo.

So many new toy options i've never even heard of, (other than the mighty.) Cheers. I shall spend some time when I get chance putting my obsessive nature to good use and learn everything there is to know about them. I liked the Pax as it was tiny, didn't require any paraphernalia and if left out on the coffee table didn't get noticed by visitors. The only other one on my shortlist when I was last looking was the DaVinci IQ and curiously nobody has mentioned them. (Im a sucker for a sexy design see.) The Ghost on your list has intrigued me though and as I have mentioned elsewhere its difficult to ignore the rave reviews on the Dynavap, though as you say, horses for courses...
Like me then it seems, obsessive nature at its finest over here, find a topic of interest and spend the next month constantly digging into it, certainly passes the time. The DaVinci IQ from what I know is very similar to the Pax, surely not a bad thing if you enjoyed the Pax originally and everyone likes a new toy! The Ghost imo is a fantastic choice, only used it a few times and really enjoyed it, for portable mostly solo use that would be my pick, will very likely pick one up in a couple of months, if you like a session vape then imo the mighty is top of the tree.

I can’t seem to get along with vaping, I know it’s healthier and all that but for me it seems to make getting high a long drawn out process.

I used to dhv but I found it made my tolerance skyrocket in a silly short amount of time. I'd vape entire ovens and come away feeling nothing so I went back to joints until I bought a bong which I use for flower now.

Curious, I reckon my consumption may have actually gone down a little bit. I use my pax and then I just 'forget' to use it again for a couple of hours as I don't feel the need. I found so long as its packed tight and full its spot on. I once read somewhere that DHV releases different chemicals in the herb as you are just warming it up and not burning it. So you get far more of some chemicals but less of others. Perhaps that's how it can affect tolerances?

How are you finding the Solo2? It looks like a nice device. My concern on some of these gadgets was the size of the chamber. I bake alone most of the time so didn't want anything that has to be stacked too much.

I also mostly vape solo sessions - solo 2 bowl is a great size for personal use in my opinion. You can always pull the stem out of the device mid session and save it for later.

If you use a dynavap properly it’s incredibly efficient, just check out the colour of the abv. Thanks for the info. I am quite taken with the solo 2. It looks like a quality bit of kit and gets good reviews, so I may well start looking out for a deal on them. I have looked at the Dynavap website as so many people on here rate them but I cant quite get my head around it. I shall resort to you tube later. Thanks.
My only negative for the solo (and the Mighty..) is that there isn’t a user replaceable battery. Both devices comes with warranty on the battery for a year I think but Sod’s law it will die just after it runs out!
i am a dry herb vaper, have to be discreet with smell and have quit smoking so its ideal, what you using?
I have a PAX3. I used rizzlas and tobacco for over thirty years but as I have gotten older my lungs started rebelling. So a couple of years ago in desperation I bought a DHV. I was amazed! The high is better, my lungs don't moan, my house doesn't smell (as much) and im not addicted to nicotine. I firmly believe its the future so was just wondering how many people use them and if they are rated.

I prefer bud mate. Carts are strong but just for when stealth is required. You can’t beat the entourage effect from flower in my opinion! If you’re after carts check out say no 2 drugs(top vendor)!
What pen and cartridge would people recommended for a beginner with a pretty low tolerance. I normally smoke flower with tobacco, usually packed lightly. I wanna try and get off the tobacco though.

You ideally want a vape battery with variable voltage. There are many cheap batteries that have a bit on the bottom you twist to the desired voltage. I've bought a 'honeystick 510 twist 2-4 volt' off amazon for about £10. You don't want to go over 4volts with thc carts and it needs to have a '510' thread for the cart to fit.
For the cart, if you're a UK bigga, I always recommend MJconcentrates own brand carts. 0.5g cart will set you back around £45 give or take your btc exchange fees. I consider myself to have a medium/medium high tolerance but from. Sober, 2 pulls gives me a good effect after a few minutes so for you it would probably give you an amazing effect. I find I can make a .5g cart last for almost a week with light/medium usage. Your milage may very well vary.

Check out SN2D mate. The select cartridges say that they’ll last for 200 hits (if I remember correctly). They are all 85%+ THC content so you’ll only need a hit or two to get you to where you need to be.
I agree with epix. Vaping buds is much nicer but if you want to get reeaally high go for the concentrates. I use a pax 3 which has the concentrates insert and am currently waiting for my third order of wax from drugs inc uk - highly recommended (no pun intended).
I personally really like the carts MJconcentrates offers. I've never tried carts before I found LB so I'm kinda new to them myself but as I've said before I honestly think they're my favourite way to consume cannabis at the moment. The high I get is a bit of a creeper, it takes a few minutes to really kick in and isn't instant like a bowl or spliff but isn't an hour + like edibles. If I'm completely sober, it only takes a couple of puffs and a few minutes to start feeling nice and chill, obviously the more puffs equal to even higher states of happiness but your mileage may vary.
As some others have said concentrates are another good way to go if you want to try something a bit different and a lot stronger than flower.

phew, goodies arrived this morning, along with most of last weeks post... chatting with my postie turns out that union staff in hub sorting offices are doing wildcat work to rules, creating major backlog:(

Yeah I am kinda new to here so have only made 4 or 5 orders but the first 3 came thru no prob's. I contacted the seller and they checked with the shippers to see if there was a delay and said it seems to have been sent so I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. I had some great advise about using a site called bittylicious, no need for a wallet as you just copy the address you are provided when you initiate an order onto the site and buy the exact amount of btc needed that the broker just sends to the vendors wallet. It's super easy and minimises the amount of fees you need to pay. If you want to stay using your current set up then you will need to make sure you buy more btc to cover the fees. Hope this helps.

I normally buy direct from Kraken and add the bitcoin address I receive to send to as a new BTC walllet, there are fees involved to that are a couple of $ but not that high, It took me a while to figure out and add the fees involved but have had no other issues like lost BTC or the the transaction being flagged....Ive never set up a personal wallet to use for this site but assume there is a lesser fee when sending from your personal wallet, From previous experiences I always err on the side of caution to buy a little more than I need....
Switchere and exodus would have taken commissions for processing the transaction. One of them may have really done you over in it's commission rate.

Once you put heat through the cart, its best to use it until empty.
I would say an unused cart, left in a dark, cool cupboard would keep for around two months before any separation/Discolouration would occur.
I would try to finish a used cart within two - four weeks of first use.

I’ve still got a bit left of one of yours I bought months ago MJ no discolouration, the flavour disappears and potency isn’t as good but still good!

Hi all, I just came across this site a few days ago and have a good feeling about it. I have never used the internet to buy weed before but now is a good time to start. I have set up a Coinbase account (still awaiting approval) and have set up a wallet (using Exodus). I have never used Bitcoin before or bought any but from what i have read i use Coinbase to buy the coin, then i transfer the coin to my wallet and from my wallet i transfer it to the seller. Am i missing something?
That's all there is to it mate. As soon as you're approved on coinbase, get some coin in your wallet and you're good to start ordering.

Hi all!
Like many, I stopped buying vape carts after the big vape death scare earlier this year. Now that doctors are saying it looks like it was mainly the vitamin E oil, I decided to try a legit Cali cart that I knew had been tested properly to give these things another go.
I've always found carts to not really give me a satisfactory high, there is always some depth that I feel is missing. I know not everyone feels this, however I have heard this before from others as well. I was hoping that a legit cali cart would give me a bit more kick.
In comes the Bullionaire cart made out of the popular Runtz strain. I was very excited to try this, bought it as a little Christmas present for myself. Once it arrived, I was impressed. The packaging is nice, and the oil in the cart itself is almost clear. You can tell this is a high end vape cart.
Smoking it, it hits super smooth, so far everything is as expected. The sad part comes when the high hits. First, it's the same type of high I've gotten off of all other vape carts. It just isn't giving me that good high that I get when vaping actual flower.
At least now I know... vape carts, no matter what the quality, just aren't for me =/

I'm so pleased you wrote this review. I've literally just done the same thing... testing out the Runtz bullionaire to challenge my expectations. I've been a daily dabber for years, and I'm an e-cig user as well, so carts really appeal to me as a concept. But I've tried many and various and none of them have been comparable to dabbing (our using my Puffco Peak), or just smoking/vaping some herb. Convenient yes, but lacking in effect; and the actual hardware involved, those carts, just don't taste great...
It's a real shame that there are these really interesting terpy sauce extracts, and then they get put into mass-manufactured super-cheap Chinese hardware. The carts just don't work properly, you either have to under-power the vape; with unsatisfying volumes of vapour... or you turn it up and risk a scorched taste.
I completely agree... if this is as good as carts get, and I can believe it is, then they're just not for me. And although it's a bit messier, I actually prefer the purer experience of putting MJConcentrates distillate into a Ccell cart. They still don't wick properly, but the %THC is probably a bit higher.
I considered emptying out the carts and using the liquid in a better quality rebuildable atomiser (for nic vaping). But I can't be arsed, I'll just go back to my dab rig in the meantime!

Thanks for the response... good to know I'm not alone. I agree, the stealth is unbeatable, so I guess i'll save it for those occasions.
P.S. I'll just add that the high off of this cart is definitely a bit stronger than other carts I've had. It is super relaxing, making me a bit sleepy. The high even managed to cut through a shatter high... so it is strong in its own way. However, it just doesn't have the same "depth" as shatter/flower high for me.
Yup. They're like a watered down apéritif, as opposed to a good stiff double shot of single malt whiskey.
Yeah that's a good comparison haha... actually, getting blasted and then using a vape as a topper is fairly nice actually. Just trying it out now, especially these buillonair ones, they are super relaxing, so getting that on top of a good shatter high is working for me.
A fair and honest review epix. Shame you don't get on well with carts. I've really enjoyed MJs ones, think their next level and personally one of my favourite ways to consume thc at the moment.

Yeah... I think I might have ruined myself with tolerance tbh. I think they would be great at a lower tolerance level. I'm actually doing a 1 month tolerance break in January... will try again after that.

Oh wow that's interesting... I think it depends on the cart. Some of them are using actual weed terps in them, others just put in some random flavor, so you can't tell the difference.
I think since MJ makes his with concentrates, they will smell like vaping concentrates... and I think that's why his are better than many.
Another cart that I actually did like a bit was a Mario Cart from the pope. Like any weed, I think a lot of it is completely personal bio chemistry

Hello everyone, looking to see if any of my fellow friends on LB have an Xbox One or another console, would be great to hear what types of games you lot are into. Personally I love me some. Resident Evil, Halo, Gears of War, Borderlands, Left 4 Dead and a lot more.

LOL this is great. Did you know Blizzard recently re-released classic WoW? I am tempted to begin playing again.
It's worth giving it WoW go again Morgan. There are a couple of things to bare in mind though. The patch that was released for classic WoW was a later one that carried a lot of nerfs to Pve elements of the game so it does feel a little easier as it was a point where TBC was close to release and they wanted to make sure as many of the newer players at the time got to see the content and that players new in TBC could level easier.
That said though, there is so much more room for character progression, development and variation in play style compared to later expansions that came with the pruning of classes, so it will keep you busy for quite a while anyway.
There is also a great argument for a return of improved social aspects of the game. There are no pre-formed group tools for dungeons and raids and there are no cross realm servers which for the moment at least, show a much friendlier and more active community compared to what retail is.
I feel rather positive towards it so far. Although i feel the formula used for game design and player mechanics has become a little stale and repetitive since WoD so im enjoying the change in game play. Playing gears 5 just now...What have they done to the lancer, it feels like a spud gun. I just play whatever looks good on game pass on xbox and the ps4 for exclusives like god of war. If youre after a chill game try the free fishing simulator on xbox its decent.
I feel like the lancer still a good gun. The only reason I like the PS4 or would even consider getting one is due to the exclusives and VR. I’ve tried fishing simulator before but just not my cuppa tea tbh, later on though I’ll be having a try at Blair witch because I’ve got the game pass too and there’s a lot of games I need to catch up on.
Aye, love a bit of a gaming session when i have the time. What time i have at the minute, im delving in to WoW classic or World of warships on the PC. When time is short i throw on the xbox for World of warships Legends or a bit of forza.

If you have a little interest in it, there are lots of streamers on twitch, drop on and have a good look. There's a big split in peoples preference at the moment with retail and the re-release of original WoW. you can also make a trial account to level 20 which will give you an idea as to whether you want to pay for it or not.

I’m on PS4. Gamer tag: SENOBYTE. Mostly play black ops 4, team death match. I’ve got an Xbox one as well but haven’t used for ages. Can renew my subscription and buy a game you guys are playing and hook up.
Play on pc myself! Enjoy a lot of horror games. Outlast, resident evil and such. Is the gears 5 campaign any good? Not a whole lotta split screen games on pc and I loved the first couple gears games.

I’d say Gears 5 is worth it yeah, it’s a pretty good campaign and the horde mode is good too. I do want to get Outer Worlds though it looks like a really good game, will be playing it on Xbox myself when it releases. Unfortunately haven’t played Fallout New Vegas, just Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout Shelter.
Recently finished resident evil vr on ps, was amazing then played god of war loved it, now not sure what to get, my kid has a switch and quite fancy the new link /zelda game
I do really wanna try RE VR, I fucking love the Resident Evil games, especially 4,5 and 2 remaster. God of war I’ve heard nothing but great things about it too and the switch is a cool console, always used to play Nintendo games in the past but don’t seem to get the time too now.

Evening Biggas, seems that there has been a wave of new members/vendors this month so far and its only the 8th at time of writing. Given that a certain new vendor was rightly ousted as soon as their bizarrely priced listing was uploaded (hats off community by the way) it makes me wonder, should we be wary of new vendors at this time of year? Are we being offered a festive treat or a Christmas nightmare?!
My preferred vendors are chosen not just by their products, but their service and their ability to stand by both.
If anyone takes the plunge with a new vendor this festive period, I hope it goes well, please post your reviews and in the meanwhile congratulations to all users who have assisted in the recent clear out of flies in our wonderful ointment!

I'm still relatively new around here but I think I've got the general feel of LB down to be honest, it's great that the community rallies together when potential scammers enter the mix, gives a newbie a good understanding of what to look out for and avoid like the plague.
I've never used darknet markets so I don't have much to compare it to but the vendors I've used here have all been great, even when things go wrong. Hopefully LB is sticking around for as long, if not longer, than it has already been around for because honestly this place is amazing, no more dealing with spotty roadmen half my age on corners.

Whenever the darknet is in turmoil there's a new influx and it has the same ratio of shit in the water. Which is mostly shit. Most of them go away fast when they see their game doesn't work here.
I have noticed an influx of new vendors popping up aswell. I would be wary and vet them yourself before making any decisions, if you do decide to make a purchase only spend what you can afford to lose :) There is one that popped up yesterday aswell i started a topic on, dan123 they are called. Be careful, and i appreciate posts like this, good on you for looking out for the community :)

The 818 Headband from Bulkstop on paper sounds a little too good to be true, and looks pretty decent for the price. However the way the vendor communicates and provides evidence has made me take the plunge and order a 1/8th to test. So I think it all just depends on who you're dealing with.

He might be adjusting prices or something, but still seems to be in communication so all good so far. I agree it does get you worried to see that though.

Exactly mate, i kept wondering why we were having so many vendors without realising it was almost Christmas haha! Most of the heavier scams take place around the festive season and with the current state of the dark net markets it will attract even more to little biggy than usual. If something feels off, it usually always is, wish i had listened to my gut so many occasions :p I may also take a chance if 1 or 2 happen to seem legit aha ;)

I can see lots of positive comments for Pope but I can only go by my own experience. My 7g Of dolato didn’t arrive, his page was set to restricted and no comm’s received. I’ve ordered from NDWUK (on his site) multiple times, I’ve ordered from Radar Breeder and it’s been a great experience.
I can’t help feeling like I’ve been ripped off. I hope it comes good in the end and I really don’t want to go through escrow in a couple of weeks time

Yeah, seems like there has been some weirdness going on. I do think that a lot of it has to do with Royal Mail in December as well. Seems like everyone is getting delays right now.

I believe that the tracked packages get better treatment with the royal mail... it just took a week to get my standard 1st class order delivered.

I just had a delivery today which is a full week late. They didn't frank the stamp so maybe the sorting machines have gone down causing delays. Radar breeder is a good seller.

Hey lil biggies.
Just wanted to do a quick recommendation for you concentrate guys out there. I've mainly picked up wax and crumble, so I hadn't run into the super sticky shatter yet, but I did and ended up going to friendly amazon and finding a solution. Got this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07HBV137X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not recommending the kit as a whole necessarily, but that mat is exceptional. You can lay the shatter on there and pick it up with no stick. You can roll it into a ball, flatten it out... it's pretty impressive.
I've been able to deal with the wax and crumble with just a toothpick and one of those cali shatter valley silicone tubs... but shatter is a tricky one, and this mat helps a hell of a lot.
The kit there isn't bad as a whole either. You have a nice tin to keep all your concentrate/accessories in one place.

Both are the space monkey meds from RB. Left is animal cookies and right is birthday cake. The AC arrived like glass and was over weight by .3 which was a nice bonus. The BC came more as sticky wax/crumble though but it smells incredible.
I just grabbed a Pilot Diary dab straw yesterday. Never tried concentrates so I had no idea what to get and didn't want to spend too much. This kit looks like it would go perfect with the straw I got cause it doesn't come with a mat or nail. Now I think about it I have no idea how I was planning on handling the wax haha. Any suggestions if I can't get a dab nail here before the wax gets here?

I actually have the same dab straw. All you need for this is a torch lighter to heat the tip until it's red hot. Then you wait until the red goes away, and place it on the concentrate you want to vape and inhale.
Not any more complicated than that... and with the Cindy 99 (you'll probably get a different flavor), what I've been doing is just putting the straw right into the concentrate container, and vaping it directly from there... so no need to even having to try and deal with it.

I like to mix my own vape carts sometimes with decent success to be fair and would like some presonal recommendations for where to get some from! (I dab it a bit too)
I'm yet to make a cart as good as the ones I've bought from MJ Concentrates the Strawberry Cough & Tangerine Dream were just superb (cap dothed) Also the shatter I got from MJ was top draw too. Dabbing the Ghost Train Haze shatter was of the chart!

Curious to how everyone tackles keeping a ready rolled fresh and discreet. I keep all my stuff in glass jars (I’ve tried most options.) but I’ve never really found a great way to keep my spliffs fresh and tasty. I’m not worried about it being squashed etc, more keeping the flavour and goodness. I’m talking about weekends away with non smokers, when you make a couple for when you go for a walk or a mosey on the beach. Or nights where you start of respectable in the pub but end up in a field getting smashed with the cool gang. So I ideally don’t want it stinking out my pocket or bag either, a small plastic clip lock tub is my usual solution.

I'm new to concentrates, how would you normally put this in a joint? I plan on rolling with weed, hash and shatter. Just not sure how best to tackle it
Depends on the concentrate. If it's really gooey, unstable shatter than get a pin or dab tool and smear it on your rolling papers. If it's stable and easy to work with snap it up into small pieces and just roll it in with the rest like you would a normal joint. Putting it in the fridge/freezer beforehand will help with handling it.
And just to add, if you're new to concentrates a little will go a really long way. Most of the cali import prerolls contain only 0.2g of shatter as an example. Not that I'm telling you what you should do, just some additional advice.
When I had the zombie stick it had 0.2 in it, and it had a really piney, almost woody taste to the joint. That makes it sound bad, I think, but it was a beautiful taste. I'm hoping it was the concentrate.

To be honest, if your native language is English- you don't need to learn any other language. Us, 2 strangers in different parts of the world, communicating in English right now proves that.
I hear what your saying, and I kinda agree in a sense. Many industries for example pilots, English is the set language. But then why the need to know more than two languages for example french and English or German and English? Why the majority of Europeans speak so many. I didn’t Evan try to speak German or Dutch I just assumed they spoke English and they did lol I just felt ignorant to be honest I didn’t feel proud of myself was like the British empire conquering a country and telling them you speak our language now.
A lot of European languages are similar because there are only 2 main branches of European languages, Romance and Germanic. It's relatively easier to learn other languages in the same branch, i. e. Spanish speakers will learn Italian faster than English speakers, since Spanish and Italian are Romance and English is Germanic. That's why a lot of continental Europeans effortlessly pick up other languages, methinks.
I did know an Icelandic girl who spoke 8 languages(Icelandic, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Spanish, German, French, English) though. And when I asked how she learned so many languages her answer was "I learned them at school". :P
