Was hoping someone from the Uk whom already knows python or is learning it could advise on the best place or books to learn python, im using codeacademy just now and don't know if i should pay the 20 a month or is it possible to learn it for free or is it worth paying to learn?

The first month is free so it’ll give you time to decide if it’s for you.
As well as thousands of really well put together courses in various programming languages there’s also a load of other courses on things like photoshop, iOS photography, wordpress... it’s great place for getting to grips with some new skills.

Just wondering what your using for Roach?
Love the adaptability of Roach to fit a cone etc. But, my lungs cant take the punishment so work with Rolls69 filters now. Also adaptable air flow by advancement and retraction to cool things.
What you fellow enthusiasts using?? Just a general community question....

Didn't know this but delighted because I started using Raw Connisseurs (I think thats how you spell it?) about 2 years ago and now I hate rolling with anything else.

The 32 leaf pack comes with 32 perfect sized roaches and they just so the job perfectly in my opinion. Thanks for the trivia mate!

I find the raw skins dont really roll to a cone, they kinda fold into a cone, end up with a strange 20 sided shape joint lol, but i like a loose pack and a fast burn! So probably not an ideal skin for my rolling style, Zig zag blues or OCB hemps all the way!

FYI when i smoke blues, i fold, lick and tear about 6mm strip off the bottom of the skin, then roll. Ends up basicaly 1 papers thick all around the cone but the roach end, a nicer, less paperier smoke!

Anyone ever find smoking silvers that the paper burns to fast for the cherry, and you end up sucking half air half smoke through the roach, feels like you loosing half your joint? Just me maybe lol

(I can roll joints honest! 20years experience lol, i just like em loosey goosey)

Running a moist tongue along the edge over from the gummy allows the gummy strip to be torn off. The ragged edge can be bonded to the rolled J and one may enjoy a gum free puff.

Roach and tightly pack the bottom which acts as a filter its self.

Cotton filters should be illegal as you are basically smoking cotton as the hot smoke oxidises it.

On a side not ive recently switched to a small glass water pipe and my lungs have never been better, fuck all this paper man.

I’ve been using those and purize which are similar.

Even the slimmest are fairly thick but they do make the smoke cleaner and tastier and I don’t feel like my lungs are going to collapse the next day!

Hi there, I’m currently using raw roach, someone was nice enough to buy me a shop box last Christmas and I’m still getting through them. I’m also a big fan of Quintessential hemp coated tips, I really like the booklets they make.
I have tried filterd joints out of curiosity but didn’t really enjoy it.
Raw are my go to paper, I like that it now that they so easily available in most UK news agents, definitely a step up from the blue rizla.

For me I suggest forget any joint everyone should have a roor bong it's the only way to smoke! and much better on your lungs ,I personally ain't smoked a j for years, I remember going in the ganja museum and had picture of the human body and it said most healthy way to smoke weed is in a water pipe i.e BONG! Plus a good cherp sorts out the men from the boys! If you wanna invest in a smoking equipment forget vapes spend 300 quid on a proper bong

not sure what people mean by filter (an actual filter on a joint? never heard of it)... what I got used to do and find it difficult to do NOT do now is to use the tip of the cigarette (1cm max) as filter itself. He smokes lighter than a roach (smoother on your throat), but it taste better (get oily and if you the last puff is as good as the first)...

I prefer the raw extra wide tips. I see you gave up tobacco. I was never a cigarette smoker and don't particularly like tobacco. I use a Real leaf herbal mix. Some of my friends can't stand it but I find it's not harsh on the throat like tobacco if you're a non-smoker. Each to their own I guess. Vaporise as well but it's hard to beat tight joint and I enjoy the process of skinning one up

I've used menthol filters when smoking for a long while. Back in the days I used a roach but that's too harsh for me as I'm getting on a bit. (Oh dear poor little me ha ha). I quite enjoy a J with menthol filters. BUT I hear menthol filters are being outlawed in England?? To stop younger people. Is that true or have I been told a fib?

No mate, only banning flavoured tobacco. Papers and filters are ok but can't be sold with tobacco included. A bit strange mind using them in spliffs haha but each to their own :).

Hi guys,

So I was previously a pretty heavy smoker to the point where I never really felt satisfied by a high. Nothing really gave me the same sense of zoned out bliss I used to get when lighting up. Now I haven't smoked in almost a month, but I've taken edibles a few times instead. On Friday and Saturday I took fairly large doses (200MG on Friday and 300MG in two sittings on Saturday).

Whilst I got a very pleasant high from both doses, I still felt more clear-headed than I wanted to. Like, 300MG is a lot for edibles right? Even for experienced smokers? I did take the two 150MG doses a few hours apart, which I'm sure had an impact. Would you have advised taking it all in one go to really land on another planet? Lots of people suggested being careful and upping my initial amount slowly, so I did. But I can't really afford any more for the time being, so will have to wait a while to up it further.

Anyone have any advice?

The advice is use a drug designed for the purpose, DMT is a wild ride man. Most edible dose I’ve had was 600mg and I was fucked but I was drinking as well, imo spirits plus high dose of weed does give a very trippy high, that was the closest I’ve got from weed to truly tripping out but it wasn’t very pleasant, more nauseous and dizzy so it can kind of be done but I’d rather use a drug made for your goals.

Hi biggas, as a man reduced to having to toke in the garage as his wife doesn’t want anything to do with my habit! But understands that due to my chronic pain I need to smoke weed to help deal with serious issues.
As this nice weather has hit, my wife has spent more time outside and says that she can smell it and smell it around the outside of the garage sand is concerned that the neighbours will notice it.
I say fuk’em but I have to live with her!!! So having had a think and recalling a YouTube video that showed a guys grow and smoke room. He used an air purifier to filter out the smell of both his plants and his smoking and says it’s great to eliminate the smell pretty well.
Does anyone else have this or a similar situation? Whereby they use an air purifier, any recommended air purifier units that are good for filtering out my smoking by product ?

ONA gel and ONA blocks are VERY strong for lingering smells and about 10 quid.

They work VERY well outside grow rooms and could mask any after smells of smoking bud

I think with me smoking a few gs a day the neighbours may get suspect an extraction system has the approval of the mrs so just gotta price one up now, Shed gave a good place to look and have been looking at various kits and units just hope they can deliver in these mad times!!!

I have a similar situation, toke for medical reasons and burn by my back door (open a little) to avoid upsetting the family. I do worry about aromas drifting around and getting to the wrong nostrils (uptight/nosey neighbours with closed minds), but have not yet figured out a solution.

Don't mean to be negative, but not sure how the carbon filter would prevent smells escaping round the sides and underneath your garage door?

I would appreciate hearing all suggestions of peoples' stealth toking methods, cos beyond going for a walk I've run out of ideas.

I wasn’t hot boxing my garage, most of the time it was just me smoking, occasionally with someone else at the same time. I also used to exhale towards the fan so i’d say 90+% of the smoke went through the filter.

Sure some will escape the room without having being filtered but the more it can be minimised the better and if it’s just a tiny amount it’s unlikely to be smelled outside or really linger

Was in a similar situation myself a few years ago.

Tried one of those smoke filters (smoke buddy I think it was?) where you exhale through it. It worked but it can be an expensive option as they don’t last very long and it didn’t stop the smell from the burning joint. Ended up buying a small carbon filter that you’d use in a grow and relatively quiet inline fan and just set it up right by where I was smoking. Blow the smoke in the direction of the intake fan and this pretty much eliminated all smell from the smoke. Might have been overkill but I needed to be comfortable that no one could smell it.. I tried to smoke vaguely in the middle of the room to avoid smoke going out a doors or something similar before being filtered.

I’m now in a different place and only vape so smell isn’t really a massive issue anymore.

Carbon filters are good and will work well, but you'd need a fan / filter / place to vent your filtered air.

What you could go for is a Ozone Generator, have it on a timer for 30 mins once you've had your smoke and left the area... it will neutralise any leftover smell. You cant be in the same room as them when running as they aren't good for your lungs... so switch on timer when you leave.

I use one to neutralise smell on clothes, rooms sometimes, work well.

Hey there, yeah having looked into this a bit now, I have decided that I will be utilising a carbon filter/ fan/ due to exhaust out of wall. Also going to use oscillating fan on floor alongside an air purifier with the ion / ozone function.
One other little thing that I am gonna use (as per a suggestion on here) is to get some ONA gel for areas around the doors where excess smells may escape, as the gel evaporates, it sticks to the odours.
I am interested to how it will all work when it all comes together and when I get all the kit I am going to add a review to share all the benefits :)

Yeah man, like mjr says - get a little extraction set up. Wouldn't have to be huge or anything. Hook up a little inline fan could just put it on a plug top, bit of ducting up to a carbon filter tube and then duct over to a vent out of the garage. Should suck up your smoke and blow out nice fresh air! Boom, happy mrs and stoned, pain free Snagg!!

Carbon filters you could get from any grow shop or online - I just did a quick ebay search and you can get complete kits for pretty cheap (example item # 261420111950) - you will easily be able to just put a plug on the fan and switch it on and off at the socket when you need to. Hardest bit will be hanging the ducting and getting a vent hole out (depending on what the garage is made out of). We did similar in a mates house years ago.

Ha...how did you know?? Yeah man, my weed lab is the shed...fortunately it's right at the bottom of a fair sized garden and my wife doesn't grief me about what the neighbours might think...she's actually very mellow about the weed (I'm very lucky with that I have been told!)

Since your on the site, Its likely that you have, plan to, are, or at least thought about growing your own juicy nugs! Why not, Its a beautiful plant well over 7000 years old, used in all sorts of ancient cultures the same way we use them today like Medical & Recreational use...

I don't believe in expensive weed, not unless its a trip to dam for 2 days. there is nothing I hate more then handing out 30 quid or more for some SHITE TWIGY DRAW from these road dealers (not all but most)

I want to ask some of you how many of you have done so? your brief experience on where you got your seeds, how much you paid, and success rates.

2018/2019 alone i spent well into $1700 on seeds on the big online bank.
Seeds are getting expensive, ESPECIALLY AUTOS & DESIRABLE FEMALES...

On top of all that, Many so called breeders offer total unstable hacks... Meaning your chance of getting whats described very low as there is no genetic stability or bx cross.

Just a one cross and done.

I also know many cheap seed banks / breeders who got DANK but it took me years to try out different brands....

...for years now urging and Thinking about taking the most expensive autos and females in the market, clone the strain by inbreeding it and drop a shit fuck load of Female seeds on the market at huge cut price (As long as they are all uniform after testing)

Hey, I’m not a fan of expensive weed either and have been dabbling on and off for many years. After a few disappointments I tend to stick with really stable, unglamorous (but still very nice) classics.
Things like Sensi seeds Super Skunk, THseeds Bubblegum and Dutch passions white widow. I’m really short on space so knowing exactly what I’m getting is perfect rather than taking the barneys farm lucky dip.
And yes, always interested in stable genetics!

On my first grow and just flipped to 12/12 light cycle. I bought 3 seeds from royal queen seeds and they throw in a freebie seed aswell. I had 3 medical mass which is a high CBD medicinal strain. 12%THC, 12%CBD so it a ratio of 1:1, highly desirable for medicinal users. My freebie was an OJ Kush, way higher THC indica strain which I also love and I've just started about 4 days ago, she's popped through the soil with her first 2 leaves already. My medical mass is in my wardrobe she's just about to flower and is smelling lovely! All in all going quite well. I have a 600w LED light with a built in fan which is doing the job brilliantly, have it on a timer at the socket and I just bout compost with 4 months of food already in there because I was a bit overwhelmed with the nutrients thing but this seems to be going really well :)

I Prefer paper tower germination method. Always works for me unless its very very old seeds. 2016 pack that aint been stored in a fridge will be very very weak and doubt that will germinate at all. Good luck on the RQS NL. Hope it turns out DANK
