Now then Biggers!
I've had a really strange and scary experience after smoking some weed from a very reputable Little Biggy seller...
I had my first Covid vaccine (Pfizer) on Wednesday around 4pm and had a few tokes of joint made up of multi-strain shake from an LB seller. I've had this shake for around a month and haven't had any issues with it...
15 minutes later, something strange started happening.There was an intense rush of pressure in my head, face, neck and ears. My heart started racing, I was shaky and I became dazed and confused. I then started to get vertigo symptoms and couldn't stand up and honestly thought something really bad was happening, so much so that I almost called an ambulance. After a few minutes of this, it completely passed. I was lucid and felt completely fine. I looked in the mirror and my pupils were massively dilated.
After a few minutes, the same thing happened, lots of pressure in my face, racing heart, muddled thoughts, tight chest and struggled to catch my breath. This cycle happened for the rest of the night, it kept coming in waves and then subsiding. My pupils were dilated all evening, which usually suggests the consumption of a chemical. I definitely felt like I was on some kind of drug, but it certainly wasn't an enjoyable one.
The next day I still didn't feel right and was getting mild rushes of the aforementioned symptoms. I convinced myself it can't have been the shake as I've had it for a while and all of the LB reviews were fantastic. I called 111, as per the vaccine literature suggested, and they advised me to go to A&E. I got my bloods and heart checked and everything seemed fine, they assumed I'd had a bad reaction to the vaccine but couldn't explain the dilated pupils.
Cut to last night, rolled myself a joint with the shake. Within 5 minutes, the exact same symptoms happened. I almost had to call the ambulance again as I couldn't catch my breath, but it eventually subsided after coming in waves for around 2-3 hours.
I contacted the seller and asked any of the strains in the shake are sprayed with anything or if they sell any other drugs that could have somehow made their way into the shake. They said no and put it down to high THC content... this is not a reaction to high THC, this is something else.
I guess what I'd like to know is, are they any chemicals or fertilizers that could be added to the weed that could cause this reaction? The dilated pupils and the fact it came in waves, leads me to believe the weed has been tainted by a chemical.
The only other explanation is that the weed is fine but it's having a very odd reaction to the vaccine. However, this seems extremely unlikely as surely we would have heard about this before now? Unless I'm some sort of medical anomaly!
I have weed from a different seller, which I will try at some point, but I'm a bit apprehensive at the moment. I don't want to name and shame the seller and accuse them of selling chemically tainted, and potentially dangerous, weed as I don't know for sure. Moreover, like I've mentioned, 90% of the reviews of this shake are fantastic. It could just be one tiny bit of a tainted strain mixed in with non-tainted.
