I'm a fan of orange strains. Mimosa is the go to but I've had an orangina that for me has more dank orange flavour and more of a creeper of a buzz. Diesel strains are also nice. Rs11 is super fruity. One of the nicest bits I've ever had was a blue nerdz. Skywalker and og crosses tend to work well. I've no idea what any of them are like to grow. The strength and flavour of the haze you have is good. Apply that to a more desirable strain and I'm sure you'll make a splash.

It's orange and diesel so sounds like a winner to me. I don't know how representative I am of the biggas on here though. I've found relatively few orange strains on here yet a lot of people seem to love those strains. Whether it's better to do what everyone does or to carve out your own corner as a vendor I've no idea. So I'd hate to steer you guys in the wrong direction due to my own personal preferences.

Really didn’t want to be the person to make one of these posts on someone’s page but feel like I need to warn any other potential buyers, STAY CLEAR.

Placed an order for an oz on March 21st (2 weeks today), I realise that it was pretty naïve on my part going straight in with an order that size with a seller with so little reputation. I’ve still not received anything as yet.

To top off comms have been poor throughout, pretty much 2 days to get any sort of response and the last one took 5days, which was me basically asking do you have any more info otherwise I’m going to dispute the purchase. The message received today offered a 50% reship of a different product that won’t be ready for another 2 weeks (expiring the dispute deadline). They did express concern for a dispute not being good for MY reputation so there’s that.

Advice to any new buyers on this site, go have a good read through some posts by PollyPuff & TheDazzler, they always have really fair and balanced advice, key takeaway is comms or lack of tells you a lot about a seller.

Hi, I loved the tropical haze freebie if you keep getting bud of that quality I will definitely be stopping by. Variety wise I love all kush and orange strains.I
I have been loving all the giveaways and competitions going on recently so thanks for yours.
As an endurer of monthly salary I have evolved my shopping style to being one big monthly splurge almost immediately after payday this saves me on fees but I have to order sensibly to cover a month. I think a lot of other people are in a similar position. If you were to do a promo, advertised around the 23rd of the month to run last few days of the month, say a £100-150 box with a decent assortment or a couple of different options and entry to an exclusive prize draw I think you could pick up a chunk of quite a few biggas paychecks and mine would probably be one.

I had never tried the strain or the vendor before both are top notch !

10/10 free tropical haze sample, beautiful smell nice bud structure and a really clean hazy flavoured smoke. Two hours later and I have still got the fog from it but haven't been wiped out just a nice sustained buzz. Really good daytime smoke but packs enough of a punch for a night time too.

Received free sample of the Tropical Haze. Nice to get a bit of haze that's not shit. The market was damaged years ago with that overproduction of rush job amnesia etc.
The smell and flavour etc took me back to a time of how a haze of any type should be.

I don’t know if it’s the best, but my favourite strain is Sour Diesel. I’ve been a fan since I tried the East Coast cut that Grey Area used to sell in Amsterdam. Some of the best tasting weed I’ve ever had.

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.

Never knew the strain but I've been forever trying to find something that I smoked about the same era that had a lavender terp.

Lovely stuff, got it once and then I've never seen anything like it since.

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

There was a grower that was producing the strongest WW ever. It’s the closest weed I’ve had that when smoked could be mistaken for isolator.
Never seen anything like it from anywhere else. Just this one grower that let it off to my pal.

I'm a big fan of mimosa. First time I had that and sluricane I was quite pleased (they were nice examples). I think my all time favourite may have been a blue cheese amnesia cross, had it around Xmas time like 12 years ago. Point in time/context definitely has huge impact on decision. I once grew some purple punch (outdoor auto flower) only got like a Q of decent bud, after few months curing was lovely, that fact I grew it made it better than it was to me.

Had a strain called Greco once that was the strongest thing I've ever had, not only gave me red eyes but also gave red rings/bags on eyes. My house mates were worried about me hahaha.

I have found that it's more to do with phenotypes and how they are grown. I've sampled different grows of the same strain and found the effects to differ with each one. Some of these grows have been some of the nicest in effects and then others of the same strain completely lack what was so nice about them.

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them

It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Amnesia haze almost always gets me to a place of euphoria that's unmatched by other strains. Would love to find a strain that's more euphoric but out of the roughly 20 strains I've tried so far nothing has been more uplifting than ami.

Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.

I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

So glad I’m not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.

I’d say Stardawg too, just because it was fuckin everywhere and was normally sub par.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.

I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the “mouth watering “ descriptions completely pass me by…occasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyho…
So I tend not to chase flavours at all and just go for effects, and I love the effects of a good Mimosa. I might have mentioned it😉

I’ve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. I’m not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbh…
What I do know is that I absolutely love a traditional stenchy, skunky, weed flavour. Not even sure what it’s called. We’ve spoken about the vomit vibes before haha, I want that shit! Smells like Mother Nature’s entire raw effluence.

I definitely taste different flavours. And Mimosa makes me sick 😂 Saying that I usually taste weed as it smells until I’ve smoked a couple spliffs. Then it’s hit or miss. Weird 😂 That’s the wonderful thing with Cannabis. The variety is astounding so everyone and their preferences are catered for 😁

Bang on, I’m not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.

Stuff gives me the shakes and heart palpitations. Had it from different growers at different times, it just disagrees with me.
The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. It’s always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

Tropicana strains when grown well are top tier however in my experience they seem to be hard strains to get right, I’ve probably tried 10-15 different versions of Tropicana cookie/cherry/banana and only 2 of them were really good (but I mean really good) a few of them were alright (nothing to write home about) and the rest were pretty awful with almost no terps and black ash.

Number one: stardawg. And all the crosses. People seem to love it, I don't.
Number two: Gorilla glue. It's strong, yeah, but seemingly at the expense of everything else. I've had nice glue crosses though.
Number three: lemon haze. This one's slightly unfair but for ages it's all anyone grew around here so I just don't care if I never see another bag of lemon in my life.
The other one worthy of note is the thin mint. I don't know what they were thinking there.

Gorilla Glue is like Russian roulette with 5 Chambers loaded.
At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

My sense of taste and smell never recovered from COVID so it can be difficult getting the flavour and smell nuances between strains. I can taste and smell the extremes though, crap and amazing. My preference is definitely Indica leaning as I've got older. I don't want to be introspective, going over all my life's choices! A lot of hybrids are fine. Don't have time for hazes.

IMO there are many factors you need to consider when trying to decide who is the Top Vendor.
Not ranked in order of importance

1) Product Selection (more choice the better)
2) Product Price (No explanation needed)
3) Product Quality (This ties in to some extent to the price of course. If flower is £100 an oz its not likely to be as good as £200 an oz flower for example)
4) Delivery Service (Do they post the day you order if its early enough? Do they mark it as sent immediately and then post the next day?Do they give tracking if asked?)
5) Delivery Stealth (no weed smells)
6) Comms between vendor and yourself. This can be very important if you have never used a particular vendor before...or if there are any delays with your order arriving. Do they reply promptly? Some vendors will just swap out your order for something similar if they have run out, others will message you and ask what replacement you would like etc.
Virtually every day someone posts a topic about X vendor not replying to their "where is my order its not arrived yet" message

Guys, have been around these parts for nearly 2 years and have tried a huge number of vendors. One stands out from the crowd. Take a bow, TheHashCollective23.

These guys have extremely good hash, outstanding at times, and the best flower I've found on LB, but more importantly, they are properly decent and personable people who go out of their way to look after the customer. Let’s talk about PGR…

Everyone seems to be going on about it recently I just want to give my 2 pence…

My understanding of what PGR is PGR = Plant Growth Regulator which growers use to increase yields on crops which makes the buds more dense.
PGR weed looks good but most of the time it doesn't burn properly and lacks smell/strength.

Now it’s a common misconception that ALL weed that’s dense and doesn't smell/taste good has PGR.

This could be many factors from Grower experience to strain Genetics.

Now you could have some bud that looks really good smells good but has a muted taste this doesn’t mean it’s been fed with PGR sometimes there’s other factors to take into consideration.

When a Pheno is saved to make a mother plant it is selected for its characteristics - smell appearance flavour yeild.
This means it’s been selected for all of those reasons or maybe even 1 of those reasons meaning a grower might select a pheno just because it yields more or looks better than the others. So basically the grower might compensate flavour/smell to get a bigger/better looking crop. That doesn't mean it’s PGR it just means the grower selected the pheno for a bigger yield/better looking bud.

So to make things simpler for people that don’t understand the basics. For example you buy 10 seeds you grow them all check which ones the best and you turn it into a mother plant. Then you take cuttings from that mother for your future grows. At this point a plant could have been selected for its yield potential or looks not flavour/smell so it will NATURALLY come out looking better than it tastes.

A lot of import has come under scrutiny of PGR because of the density of the buds. Now from my experience there is a lot of PGR riddled bud coming from abroad but
not always the case.

Some people are getting confused with dense looking buds calling it PGR when it’s not.

A lot of bud from abroad is overly vacuum sealed many times which makes the bud seem more dense and sometimes it kills the terpenes so its flavour is muted.
It can make the bud look unnaturall and deformed due to vacuum sealing for long periods of time which compresses the buds.

The take from this is basically all bud that looks dense is NOT PGR! There’s many factors that go into deciding whether it’s PGR or not I have explained in the post.

So please this one goes to the PGR police lol don’t make accusations on the vendors buds just from a picture until you’ve seen the product in person you can make a fair judgement.

If bud looks decent but is overly dense stiff no smell and burns bad yes it MIGHT be PGR.
But just because a bud has a muted flavour doesn’t mean it’s PGR it could simply be the pheno was chosen to have a bigger yield/looks and taste wasn’t a priority.

Anyways I hope that information can answer some people’s concerns I’ve had a lot of customers asking about PGR recently thought I’d share my personal experience.

There are also a lot of answers in the current supply chain dynamic both here and abroad. There is a vast demand in N.America (& Europe) for cheap distillate which to keep it cheap can be made from the poorest quality fastest grown weed utilising the worst PGR methods. As weed this would otherwise normally head for destruction but there is better money to made in calling it mids and lows and shipping it. A lot of it is machined into Shake and some of it arrives right here on LB. Of course it does🤷‍♂️

Meanwhile in the UK we all know there are organised gangs using empty premises to grow and some of these premises are BIG wharehouses and empty offices etc so it’s a big business. But the risk factor means it has to be fast, as fast as possible. PGR’s are inevitable with this dynamic. They don’t give a crap what they grow so it’s inevitably called Stardawg 😂, and yes it finds it’s way on here.

Even trusted vendors can be tempted by the margin potential on these supplies. Plus the increasing number of new vendors that pop up here every week is a clue. If it looks too good to be true it probably will be.

Fortunately we have many vendors like you that are happy to openly discuss this even when allegations are flying about so thanks!

There are naturally occurring pgr’s & synthetic pgr’s. Some are known to increase the chances of getting cancer & some are known to be completely safe. They have been used in industrial farming for a very long time. Seaweed meal & alfalfa have been used on commercial crops for ages because guess what…they have pgr compounds within them.

There’s good & bad. Most of the bad pgr’s have been banned but it seems that quite a few people in the BM still have access to this stuff & use it as they only care about profits.

It’s entirely possible that a grower has used a known safe pgr to enhance the structure of their plants or increase the trichome level. Conversely its possible that they have used a not safe pgr to keep their plants short/squat & increase bud density.

Like GC says sometimes a plant will produce particularly dense buds because of its genetics & pheno selection.

Reality is that unless you grew it or know the person who grew it 1st hand & trust them not to be a dick with things like that you have no idea what that plant was fed or sprayed with.

Really informative post GC something I've been thinking about a lot recently. I think the main thing that worries me if anything is will there be any long term health affects from consuming PGR weed especially for a long term cannabis user.

Me for example I've been smoking bud for around10 years now i just don't want anything to catch up with me later on in life I guess. In all honesty any form of smoking isn't great for your body weather it be vapes, tobacco or bud. I stopped mixing tobacco with my joints a long time ago so i guess I'm doing some justice for my body and lungs!

I saw the stats years ago on the health risks associated with weed grown using pgr’s. The stuff that everyone was using back then, from a memory a product called gravity (and multiple incarnations) did cause an increased risk to health which was why they all got banned but when you drilled down into the figures, the pgr weed had something like a 0.05% increase of certain chemicals that posed a health risk. It was ridiculously low.

I’m not defending or advocating PGR’s. I would avoid weed grown using a lot of PGR’s in general but the risk is negligible in comparison to the other chemicals widely used in growing weed.

People should be more concerned about weed that has been sprayed with pesticides. It is happening all the time. Literally every month there is another story coming out of America of a supposedly legit well thought of cannabis producer failing tests for pesticides in their weed & concentrates.

Smoking or vaping weed/extracts that have high levels of pesticides is far more damaging to your health than smoking pesticide free pgr weed. People who have been spraying crops with pesticides commercially are getting cancer & suing their employers in America as we speak. If the people spraying crops are getting ill from it what do you think is going to happen to you when you heat/burn & inhale weed containing those chemicals.

If supposedly legit & monitored producers are dowsing their weed in pesticides in a legal market (the US) what do you think is happening in black market grows across other countries.

Not to mention all the dodgy outfits spraying their weed with spice & synthetic terps.

In health risk order you should be more concerned about:
1: Weed sprayed with pesticides
2: Weed sprayed with Spice
3: PGR grown weed
4: Synthetic terps (probably safe but do you really think in the Black Market they are being careful about their selection & its long-term safety).

Sorry to paint a grim picture people.

For me personally, i stay away from any flower that is super dense, if you can't see "trichomes" with the eye and has a muted smell, it's pass for me.. I'm aways going to call it PGR or shit weed..

Now we all know good weed stinks, i mean honking stink and it should be covered in trichomes..

Smoking with vape or bongs is always going get you more stoned even if you have low grade weed.
It prob the reason most people gives 10s for low grade weed on here.

I get increasingly more paranoid about smoking shit pgr bud now and with so much being imported vacuum sealed and trimmed to an inch of its life a lot of bud now looks nothing like natural buds. The biggest giveaway for me with pgr weed is the sponge like texture. If you squeeze it and it almost springs back and grinds up like damp weed then it's shit pgr in my eyes!
