I'm a committed commie. And the more I think about it, the more I think about the fact that equality, community and respect is 'baked into' the weed smoking scene. And, if you know your communism beyond the propaganda, these values match communism well too. Discuss.

I've spent the last few months visiting the communist countries in Asia and I really feel for these guys. Insane wealth gaps, child labour and true poverty are what I've been greeted with it's been very eye opening. I guess you could argue these countries aren't true communist but everyone that has tried to go full communists economy has failed and they end up basically being owned by china. Horrible times for the people

What Strain Do You Dislike?
Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.
I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

I was going so say mimosa, no matter how good it is, those orange terps remind me of burning rubber. Strange.
So glad I’m not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.
I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the “mouth watering “ descriptions completely pass me by…occasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyho…

I hear you, I’d say I’m less of a flavour hunter too and more just looking for ways to encourage variety. I’ve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. I’m not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbh…
What I do know is that I absolutely love a traditional stenchy, skunky, weed flavour. Not even sure what it’s called. We’ve spoken about the vomit vibes before haha, I want that shit! Smells like Mother Nature’s entire raw effluence.

I definitely taste different flavours. And Mimosa makes me sick 😂 Saying that I usually taste weed as it smells until I’ve smoked a couple spliffs. Then it’s hit or miss. Weird 😂 That’s the wonderful thing with Cannabis. The variety is astounding so everyone and their preferences are catered for 😁
Bang on, I’m not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.
Hate the taste but iv yet to find a strain that is almost comparable to taking codine for feel good factor. I’ll smoke dry straw for that

The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. It’s always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

I use to get that from ammi I'm already a anxious smoker and amnesia haze was a horrible experience especially cause it was actually decent bud
Anything with piney terps for me - just really reminds me of those car air fresheners 🤮🌲 not a fan. Dunno if I am on my own with that one lol
Lemon Tree is the strain I most dislike. I use to love a good lemon skunk or lemon haze 20 years ago. Not the same anymore.
Super silver haze. Smelled like cats piss and had no body high. Muscles felt restless and uncomfortable.
All 'Haze' are sativa dominant aren't they, so yeah, you get the head high but no body chill. I know what you mean about muscles feeling that way - I get achey neck/shoulders and back and no body chill, and that's with various hybrids.

Way back I got some free seeds with the seeds I ordered. NYC diesel they were, so I grew them and was so disappointed, it tasted awful. Haven't really gone for diesel since. Have smoked loads of diesel cross.
Everest is another, it's not that I dislike the taste/high etc, but I find if I'm on it for multiple days then it really brings my mood down.

I've not tried the Tropicana strains, but I do agree about the Tangies as I don't get on with the taste of them either.

i along with alot of people i know dont like how gelato tastes but it always hits you like mad, its usually good when crossed i had gelonade recently n that was great, also had silver haze once and i thought it tasted like having coins in your mouth :(

At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

To be fair to the vendors on here I've not had any of the strains I've mentioned from anyone on LB. There's definitely more exciting strains to me available here so I'm unlikely to backtrack just to make sure I don't like it though.
My gorilla grow of 10 strains that was rumbled contained GG.

My sense of taste and smell never recovered from COVID so it can be difficult getting the flavour and smell nuances between strains. I can taste and smell the extremes though, crap and amazing. My preference is definitely Indica leaning as I've got older. I don't want to be introspective, going over all my life's choices! A lot of hybrids are fine. Don't have time for hazes.

anything purple for me, i have no idea why and its sad because it looks so pretty but it doesn't agree with me.
Dislike any orange strains personally. Also not a huge fan of gelato 41. It’s too sweet and lingers on the lips in our opinion. If you enjoy the sweeter strains then probably your cup of tea
Iv not figured out the common denominator but some strains have me feeling I can’t be arsed with anyone or anything in a none good way and like a what’s the point type feeling.

I think cigarettes actually enhance the taste and smell of the terps in a spliff. I find it a lot more dull when I smoke raw. Just tickly as fuck.

the anticipation of getting high, including buying, receiving and rolling /preparing is more enjoyable than actually being blazed. but somehow sober me cant wait to blaze, and blazed me is always a bit anxious and paranoid.

There is not the difference between indica and sativa that people imagine.
I don't really experience the sativa = uplifting, indica = sleepy as black and white as that. I believe the terps and other cannabinoid ratios make more difference.

Totally agree, as strains get crossed more and more the tastes and effects are getting similar across all types
OG's are hard to come by - I remember when cheese was everywhere in the 90's and the taste and smell was out of this world, even purple haze has disappeared and the terps were amazing with a knockout hit

I think there has to be an element of nostalgia or rose tinted specs but seems to me the feeling is so common that there must be some truth to it. It's certainly the case that I haven't come across anything with that old school skunky, cheesey, funk that used to seem so common. Original strains like cheese, northern lights, ak47, jack herrer, afghan kush etc are all things i miss.
Also been years and years since i saw what i would call proper blueberry which used to be so distinct, or tangy lemon haze that both used to be staples.
I do like a lot of modern bud but it does feel like theres something missing from much of it. Maybe it is just tollerance and a broader experience?

I can't stand it when people say they got 'gassed' off a product in reviews. Something about the word cringes me out (I know it's unreasonable).
Hybrid ratios mean almost nothing, not sure how you could ensure which percentage of which parent comes through in the offspring or realistically claim 60/40, 50/50 etc.
If you knew that you started with 1 100% indica and 1 100% sativa then technically the offspring should be 50/50 , however from experience I can tell you that some would hold more indica traits and other Sativa....Pretty sure they just estimate it and hope for the best
True enough, I guess some of each 50% or whatever won't contain information relating to the indica or sativa aspects and so can end up with any ratio of traits.

I think the problem was more people calling not very good weed stardog n then people started to get the impression it wasn't very good , a good bit of stardog is hard to come by these days but also hard to beat in terms of knock out effect

All weed tastes the same to me, don’t get all the taste notes about fruity flavours but then it’s the same with wine and coffee to me. They are all great and affect me but I seem to have no discernible palette.

Yes I did.
I received the Lemon Cherry strain of Growlers Icecaps.
It's incredible stuff, fruity terps from the bud, I taste strawberry, blueberry, cherry and lemon in that order.
The bud is covered in white THCA diamonds, both inside and out.
I highly recommend it, if you like to get seriously high.
It was also overweight, weighing in at 28.9 grams.
My only criticism is that I would like to be able to choose which strain I receive.
But the bud is fire and overweight and with the THCA diamonds, it's incredibly strong.
I received the Lemon Cherry strain of Growlers Icecaps.
It's incredible stuff, fruity terps from the bud, I taste strawberry, blueberry, cherry and lemon in that order.
The bud is covered in white THCA diamonds, both inside and out.
I highly recommend it, if you like to get seriously high.

I get a bud and prep it for the grinder, then score it with a knife until its like a bud taco. With the tip of the knife put sugar into middle of taco. Close taco. Put taco in grinder and freeze the shebang in a ziplock. Let freeze. Grind immediately on removal! Pronto. Use the weed as normal.
I'd recommend putting a little in to accompany some green ;) A bowl will do fine as well, just make sure you have a good light source

I don't think LB know how to sort it out, short of deleting and banning the odd cunts accounts. Unless someone paid them a visit.
I guess many of the technical things a website might do would involve further user validation such as mfa - which wouldn't exactly be popular here where anonymity is core. So we need to continue being vigilant and reporting to cleanup Borg to fix. I think the individual probably needs some mental help. That's probably the only bit of info I absorbed from their many posts on my page.
The crazy thing is their description of SotL etc. They sound mentally broken. I can only imagine someone shat in their cornflakes.

So how do u even know which antibiotic is required for health elements . Ie ear infections are different medication than say the clap or if u have an infected tattoo . I cant see how stocking up on meds u dont know how to use is any good at all for the general public .

Weed is sold by drug companies too In the uk. Antibiotics have been sold on LB for many years, by an Indian seller. He/she would ship them from India to the uk and it never caused a shut down far as I am aware.

It's hard to get antibiotics of a doctor or even if you have toothache with waiting lists high. People have sold antibiotics down the bottom of the items page for years on here just not from this country.
I have experienced this first hand, family member with very bad cough (over a long period of time, impacting sleep and general well-being/health both physical and mental) and possible chest infection told to wait by a GP instead of having a possible treatment. This prolonging the agony of the individual. Eventually they were given said antibiotics but after an unpleasant and unnecessary wait IE made em jump through hoops. Pretty inhumane. Also wasn’t the vile health Secretary, Tory ratbag Coffey caught selling antibiotics on or admitting doing so?

Yes, there is already a different vendor that has been selling antibiotics for a while now.
Personally I think 1 box would be enough especially the full strength 500mg Amoxicillin. Where I am if your lucky enough to get them prescribed from your GP. They either give you 7 day course of 250mg or 5 day Course of the 500mg 3 a day. . if I needed any ? Would only need 1 box.(edit )but thinking this over more, if I were to buy 2 boxes I'd have 42 tablets which would be enough for 3 doses.depending on how many you need to take on each occasion? Still expensive though when 2 boxes would be the cost of a Prescription around a 10er each 🤔
