Blackpool’s been a shithole since people stopped holidaying in the UK. No funding to drive investment, terminally declining tourism and shitty seasonal contracts are still the biggest employer. Covid caused the most recent rise when it took out many of the remaining hotels and pubs.

All those empty buildings got converted into some of the cheapest HMOs in the country. Those with education and skills leave; those without stay, and more move in because they can afford it, including low skilled and migrant seasonal workers who spend the rest of the year stuck on UC.

Yes, they blame immigration, along with every other deprived majority-white area, they’ve consistently been told to. 21st century's pit towns.

There is not the difference between indica and sativa that people imagine.

I don't really experience the sativa = uplifting, indica = sleepy as black and white as that. I believe the terps and other cannabinoid ratios make more difference.

Totally agree, as strains get crossed more and more the tastes and effects are getting similar across all types

OG's are hard to come by - I remember when cheese was everywhere in the 90's and the taste and smell was out of this world, even purple haze has disappeared and the terps were amazing with a knockout hit

I think there has to be an element of nostalgia or rose tinted specs but seems to me the feeling is so common that there must be some truth to it. It's certainly the case that I haven't come across anything with that old school skunky, cheesey, funk that used to seem so common. Original strains like cheese, northern lights, ak47, jack herrer, afghan kush etc are all things i miss.
Also been years and years since i saw what i would call proper blueberry which used to be so distinct, or tangy lemon haze that both used to be staples.
I do like a lot of modern bud but it does feel like theres something missing from much of it. Maybe it is just tollerance and a broader experience?

If you knew that you started with 1 100% indica and 1 100% sativa then technically the offspring should be 50/50 , however from experience I can tell you that some would hold more indica traits and other Sativa....Pretty sure they just estimate it and hope for the best

I think I’d make an ideal candidate as I’ve bin in to cannabis for over 20 years. It’s helped me through some ruff times and lots of good. I’ve just started experimenting in extracts as I’m a bit old school and I’m finding the variety exceptionally interesting from different textures and variations of terps and loads of different things you can do with them from just straight dabbing or decarbing to eat or pop in a vape. All in all I love my family food and weed 💚. Thanks for reply
