Sometimes you wind up in a place you never wanted to go .. and it rocks.
Montenegro, Albania, Slovenia, Romania, Gambia, Israel
wasn't really enthused as these were all group trips but fucking hell they were all sick. You could tell em you were going to Somalia and i would probably go with you nowadays, the world is vast, interesting and beautiful

Romania is fantastic๐โฆ.Transylvania genuinely spookyโฆlively and young street drinking cultureโฆstunning women (all vampires obvs)โฆ
I'll second that. I travelled from Cornwall to Bucharest by train last year, them onto Bulgaria. Romania is bloody stunning, especially as the train line followed the Danube and you could see across into Serbia.
krakow poland exemplifies many eras of europe with castles, squares and poignant reminders of ww2. the people are very friendly and the salt mines are a wonder of the world - the spot in the pic is carved out of salt hundreds of feet below ground.
Vietnam or Laos. Vietnam blew me away. Favourite spots were Hoi An, Tay Ninh and Can Thรณ. Stunning.
Please god donโt leave the city centre/Cape Town itโs like a different world outside of the capital but Iโm from Cape Town ( originally) itโs actually a very western cosmopolitan place like London with a cool โwokeโ downtown full of expensive bars and Islington/camden style living.
Itโs also on the beach with a Mediterranean style climate 1 hour from most national park and safaris.

Yes and Cape Town could use a lot more awokening, the legacy weighs heavy after a while.
Cape Town is literally the last safe place left in South Africa , heavy legacy maybe but the cape is great and comparable to California in the 90s

If youโre South Asia bound , Laos although has a clear tourist path nowadays very easy to leave it , Borneo for amazing wildlife that if we carry on will probably be gone in a few years, Hampi in india like being on a weird cross between Mars and ancient civilizations , jailsalmer india again ancient city, for the smokers the himilayas in india
New Zealand is easily the most beautiful place I've ever been. Absolutely stunning. I wasn't particularly excited about going there at first, I thought it would be a bit boring, but after spending a few days on the North Island I completely fell in love with it. I even considered living there for a while.

Iโd love to visit NZ, I can speak a bit of Maori because I used to play online with some Maori mates and theyโre some of the nicest down to earth people Iโve ever met
Considering itโs just a ferry ride they are completely different worldsโฆnorth is all sheep, rolling plains, and long beaches.. South is mad glaciers, extreme sports & penguinsโฆjust crazy ๐คฉ๐

Personally I tend to buy a mix of cheapies and mid priced stuff. Only ever get the odd expensive bit - and even then I favour a bargain. I've no idea if I'm representative of LB in general.

At least an oz, appreciate that might not be worth the effort for a lot of vendors but I imagine it would sell like hot cakes if it was grown right.

Never made a review topic before but this was such an outstanding purchase, i felt I really had to share with you all. Iโm a long time smoker so hopefully that counts for something ๐
Firstly, the description is spot on and reads of somebody who totally knows what theyโre talking about in growing terms. I was so enticed by this that I grabbed some straight away.
So to the platinum cookies x itself - first impressions; nicely formed buds, covered in trichomes - clearly grown with a lot of TLC. So loaded with resin, leaves slight oil spots on your fingers when you touch it! Grinds up nicely despite the incredibly stickyness. Smells very gassy as described, slight hint of cookies if you take a deep whiff. Stuck a fair amount into a fat joint and oh myโฆ.
I was not prepared for how strong this was ๐ I am an everyday smoker so my tolerance is fairly high. Clearly no match for this beauty though, I had to stop for a small break halfway through to just take in how high I was! Made me feel I was in Amsterdam in my own garden ๐ what a glorious way to spend Saturday in the sun.
The taste was much like the smell, very full on gassy taste followed by a very pleasant cookies aftertaste on the exhale - very delicious flavour profile. It smoked very smoothly, no harshness whatsoever.
Combine all of the above with an astonishing value for money, I felt like I had won the weed lottery a bit.
So I wanted to say a big thank you to Bald Eagle Bakery for listing such high quality smokes - long this may it continue!
