Not able to buy at present as btc fees are insane. The cheapest fee on my wallet at the moment is 36 quid to make payment on 7 grams. It's usually around a quid. Anyone shed any light on this? I've no real idea about btc and hate having to use it
Just paid 17 quid on fees for a 60 quid order. Will fix itself with time but it’s shambolic that transaxe haven’t incorporated any alternative coins.
Just tried to make a purchase today and no they aren't at all. There's no way I'm paying an extra 20 to 30 quid in fees to buy a quarter. This needs sorting out with another more stable coin option
Does this impact the processing time? I've used Exodus for the first time and reduced the fees down and now it's stuck in pending for the last 2 days.
My Exodus transfers are normally good to go in less than 30 minutes. Some have even been less than 10 mins. Is it pending on Exodus or LB?
Pending on Exodus and LB. I reduced the fee right down but it said 30-60mins transfer time. I've PM'd transaxe but waiting to hear back, the payment is being shown as being received at LB end but stuck as waiting to be confirmed. Always used coinbase without issue before but not paying a fortune in fees for an 1/8th
I believe if you reduce the fee, it slows things down. Coinbase closed my account for shits and giggles so I don't use them any more, Exodus seems so much better (at the moment)
Zengo wants a tenner to send 60, but revolut wants 17 to send 60 to 70 to Zengo. My bank didn't like Exodus or Binance or Coinbase, hence why I'm using revolut

I buy on Revolut and send to Zengo then pay from there. The Revolut fees were nuts alone, so now my moneys sat in the wallet but can't send it anywhere as it will cost me so much to do so

Haha I don't think I explained well. I send straight from coinbase. The standard £1.99 fee for buying btc has stayed the same, the network fees are imposed when sending the BTC(to pay the vendor) To the vendors wallet address.I don't think the extra security really matters(if you have bought using bank account and provided ID you are not anonymous?) I have looked at a few other exchanges even tried Binance but they were even worse nearly £30 for a £78 order O.o worse yet there is no way to see how much it is gonna cost until you have bought the BTC and go to send!

Hey I just downloaded the coinbase one wich is coinbase sister in my mind lol but it saves you some fees and you do pay 20 a month for this coinbase one but you save fees added on. Not much but it helps or even some people use these revolut accounts wich I'm tempted to look into. I'm trying difrent things out testing few ways myself but I see there alot of biggy that are very unhappy with the fees. I don't understand why I'm not feeling the bad fees. I don't think it's that bad and I don't earn lot of money myself butt it doesn't seem that bad to me. Maybe difrent for everyone considering what they use for exchange etc. Bless mate anyway hope you find one that works for cheaper

Yeah if u down load the coinbase one. Even if you make a payment just on your normal coinbase it will detect the sister and will automacily take some fees off. I did earlier to test it and took some off. Just coinbase one online. Straight to it also a month free trial

It's demand. Prices have dropped so dealing has increased, there has been a bit of a run on the market leading to higher charges to trade. It has started to calm down now, this dies happen periodically

It might be useful to differentiate the American people and American foreign policy. It seems you have conflated the two, whereas looking at the American people and domestic policy might yield better results. Guns are completely illegal in China and as we all know, China is one of the most liberated places to live on the planet! The second amendment in the US was created to provide a constitutional check on congressional power was as an auxiliary right, supporting the natural rights of self-defense and resistance to oppression. BTC fees are high right now because there are more transactions ongoing than usual and people are willing to pay lots to prioritize their transaction.
You can use Kraken instead which has slightly cheaper deposit fees but all in all everyone is forced to pay large network fees to send BTC right now, regardless of what exchange.

Hi everyone, I've had two bad transactions over the past couple of days which meant I couldn't afford the products I was hoping to buy. I need a bit of advice...
So I use Crypto.com (app) to buy BTC and then transfer it to my wallet which is Trust (app). I've done two transactions over the past two days and the amount taken away by the time it gets into my wallet is stupid..(half the amount of what I was transferring).
I am not very experienced with BTC so hoping for some advice on what to do. I basically can't buy the thing I was hoping to now because of extortionate transfer costs (transferring from Crypto to Trust wallet).

I don’t transfer to a wallet I just send straight from Coinbase I get charged not much when I buy when I send I get charged a very little network fee somtimes free depending on the amount

I've just opened the exodus wallet ,transferred only £2.80 from my coinbase account just to try it out. It was £1.09 after transfer .Coinbase to lb is 44p I think
At this time you just gotta bite the bullet unfortunately, ordered from 2 vendors today costing around 40 in fees, luckily I can order and pay later with a couple vendors I've known for years so I'm mostly doing that and hoping they go down towards the end of the month, can't do it for vapes or shrooms as my vendors are mainly flower and hash but such is life, making me smoke less for sure though haha

Same problem here. I've given up on trying to give recommendations on BTC-related posts because I always get the same 'external transactions' warning. Not sure why as the companies I mention have often been mentioned in the posts I'm replying to?!! 🤷♂️

Hi everyone, I am having difficulties in getting Bitcoin, and I don't know why. My card registered with CEX used to work, but then it was blocked (by Nationwide) due to an unspecified 'security issue' - not my fault, apparently. So I tried Kraken, only to have my account closed rapidly just a week after starting it! No explanation given, except 'Security' again. I've had similar problems with other exchanges, which means that I am currently unable to buy BTC online (or any crypto, I think).
Has anyone else had similar problems? Am I on some kind of hidden blacklist?
It's all very strange, and very frustrating.
Any advice/feedback welcome.

IMO the best method for you right now would be to open revolut acc. This can be done pretty much instantly. The no card account is free.
You can deposit £ to revolut for free, then move the £ to a cbase wallet or other wallet.
Then you can exchange on coinbase or whatever you use.
Crypto on revolut has high fees plus they are really hot on transfer of crypto.
You can actually transfer straight into cbase from rather than using card to deposit . I have done that with no issues. Cbase lowest fees.
FYI - Revolut do not report to hmrc, and are based in Lithuania.
They are FCA compliant though, your bank should have no issue with a transfer to them.

Hi, ordered from a 9.5 rated vendor who has lots of reviews. Paid before cut off and messaged to check was in time - no response. 24 hours later still showing awaiting shipping and still no response to messages. Should i cancel? If so do i just hit cancel and then provide my btc wallet address?

Everything is very slow. I had one package take me 23 days to get to ROI from UK. Although I got some carts from states within 10 days!
Couldn't say for certain but if it was coming from UK it would have been subject to delays from strike action and the days they were working, all the roads were icy for a week or so, causing further delays. All that on top of usual Xmas rush. I'd say don't give up hope just yet
little update... quite bothering to be honest. Tracking number shows it entered ROI but got 'stuck'. After 20 days or so i could not resist and i chatted with ANpost about it (this blows deniability as tracking number is attached to name on pack!). They simply told me custom fees were due, and gave me detail to pay (apologizing for not having sent a note), and so I did. Tracking number now shows the pack is being released. The question is: should I wait for it or for the garda to knock at my door? seriously?!?!?

If you're in Ireland, try the gentleman dealers, their stealth is amazing. I have had 3 deliveries, one was an ounce all get through. Best stealth I've seen on here tbh.

For future reference the dispute time window appears at the top of the order page. The start date is 9 days after the order is marked Sent and this is when the dispute tab appears. iIt expires at the end date - but you can extend it.
There is no stigma to raising a dispute. If your order arrives or you reach a settlement with the vendor you can always cancel. It protects your coin and is why LB works.
