Just a quick question has anyone had this from a vendor on here or else where and would you go and collect it after the postie has put a card in the door saying that the postage has to be paid as the stamps attached are fake ,last thing I need is to get pulled or the vendor maybe getting tugged. Any advice or story's kindly accepted.

Vendors being a cheap skate by buying the stamps of eBay or somewhere to save a few pennies.. 🤦‍♂️ always buy stamps from post office..

don’t think there’s gonna be any issue to pick it up but it’s a headache for you which could’ve been avoid if the vendor wasn’t being such a pennie pincher

Daft mistake by the seller but still 100% I would have collected it. RM staff aren't being paid enough to deliver letters, they aren't also running undercover police stings on top lol :)

The post master general will not cuff you to a pillar box - if the police had your pack the police would contact you not Royal Mail.

I'm not tying to dismiss you or your concerns btw just answering the question from my perspective, you found an outcome you where happy with and thats all that matters :)

Not sure why you need to dispute as mentioned later but usually it's pay a fee with a royal mail and get it delivered

Nope I only got a red card from postie saying there was a package to pick up when you always get a grey one to pay extra postage which I have done in the past no problems at all and my postie asked to take it and was told that it has outstanding postage and needs to be collected which is weird ,so straight away alarm bells rang so fuck that do not need the grief for a bit of bud and the reason I disputed it is the vendor called me a liar and refused to reship by another means or refund which is naughty considering there using FAKE stamps also got 3 letters today all the stamps have black pen marks across them which I am told by my postie is there way of checking my stamps are real. long live LB

You know you can just say , I don't know who sent this or what it is if it is some sort of elaborate trap?

ermmmmm because they were fake stamps wow how many times do I have to say it tell you what next time i wont ask a question and by the way i did NOT mention the vendors name anywhere and it was my postie that told me there was a problem and yep leaving it there xmas present for the posties cheers

Happened to me on dark web years ago my 1st ever buy n I had to go pay the extra I thought it as a set up but it wasn't. You might get a black line across your postage stamps for a while,it's to see if stamp is real.
It's never happened on LB .

That would be a very stupid thing to do in my opinion. Sending illegal items through the post is risky as it is, stealth is key so putting fake stamps on packages is moronic at best. I hope the vendor was unaware that the stamps were fake.

If you haven’t picked the package up yet, I wouldn’t risk it. Say you haven’t ordered anything in a while and claim ignorance. They could be on to you. See it as a loss and raise it with escrow.

Vendor has come back to me after a very nice pleasant message and said my stamps are all bar coded which does not start until 2023 and must be someone else ,my postie who i have known for 20 years described the item to me colour of package and stamp colour lol so left me no option but to open a dispute fucking madness .

These btc network fees are ridiculous atm, there needs to be a change and an alternative payment system implemented even when btc calms down. I feel like the fees may price out a lot of people from LB and would force people to look for alternatives. Really hope this gets sorted soon as I love LB but I won’t be able to continue using if the fees remain this high. 21/11/23 18:05

Think we are all on the same boat, I did check the fees at around 2am this morning 23/11 an the fees was down to just over £7 now it’s nearly 2pm same day an the fees gone back up to just over £9, just a waiting game and time of day seems to make a slight difference 💚

Also, now july 2022 sad to say Pistach has a very dark weak Trimm. Use to be the best in the LB but lately not so good. I used to get half ounce with Pistach and half from RealiD every week (Trimms). Has anybody received a red card stating under payment for their parcel from me?? One customer has said they have received a note but I cant work out what I've done wrong as nearly 100 orders with no problems?!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The one that catches people out often is the depth of the item a letter is up to 5mm and a large letter is 5mm-2.5cm a bump in the middle can push items over this.

Not sure if this helps or not as it wasn't one of your orders - but I've had this happen a couple of times with another seller, for no obvious reason.

These orders were held back by RM for being 'underpaid' but when they eventually turned up they both appeared to be just standard sized packages, and as far as I could work out, with the correct stamps. I assumed it was an overzealous worker deciding the package was too thick for the postage paid....

It was easily to resolve (once made aware - both times RM didn't let me know for over a week). I paid the extra online and on each occasion my deliveries arrived the next day.

If you know the weight is 100g or under if your using a large letter 1st class it was likely the dimensions of the package.

You can buy the sizers that they use in the post office online so you can check your packs before sending. You'll never have an issue again.
