The fees are getting out of hand once more and causing disruptions. The administration must seek solutions, exploring alternative cryptocurrencies with lower transaction fees. GAW
Wonโt happen unfortunately been so many initiatives and talk but never action T breaks and shit off the local plug for most unless you got deep pockets

As much as I love LB, this shows that for all the talk of 'Federations', 'Borgs' and Algo's we are actually in a very primitive environment technically. I say that because it hasn't been months its been years, literally years. Once the fees quieten down again any sense of priority will once again be lost. It may eventually happen but thats not helping anyone now (or the last time, or the time before that...etc etc)...
The payment escrow / processor will be the hardest thing to do. I think providing we get a response regarding this from ADMIN we will be fine. I think everyone will be happy even if it takes a month or so to complete

Just been chatting to blockchain customer services and they basically told me its a bug in the fees and they hope it will be resolved soon as they told me to try later today.

yea they said the congestion in blockchain is being caused by this bug and they did tell me to try later today.

Well btc is not getting better i just checked again at 4pm 22/04/24 and this time it wanted over $1000 in fees for a $35 transaction smh.
Just done preview buy of ยฃ100 on coinbase wallet. Says network fee ยฃ55.37 and coinbase fee ยฃ6.20. Network fee showed ยฃ70 yesterday
i managed to buy yesterday, but now i can't send it out of coinbase to my wallet cause of fees... cant even preview send to see fees but ik they are crazy
Is it a wallet with lots of small amounts in it? These cost significantly more to send, and that will be multiplied by the current enormous fees too. It cost me $33 to send $70 at a rate of 24sat/vB last week using a wallet with loads of small payments in it, and the gas fees are currently 5x that rate.

10x that now, so if my theory is correct your wallet is trying to send at even higher rates to get it through, so that fee is unfortunately correct currently in the circumstance I mentioned.

i find it puts you off most times from actually making a purchase , not only the fees are high the process of obtaining for purchase is hard , and on your side as a vendor also i am sure there's some delay of some sort.

Thanks for the warm welcome Emz2460! We take photos of our own weed and use a flash to really highlight what it looks like, but no editing or anything like that. It's always best to be honest!
The vapes are London New ones so they are top quality live resin from premium flowers and extracted from singe source strains and have strain specific highs. Most of the cheaper ones we have found either tend to be delta 9 distillate with added terpenes, or worse yet, synthetic cannabinoids, and we want to keep the product as natural as possible and wouldn't stock anything we wouldn't smoke ourselves. As for the price, they are expensive for us even when buying in bulk, and the only other place we've seen them being sold, nkdextracts, was charging ยฃ90 each, and we're offering free NDD.
Lastly, we have been looking into Cali imports, but again, a lot of the big brands seem to be focussed on quantity over quality, and we haven't found another pen we're truly happy with yet!

The rise in bitcoin fees is ridiculous, I just tried to send bitcoin over to pay for some items and btc network wants ยฃ30 in network fees, fuck that!
There are other cryptocurrencies out there that cost ยฃ0.00 to transfer, crypto's like XLM and XRP charge a fraction of a penny even when the network is busy.
Buyers and sellers are suffering because of the bitcoin network fees so why dont the devs of this website make some edits on this littlebiggy so that we the customers can pay in XRP/XLM?

So yeah I agree the fees are getting ridiculous and I about had a stroke when I had to add currency twice just to pay the fees. So i started using a wallet that tells you the fees upfront which is still crap but at least i know the damage before hand.
I don't mind paying some fees and mine only ended up being $20 thereabouts. A month or two ago I think for the same amount it was only $10 so yeah LB needs to allow us the use of less popular crypto before everyone rages and destroys things...well ok maybe that was just me lol

I was just about to order some hash for Xmas from Green Avenger Weed and had to cancel the order due to the insane fees Bittylicious are charging! Wtf is going on, it's completely unreasonable, and fucking over the buyer and seller retrospectively. We as buyers will be priced out on LB, certainly not paying a Q in fees! I've always used LB, and generally pay maybe ยฃ5 - ยฃ6 in fees which i can justify, but not these extortionate rates, they can fuck right off. You donโt need to do 4 separate transactions . Just Put everything in the same cart and When you go to pay for the cart It will give you one total to pay and the site will redirect the funds to the appropriate vendors โฆ.

Glad im not the only one outraged. Grabbed half blue cheese half shake and a vape and had to pay 30 in network fees which is beyond a joke. Came to 38 in total with coinbase fees buying coins/ sending.
Paid the same in nov but was only buying shake so could allow it but itโs ridiculous. Wonโt use LB again till itโs lowered and I suggest ppl boycott. Only grabbed off here as im out in the sticks and cars in the garage. Wonโt be back till itโs sorted. What a shame..LB was a lifesaver in lockdown

I use electrum to send BTC - this gives quite a bit of flexibility on how to pay the fee - you get 3 options and a slider.
I paid about ยฃ9 today on ยฃ200 which cleareed in about 30 mins.
I could have paid about ยฃ30 if I had chosen one of the other methods.
Also pays to look at the mempool which tells you the current rates:

Has any one tried revolut, really simple to add and send to bct address, I ordered ยฃ200 of stuff and only charged me ยฃ8 fee in total
i use revolut and the ability to use the QR code is useful , fees can be OK but they seem to vary however like you I think its very simple , just remember to delete the wallet number that you have transferred to once the order is sorted or you could potentialy send to it again in error.
If you pay 9.99 a month for the revolut plus, you got loads of benefits, including cheap crypto fees, the most Iโve probably paid is ยฃ10, thatโs buying and sending included

I made a $480 purchase the other day. My fees were $8.70 . That was with the rabbit speed. Turtle was about $6.80 and lightning was around $24 .
I stupidly didnt know what was going on with the network fees I have now had $200 dollars stuck on the blockchain for over 5 days now.

You can't. Fees are dependent on network congestion and/or what people are prepared to pay. Sending last night cost me ยฃ12 for high priority, so you're being quoted a fairly 'normal' current fee, but this can fluctuate multiple times an hour. Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon as we're all paying way over the odds currently.
ยฃ15 btc fees are insane, ontop of all of coinbases other fees. Will be the reason I stop using biggy till fees come down
I bought this morning the total fee was ยฃ2.98 for the Bitcoin network fee try later on that was around 1:30am check every 5 mins u til it changes.
If you send from a wallet it usually allows you to choose the transaction fee you want to pay, but if the network is congested the fees go up so if your fee is to low it may take ages to go through or not go through at all. if you coin is on an exchange then that won't really help, you just have to wait or swallow the fee
Unfortunately thats the case for everyone due to the network congestion. It should get lower in a few days/weeks
keep Checking the mempool space, if the transaction fees are low then it should be all good to send ๐
I made an order for about $160 and got it for ยฃ8.50 fee about 11ish, about an hour later made a $30 order and i was gonna charge ยฃ13 fee so cancelled that one
Maybe if you try and send late night or early morning the fees could be a bit more reasonable

Nice medium to large sized buds throughout the batch (6.66g nug pictured, multiple huge nugs throughout... ๐)
Super clean burn, white ash, amazing terp profile. Can't go wrong with this, just in time for Christmas!

There's another example I've had my eye on too, but the fees are stupidly high currently. They hit 190+ sat/vB for high priority in the early hours. Not viable.

Looks awesome! Old school cheese was so lovely - I don't think it's rose-tinted nostalgia to say them were the days. Was a bit disappointed when Blue Cheese came in and it was a lottery whether the plug had blues or regular. Was honestly gutted when all cheese faded and everything turned to dawg.

same issues with the society onion/cryptonic. payment amount shows as received but not moving from "your payment is awaiting confirmation" even though the blockchain shows confirmations. ugh.

My favourite strain of all time is the original blue cheese, the smell from them buds and the high was unreal. Also didnโt mind jack hearer
Mine would be Chocolope, only had it once in Amsterdam but was probably the tastiest smoke I've ever had and it hit like a train. Would love to try it again.

My all time favourite is SoGouda, a strain from Amsterdam which is G13 x Cheese x Blueberry. One of the nicest tasting weeds I have smoked. Not seen it anywhere but Amsterdam and I haven't even seen it there for over a decade. Hopefully someone has kept it going somewhere.

Grandaddy Purple for my, it was my frist taste of cali bud back in early 2010s. Never had flower packed with so much flavour comparing to the baggies from street dealers in the UK.
