Finishing a vape pen - Advice
Hey Biggas
I've recently enjoyed a vape pen but I've been left with a little juice in the tank that isn't vaping.
My first instinct is to disassemble it and use a paper clip to remove the juice and wipe it on a rizla, to smoke as a joint.
The $64000 question is, will the vape juice work with this method and get me high or...is there a better/more effective method. Thanks in advance

It definitely can be smoked, but suppose it comes down to if tis worth it.... The liquid is insanely sticky & gets everywhere.
I have tried to get out the dregs previously, but wouldn't rush back to do it again & for this reason I have a baggy of "empty" carts I'm not sure wha to do with 😂

LB down for maintenance?
Anybody else been struggling to get on via a regular browser ( or not via Society).

Yeah i think it's the same for everyone, the regular site is in maintenance as your title states, I believe it used to just say a brief message instead of the message now essentially forwarding here which is handy for people who didn't have the society onion link.

Shake - worth it?

Shake - worth it?
I'm toying with taking a punt on a shake. I'm more of a smoker than an edibles guy and I'm concerned that, ultimately I'm going to end up having to make cannabutter/cannamilk etc. Any regular shake buyers here that would care to share their knowledge/experience?

If you are on a budget and find the right stuff then yes.
Pistach is top of the game for this, it’s trim so not technically shake but I think they both get easily interchanged even though very different things. His pricing works out at approx £2.50 per gram for the oz with ndd. His MAC was incredible and his other strains are decent too, haven’t tried the ammo haze yet.
I smoke daily and shake helps soften the £££ blow to my bank account.
This is a throwaway acct as I don’t want exposure on my main one but had to chirp in on this.
I’m actually smoking a mix spliff of the cookie dough and gel 33 as I type this and I’m getting resin rings. With baccy in there. With shake.

Pistach’s trim is top notch. I have the Mac and cookies at the minute. It is 100% smokeable and saves $$$

you're a legend hope u know that! ain't just the trim you do bargains on that cookies n cream is only 180 an OZ crazyy.

Hi - relatively new account here so others will definitely have more LB experience - thought I'd chime in with my shake experience because I was also a little apprehensive. My first order included 7g of The Gentlemen Dealer's 'Mixed Dust/Shake/Small Buds' (which looks still available: https://littlebiggy.org/item/MyGsjlKDNqmHDjr7YXboT15z/view/p) Was a little overweight. Half was leaf/dust, the other half lots of little-fingernail-sized buds (popcorn!) ranging up to 3 pound-coin-sized buds. Mixed varieties. It was really nice, smoked lovely and was definitely strong enough :) Can recommend their stuff and was definitely glad I gave it a go. Cheers 👍

Awesome. Really appreciate that, thanks.
Been on here a couple of years or so and I love the community vibe/ generosity of spirit. I guess the only way I'll know for sure is if I take the plunge but you guys have all been super helpful/reassuring.

Hmmm, sorry, I don't know how to post links without it getting cut short. You need to add 7YXboT15z/view/p immediately after the 'HDjr' in the link above, if interested :)

Get a kief box or shake box,
I used a buddies box recently and first rub was like a high quality Moroccan... The box is a better investment than the shake.

Pistach. They have 3 strains of trim at the mo I think. I've got the MAC1 trim (now sold out) but all their trim is top in my experience. Good prices too. Occasionally they do half price on trim as well, so you can pick up an oz for the price of a half. Sells out quick though.

The pistach ammo shake is an amazing deal. As far as I can tell it's proper coffeeshop quality weed at a ridiculously low price AND their delivery times and stealth are second to none

Do I dispute?
OK, so, long start short - took a punt on some super cheap weed ($8 p/g). 3 weeks, still hasn't arrived. Vendor hasn't been online since.
I'm actually not bothered about the money but after 5 unreplied messages I feel aggrieved at the shoddy customer service.
I'm currently disputing it but am concerned about the reputational damage of actually completing the dispute? Any biggers with any words of advice? Ta

The “reputation “ thing is nonsense. LB takes 10-15% off vendors and part of that funds escrow, and escrow is why LB works. There is absolutely no reason not to get your coin back when it’s a dodgy vendor and you are nuts not to do it because it also flushes dishonest vendors off the site if they haven’t run already. Don’t forget if they get away with it and make some money they’ll just be back with a different name- we have to stop them getting the money!

always dispute, it can be cancelled if the seller fixes things for you and it helps other biggaz get up on things.
there really is no scenario where a dispute is not the way to go.
there really is no scenario where a dispute is not the way to go.

Agree that good comms solves everything, but comms have to work both ways. Top vendors have great comms, no comms= dispute.

Literally, any comms at all and I wouldn't even have considered the dispute, for the amount of cash involved. Its a shame as 99% of the vendors on here, in my experience, are great

You are totally correct, nearly all the vendors on here are honest and a lot are solid gold. But we have to flush out the shitters because when they get away with it they just keep coming back for more👍
It’s worth remembering that there are a lot less vendors on here than it appears…in the same way that there a lot less Biggas 😵💫

The fact it takes two weeks is a piss take, just sayin.
Many vendors make it quite apparent they're not reliable.
I miss transaxe support, least it was someone in charge you could talk to.
Also pound to the dollar is screwed right now, thankfully some vendors are having price cuts.
Must say tho, amazing choice these days, i've been selling up my small business and mourning the loss with LB purchases lol, no regrets.😊💚

If you dispute you'll win but it'll take 2 weeks, is it really worth it, it has effect on your rep just like the voting system.
I'm down $20 with Scoobies, no way i'm disputing that.

Sorry BB but that some bollocks right there buddy. See my reply to Johnny but if you let vendors rip you off to save your “rep” you are helping them fleece this site. How many times do you think the same vendors pop up under different names?
Biggas should use escrow!!

Anybody else suffer from vendor/strain anxiety?
I’ve been using the same guy ever since I found LB. I’ve had a couple of disappointing orders but the vast majority have been good to great. I’d really like to shop around but have gotten used to a highly reliable NDD service.
Any of you good people had a relatable experience? Because I’ve found a good reliable vendor I’m nervous about switching.

Hey Johnny2Bad. Totally! There was a long time that i would only buy from RB and TGT! They were reliable and the weed was good! It took a while for me to branch out and dip my toe in the waters, here. I've been stung a few times, but you kinda live and learn with it.
I made a post a week or so ago, where I asked people to plug their favourite vendors. Check it out for a list of top reccomendations!

This will be my 10th order ( so I suppose still very new to LB) but definitely time to stretch out. Thanks for taking the time to post the link, much appreciated

There are lots of good vendors on here. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for :)

yeah you aren't alone on this one, i stuck to one vendor when i found LB and felt like i had struck gold with him, but then the quality became so varied from order to order and i've been burnt by him more than enough times now that i have no reason to trust said vendor anymore or give him my cash!
was also nervous about switching vendors but as long as you stick to a certain few vendors you'll have absolutely nothing to worry about! but after seeing some insanely strange things going down on here this year i don't feel comfortable publically suggesting what vendors i would consider the best / worst, so in that case you'll have to use your own judgement by reading each vendors reviews for the past couple months!
best of luck man.

I’m fully in the research/review stage that I went through when I first joined, again. I suppose as long as I do the proper due diligence there is no reason to think I won’t find another, equally good, vendor. Appreciate the reply, thanks

I'm in the middle of re-watching Spaced and felt like I had to scroll for hours to find somebody who finally mentioned it! xD

Thank you - you just reminded me I need to re-watch spaced again!
I was too old for it even back then, but the clever references still tickle me all these years later..

Well I’ll judge you... if I could give 2 upvotes I would, agree with you totally, 2 of my fave ever shows, making me think of hitting Spaced up again...

I loved the shows of that generation. Nathan Barley. Day Today. Brass Eye also. Then The Mighty Boosh.
Holy shit the Mighty Boosh. 😂. Literally only just remembered it.
That crack fox still gives me nightmares. 🦊

Ah fuck it, nothing better to do, haha
The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this
Trailer Park Boys - Another classic everyone here should be able to relate to
Big Mouth - Great for a background watch, but really funny and does take you back to your teenage years at times, haha
Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one
Life On Mars - Made in early naughties, but just as relevant as today
Dark Tourist - good short run of a different kind of travel show. The kind of travel I like too
The Wolves Of Yellowstone - Nature documentary that has a story line Walt Disney would be proud of. Really makes you realise the balance of nature
Utopia - Such an underrated British TV series
It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia - Great zany show about dysfunctional friends who live in their own world, and drink in their own pub causing all kinds of ridiculous antics
Homeland - Great series that will always have you wondering what, or who is next
The Killing - Only recommend the first seasons. It drags you along on the witch hunt convincing you you know the answer
Punisher - About time they stuck to the gritty comic. Refreshing that this i not aimed at kids and fattening wallets.
The End Of The Fucking World - Two out there teens who decide to adventure together with, maybe, disastrous consequences

Peep show one of my all time favs and can't to wrong with arrested development what a classic

Sad that they never manager to run the show normally... And probably we won't se another season ever :( love arrested development

Currently halfway through the first series of Altered Carbon after reading this thread and seeing your recommendation. I'm a PhilipKDick fan and I'm really enjoying it, cheers 👍

Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.

End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).

100% but do you think you could watch them the other way round and it’s all still as good? As I really do, integrated them amazingly well.

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.

If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

I'm watching Detectorists at the moment. Really good. Funny and with beautiful scenery. On BBC iPlayer and Netflix.

Shout for detectorists.
Great theme tune btw.
Excellent characters.
Great series about the sackler family’s and there murderous medical misbehaviour ( painkiller )
Starring ferris bueller.

yes, they will all help make it worse. on the bright side, since everybody started typing on their phones, dyslexia is hardly noticeable anymore and you really don't have to apologise.

Yean Gomorrah is probably my number 1 show, the setting, actors, story... superb. Cant wait to watch the Ciro Di Marzio movie too.

L'Immortale or the Immortal is the name, was out last year in Italy. Have tried to find out when its out in the UK but no joy yet

Its on sky atlantic now mate, its certainly worth a watch an sets up the next season of Gomorrah nicely

Literally just finished watching brassic 2 and Save me Too. Both class. Surely everyone on here has watched Brassic.....!!!?

I do, doesn't quite hit the levels that Shameless did back in the day but still a lot of fun. Plus it's good to hear actual accents on TV instead of just American lol

If you like weird? Get baked & watch.

Ifyou seen BB, definitely watch Better Call Saul.
Comedy? The Office US and then Parks n Recreation. Or maybe Shameless US? Little Britain it's always great company.
If you seen Broadwalk E, you probably have seen the sopranos. If not its a MUST! Ive been watching House of Cards and it's quite nice too.
Maybe 6 feet under, Weeds, Dexter, Chuck, My name it's Earl??
Cience? COSMOS!!! A mind blowing and mind opening cience series. Everyone should watch it before they die. Either the original and first with Carl Sagan (it might not have the best visual representations but Carl its Carl) or the new Neil Tyson.
In to some stand ups? George Carlin is a must, the young Carlin to the old political Carlin.
I would also like to give a shout out to my Spanish Fellows on THE Money Heist.

Orphan black! one of my favourites.. the wire.. Russian doll..cynical,funny. end of the fucking world. Money heist.. prison break..cleverly written. Better call Saul if you enjoyed breaking bad.
Rick and Morty and weed is my favourite combination. Snoop dog’s talk show on YouTube is hilarious to watch as-well.
I find American horror story hilarious, but only when I’m high, otherwise it’s pretty terrifying lol.
Films : seven psychopaths is a must watch, requiem for a dream and pulp fiction, all time faves. and I did write a detailed review and much more but it was deleted :/

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.

To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.

If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!

I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)

Stranger Things Season 1 - 80's themed sci-fi thriller with endearing characters that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
True Detective Season 1 - Basically an 8 hour movie that oozes quality. Pacing/cinematography/acting/dialogue are all A++ for me.
Trailer Park Boys - Get baked, watch this, laugh your arse off.
Peep Show - Clever and hilarious.

Band of Brothers is a masterpiece, great shout! Any recommendations of war films/series that are similar mate?

Give 'The Pacific' a go. Its HBOs follow up to 'Band Of Brothers' set during the allied assault on the Pacific region during WW2

Trailer Park Boys should be perfect for everyone on here, given the enormous amount of smoking and growing throughout!

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore

Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode don’t be put off as that’s a bit shit, it does get better!
Watched “From” before that, that was pretty good too…

Devs.
New Alex Garland (Ex Machina) series on FX & Hulu in the states, not sure where in the UK. Totally brilliant, and the best cinematography I've seen on TV. Ran here in spring 2020 and I'm still thinking about it.

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).

If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

The Boys or Doom patrol, quality shows right there & the wire If you didnt see it yet,too many to name mate but try them

Undone is good and trippy with the animation style it uses and pretty unique story to boot.
You (season 1). Solid watch but latest series was a waste of time.

The Sopranos, the Wire, The Americans (best ending), boss season 1, the Divide 2014 (hard to find but worth it), true detective 4, xfiles season 4.

I just rewatched 'The Lost Room'
It's a miniseries with 3 90min episodes and it only ever had one proper airing so nobody I've ever mentioned it to has seen it.
Definitely worth a watch though💜💚👊🏻

Trying to go for some semi-obscure ones here....

Tokyo vice
Spartacus blood and sand (all 4 seasons)

Goblin slayer (not an anime fan but love this)

If no one has said it yet, Banshee. A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Loads of top shows already mentioned on this list so trying not to repeat(can't stand repeats). Didn't notice a mention for The Newsroom, absolutely brilliant with super slick dialogue, maybe stick to sativa for that one.
Also the classic stoner sit coms Top Buzzer starring a young Steven Graham and Ideal with Jonny Vegas, they will do for the indica night.

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.

All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.

Brand New Cherry Flavour if you think you'd find the subject of psychedelic sorcery played out as a fictional horror story interesting

Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.

Often overlooked, but Mike Judge of Beavis and Butthead fame created this absolute gem....highly reccomend...as smart as it is funny...

15/7.

I'm surprised no one suggested Family Business (on Netflix). A great comedy series about a family in Paris who runs a Kosher butchers and end up producing vast amounts of Pastraweed!
Really funny, great actors and all around fun to watch.
A French Breaking Bad without all the stress in a way!

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.

I know this is a bit of old news but have you seen Schitts Creek? I just discovered it and it is so funny

The Man in the High Castle is loads of fun, especially if you’re a fan of PKD. Classic UK series that are great: Line of Duty, The Fall, Peep Show, Monty Python’s Flying Circus

New British comedy horror on prime with Simon Pegg and nick frost, only a short one but was enjoyable, there’s this once scene when nick frost thinks he is about to get shanked and it’s hilarious.
It’s called Truth Seekers

Succession is better than you'd think. Punisher is the best out of all the Marvel shows, Daredevil is also very watchable (and Jessica Jones if you're into angry women with PTSD). Umbrella Academy is fun to watch. The Magicians ditto. Also The Boys.

One of my all-time favourites will always be Daria.
I just love that sassy, sarcastic, little oddball in her socially satire highschool world. Sometimes it hits close to home.

Not in Netflix, but how about the Kurzgesagt YouTube channel. It's funny, educational, soothing commentary, cute Art style a great variety of topics etc.

I'm getting exasperated here cause my bank (Clydesdale/virgin money) have banned all payments to any crypto exchanges. Googled it and opened account with a bank who apparently don't do that (TSB) turns out they have the same policy now. Does anyone know a high Street UK bank that still allows crypto purchases?? because I'm running out of hash and I'm absolutely shiteing myself. Please 🙏

Same here with Halifax. Never had an issue with them so far but the day is probably coming that they join the others.

Like talman74 said santander allows it.
They have a basic account which you don’t need a credit check for but will have to do KYC
You get two accounts in one. One is a bank card and the other is a cash card that you transfer cash onto when you want to buy or use chip and pin. I use this account as I only move what I need onto the buying card when I need to buy crypto. Reducing fraud risk. I’m sure they have a 1K limit.
If you smoke that in a month 😳 hat off to ya bro 😎 lol 😂

Most high street (UK) banks don’t want anyone dealing with crypto. Not in their best interests even tho’ it’s our money to do what we see fit. I had same issues (TSB), therefore I needed to use a ‘middleman’ Revolut online bank as I can’t transfer £ to crypto marketplace.
Transfer £ to Revolut
From Revolut transfer £ to crypto marketplace (I use Kraken)
Purchase crypto
Withdraw crypto to LB purchase 🔥💨
Sounds like a hassle & I’m sure others could advise differently but it’s really not once all in place. Transfer of funds is instant. 👍

Favourite 2 all time full album’s you listened to over and over again
I’ll start Dr Dre 2001 and Bob Marley and the wailers.

Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (managed to see them in NYC for Rock The Bells 2010 performing the whole album was a dream comes true) and the second best album for me would be Gang Starr - Moment of Truth

finally someone said Blue Lines. It's odd because in a lot of ways musically I don't rate it highly, it's kind of clumsy in parts, some of the ideas are underdeveloped, some of it almost makes me cringe. But there was just something so special about that time and the sound felt so new and yet familiar. Even though their later stuff is "better" Blue Lines has such a permananet special place in my heart.

Prodigy - Music For Jilted Generation
Leftfield - Leftism
Could list plenty but these 2 are special 😎🥳🤯👽

Could list plenty but these 2 are special 😎🥳🤯👽

Leftism is immense. It's been a while, I'm gonna have to fish it out the old collection.

Time well spent. As for The Prodigy, I saw them at Glasto in '95. They were flying high off the back of Music for the Jilted Generation. I vividly remember Keith (RIP) rolling onto the stage in a giant hamster ball. They were awesome. So much energy.

dark side by pink floyd and blonde by frank ocean. i absolutely rinse both year after year :)

Full albums I've actually listened to over and over are "The Wall" & "Graceland"
Really love listening to Graceland on a fresh sativa high)
Really love listening to Graceland on a fresh sativa high)

Graceland brings back memories of my mum blasting that album most days when I was a kid

That's how I first heard it too when my mums friend got them the album back in the early 80s)

Tom Waits "Blue Valentine", Ry Cooder "Bop Till You Drop" - honourable mention to Joni Mitchell "Blue", Janis Joplin "Pearl", David Crosby "If I Could Only Remember My Name", and a gazillion others...

I know I’m cheating but I got
Outkast- Aquemini (and stankonia)
Fugees - The Score
Jay Z - The Blueprint
Kanye - MBDTF
Nas- Illmatic

If you don’t know…wake up! 💯❤️

I’m a grump about Ill Communication. It has some great tracks on it. But the jazz filler does nothing for me.

What's going on- Marvin Gaye..almost goes as a mix album the way the songs blend into one another. So relevant to today too.
Another I've played to death over the years is Joni Mitchell- Blue. Just a sublimely chilled album.
Many more, but these two I think I have probably played the most in my lifetime so far

Portishead - Dummy

I can safely say that Appetite for Destruction is the album I've listened to the most. Carousel by Subcircus has had well over 20 years love from me as well

Dark Side of the Moon has got to be my first pick. Millionaires by James is great when you've got some sativa running through your system.

The b-side of the sit down single is Live at the Manchester Gmex. On headphones is still the best crowd singing of a song to date.

Never heard Dub Side of the Moon until today- bloody great👍- so big thanks for the heads up!!!

Wow!!!! Just WOW!
Dubside of the moon 🌙
Amazing..... how this has escaped me is beyond me 🤷♂️ I love darkside that much I have the prism tattood on my chest

2 is incredibly difficult, and I can't be the only one with eclectic tastes and a butterfly mind where these will all change regularly anyway. So I'll go with:
Ash - 1977
and
Kent - Hagnesta Hill (available in English and Swedish, so surely I get to choose both?)

I once worked on a tour of Denmark and Kent played , your comment is the only other time I’ve heard of them lol

That's so cool! Is this weird? The most unbelievably amazing band that almost no-one has ever heard of, or so it seems. They filled stadia in Scandinavia.

"The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd: Released in 1973, this album is considered a masterpiece and one of the greatest progressive rock albums of all time. It features a conceptually unified theme and explores various philosophical and existential topics. Tracks like "Money," "Time," and "Us and Them" are widely loved.
"Thriller" by Michael Jackson: Released in 1982, "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time and a cultural phenomenon. It revolutionized pop music, blending various genres and delivering iconic hits such as "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and the title track "Thriller."

Muse - Absolution( regardless if you like the band the story of the end of the world from start to end is amazing!)
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

Dark Side of the Moon, best album ever, bar none. 50 years old this year, same as me!
950 weeks on Billboard 200 chart! 750 of them consecutive!!
Lee 'Scratch" Perry - Open the Gate. Sadly deleted and expensive to buy, but can be downloaded online. 2 CDs of heavyweight 12". Jimmy Cliff got me listening to reggae, this album burnt it into my soul.

This is tough but going on repeats alone I reckon these pip it,
Riding with the king - Clapton and BB King
We're new here - Jamie xx and Gil Scott-Heron

So glad someone has shouted out Jamie xx, amazingly talented music producer the first album with him and his sister The Xx I can’t even guess how many times I’ve listened to it, song 1 known as intro is a work of art. I’m gutted they or he have released so little but sadly he probably earns more producing for other artists who are more mainstream?
Not heard of your other suggestions but will check them out based on your clearly good taste !

There are loads of full albums I’ll listen to…naming just two, well the two most recent ones that spring to mind for me Acid Bath-when the kite string pops and Oasis - definitely maybe not a bad track on either one.

My picks:
The Velvet Underground & Nico - just a classic album. Spaceman 3 "The Perfect Prescription" with an honorable mention for Ode to Street Hassle

Its an absolute epic album. That bit in Fountain and Fairfax where Happy Chichester's piano wraps around Barb's cello is heaven. Its as good an album as Black Love for sure, some fans prefer it but BL is the GOAT.

Script of the Bridge by The Chameleons. Some friends told me they would bury the album with me, I'd go to sleep listening to it.
Scary Monsters by Bowie, time of life thing for me 'Teenage Wildlife'.

Hi Mate, Got 'Script of the bridge' playing again this weekend. The album seems more poignant than ever.
Light up and have a good weekend.

Hey bud, I'm well thanks and intend to have a good weekend, it's my bday on Monday so have started early with some very nice and mood lifting Cap Junky, then for some stand up comedy me thinks.
Script of the Bridge will always be applicable to me. Finding some albums feels like finding treasure and it's one of those albums, as is From the lions mouth by The Sound, which if you haven't heard I profoundly recommend. Have a good'n mate and tell me, what are you smoking on matey and have you chonged anything recently with strong euphoric/giggly affects?

Hi Mr, Really liked that album, how did I miss that? Do you like 'sad lovers and giants' and 'and also the trees' ?

Never heard of either band before this shout. I listened to Epic Garden Music this morning on a hike and it's fantastic love the use of the keyboard and you can really hear early elements of shoegaze taking shape on tracks like "Lope" and "ART".. This is a very good band crisp.. Try listening to Soul Mining and Dusk by The The and tell me what you think. Anyway stay cool compadre.

dEUS The Ideal Crash and Pretty Hate Machine NIN. Never tire of those two... There are many more but these two popped out my cheesebox first.

Hard to pick just 2, and I see a nearly all male list below...so:
Baduizm - Erykah Badu
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush
Midtown 120 Blues - DJ Sprinkles (couldn't leave this utter classic out!)

Cheap Thrills - Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company. Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Both are extraordinary (to me, anyway) with a good dose of THC.

For me it's got to be lupe fiasco lasers album deluxe edition. And Hopsin No shame album. Can listen to every song on both and never get bored

Best Example of Communism?
some famous fails for sure but what are the success stories they dont tell us about?

Kerala in India has a long history of electing communist party politicians. It has the highest literacy rate and lowest infant mortality in India due to its policies.

I don't think Communism has ever worked as Capitalists are always creaming off the top.
A great book on the subject is Eat The Rich by the US satirist (and huge drug consumer) P.J. O'Rourke. I think his and my politics are probably polar opposites, but you could get fucked up at a party with him and have an amazing time. Anyway, good book. Breaks down all sorts of different political stances, and Good Communism is one chapter, and Bad Communism another. He's a funny guy, but maybe don't consider it as in depth reasoned academic analysis.
Ah, fuck. He died in 2022. No future parties.

Come on down voters give me a success story if you don't like the truth?? Bloody Marxists never except that it doesn't work. What ever iteration you can think of it WONT WORK!!!! everyone being the same sucks the fun out of life accept that hard work pays!

I'm not advocating for Communism but our society is full of people grafting their respective genitalia off that are still struggling financially. The idea that hard work pays ( properly) is a idea propagated by people seeking to exploit the labour of others. Nobody should need to claim benefits whilst working full time and yet...
Fwiw, I do advocate for a mixed economy. Nationalised energy, health, water, public transport etc and luxuries at the will of the free market.

You shouldn't be allowed to claim any benefits while in full time employment. It's crazy, we are basically subsidising employers who ought to be paying more.

And I hope that, one day, employers decide paying a living wage is more important than ever increasing profits such that in work benefits are no longer necessary. I propose a link between maximum and minimum pay within an organisation. Let's say; no pay ( overall package including bonuses, perks and dividends) higher than 5x the lowest full time salary.

it wouldn't even have to be a regulation, the government does business with so many companies and beneficiaries. if they don't have these multiples in place no people's funds.

employers don't make that call so much as owners do and when the owner is the stock market it's quite blind to anything but profits.
when the owners are the employees this changes priorities.
when the owners are the employees this changes priorities.

"that hard work pays" is often true and the capitalists don't only pontificate this to the masses they teach it to their children. children they practise communism with.

I’m sure there are loads they just don’t teach us about them. Capitalism doesn’t work either does it? Too many greedy pocket filling bastards. We are all the same having money doesn’t make you better than anyone else, the fact you are here spouting this shows what a sad state the world is in 😞

You should look into some unbiased reporting on the soviet Union, and some witness statements from the older generation who lived through it.
You will find that many of them tell you life was better in the USSR, than in post USSR Eastern Europe and Russia. Besides that they were several decades ahead of the west on womens rights and social services.
But like anything good, the Americans bring it down from the inside, or out, USSR, Great Britain, either way. Their media controls the narritive, and communism effects their ability to steal all the money. There is a reason Cinema is oversaturated with anti Communist rhetoric.
I'd honestly rather have the worst communist government, than be America number 2.

Yeah and east germany was the most successful communist country of all, just ask anyone that wasn't killed trying to leave.

i'd settle for being ireland number 0.5 :)
they currently have more than double the uk's gdp per capita

Have you ever listened to Konstantin Kisin? A Jewish family - He moved when he was 9 from the ussr to England at the end of the soviet Union just before the fall. His first hand account of his own life tells a very different story to what you describe.

under capitalism hard work has never paid and never will pay lmfao. communism actually prioritises labour, capitalism is about fat pigs at the top skimming off 99% of the profit we produce for them. do you not find it utterly insane tesco has like 5 different in-house brands with varying prices for essentially the same product? or that having less money means you have to settle for lower quality products that are worse for you and spoil faster?

So, you don't think lifting 4/5ths of the world out of relative poverty can be considered "paying off"?
OK Che, communism good 🤣👌
OK Che, communism good 🤣👌

do you have a source for this? not trying to challenge so much as i would like to learn more about it. maybe there is even a way the community could help.

there are community outreach programs and obviously government funded systems like food banks to help, but the crisis only really exists because the capitalist system is designed that way. we have the resources to end world hunger but it's not economically beneficial so it will never happen
these are sources on food insecurity in the uk for 2023 and 2024:
https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9209/

food for the hungry is legit and accepts crypto

Does the existence of those children make anything I said less true?
Strawman though. I didn't make a claim that there is no poverty in any country. I think you missed the qualifiers "relative" and "4/5ths" of the world.
I would say, that "starving" inarguably applies to way less than 1 in 5 children in the UK, US or anywhere in the West which makes your point about the ills of capitalism fairly moot in context.
I am no fan of cronyism, and I don't think capitalism is utopia, but it's insane to try and persuade anybody that communism would do better than this.
Thanks for the downvotes. I have over a thousand upvotes and less than 30 down.
Drop me a line next time you are tipping your bathwater into the atalantic. I'll do it too 🤣

This is one of the saddest things I've ever read on the internet xD

You stop your quotations at an expedient place. If you would have been less disingenuous about your framing, you would be honest about the fact that the reason I said it was to point out that the users who's position I criticised (fairly and civilly) had no reply apart from the futile downvotes, as I was describing.
If I was trying to persuade anybody of anything about me with only what you have entered in your own quotation marks as the context then I'd tend to agree with you. Given that you have totally taken it out of the context it was said (I mean it was clear the previous person was making downvotes vexatiously, in place of an actual cogent argument against what I was saying.
I think you probably know that, but don't care because you disagree with me 🤣 how about tackle me with some argumental substance rather than downvotes.
So, yeah, moot point. Wind your neck in mush.

In other words, you have nothing worth saying because you are too vacuous to argue your way out of the little communist hole you dug 🤣
Thick.

I came here to say this. Glad someone else knows what's going on.
It's gradual. Socialism is the route to communism. The NHS, which we are all trained from an early age to worship, was one of the first big steps in socialism. Benefits too.
Do you all remember when Richard Madeley of all people called out Susan Michie for being a member of the Communist party? She was a main player in the 'behaviour science' part of the scamdemic. Do you remember how we were all pressured into performing that awful clap for the NHS gesture? That was like something out of North Korea/China, where citizens are softly compelled into worshipping the state - like those obvious crocodile tears that were shed over Kim of N Korea.
Ugh, most people are too close to it to see it but it is ABUNDANTLY clear.
I would recommend anyone to watch Yuri Bezmenovs lecture on how the west gets subverted to Communism. He was a soviet defector who used to subvert countries and bring them into the soviet fold for a living.

@Chambertin4 I wish we lived in the world you think we live in xD
The rich people who own the media want to push an ideology that stops them being able to hoarde all the wealth? care to explain how that makes sense?

German Peasant's War (where the word communism derives), Paris Commune, two Russian revolutions minus the Bolsheviks, Makhnochina, Spanish revolution, German revolution, May 68, etc. etc. etc.
Losing in the first half don't mean the game's over.

The only people with positive stories perished in the gulags.
"It was a laugh in the beginning, but things went steeply downhill shortly after."

I don't think you'll find any. They've tried it and hundreds of millions died. Ok in principle but man's greed quickly takes over.

yeah it's the trickery of it from the knowers side and the sheer gullibility from the mark.
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need"
To the naive person, this quote from Marx sounds like everyone will just pull their own weight for others and everyones needs will be met.
But with the benefit of hindsight, it is clearly a recipe for slave labour/the gulag system where each man is worked to his utmost but only has his basic needs met. Pretty clear with the benefit of hindsight.
There are no luxuries. Worked to the max, as much as your body can stand and in return you are provided a concrete bed, thin blanket and bowl of gruel twice a day. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

Best example of communism... in the ground... deep in the ground with the devil from whence it came.

yet when everyone looks above and sees devils we know what cycle communism - or now capitalism - is in.

It doesn't work
Never has, never will.
The communists and socialists will tell you that " it just hasn't been done properly"
Problem is, they always need other peoples money to spend...

Communism is inherently tyrannical. History shows that. There aren’t any examples of success for a reason. It goes against the human spirit. Millions more died die to its tyranny than under the Nazis but you never see documentaries on the BBC or Netflix about Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. Capitalism isn’t perfect by a long way but meritocracy is natural and drives progress. People to an extent sort themselves into roles and structures on natural ability and interest. Socialism just teaches people to rely on the state whilst the state gets to dictate how people think and behave. It’s ideological tyranny on the one extreme and financial exploitation of a liberal society by the few on the other. My grandad was a carpenter and paid his subs to his union for years until he acknowledged the financial and ideological corruption that it was based on.

Not exactly a success story but interesting fact. There are more cannabis users per capita in Communist North Korea than there are in any other country. They smoke to relieve the pain of living there.

It doesn’t work people become lazy and there will always be those who have and those who have nothing.
Argentina’s current turnaround under Javier Milei from socialist basket case to small state and low interference is what you should be talking about. We don’t need the public sector time to slash it.
We need to get our self respect back relying on the state has made us weak and pathetic.

We are already experiencing communism even in the modern world , it's a hybrid between communism and democracy , based on feelings and personal I , me Happiness and DEI.
Don't work , hand outs , nobody knows what a woman is , men are all monsters and rapists , everyone can be whatever they FEEL , massive division - past remembering - payouts for past events , people split into groups protesting, government is everything - Marxsism 1:1 .
You already have 6 - 7 nations that have fallen fighting for this aspect -
Argentina - down - Saved by Milei
Columbia - down
Venezuela - down
Chile - About to fall
Salvador - Down - But saved by Bukele
Australia - About to fall
USA - About to fall - massive border issues and most cities are walking dead with people zombies being poor and homeless.
UK - about to crash due to importing victimhood across all minorities , brits on mute mode not even saying anything to anyone.
Go woke in a country and your entire society crashes.
Capitalism + Merrit Based society is the only one working.
This has been in the works tho since the 90s - starting with the feminisation of men and masculinisation of women - Split up with your men , you can do whatever you want , then they wake up at 40's with a carrer , no fam and alone crying on Socials crying for a men.
Men - don't react , be soft , toxic masculinity , every reaction has been deemed as something is wrong with you.
Therapy is all processed from the perspective of a woman , so men don't go to that.
Men just kill themselves at some point due to loneliness , women keep talking and talking and move on.
This is where you are at in 2024 in the Western World's
So majority of people need to stop and go back to standards otherwise Societies crash entirely , we see the results Live ongoing
North Korea is the only one truly communist spot ON and it's only because the majority of the population simply wants to live like that , they don't know anything else , never did , not every nation is attracted to this notion of rich , poor ,progress yourself some just want to live like in a big Foster care home totally controlled.

There has never been one.
Governments, inherently are untrustworthy, the larger they are.
More proclivity to tyranny the smaller they are - which the libertarians are blind to.
There should be a lassez faire way to govern, with a balanced and adequately sized government.
Modern progressives don't like to hear this, but capitalism has lifted the world out of relative poverty, to the extent that nothing that came before it has been more beneficial to both quantity and quality of life.
Necessary evils are all around us. We think if we are selective about the ones we talk about, then the ones we don't want to talk about will disappear for some reason.

not sure if just me but cant leave reviews have checked all orders and none have review tab ✌️

its not you its us. we are removing a few bugs from the new reviewer, functionality will return in hours.

Working no bother for me. Correct, it has changed…it’s now (kinda hidden) to the left hand side of the page. Working fine though.

I've found if you login via Society (TOR) you can see the review button. So looks fixed in society but not on the clearnet.

I didn't see it, will try looking next order I place. On society it was in the normal location on the order page for the item

Tried two different chrome (Chrome & Brave) based browsers same issue no review button (cleared browser cache etc). Tried Safari and have the new review interface.

They are having glitches with the latest rebuild but there is no time sensitive aspect to leaving reviews. Just do them when it’s sorted…

So many failed communist and socialist experiments in the last century and the greatest success of this century is freer markets in China.
Late stage capitalism sucks but what else is there and please don't ask me to trust late stage governments.

Why does it always have to fall under some strict labels that are always massive trigger words for certain people
can we just not label it anything and just fucking make logical decisions that are in the best interest of everyone instead of a few, fuck the strict criteria and labels
Carl saying "I don't know what a socialist is" at the start of the video is every conversation i've had about this with friends or other people, always try to immediately label me something and condense my views into a single word that they can then label me with

Feudalism is many times older than capitalism, and ordained by God. Still fell like a sack of shit.
It'll have a different name and iconography but communism still the only alternative. Just no leaders, no parties, no states, max automation.

Communism fails by the idea of implementation of communism - Don't you think that someone still needs to make sure that its enforced ... Thereby creating back parties, leaders, States and Hierarchies of governing ..... I am not sure but its just a thought.
Sorry did not mean to intervene.
Sorry did not mean to intervene.

i think this is the potential of decentralisation. it's not perfect but bitcoin has no enforcer but code.

The soviet in the tongue in cheek Soviet Union, means workers' councils. One person, one vote, with an elected delegate representing that be recalled anytime. One council for each workplace, and so on, all the way up. By function, it'd preclude states, parties or leaders.

capitalism is an economic system, and an excellent one at that. it is not, however, a political, philosophical or ethical system. adam smith himself pointed out that without temper from (for him, christian) ethics it would become monstrous. obviously, nobody believes any of that hypocritical, puerile (christian) shite anymore, but that is what needs replacing - the moral component. hard right ideologues that think the market knows best, and that money is some sort of god to be worshipped are stupid shits, and have been shown to be. they have fucked up everything they have touched and only crazy frightened old people don't see that. do not forget, though that socialists have not just fucked up everything they have touched, they have murdered, oppressed and starved people in ways that ghengis khan would have been ashamed of. capitalism will work fine once we all realise that being richer than everyone else is a mug's game and does not make you happy. we all just need to get by and look after each other, and i think we'll find that if that's what we want to use it for, capitalism's actually pretty good for purpose. this is all happening anyway, you don't need to do anything. how much shit gets fucked up in the meantime by greedy stupid dickheads who think enumerated economic success is any measure of anything other than what a selfish worthless shit you're prepared to be, or that it will ever make anyone actually happy, well, we'll see. in the meantime, live your life and stop trying to find something easy to blame for what's wrong with it. politicians will not save us, maybe if we stop asking them to they'll go back to doing their actual jobs (running the civil service, justice system and defence) and stop fucking everything up instead. maybe if we all stop glorifying the wealthy and powerful, they'll stop even being arsed to be wealthy and powerful (i mean, it looks like a fucking nightmare to me - why the fuck would you bother if you weren't being egged on the whole time and told that it's the only way anyone matters) and we can all just get on with looking out for each other and fostering the sorts of communities that actually do make people happy. it won't happen overnight, and it won't fix everything, but it won't happen at all if we keep expecting miracles and keep trying to tear down everything that lets us live better than people ever have. capitalism does not suck, it where all of our prosperity and freedom comes from, it is why we are not living in the squalor, violence and oppression of the middle ages any more - stop trying to tear it down, just live better, take moral responsibilty for your own life and we will all have the moral high ground to shame people who accumulate wealth and power beyond what is healthy. eventually. in about 4026. if we do not all burn or starve first. there isn't really an alternative, though... and, i mean you can order weed on the fucking internet these days!!! whaddya want out of life???

"and, i mean you can order weed on the fucking internet these days!!! whaddya want out of life??" yeah exactly wtf is wrong with people lol

Capitalism inherently involves exploiting others for profit. Adding moral considerations alone doesn’t address this fundamental issue. Such changes would transform the system into something that isn’t capitalism.

Start building guillotine napping stations for all billionaires to have a nice lil lay down, acquire and distribute the hoarded resources. Job done. EDIT: to highlight i am being deliberately OTT btw n not literally advocating mass execution. but it does feel like this whole system needs an overhaul, crazy how much the top 1% has hoarded compared to the rest of the world 🤷♂️ how is that just?

"distribute the hoarded resources" exactly, it really is wealth hoarding. Just make wealth cap, a big one $300M... How many fucking yachts do you need, how many houses...etc. Once your wonderful business acumen took you to cap level you get a medal, respect and you go onto super wall of best humans ie elite celebrities and your additional profits get distributed to less fortunate who we're not lucky to be born smart or healthy or rich or whatever.. It's just life lottery most the time nothing to do with your efforts.. Your success can not be justified.. You don't choose your genes... Is there really good argument against wealth cap?

not much of the rich's wealth is in luxury items. it's mostly capital for production.

We need to try to start standing up for what is right and see through what the political elites are implementing all over Europe.
Between the Bilderberg group and the likes of George Soros who funds all the chaos and gets very rich from the volatility that is creates in the markets.
Every time there is a major problem all the government does is rush in new laws to clamp us down even more, they are not interested in harmony it does not fit there narrative they like to divide and conquer and keep us in small groups as we are easier to control.
The Catholic church is taking it up the Gary glitter also along with the Church of England who are just as bad all whilst the UN seems to be building an army in Europe.
This is a by proxy war we are in and it is only going to get worse from here the only way we can stop this is by all standing together as humans and taking on this tyranny.
There are people being found frozen to death in cars in the UK at the moment , big groups of people living in tents in the woods right now ffs!!.
There is an evil agenda at play that these sick inbreed elites are trying to hide from us all and unless we all stand together we are all going to get screwed even more.
We would rather watch sky sports and fuck about on FB and Insta than get off out backsides and do what is right.
The whole thing stinks and needs to be called out and stop calling people racist for pointing out the truth.

We would rather watch sky sports and fuck about on FB and Insta than get off out backsides and do what is right.
The whole thing stinks and needs to be called out and stop calling people racist for pointing out the truth.

tldr guts are a key brain peripheral and cannabis effects them in ways that effect digestion, cognition and emotion.

I have ulcerated colitis and there is certainly an positive affect with weed. And I would say some strains are better than others. But I have never been able to control the strain well enough to work it out.

I loved the opener with Klingons on Earth but even then it kept getting dumber with that poor man's Kirk routine from this guy. It seems like he belongs in an old Disney movie playing off a car.

Discovery by a long way for me. It just didn’t feel like Star Trek. Rewatched all of Enterprise recently and it was way better than I remembered.

Really? The 2nd season was annoying as any grade school social propaganda but I thought the 1st season was right up there near the best Trek.

I’m sure I’ll rewatch it in a couple of years and have a fresh perspective. I just couldn’t handle ( forgive me if I’m taking Star Trek too seriously ? )the fact that, fundamentally Star Fleet is military, yes? How did Tilly make it onto a military vessel? Even Reg Berkeley for all his foibles had a semblance of respect for the fact he was on a military mission. I love Joss Whedon’s dialogue and sass but he’s an inappropriate inspiration for Star Trek characters.

A Trekker with some chops, welcome aboard sir. How would you rank Saru? I thought he was better than Data and right under Spock until they destroyed his character in the 2nd season.

saru should be carrying more of the woke issues (he's got several dimensions to work with) and let the humans stop being caricatures.

Can you remember when Enterprise was on channel 4 on a Sunday and if there was a two part one, they would show part one and forget to put part two on the week after!

totally agree. I watched part of discovery with my flatmate who hasn't seen any other trek series, she loves it and i feel nothing for it. I feel like it was made to bring in new fans
might try re watching enterprise but i don't have much hope for that either.
might try re watching enterprise but i don't have much hope for that either.

For me it has to be Enterprise. Even the theme music felt wrong to me. It felt like the cast never really jelled and as a result the whole thing feels flat and disappointing.
Maybe its time to consider re-watching Enterprise? Perhaps it will age like a fine wine! ?
I'm waiting for this thread to descend into a Star Trek vs. Star Wars debate, but we all know there is only one winner....

No. Don’t bother. It’s dreadfully noughties. Faux jeopardy and bad acting galore. Thank god Firefly came along when it did

Picard. It breaks my heart to say it, but what a huge disappointment. Patrick Stewart was wasted on that tripe.
Discovery has to be a close second it's not terrible but it's not really Trek.
Discovery has to be a close second it's not terrible but it's not really Trek.

That's cheating but hell yes!

Not sure how old this thread is but what are my fellow biggie Trekkies thinking about ‘Strange new worlds’? On Paramount +

Enjoyed voyager except for Tom Paris and his boring holodeck programme. Any episode in which he was the main character were crap but just my opinion !

the latest movies, running the same plot as the wrath of khan but instead of being in their mid 50s...which was the point of the plot...they were like 11..and it made zero sense...see now spock isnt a vulcan at all in his behaviour, he shouts and looses it like a moron...star trek is written by retarded 9 year olds now...like most hollywood crap

I kinda loved them it was nice to see a real budget at work, actually saw the 1st one in 4d.

I was going to say DS9 but I actually enjoy the later seasons. The original show was so dated I couldn’t bother to watch it. Enterprise was dire but short lived. Honestly I don’t think trek has bad series... the new films on the other hand ???

Suggestion for disposable thc vape please
Sorry for the lazy post but my old man has mentioned on a few occasions about trying a thc vape pen. He's got a dot leaf that he uses when he's out and about and a vaporizer at home. I don't know anything about disposables, coils, cells etc so thought it'd be best just trying him with a disposable before going down that rabbit hole.
Any suggestions/links to UK based sellers on lb would be massively appreciated. Thanks

There are quite a few to choose from, but I would use Canadian Imports CCell pens or the same from Sensi Mart. There is nothing simpler to use- open the packet and suck on the right end!…they are also rechargeable with a micro usb👍
You will also often see a choice of oil from distillate D9 to Live Resin or a 50:50 mix. It really comes down to personal preference so try a few over time…

Thanks, just ordered a ccel from Canadian imports.
Need to have a read up on D9/D8/live resin etc. I just didn't want to get him some random crap off the local kids as I've read most of them are just synthetic/spice. He's a true homegrown, no nasty shit smoker.
Thanks for your suggestion

D8 (&D10) are highly synthesised hemp extracts, best avoided imo. D9 (THC) distillate is extracted from the plant using CO2 or butane in a relatively cheap process. Live resin is similar but uses flash frozen cannabis leaves that preserves the plant spectrum. Rosin is chemical free since it is extracted using only heat and pressure and is therefore the most expensive…

Thank you for taking the time to explain it. D9, live resin and rosin noted.
I only tend to have rso now and the occasional homegrown but I tried a mates weed pen a while ago and it was a bit to chemically/heady for me.

We've an offer on our Ccell 0.5ml disposables at the moment. Buy one get one free. Have a browse and see if there's anything that takes your fancy. If not we hope you find what your looking for.

Just for general info. Ordered a CCell from Canadian imports the other day, took one day to arrive, dropped it off for my old man yesterday and he's just text me to say he had a couple of hits off it last night and I think we've found a winner! Nice taste, draws well, hits you quick! Seeing him Sunday so I'll have a little sample.

Have you seen her in Picard? She has aged so beautifully she could play one of Harry Mudd's women.

Iv not seen it yet been saving it for when the time is right :) she has aged so well.
She's defo one of Harry's women but didn't need to take the tablets to get there.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'd be better watching red letter media's coverage of Picard. It's... got problems lol

Me and the gf liked her, how could you not...I’d probably turn les for her if I was a woman or is this some form of cognitive bias lol

creativity. weed vs alcohol
With a nice joint I can lose myself for hours playing guitar, 3 pints+ and I'm no use to man or beast

creativity. weed vs alcohol

weed genuinely improves creative thinking and ideas (I used to think it was hippy bullshit if I read that).
you can have some great ideas with weed. just remember to note them down and not tell yourself you can remember.. a few minutes is usually enough to forget.
alcohol on the other hand.. quite literally shutting down the functioning part of your brain. so what you think is genius after several pints is nearly always the ramblings of an idiot when the blood returns to your brain.
it's no wonder society is becoming more brain dead every generation when we celebrate the latter but punish the former. cheers.

always amazed at how many great minds especially writers were drunks. if only cannabis culture prevailed who knows where we would be today

100% Alcohol can wreck lives, I've been witness to that first hand. Peace, love and Cannabis :-)

Yaassss kweeeeen! (Suuuuch a huge fan of drag race / drag in general.... makes me so happy!!)

My experience: neither makes me come up with better ideas, just more of them.
On balance most my drunk/high ideas are dumb. But occasionally they’re amazing, things I’d probably not thought of otherwise. I think I get more good/creative ideas with weed.
But I think the disparity comes from the real difference—kinds of connections I make. Weed seems to expand the world and I make new connections between different things(e.g. my mom went deaf, but if she was born death would she still think in english?).
Alcohol is more about unfiltered id and forgetting about consequences(could I stick my dick in the vacuum hole?).
Both ideas are kinda dumb but the weed idea (for me) at least made think about what my mom’s life is like day to day. The alcohol idea just made me think about how I was going to explain this to a doctor.

Inevitably anything you do on drink ends up with you either feeling embarrsed or in some cases, ashamed the next day lol. The drunker you are the worse decisions you make and stupidity overtakes any creativity. On the other hand on weed, sometimes i can be too wasted, locked to the couch to do anything, but, if im in he middle of something that requires tunnel vision type focus, and i have the right weed, i have had some very productive days/ late nights on the weed...im a coder by the way

I’m with this 100% although I think some of the shame and embarrassment following a drinking session is chemically exacerbated. I’ve had almost debilitating anxiety hungover (I’m a pretty anxious guy anyway) over the littlest things sometimes.
Although not a coder in its purest sense, my job requires me to solve technical problems on a wide range of systems, platforms and languages (i.e trawling Stack Overflow) and I find that cannabis absolutely helps with my understanding of more complex issues which seem out of reach sober.
I don’t know if there’s something going on with the clever part of my brain doing it’s work or just the tuning out of the days noise that helps but time and again a stoned me trumps my sober self in certain situations.
Note that the clever part of my brain has never shown itself on drink……

I find certain strains great for creativity- especially blue cheese, wedding cake and fat banana! It’s weird though... I am a reasonably creative person but I have ADHD and cognitive dyslexia, so I have tonnes of ideas flitting in and out of my head all the time, but rarely write them down because I’m doing doing like 20 things. Weed seems to slow things down enough for me to focus on one idea so I can work on it.
Alcohol just gives me a huge red bumpy rash on my face and elbows (weird I know), makes me feel ill instantly, and then I just fall asleep.
BORING

100% agree, Alcohol has only even damaged lives, dampens your conscisous and numbs. Psychedelics on the other hand, opens your mind, connects us with the universe and encourages us to work on ourselves for the better. Our LSD and weed journeys have only ever encouraged us to open our hearts and mind, highlighing our common values and a drive to work together for a better world :-)
Love, connection and Peace to all our brothers, sisters and all sentient beings ❤️

Not to go about the grain as I like both. I am about 300% more productive making music drunk, compared to stoned. But then the music is about 300% more enjoyable stoned afterwards.
But I cannot make shit if I'm stoned. At all. So yeah, I disagree. Good stuff though.
But I cannot make shit if I'm stoned. At all. So yeah, I disagree. Good stuff though.

Ignore this if you’ve already tried it, but have you tried some of the stronger sativa strains? They can make you super productive and creative at the same time. My faves for this are blue cheese and wedding cake. I haven’t tried loads of strains but of the ones I have tried- these seem to work best (for me anyway!) Happy New Yurrr

agree with the blue cheese (haven't had any in time) also a grapefruit strain i used to get but my old dealer never used to tell you the proper strain it was always just grapfruit or blue berry :/

Speaking for myself. Cannabinoids and ethanol can achieve more psychedelic effects together than each on their own. It's truly amazing, how trippy it can get, as far as not too much alcohol is taken. Ideally have a beer or little wine, but no shots.

Shorts rather than shots….finest tequila (100% agave) sipped with weed takes me to a very good place😻🤩

Mike Skinner of the Streets said it best ;)

I’m sure this is an old post but I’ll chip in anyway-
I smoke to get stoned but I usually don’t drink to get drunk and I think that’s the difference. Drinking great quality booze in reasonable quantities with convivial company can easily be more creative than some of the daft bolloxsh I come out with when I’m high 😂

Since i start smoking and found out about LB instead of the cops knocking the door i have the RM guy who also smiles at me. Alchool is out of my life now. Smoking for me works for almost everything creativity , studying, chilling and going to sleep.

alcohol 100% is better for my creatvity. weed is better for pretty much everything else, but all it ever does it numb me.

Alcohol (beer) when playing slots. Skunk as soon as i wake up if one has some x
read a few of your posts - alcohol for writing is my pref And weed for connecting with the ancient ancestors, i love doing that

Alcohol definitely does not help with creativity for me. Just makes me more impatient when something doesn't work first go.
However, it can be a good anaesthetic for household chores. Ironing shirts with a beer and some musics makes it far less painfull.

Ah, the battle of creativity: Weed vs Alcohol! Let's dive into this humorous showdown and explore their effects on our imaginative powers.
Picture yourself with a bottle of alcohol in one hand and a joint in the other. Now, let's see how these two contenders fare in the realm of creativity.
In the red corner, we have Alcohol! Ah, alcohol, the liquid courage that can turn any karaoke night into a memorable disaster. With alcohol, your creative juices might flow like a babbling brook, but beware! As you take more sips, your inhibitions get tossed out the window, and your brilliant ideas start sounding like they were concocted by a sleep-deprived squirrel. Suddenly, you find yourself convinced that creating a masterpiece is as simple as slapping paint on a canvas with your face. Oh, the grand illusions alcohol can bring!
And in the green corner, we have Weed! Ah, the herb of inspiration, the philosopher's puff. Weed takes you on a wild ride, where mundane objects transform into extraordinary wonders. Colors become brighter, and your imagination sets sail on a cloud of fluffy thoughts. Suddenly, you find yourself engrossed in a deep conversation with a tree, discussing the mysteries of the universe, or sketching masterpieces that you'll definitely finish... tomorrow. Yes, weed may lead you down a path filled with endless possibilities, but completing your creative endeavors can sometimes become as probable as winning the lottery with a ticket made of cheese.
Now, both contenders have their pros and cons when it comes to creativity. Alcohol might give you the audacity to explore new ideas, but be prepared for your masterpiece to look like a finger painting done by a tipsy toddler. Weed, on the other hand, may open the doors of perception, but don't be surprised if you find yourself reorganizing your sock drawer instead of finishing that groundbreaking novel.
So, who wins the creativity showdown? Well, my friend, that's for you to decide. Whether you choose to sip a cocktail or light up a joint, remember that true creativity comes from within, and sometimes the most brilliant ideas can arise from the most unexpected places – like that half-eaten burrito you forgot in the fridge. So, keep those creative gears turning, have a good laugh, and embrace the quirkiness that makes you unique!

I have to say that I do think Tate is just a bit of a cunt. His apparent attitude (assuming he's not just a shit character) to women and general obnoxious manner makes it hard for me to feel any sympathy for him (or that prick brother of his), even if he is being 'unfairly treated' and 'cancelled' by the media.

Ironic that these types are always the same.
They complain endlessly about being grievously ‘cancelled’ and yet they’re never off the fucking internet complaining about getting cancelled and things that they don’t agree with!
The mind truly boggles.
It’s also a packed field at the moment, the usual suspects lining their pockets by sowing hate, prejudice and bigotry.
Clowns to a man….

Is this the rapist "tik-tok star" that I'd never heard of until now?
Internet celebrity worship has become the new far-right religion and it's getting dangerous. "Cancel" every single one of them, or just call it what is and say he got arrested for an international crime. Just because they dismiss reality to push agendas doesn't mean their crimes aren't real.

Yeah this far right stuff is genuinely getting really scary I think people like Tate and stuff are terrible but surface level really during covid I lost a few lefty family members to these weird conspiracies that are actually the opposite and are more about accepting the capitalist system and shit. Andrew Tate is basically that and also he hates women and a worrying amount of young men agree with like just straight up misogyny.

Tim Berners-Lee (sp?) has famously said that if he had known what the internet would become he would never have invented it. That quote was some time ago…🙉🙈🙊

Words of wisdom from polly here
The Internet is both the most marvelous thing with things like wikipedia (and littlebiggy :-) ) helping mankind advance but I am very critical in the way in which social media has brought us targetd advertising, fake news and the rise of populism.
I work in IT but have never used social media myself. As a rule of thumb I always valued my privacy ever since I started getting on the web in the 90s. Having administered many web sites over the years I know all too well was one can make out of web server logs.
Apart from that the only thing that I can say is that I do recycle my pizza boxes ;-)
Cheers

Apart from that the only thing that I can say is that I do recycle my pizza boxes ;-)
Cheers

Social media has so much bad shit to answer for. Used it for my Djing & event promotion but came off it when stopped djing. Found it was like being back at high school, everyone forming cliques, a platform for narcissistic idiots and so on and so forth. Yes the Internet is great but by fuck it scares me at times 😲😲

I've avoided this "clown" (that's how he describes everyone) until few days ago when I watched interview with him.
To summarise 2h ish of bs delivered in shouting manner:
-he wants to rule the world because life is competition and he can completely destroy every clown
-we are (everyone with less money) losers of own making due to laziness or arrogance. You know we are too lazy to sign up to his get rich scam or too arrogant to learn from him how to earn £1m per month (amount required to live good life according to him).. ie again sign up to his get rich scam
Not even going into his attitude toward "females", it's pretty obvious.
It is absolutely amazing there are actually people buying into this and similiar shit. Human race is defo heading towards " Idiocracy" (dystopia movie)

It could be argued that making a shit load of money, having sex with beautiful women, being a world champion kickboxer and a top flight chess player, whilst driving a Bugatti...are (however shallow) not the worst things to aspire to.
But I do agree with both yourself, and Joe Rogan; the misogynist nonsense wasn't just unnecessary, but patently counter productive to his success. Just no need.
You can be firm, and assertive, some women like that, some men do too....but there's no need to be a complete piece of shit along with it.
This guy's definitely not met my wife! Who as a registrar pediatrician often runs an entire ward of an NHS hospital overnight... for 13 hours, on her own.
Thats real "top G" stuff.
She'd make mince meat of him. 😂🍖
Still, I can think of popular figures in the world that get far less scrutiny than Tate, but I won't go there....(meh, what the hell....fuck you Phillip Schofield).
Cheers BB 😊👍🍻

Yeah! Schofield, you massive C**T! Also, hats off and big thanks to your missus, mate. Much respect to the real Top G.

I have to say that I think he's the poster boy for the toxic version of capitalism and individualism we are currently experiencing...but...having seen people I really admire being absolutely destroyed and wholly misrepresented by the press and establishment I certainly have to pause for thought when considering his predicament. As a side note I did think the Greta Thunberg 'small dick energy' tweet was a killer burn.

That was a cracker- a teenage girl completely took him down with a single line- he tried to come back but he had nothing…brilliant!🤩😂

Nowadays people get triggered by 'personas'. They consume tabloid media and are quick to give their opinions and judgements. These personas rarely match the real people. Those who have actually met the Tate brothers have stated they are incredibly gracious and polite. However, much of the guff has been debunked, and the current allegations are yet to be proven. "Top G" is Tate's buzz word. His social media was designed to annoy and inflame... Because conflict sells... And we all have something to say about someone who was unknown a year ago. The marketing worked... And Greta's tweet roast fizzled out of an old meme, while us boomers rolled our eyes with happiness and licked the windows with glee. Welcome to 2023. Innocent until proven guilty. I await the results of the case.

I don’t read the main stream media. I don’t buy into any of the bull shit, some things he says even make sense, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a misogynistic rapist.

When I said 'tabloid'... I meant lurid and sensational.
I agree that he does say some things that make sense. I also agree It doesn't mean he isn't guilty, but it also doesn't prove that he is. I'm applying balance until he's convicted. Misogynistic rapist is quite a label... 'Misogynistic' is subjective and descriptive, that's your prerogative to think. However, 'rapist' is not at all subjective. It's a factual word. Not every misogynist is a rapist, but every rapist is a misogynist.
We need to make sure what we are accusing him of, what he's been arrested for, and why we all suddenly care about him.
I'm not a supporter. It's an interesting scenario to say the least.
Hope you have a good weekend, Ladyinred.

Why is the left so interested in attacking masculinity ?
Why is there no further talk about Epstein and the real human traffic?
Why has Bill Clinton not been brought in as a nonce yet he visited Epsteins island on more than 5 occasions??
You may not like Tates opinions but he encourages otherwise low esteem lacking young men to go to the gym and take pride in themselves which I don' t see no talk of on here mention just your usual bullshit.
Some of you are too scared of the real truth.

The truth is the truth, the fact is he speaks a lot of truths that people really need to hear, especially about corruption!
i don't like the guy, i also don't really dislike him either but the the last thing i'll be doing is jumping on the hate bandwagon that the moron mainstream wants you all to jump on, are we really trying to cancel free speech? and people want to be on board with that?
let's be real, if Andrew Tate, met Andrew Tate, he would probably hate him lol
i vehemently disagree with some of his takes, and as i've already stated i genuinely don't like him, but he's still more valuable to society than 99% of politicians, AND, even if the bullshit sounding allegations of rape and domestic violence are true, he's STILL less of a cretinous deviant than 99% of politicians
I think what i'm trying to say is, direct your hatred towards the people that really, really deserve it
