Hey, wonder if any of you have dealt with this before. Yesterday I sent my coin to vendor as usual, paid about £5 in fees to send it. Usually the transaction would have had some confirmations by now, but it’s status is unconfirmed and it hasn’t been included in any block yet. I understand that it can take longer to confirm if you set the fees low, but I’ve had transactions with lower fees than this one be confirmed faster. On my orders page the status went from paid to sent as normal. But still, when I look it up the transaction is unconfirmed. Any one else had this?

It’s so frustrating, I’ve experienced bottle necks in the chain before and many slow payment confirmations. However in one of my wallets I have over 100 pending payments now from the blockchain unconfirmed. The last confirmed payments was on the 14th!

Oh of course they will so don’t worry about that it’s just real slow, but the longest I’ve waited is around a week and thats been a week since my last confirmed payment in that wallet. Will keep you posted with any updates ok :)

Can anyone recommend me a wallet with an option for lower fees or something? My problem is if I buy say £80 of BTC I end up receiving about £74 of that because fees, and then when it comes to send coin to vendor they deduct fees again, sometimes leading to partially paid orders and under payments. Is it the same for any of you guys? Wonder if someone has any advice?

Atomic wallet it's quite good, you can lower the fees right down.
This morning I set transaction fee for 10 sats per byte and it was confirmed after 5 minutes.
Sending 160 bucks costed about 1.48 $

Not on point exactly, but yeah bitcoin fees are a pain in the arse. Is there not some way to offer other digital assets as payment. XRP fees are next to nothing and it's fast as shit too.

Yep I just had a partially paid order even tho I was sure I had enough, fees at the moment are becoming ridiculous

Yeh it sucks man, I’ve had that happen a few times. I tried out a new wallet when I ordered today, recommended to me by the feller below, it’s called Atomic, made a difference for me as you can adjust the fees down before you send to vendor to make sure they don’t deduct too much off the amount that your trying to send.

Hey I was wondering maybe if someone could help with this. I’m waiting on an order and the tracking info hasn’t updated since 2 days ago Monday 1st March. I checked it on Tuesday and still the same, but it says we expect to get your item to you today. Well it didn’t come then and hasn’t come today either, and no tracking update, it appears it hasn’t moved at all Has anyone else experienced this? It arrived at sorting office 1st March, no updates 2 days later

I've had this happen and the mail was delivered all the same, it just wasn't marked when it moved for whatever reason.

Ah I see well that’s a bit more reassuring. I thought that special delivery was like next day delivery? But I suppose the pandemic complicates things. Have you had a special delivery take more than a couple of days before mate?

Yes, they more often take two days than one, and it has been that way since the middle of last year. Only once has it taken three days, and I know the vendor was out in the sticks with limited postal collections at the time.

If it doesn't land tomorrow and has no updates, and assuming you don't live in the ass end of nowhere, then I would be concerned, but not yet.

Does anyone know how signed delivery works during covid? I’ve made an order and slightly worried that if I’m not home to accept delivery or sign for it, will I have to go to post office to collect? Wondering if anyone can help me out?

Hi mangledgura..Genuine Question during this Pandemic.at the moment..dont worry to much..normally postmen will scan the item and put it through letter box..if no one home at the time...if item to big for letter box??.and your not home.then u could speak to your postman for an alternative safe place to leave your package before it arrives...or if you have a trusted neighbour ? You could ask them to take care of it....enjoy your evening. and order when it arrives !!!:-))

Thanks for your comment, appreciate it mate :) I would imagine that the delivery will fit through the letterbox easy enough. Was just unsure what to expect with a signed order, as all my other orders were regular 1st Class.

Not a problem mate!!!. With the Covid royal mail. Sign for them.and Scan Then Stick Them Through!!.but If and When the Covid ends !!!! Lol.when it actually does get Back to the Norm!!!
You Would Have to be In to sign for them!!.or they Would stick a Card Through for u to Collect at your Royal Mail Depot!! Have a good night Mate!

So I love to read when I'm stoned , fantasy , game of thrones , orcs , currently on book 10 in wheel of time , oh and read all Raymond fiest stuff , and tons of others Im terrible for remembering name and often read the same book twice lol , would love to hear some good series in this genre as I'm always looking to find stuff I haven't read or heard of , would love to hear some of you guys favourites , cheers guys stay high,

If you haven't done so already you should check out Joe Abercrombie's First Law trilogy. By far one of my favourite Trilogies of all time. There are a bunch of spin off books too, so you will be entertained for ages. The trilogy is essentially a more gritty and morbid version of A Song of Ice and Fire( Game of Thrones)

Love Feist, read all Rift-war books. Struggled with the Wheel of time though, just couldn’t get into it.
I like David Gemmell too, he’s got some great series.

Really good books but RJ died before doing the last two books
He knew it was coming and made tons of notes about how he wanted it to end and when he passed they got a guy called brandon sanderson in to finish it off

He did a really good job of wrapping it up and is now one of my favourite authors
Check out the mistborn books or if you want a massive epic saga check out the stormlight archive starting with the way of kings

Yep, they’re the ones although it doesn’t get “dragon-y” until the 2nd trilogy (Liveships). Off the top of my head there are 15ish books in all. Would highly recommend you read them all in order, if you haven’t already.

Wheel of time Is great , really good at the min, not too many left now, will check them out mate thanks ,the names don't ring a bell but that means nothing until I look them up lol, but the thing is that's why I started thread alot of these books I've read in paperback and they are gone . I focused on my favourite books but there are alot of other series I have read but alot I would like to read again and download on Kindle so I can keep and read in the future, cheers mate
