Just started watching 'Spaced' again.
I'm 40 now so it is my generation, but it's really good!
(yup showing my age)
It's on all4. Along with Peep Show (which yeah i like too!)
Don't judge me!
Haha
Cheers BB

I'm in the middle of re-watching Spaced and felt like I had to scroll for hours to find somebody who finally mentioned it! xD
Thank you - you just reminded me I need to re-watch spaced again!
I was too old for it even back then, but the clever references still tickle me all these years later..

Well I’ll judge you... if I could give 2 upvotes I would, agree with you totally, 2 of my fave ever shows, making me think of hitting Spaced up again...
I loved the shows of that generation. Nathan Barley. Day Today. Brass Eye also. Then The Mighty Boosh.
Holy shit the Mighty Boosh. ๐. Literally only just remembered it.
That crack fox still gives me nightmares. ๐ฆ

Ah fuck it, nothing better to do, haha
The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this
Trailer Park Boys - Another classic everyone here should be able to relate to
Big Mouth - Great for a background watch, but really funny and does take you back to your teenage years at times, haha
Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one
Life On Mars - Made in early naughties, but just as relevant as today
Dark Tourist - good short run of a different kind of travel show. The kind of travel I like too
The Wolves Of Yellowstone - Nature documentary that has a story line Walt Disney would be proud of. Really makes you realise the balance of nature
Utopia - Such an underrated British TV series
It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia - Great zany show about dysfunctional friends who live in their own world, and drink in their own pub causing all kinds of ridiculous antics
Homeland - Great series that will always have you wondering what, or who is next
The Killing - Only recommend the first seasons. It drags you along on the witch hunt convincing you you know the answer
Punisher - About time they stuck to the gritty comic. Refreshing that this i not aimed at kids and fattening wallets.
The End Of The Fucking World - Two out there teens who decide to adventure together with, maybe, disastrous consequences

Peep show one of my all time favs and can't to wrong with arrested development what a classic
Sad that they never manager to run the show normally... And probably we won't se another season ever :( love arrested development
Currently halfway through the first series of Altered Carbon after reading this thread and seeing your recommendation. I'm a PhilipKDick fan and I'm really enjoying it, cheers ๐
Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).
100% but do you think you could watch them the other way round and it’s all still as good? As I really do, integrated them amazingly well.
Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

yes, they will all help make it worse. on the bright side, since everybody started typing on their phones, dyslexia is hardly noticeable anymore and you really don't have to apologise.

Yean Gomorrah is probably my number 1 show, the setting, actors, story... superb. Cant wait to watch the Ciro Di Marzio movie too.
L'Immortale or the Immortal is the name, was out last year in Italy. Have tried to find out when its out in the UK but no joy yet
Its on sky atlantic now mate, its certainly worth a watch an sets up the next season of Gomorrah nicely
Literally just finished watching brassic 2 and Save me Too. Both class. Surely everyone on here has watched Brassic.....!!!?
I do, doesn't quite hit the levels that Shameless did back in the day but still a lot of fun. Plus it's good to hear actual accents on TV instead of just American lol
If you like weird? Get baked & watch.

On that note, throw Mighty Boosh into the mix as well.

i liked that a lot more than i thought i would. also, colony on netflix even though it was killed by covid and never finished.
I'm watching Detectorists at the moment. Really good. Funny and with beautiful scenery. On BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
Shout for detectorists.
Great theme tune btw.
Excellent characters.
Great series about the sackler familyโs and there murderous medical misbehaviour ( painkiller )

Ifyou seen BB, definitely watch Better Call Saul.
Comedy? The Office US and then Parks n Recreation. Or maybe Shameless US? Little Britain it's always great company.
If you seen Broadwalk E, you probably have seen the sopranos. If not its a MUST! Ive been watching House of Cards and it's quite nice too.
Maybe 6 feet under, Weeds, Dexter, Chuck, My name it's Earl??
Cience? COSMOS!!! A mind blowing and mind opening cience series. Everyone should watch it before they die. Either the original and first with Carl Sagan (it might not have the best visual representations but Carl its Carl) or the new Neil Tyson.
In to some stand ups? George Carlin is a must, the young Carlin to the old political Carlin.
I would also like to give a shout out to my Spanish Fellows on THE Money Heist.

Orphan black! one of my favourites.. the wire.. Russian doll..cynical,funny. end of the fucking world. Money heist.. prison break..cleverly written. Better call Saul if you enjoyed breaking bad.
Rick and Morty and weed is my favourite combination. Snoop dog’s talk show on YouTube is hilarious to watch as-well.
I find American horror story hilarious, but only when I’m high, otherwise it’s pretty terrifying lol.
Films : seven psychopaths is a must watch, requiem for a dream and pulp fiction, all time faves. and I did write a detailed review and much more but it was deleted :/

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!
I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)
Stranger Things Season 1 - 80's themed sci-fi thriller with endearing characters that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
True Detective Season 1 - Basically an 8 hour movie that oozes quality. Pacing/cinematography/acting/dialogue are all A++ for me.
Trailer Park Boys - Get baked, watch this, laugh your arse off.
Peep Show - Clever and hilarious.

Band of Brothers is a masterpiece, great shout! Any recommendations of war films/series that are similar mate?
Give 'The Pacific' a go. Its HBOs follow up to 'Band Of Brothers' set during the allied assault on the Pacific region during WW2
Trailer Park Boys should be perfect for everyone on here, given the enormous amount of smoking and growing throughout!
The Wire
The Shield
Wu Tang. An American Saga
Foundation
Sopranos
Battlestar Galactica
There are gazillions more. But these are a few off the top of my head.

Since it hasnโt been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Wonโt spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode donโt be put off as thatโs a bit shit, it does get better!
Watched โFromโ before that, that was pretty good tooโฆ

The Start Up, it's on Netflix. 2 series' that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Defo worth a watch!
just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.
The Boys or Doom patrol, quality shows right there & the wire If you didnt see it yet,too many to name mate but try them
Undone is good and trippy with the animation style it uses and pretty unique story to boot.
You (season 1). Solid watch but latest series was a waste of time.

I just rewatched 'The Lost Room'
It's a miniseries with 3 90min episodes and it only ever had one proper airing so nobody I've ever mentioned it to has seen it.
Definitely worth a watch though๐๐๐๐ป

If no one has said it yet, Banshee. A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Loads of top shows already mentioned on this list so trying not to repeat(can't stand repeats). Didn't notice a mention for The Newsroom, absolutely brilliant with super slick dialogue, maybe stick to sativa for that one.
Also the classic stoner sit coms Top Buzzer starring a young Steven Graham and Ideal with Jonny Vegas, they will do for the indica night.
Once the hash and concentrates come out just put Taskmaster on it is the best thing c4 have done for a long time and requires zero brain power to enjoy perfect couch lock fodder

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.
Brand New Cherry Flavour if you think you'd find the subject of psychedelic sorcery played out as a fictional horror story interesting
Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.
Often overlooked, but Mike Judge of Beavis and Butthead fame created this absolute gem....highly reccomend...as smart as it is funny...
15/7.

A selection of engrossing stories some weird and some mind blowing.. spanning 6 seasons between 4 n 6 eps each.

I'm surprised no one suggested Family Business (on Netflix). A great comedy series about a family in Paris who runs a Kosher butchers and end up producing vast amounts of Pastraweed!
Really funny, great actors and all around fun to watch.
A French Breaking Bad without all the stress in a way!

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.
I know this is a bit of old news but have you seen Schitts Creek? I just discovered it and it is so funny
The Christmas special of Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing done in THE most beautiful part of the country North Yorkshire! Great watch when baked as fuck haha :)

The Man in the High Castle is loads of fun, especially if you’re a fan of PKD. Classic UK series that are great: Line of Duty, The Fall, Peep Show, Monty Python’s Flying Circus
Devs.
New Alex Garland (Ex Machina) series on FX & Hulu in the states, not sure where in the UK. Totally brilliant, and the best cinematography I've seen on TV. Ran here in spring 2020 and I'm still thinking about it.

New British comedy horror on prime with Simon Pegg and nick frost, only a short one but was enjoyable, there’s this once scene when nick frost thinks he is about to get shanked and it’s hilarious.
It’s called Truth Seekers
It’s called Truth Seekers
Succession is better than you'd think. Punisher is the best out of all the Marvel shows, Daredevil is also very watchable (and Jessica Jones if you're into angry women with PTSD). Umbrella Academy is fun to watch. The Magicians ditto. Also The Boys.
One of my all-time favourites will always be Daria.
I just love that sassy, sarcastic, little oddball in her socially satire highschool world. Sometimes it hits close to home.
Hoops on Netflix is also worth one or two laughs.
Tuca & Berti is also the right amount of strange.
Our Planet is a great background noise, a lot of beautiful scenery overviews.
Not in Netflix, but how about the Kurzgesagt YouTube channel. It's funny, educational, soothing commentary, cute Art style a great variety of topics etc.

Lots of good suggestions & Sopranos is also great. If you have Netflix then Orange Is The New Black is available & also Weeds from the same writer; both a bit different... ;-)

Truly terrible. Shows how much Pitt & Jolie were needed to make that story work. These two are deathly dull!

HOW DOES CANNABIS HELP YOU MEDICALLY?
Let us know in the comments, one of YOU will win 3.5G of FREE MEDICATION :)
I mainly use it to keep my stress levels under control. I would find myself getting super stressed about silly things. So much so that I could feel my blood pumping around my body. I've never been aggressive or violent, but I would constantly be stressed out. To start with I was trying to control it with Stella and super string cider. Then I found myself with a constant acid burning feeling in my belly.. then 4 years ago my misses suggested I made the change to weed and I have never looked back. Although it does make me lazy sometimes haha. But I'd rather have that than have a heart attack at 46 lol
lol, defitenely alcoohol in the long run wouldn't have helped you much, it would have really destroyed body and soul. thank god you listened to your misses, wise change. don't forget the simple things, walk barefoot in nature once in a while with your misses, quality time in nature. she saved you with that suggestion lol.
peace and love to you both, tgt x.

Thanks man I'm certainly a different man now. I will tell her what you said, very kind. Wishing you and the team much love and peace too and thanks for your suggestion we will walk with nature at the weekend x
I doubt the Stella or Super Strong cider helped with any violent tendencies you may or may not have had ๐ค Agree though that laziness over cardiac arrest any day ๐
I'm gonna apologise up front. Didn't intend to make this a long post but it's mad the things you remember when you're baked and start writing ๐๐คฃ.
TLDR: shit happens and weed helps.
Had back problems for years due to a protruding disc, that was mis-diagnosed because I started with psoriatic arthritis around the same time(2009ish).
Weed helped me with pain relief alongside co-codamol, but I also found it good for appetite, sleep and just my all round mood and mental health while I went through the methotrexate, sulfasalazine, leflunomide, humira ordeal trying to free up my joints so I could get back to work.
MRI scan found the dodgy disc around 2015, had surgery to shave off the protruding bit but that didn't work very well so it was 4 years or so of epidural steroid and nerve blocking injections (evil procedure to go through ๐), NSAIDs, gabapentin and sitting on the waiting list for fusion surgery.
Life got interesting when I had the fusion done at the end of 2019. Initially it was amazing.
Sciatica gone.
After a couple of months of recovery and rehab, I was in a lot less pain, cutting down on the co-codamol and thinking about starting to come off the gabapentin, and just using the weed to relax and ease the remaining aches and pains, that were a lot more manageable, at the end of the day.
Much success ๐ช
So may 2020, middle of the initial covid meltdown, I've been back in work full time for 3 and a half weeks working on home extension, already worried about the possibility of being banned from working ("they wouldn't close the entire country down, would they?" ๐ท๐).
5am. I'm in the kitchen doing stretching exercises and drinking tea while I wait for my morning round of pills to start working.
I'd been giving myself a couple of hours to get get my body in gear every morning before being picked up.
I was leaning over the breakfast bar, using it to lift most of my weight up off my feet to stretch the bottom of my back out. I lowered myself down and took a step towards the kettle on my right and SNAP!
Left leg gone ๐
tibia and fibula both completely separated and my foot/ankle wobbling about whilst I lay on the deck screaming.
9 days in hospital with no visits allowed waiting for a surgeon to glue me back together and I'm back home with a bottle of morphine and an 18 inch titanium bar with 16 screws stopping the wobble.
The surgical wounds took a loooong time to heal up and I wasn't discharged until January 2021. Took me a while to start trusting my new bionic left leg, but by March I was back on light duties at work and starting to feel a little bit more positive about the world.
This time I managed 2 weeks of being a productive member of society before a flipping egg yolk size blister appeared on my shin, burst and carried on leaking what I thought was blood.
It actually took them nearly 4 weeks to get me in for an "emergency" xray that showed osteomyelitis had travelled along 3 of the screws, into the bone and along the titanium, which basically required removal of all metalwork, a tablespoon size chunk of bone scraped out and one of those fancy pico dressings for a month while the massive hole on my shin tried to close up.
Mean time, the sciatica is back due to "irritation" of the nerve, and I'm hobbling around on a leg that i trust less than I'd trust Michael Jackson to babysit my kids.
My head is fooked.
I think I may have ptsd.
Pain clinic won't do anything until I've had counselling, that I've been waiting for since October 2021, and it feels like the pain specialist's attitude is basically deal with it ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Body is knackered, head is knackered, I applied for pip in June 2021 and am still waiting for a tribunal date after being diagnosed fully able bodied over the phone.
So for all of that shit ๐ (there's more but most have probably given up reading by now ๐คฃ), the one constant comfort has been the beautiful miss Mary Jane and her ability to stop me from feeling like shit 24/7 365.
She's helped me to deal with an absolute shit hand of cards, in many ways, and I love her very much ๐ฅฐ๐ .
If you got this far, we'll done! Treat yourself to a cannabis product of your choosing ๐๐

your writing skills are so captivating, felt like I was reading a book.
so many difficult moments you have been through, really had to be a warrior.
have you ever looked into any alternative/integral medicine or holistic treatments as well? neural therapy with procaine shots are amazing to regenerate the nervous tissue, many times our scars contribute for pain in other parts of our body. seems like a small detail, but could bring you more life quality in the long run. I would look into accupunture as well, or even deep tissue massage.
lots of love, tgt x

Haha, thanks.
I could've kept writing for another hour about all of the treatments I've tried.
Massage is very good for relieving tight muscles and the different buzzing, tingling, aching sensations that I get down my left leg and groin. Only problem is that relief (in my case) is very short term.
I have a spot on the top of my foot, along the first 2 metatarsal bones, that feels like I'm getting text messages on vibrate all the time. Aches like a mofo constantly.
But when I get some oil on it and give it a good strong massage, it's like flipping a switch!
All the sciatica pains down my leg stop, the vibrating sensation stops texting me and the mental relief is amazing.
The trade off though, is that the foot ache goes from constant low to mid level nagging pain, to a super localised stabbing pain right at that one spot.
The mixture of instant relief and whatever endorphins and stuff that gets released, and the new, sharp pain from the massage is very hard to describe. I'll just say that the kids find the noises I make absolutely hilarious ๐คฃ.
I'm usually back to aching within the hour, but every little helps, right? ๐

Of course I read it I'm baked rn too! i feel ya pain buddy (literally lol) its places like this that give us a chance to post stuff like that and it be totally cool so good on ya cos mine was a lot shorter, one day at a time well sometimes one hour at a time but theres always hope in the smallest of things and weed enhances that so much, lost count of the times i cant take any more meds and im chain smoking weed and throwing in some booze for good measure and then I find the right music to make me forget for just a little bit and then the drink gets put down and the smile widens as the THC has met with my wanna be dancing music part of my brain and ganged up to kick the hell out of the pain part for a bit! Boy weed rants are good lol, peace bro and hope you're not in too much pain atm
I use it to alleviate anxiety, depression, BPD and PTSD symptoms. It's not a miracle cure, but it most definitely helps. CBD every day, THC on the weekends. The CBD helps me with the every day anxiety, panic attacks and sleep problems. Vaping bud on the weekend helps me to feel normal, able to concentrate and like I'm not going completely insane with the flashbacks and emotional outbursts.
indeed, holy mary jane. there has been lots of studies on how this medicine lowers ptsd symptoms, more even with the association of thc - cbd. glad you found this relief.
I also heard of a new therapy treatment with induced lucid dreaming, sounds really interesting! in case you are not open to psilocybin. psychedelic therapy has been super effective for ptsd and depression. for bpd I guess the research is still recent, but studies show how psilocybin improves emotional regulation. in my case, the best for my depression was psilocybin.
but of course, I'm no doctor and every body is a different universe.

I use cannabis to help me switch off and unwind and ultimately sleep.. always had a problem relaxing and falling asleep ever since I was a kid and younger according to my mother.
wow, really serious issue. lack of sleep in the long run can cause so many harm to our health. alongside mary jane, some mineral reposition is key to a great quality sleep. sleep is physical as it is metaphysical, I mean, it can have a lot to do with our biochemicals. it's good to look for a doctor who works with mineral/vitamins reposition. mineral and vitamin absorption is a complex thing, many times our body needs a substance to be able to absorb another substance. I know that magnesium citrate and potassium can help, but this means nothing if your system lacks another substance in order to absorb them. have you looked into that yet?
tgt x
tgt x
Thanks for that insight but I donโt think itโs a serious issue.. a little herb a couple of hours before bed and make sure I donโt go to bed stoned out of my head then I can switch off easily and have a restful night.
Accompanied by my varied and balanced diet with regular exercise and Iโm good to go. Cheers lads.

As a younger me I had an accident on a bike breaking my arm and damaging my back, have used it since I was a teenager (alongside cocdamol) and find it helps massively with IBS and the cramping as again doctors would rather shrug it off and say crack on.
it's easier nowadays to listen to a doctor prescribe a drug that in the long run brings more risks to our system than a doctor who stands up to the medical council and recognises the efficacy of plants or is aware of the languages of the body.
if your IBS is not related to family history or bad eating habits, as is the case of my cousin, it is very much related to our mental health or even to the use of antibiotics in the long run without the essential supplementation of good bacteria (probiotics and/or prebiotics).
interesting to notice how through mary jane we can observe the intestine-brain brain-intestine communication. it relaxes, nurtures your thoughts, consequently relaxes a bit more your IBS.
have you tried the good bacteria to strenghen you? the use of probiotics can promote modulation of the intestinal microbiota by competition and consequent inhibition of pathogen adhesion to the intestinal epithelium, which means that they improve the intestinal mucosal barrier function by downregulating of mucosal immune activation, increasing mucus layer and tight junction protein production. so, in general, it promotes anti-inflammatory effects through the suppression of pro-inflamamatory cytokines, improving intestinal immunity and stimulating the production of secretary IgA (immunoglobin A, very important for the defense of the mucous membrane) and intestine-brain communication.
I'm an enthusiastic about psychosomatics, integral health and chinese medicine. through an holistic view, our intestines teach us that more important than possessing is knowing how to enjoy, that offering is as vital as conquering and that the only true appropriation is the possession of oneself. in the movement of filling and emptying, they enable each individual to know themselves, to build themselves, to exercise themselves, to improve themselves and to offer themselves, guaranteeing the healthy peristalsis of behaviour and emotions.
I went deep on this one, lol.
peace and love,

glad to hear mary jane brings relief to your pains. also, magnesium citrate replacement helped me a lot with the contractures and muscular pains that I had. and, without a doubt, psilocybin exorcised the depression demon out of me (and many other people that are also healing from it with psychedelics therapy).

In July last last year in 2021 i had a life changing event not what I ever imagined at my age. I was in so much agony I could have been paralysed if they didnโt do the emergency operation on meโฆ
Iโm 33 and had both my discs removed from lumbar spine which has put me in a wheelchair, due to weakness and tremors in both legs.
Iโve had physio and Iโve been discharged from them too.
Pain killers donโt do me justice cannabis or hash is my pain relief, it helps me get an appetite as been bed bound I dont ever feel hungry so it helps.
I am in severe pain everyday due to been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, cannabis helps my pain. Without any bad side affects unlike prescribed medication from doctors. That make you feel terrible.
Im not able to get upstairs due to my house that cant be adapted. Im on a waiting list for an adapted property so im able to have a proper shower as i havent had a proper bath/shower since july 2021.
Upon all of above it has affected my mood by having these life-changing effects. Before I had 6 jobs n now Iโve been medically retired!
Cannabis also helps me sleep and get a good nights rest, without it I donโt sleep.
It also helps with stress to help me concentrate better. And stop me from been scratchy.

I get relief from anxiety, and also muscle cramps due to being on my feet all day working. And it helps when I'm feeling a bit down. I think things would definitely be worse without it.
weed defitenely helps in this situation. if I were you I would pay attention to the cramps, they can mean lots of things. even dehydration because if you spend long times up in your feet, you need to guarantee good blood flow. low mineral depletion could also be a factor that enhances this kind of pain. since I started to replenish magnesium citrate in my body (1 pill during the morning and 2 at night) i've slept much better and felt much less muscular cramps. things we eat interfere a lot in our blood supply as well. just avoid dehydration as much as you can. i'm no doctor but, wish you all the best.

Ur totally right dehydration happens a lot due to not stopping and having liquids enough at work, sometimes find myself at 5pm having only had one drink for the day but that's my fault, but something I'm gonna improve see if it helps. Cheers guys.
It helps just about everything for me, pain relief for both diabetic neuropathic and back injury pain. It reduces apnea:(it started when I had a five year break) and insomnia. And the main one for me is anxiety, although I must say the munchies do not help the diabetis!
I am not sure I'd be alive without cannabis today. A lot of people like to paint daily use as an addiction, but for me its medicine. When I stop using cannabis, withdrawal is not new symptoms due to addiction, but a return to the stress, grief, and nightmares the holy herb alleviates for me.
Cannabis as a tool to alleviate grief has been fantastic for me. One of my best friends riding along the hardest journey of my life!

It calms down my whole world, keeps me cool. Used all sorts of drugs to get rid of my anxiety/depression but never weed alone. Now at 48 I have used only weed for the past two years and what a difference. Tried the medical weed but itโs shit in my opinion. I found the green team and have discovered the perfect smoke. ๐๐ป๐๐ป
I'm an amputee...lbk. I get terrible phantom limb pain...burning/ intense pins and needles...permanently! Have tried everything to control it and I really don't sleep much...tbh the best way to sleep for me us to get absolutely wankered so I pass out...obvs this is not a good life choice! Weed/ hash helps me cope and keeps me relatively sane...also helps me sleep...sometimes.
This is why I'm always placing my orders at 3am ๐

has given me my life back to the point I can go mountain biking again. It's literally a godsend and nothing the dr's and neurologists have given me has worked, so feck pills I'll stick to the herb.
Interesting thread this I've enjoyed reading all of your reasons, I still find it mad that alcohol is legal and weed isn't. Long term alcohol use has never helped anyone, but look what this plant can do.

It helps me with massively with migraines. I've been suffering with really bad migraines since I was 7, have been going to doctors about it for about 15 years now and I still haven't found a medication to work as well as weed.
It is quite astounding how much of a difference weed makes, there's times where it makes it dissipate completely. I have yet to even get close to getting such relief using the prescribed medication doctors give me. I experienced weed in College and haven't looked back since.

I use hash only for migraine prevention. I have suffered for more than 10years with chronic, debilitating, pupil piercing pain, every other day if not daily. I'm on Triptans for the pain and anti-psychotic preventatives after no other preventative medication would take. The preventatives i take are in the main for people with epilepsy to prevent seizures, amazing really! Anyway, I found my regular source of hash when I found LB and my migraines have been all but absent for the past 18months, but ove the last 4 odd weeks, due to forced T breaks and dry days here and there, my migraines are creeping back in, and the pain which was all becoming but a distant memory now are becoming all too real again. I have stockpiled quite a few Triptans but I still have to wait for the migraines to set in before i can take them and endure a hell of a time with pain before they take effect. I don't want to start taking the epi pills again. The ridiculously good quality of hash available on LB is what has made my quality of life so much better and TGT were the firat vendors I used on here and was blown away with their Ketama Gold, remember that one guys...if you get any back in i would just love some! Now am just waiting for some orders to land but sodding RM is not helping, longest wait so far as of today waiting 14 days and counting for a normal post pack. Stay cool ๐
I smoke to treat long-term C-PTSD symptoms. It is the only thing that relieves the physical stress held in my body. Research shows mushrooms are one of the best treatments for alleviating symptoms and regenerating atrophied receptors in the pre-frontal cortex, but I have too much anxiety to hold my shit together on mushrooms so they are a no go for me. Weed is is the only way.
I've been prescribed it medically for just over 2 years and it's made a massive difference to nerve damage and pain that the pills side effects can ruin minds and relief never came, I used to just enjoy it recreationally but daily medical use changes how i view and use cannabis and the state of the legal
After ending up with long COVID, cannabis has become the one thing that's effective at removing the pain. It's so much easier trying to sleep and make my way through the day thanks to this ๐
When I was around 11, I was diagnosed with a number of muscular diseases, triggered by an aggressive virus. This whole process also led to me developing anxiety and stress epilepsy. Nothing really helped, painkillers can have a minor effect and keeping yourself fit and healthy definitely makes it a bit easier, but there was never any true relief. That was until a friend introduced me to hash at 14. At first it was just fun because I thought it was cool and I'd never experienced anything like it. As I got older I started to enjoy learning about the varying effects different strains of weed/hash could have. I also began to realize how much relief it gave me from my pain in my head and body. I got into the routine of going to school and then work, and having a smoke at the end of each day to wind down. No matter how much pain I was in physically or mentally, cannabis gave me true relief. I could have the most stressful day of my life, come home in a shit mood, but after I smoke my worries disappear, as does the pain.
Cannabis is amazing and it's a shame it's been a pawn in political agendas for the last 50 odd years because it's a wonder drug that everyone should have access to at least every once in a while. Little Biggy is fantastic because once you find sellers you trust, you're guaranteed quality at a cheaper price than on the street. Been ordering from TGT for a couple years now and not planning on stopping anytime soon x

I have a back injury from the military and ADHD and OCD, so nowadays when I'm a bit older that's pretty much why I smoke cannabis in the evening for. I'm leaning more for the Indicas/Kush to be honest, but it's also nice to have some good old haze on a nice summer day. If this was US, I would be 1st. On the medical cannabis card, but let's wait and see, at least we got LB and TGT since I'm really againts any street level retailers. Thanks for being here for us, and for exceptional service ๐

Helps with the pain and general feeling rubbish all the time depression.
And stress just lets me get on with having a life
I started taking medical cannabis about a year ago due to having severe bowel malabsorption since 7 and anxiety to where I never leave the home due to my stomach issues so after 20 years of suffering I turned to cannabis and haven't looked back. honestly the laws are stupid it should just be a medication and see as that even with years of Dr's tablets I was in the bathroom 6 hours a day all my life until now where I can just have like 2 js or some other form of thc a day and my stomach is completely fine weed honestly took me from wanting to step of the railing every day to having somewhat of a life even though my heath still isn't perfect it's a damn lot better thanks to using this medication.
Anxiety and back pain.
The back pain has been a constant and due to being an oversized bean pole with a desk job will probably never go away for good. But since lockdown I've found cannabis is the only thing that lets me release the tension and focus on the bits I need to do my physio effectively, without it I over-tense and can't activate the muscles I need to without activating everything else around them.
The anxiety is a bit different, sometimes it's low level and I don't need cannabis to help, sometimes I can tie myself up so much I stammer... until I smoke. This is a more recent problem brought on by long periods of high stress, but people keep telling me to get diagnosed for ASD, which would explain a lot! I watched a video the other day where this doctor said some people use cannabis "to modulate neurodivergent behaviour" and thought that sounds about right! ๐

So I have a flipside medical story...
A few years ago I had thyroid cancer and had my thyroid removed. Subsequently I am prescribed levothyroxine which is a synthetic thyroxine substitute. Without it I would go into a coma and die. Problem is it is common to struggle to get the dosage right as it is all linked to diet and hormones and there are some horrible side effects. Palpitations, trembling, stomach cramps etc.
Anyway I have smoked weed for the last 30 years but then the THC exacerbated my symptoms and made me far worse.... so I had to stop. God I miss it. Nowadays I smoke occasionally, usually in the mornings when the dreaded surge has yet to awaken.
The moral is...there is a flipside to weed and it's impact on our lives is not always a path to utopia.... just saying

PTSD means I have hyper vigilance, I'm always on edge.
When I smoke I feel normal again. I can work, engage with friends, and be a happier, more productive version of myself. Keeps the nightmares away too lol

I have wet macular degeneration caused by VERY high myopia, so I'm basically losing my sight. There's no cure, but Cannabis helps with my mental health. (keep it light lol).
Love you guys
Love you guys
I use it to improve my mood, relaxation and sleep...I used to use alcohol to relax but glad I changed...
Oh yeah its why im here, 17 years security services then a major spinal injury so a decent indica helps the PTSD and pain relief, I buy a lot of shakes from here to smoke and make a cannabutter with the rest as I have to take price into account now i'm retired, weed improves my quality of life so much I literally cant put how much into words. Ty to all growers, vendors and smokers who keep this site going!

IPTV suggestions?
IPTVaddict or Streamking
IPTV suggestions?
Sup biggas. I'm gonna get myself a nvidia shield pro tv and wondering if anyone has any IPTV suggestions? I hear tivimate is the app to use with the setup too. Anyone who has a shield or is clued up on IPTV, id love to hear your thoughts. Will be sacking off my VM subscription when it ends hopefully in place of this as i hear its the way to go now. Cheers.
Tivimate is definitely the app to use with IPTV and the shield but youโd need the paid version as this gives you much more features including being able to record any stream and the developer updates it regularly. Iโd save some money and just get a firestick as if you are just streaming then the shield is an expensive overkill
"Mainstream" is very reliable..

Whichever provider you go with, Tivimate is definitely the player to use. Pay for the full version. It's just gone up to a tenner for a year but it's well worth it. Loads of features, including recording and a great interface. Very easy to navigate and it's brilliant for VOD too.

Just want to know whatโs peoples experience with Lean ? Iโve recently made my own and I went straight in balls deep the other night and did a full 50ml 100mg in 1 drink and was so high so fast lol . How are people drinking these 1000mg ones I see here just in tiny bits?
Never tried lean and never tried edibles. But from what I've been reading on here I may have to give them a try.
Do they hit different to smoking? I'm 100% bong smoker but recently been considering swapping to vapes and edibles for my health.

Mate, you donโt have to swap, just go โPortfolioโ ๐โฆmix and match with your mood๐ป
The (right dose) edibles high imo is VERY different to smoking or vaping. Itโs very intense, hugely euphoric, vision a bit 4D, but shit-it lasts for hours!(and takes time to kick in)โฆyou really have to make time for it, there is no jumping off ๐ตโ๐ซ
Vaping massively trumps smokingโฆ.why?โฆbecause combustion is the Devil ๐น

Thanks for the reply Polly.
I've tried vaping but never with a "decent" vape so been a bit underwhelmed.
Are there any vapes out there that hit like a bong and don't cost ยฃ500+ (e.g. Flowerpot thingy)?
I'll have to give some of this lean a go, seems like an easy way in to edibles :-)

Aww man, to compete with bongs you need to go straight to โextractionโ devices rather than lower temp, vapourisers. A low cost way to do this would be a Dynavap M, a butane fired device, from about ยฃ60. I find them fiddly as fuck but they are much loved..seriously!๐ป
If you have ยฃ299 the TinyMight 2 is the kit of the moment but you donโt need to start there.
Try it all๐๐คฉ

Are the cubes and bears supposed to be so solid?โฆ.jeez they are seriously hard gummies?!
Lol all my candy is hard candy atm like cola cubes. gummies are in the test phase ๐๐คค
Like pollypuff said they are a whole different thing compared to smoking takes a lot longer to hit but when it does it kicks like Bruce lee . Start small find your tolerance 30mg would be a safe starting point , enough to get you high but not enough to end up like me lastnight๐๐ตโ๐ซ๐ตโ๐ซ
Mate, a true 1000mg would be too much! Probably just people over exaggerating or dealers speaking rubbish! I am going to pick up a couple of these next payday...everything else you have listed has been spot on man!
Cheers bud. Yea it canโt be right lol! Iโve eaten a lot of strong edibles recently haha and 1000mg is Impossible imo not a chance.
Took me months to get the Lean right you wont be disappointed dude it is really good ๐คค๐

Wouldnโt suggest drinking in one like I did tho unless you like not using your legs๐ 2 drinks from one bottle I think is a good high not to intense
2 x drinks from 100mg is sensible way to do it. Having said that I've not long had one of the fizzy bears followed by a lolly... So i must be nearing 100mg ๐
Prepare to be in my state๐ Iโve eaten a cookie with a squeeze of lean on it 2 hours ago and my head is buzzing and my hearts pounding sat on the shitter no joke ๐ตโ๐ซ over did it this time ๐ซ
Tried half a bottle of the 100mg lean this morning after reading this i don't think I should of had two of the bears as well. Light weight!! Great product by the way and definitely a returning customer
Did you get the carabiner one? And Thanks bud๐ haha itโs untested on my end for the wake and bake to scared ! just stick with my biff till I get brave later ๐
Yes to both :) officially locked to the sofa. Thank god I managed to give the kids there breakfast first
Yeah man, the mango ones. Even got the Mrs to have one ๐ Its all good, just surprised me a little as it took a while to kick in... Fucking flying now haha
Always wait that 2 hours bud. Iโm good now by the way ๐ it ended around 1am๐๐
Think it's a case of do as i say not as i do ๐ haha nice one, didn't spend all night stuck on the toilet then? ๐
Fizzy bear followed by a lolly was definitely too much but a good laugh, glad I didn't have anything to do today... Feel like a teen again & slept in till midday haha

Yea man the next morning feels like youโve been on a 12 hour bender. Goes away in about an hour lol
Is it just THC in there? I might have to grab some but last time I tried something was salvia and the stuff was madness, since then hash and bud only
always wanted to try THC lean mate, although 100mg would barley affect me, might buy the 500mg option next month nice shop btw I like the vibe and colours
Cheers bud appreciate it. i was thinking to go crazy with the doses but majority of people canโt have that much so thought Iโd just match it up with the rest of my products strengths and price and then people have a choice of how much they eat of drink. However Iโve found drinking hits very fast I drank a full one the other night in one and was fucked๐คฃso you could be alright
guess in a way they are like bong hit as you have all of it and no waste unlike J's (no smoke loss but in this case drink lol)
Ill give them a try for sure next month mate, even if it's just the 1
oh yeah one more question how does it taste? like does it taste like weed or is it sugary and sweet? not sure in the process of making these

It really taste as the flavour dude very sweet tasting when mixed with lemonade recently ive switch it out for soda water for myself and find its perfect not to sweet , no taste of weed as itโs made with only quality distillate. PM me bro il sort you out a sample a months to long to wait๐โ๐ปEddy

Limited โCaliโ in stock. - We have managed to get our hands on a batch of White Gushers imported last week from a grower in California that we are trying out. This is a premium strain that the grower mainly supplies to dispensaries, but has recently started to cut out the middle man and sell direct to other sellers. Due to this the product does not come in the usual sealed dispensary packaging as we get it delivered as a single block.
White Gushers, is a Hybrid strain and a member of the Cookies family with Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush parents. People who like Runtz and Zkittlez will also enjoy . Gushers is a high-THC, low-CBD cultivar, and has strong, euphoric effects that can initially feel enervating, then sedating. Named for its explosively thick fruit flavor, it's available as flower or extract. Growers of all skill levels and grow it indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouses. Gushers came from a group of growers affiliated with the Cookie Family on the West Coast in the 2010s, but it can be found worldwide. People consume Gushers for pleasure, wellness, and medical symptom management including pain, nausea, and insomnia.
Come and grab a sample pack to try this strain whilst stock lasts...

Wisdom tooth removal.
Was wondering if anyone had any experiences with smoking/vaping after having a tooth removed?
Was thinking about eating some of my hash but not sure how to go about it, donโt wanna get too wrecked haha

Not an issue for me but I did cover the gaping hole with my tongue on inhaling as a sort of natural protective thing to do ๐ซฃ

Haha cheers for replying. Im going to avoid smoking and vaping as itโs the negative pressure that can dislodge the clot and cause issues.
I was thinking of just warming up a pipes worth of hash in some oil and necking it.

Hi Cley1
I didn't mention it in my review but the first thing I did when I received my first order from hashishin is eat a bit of caramello.
I've always preferred hash which is potent enough to be eaten - my favourite being Black Afghan. Some cheaper hashishes just won't do much if you eat them but top quality squidgy hash like the ones Hashishin sell can be eaten.
That is what they used to do in many cultures - if you're into middle eastern / eastern European music that is what the mangas of Greek Rebetika music used to do.
With Hashishin caramello I started on the safe side with 0.3g and I did get exactly what I bargained for.
Usually I would take a bit of Black Afghan and flatten it a bit so that it covers the surface of my little finger nail - between 0.3 and 0.5g I reckon.
But as pollypuff pointed out not all people react the same way so start with 0.3g and be very patient ;-)
Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to respond mate. Iโve just taken the plunge and warmed a pipes worth in some olive oil and just necked it.. probably didnโt need warming but I thought the oil would help it ingest more efficiently. Donโt know what it weighed but a pipes worth of that size smoked gets me high.
You're welcome.
I much prefer eating hash than smoking it.
But that only works with top quality hash, but then again we have LB for that :-)
That being said once you get the hang of it - for a given hash - dosing and timing are fairly easy.
Cheers

Hi Pollypuff
I did it too but I'm naughty: the dentist removed both a molar AND a wisdom tooth at the same time. Plus the stitches...
They warned me strongly against smoking as it could get infected.
But that didn't dissuade me and I did the same thing as you.
The thing is that nicotine is a vasoconstrictor so it prevents healing.
Another reason why you shouldn't smoke nicotine if you have gum disease (which I do like many people).
These days I get back with my vapcap and edibles so nicotine is out of my life :-)
Cheers

With you buddy- I donโt smoke nicotine and used a low temp. Vape for weed. Your advice on eating top quality hash is really useful ๐๐, thanks ๐
Hi pollypuff
You're welcome.
But as you've pointed out many times your mileage will vary as they say.
But if you aim for top quality black - the type which does not require a lighter - then these work for me.
5 hours flight with a peak at 2 1/2
Cheers

Hi there PP! May I ask about the "eating hash" comment?...How small or large do you go? I sometimes just eat the "crumbs" left over after preparing my vapes...I quite like the taste...sort of sweet and spice combined...I don't really get any effects from the crumbs though :)
Hi, your vape shoulder have taken all of the goidness out of the hash so the effects should be minimal. I would suggest decarbing some fresh hash and literally trying 0.2 of a gram, it sounds low but as polly says it is powerful! I ran 5g of london pound cake and 1g of a kush isolate i to 35ml of MCT oils, 1ml is plenty!
Aw mate, we are all so different with edibles. I have Hashishinโs taffy coffeee coin and I literally only eat the (fresh) crumbs. But then on edibles I am a wussโฆand I love it! ๐๐ป
Yeah, had my bottom left one removed a few years back. I was given some pain relief but decided to try a J. Like Polly, I covered that area with my tongue and had no issues. I found the pain relief from a J better than the pills.
Think Iโll err on the side of caution after reading horror stories on โdry socketโ and infections that smoking can cause. Cheers though.
Yeah, I was concerned about the dry socket thing too. I wasn't smoking a lot, but the odd one now and then was fine. Whatever make you happy bud ๐
Wise man, had too many teeth out all bar one got dry socket which fucking hurts like a bitch and will require cleaning and โpackingโ.
But Iโm a hypocrite mate, I chonged joints while my face was still numb ๐๐คฃ๐
If gonna smoke just have some pain relief ready in case you get it!

The trap I find people falling to when getting in to any type of gardening is that they can get quite excited, and 'up for' the hobby, leading to overdoing things.
Go easy on the nutes, let the soil dry out between waterings, don't overload the space.
Air flow and humidity are important, especially later on.
Have a plan for drying it out properly now, because no matter how delicious your crop is fresh, you can totally ruin it badly tending to it after.

My first grow was by by far my best weather this was down to strain or luck idk ๐คทโโ๏ธ ๐ I put it in a cubord full of foil was before I even got a rent but just water and basic nutrients make sure gets enough light to dark. A good flush and extra long cure are secret to any good bud.. But only ever grown a couple for personal use their are some great growers on here Iโm sure will have better advice for you good luck ๐
No worries ๐ and your hash looks very nice will try remember to use you next time Iโm after some
