Why aren’t these guys on the wall ? Their products are fantastic especially their hash. The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this

Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

I'm writing a script and some of my characters are on a serious amount of LSD. I took it myself when I was younger but that was a long long time ago in a galaxy far away. I've found loads of non-fiction accounts but I was looking for something more creative.
There is a stark realism that shows he has definitely “been there” but the craziness and quantities involved have to be fiction- I don’t believe anyone could walk away from those levels! (Even Jonny Depp in the film version!)

Philip k dick- many are inspired and involve these themes try Ubik or “the three stigmata of Palmer eldritch” but the best writer of the suggestions you have received so far is Tom Wolfe- the story of Ken Kesey writer and 60s iconoclast- “the electric kool aid acid test”- a classic

“LSD my problem child” is a really good book by Albert Hoffmann the person who was the first to take LSD and discover it. And “How to change your mind” is another good book
Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon contains an awesome acid sequence about 100 pages in. The Illuminatus trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson also has many mind bending episodes.

Hey friend, sounds like you have a great project on yoru hands. I would highly recommend "LSD and the Mind of the Universe: Diamonds from Heaven" by Chris B bases his research on the grandfather Stan Grof's high dose LSD therapy. There are so many amazing insights which would help you in your script.

I’ve since tried a few diff strains since then...jamaican sess...some South African and most recently Thai book of wisdom from Drugsinc. Loved them all! Anyone know if there’s anything about at the moment? I haven’t been able to see any on here.

Just an observation, poor quality soap bar that infested Europe 20 odd years ago wasn't on the Moroccan farmers. They were just producing what was asked for from the largest European importers who wanted to max profit. Younger guys won't want to smoke this anyway. I don't mean to generalise but the facts are the facts whether you like it or not. I have bought it twice now for someone i know who is in his 50s. He is over the moon with it so regardless of what my opinion is the only opinion that matters is the person paying for it. I know for a fact if i tried to sell it to a younger smoker it would be a hard sell.

I’ve noticed class A substances on the wall. Surely this is a quick way to get LB really bad press and closed down. Got nothing against the aforementioned substances but I think they would be better off on the darknet.
Agreed, with the exception of psychedelics. Not only are they relatively safe, they carry less social stigma and are less likely to attract negative press. What denotes a 'psychedelic' vs 'non-psychedelic' substance I suppose is a little subjective (e.g. research chemicals) but maybe I'm overthinking it. This is one of the best communities I've ever encountered on the internet in recent times so I have faith.

so obviously this one customer completely didn't understand the point of this chocolate bar to be extremely concentrated and strong. gave me a shameful review only taking into account the size of the bar, which this person didn't appreciate even though size, weight and strength mentioned clearly in the item's details. ignoring it's strength and flavor completely. I felt obligated to respond and defend the 'Apollo's' good name. much love to all you little biggaz out there. Peace!

You are absolutely right my friend, that was not a brilliant thing to do. If the person who posted that feedback see this message I'll sure appreciate if they'll take the picture off, I understand it was with very good intentions but the feedback will be so much better without that pic :-) HOWEVER - no real damage was done, almost none of the stealth is visible or disclosed in it. If I ever feel any detail was compromised I easily change it. stay happy and relaxed my biggaz. cheers!

So I suck at Among Us when I've vaped (too slow to react and too sus in general; I'm the stoner standing over a dead body in a daze thinking "that chunk of meat looks tasty"), and I don't like high-adrenaline anything when I'm tryna be mellow, so I've recently started playing laidback games like Ooblets or Minecraft or whatever. Interested to hear what everyone else plays when high/ stoned/ tryna chill
I've played a lot of "Civ 5", kinda nice to play solo against the AI as there's no pressure with how long you take your time and depending on difficulty setting it can be a challenge still.
I also play "Rust" but I've been playing on a RP server for the last few years so it's a lot more relaxing than vanilla servers.

You have made me cry laughing at this. I attempted to play Division 2 and I lost all ability to defend my comrades and got a lot of people killed. I am now no longer invited to missions. I find Zelda games and Mario Kart more my speed when I’m stoned. Mario kart is pretty hilarious when your off your tits. I wish you could get the Dizzy games you used to get on the Commador 64 back in the 80s. Does anyone remember those?

Haha I never had a Commodor 64 but my big bro had a Gameboy and I recently found a gameplay video of a really old obscure Gameboy game I used to love and omg the nostalgia hearing those sounds for the first time since I was a small kid!!! I just sat there watching the gameplay video for hours.
@tigrrboxer you have made my week with this thread. I love a bit of nostalgia. Watching old gameplay does fill you with happiness. I still have an original Gameboy from, I think, 1989. I only had Tetris and Kirby's (whatever dream world he was prancing about in). It still works. I am a bit of a console junkie to be honest.

For me when I vape I love a good single player game with 100s of side quests like Assasins Creed, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima (just finished that and it is an incredible game). If I smoke a joint I'm usually not as keen on using my brain so I usually just smash on GTA or Saints Row and just go around shooting and killing NPC's.
Feel old, mid 50s, hate computer games, don’t have console or pc, like cards,cribbage, dominoes (west Indian style) risk, chequers, etc. But most of all I play music all day. I’m weird I play chess online when bombed, don’t care if I lose.

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but love playing a bit of F1. Driving and a good smoke gets you right in the zone. Can't play it without out it. Ha ha!

Big standard cheese I remember it didn’t even get me that stoned mate first ever smoke and I had never smoked even tobacco before hand. Bad teenage times
White Widow from a mates uncle over 20 years a go, I'd been smoking hash for a couple of months but the widow was my first go at a bit of bud and it was amazing! I was still youngish and that was back when White Widow had that proper stinging stank and would be literally white! amazing stuff, good times.
I remember when I first started smoking I used to get so astonished at how buds looked like and what colours they had. (I still do)
