There is a stark realism that shows he has definitely “been there” but the craziness and quantities involved have to be fiction- I don’t believe anyone could walk away from those levels! (Even Jonny Depp in the film version!)

Classic text - well worth reading in full, not just his description of the mescaline experience.

I had a copy with my extensive handwritten notes comparing some of his description with my first psylocybin experience. But to this day I had never had mescaline.

Talking about mescaline Carlos Castaneda's Don Juan trilogy is worth a look although it is hard to separate fact from fiction.

there is a great movie directed by Ken Russell called Altered States, the original novel was by Paddy Chayefsky.

Philip k dick- many are inspired and involve these themes try Ubik or “the three stigmata of Palmer eldritch” but the best writer of the suggestions you have received so far is Tom Wolfe- the story of Ken Kesey writer and 60s iconoclast- “the electric kool aid acid test”- a classic

the best of all time is the teachings of don Juan by carlos casteneda. It is amazing. and dont care about people saying its not real, its real, its just written in a fictional way to make it seem like legitimate research. its one of the best novels ever written.

“LSD my problem child” is a really good book by Albert Hoffmann the person who was the first to take LSD and discover it. And “How to change your mind” is another good book

and a great series now on Netflix :-)

Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon contains an awesome acid sequence about 100 pages in. The Illuminatus trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson also has many mind bending episodes.

“The Mad Artist” by Roger Keen
Especially the latter as he describes his trip on microdots. Funny and terrifying.

There are so many amazing insights which would help you in your script.

That is a very good point which I made lately about trying to have tow mushroom trips back to back. It doesn't work for the same reasons.

Your post reminded me of - not fiction - but those horrible stories abut project MkUltra.

According to wikipedia Ken Kesey himself first encountered LSD in an MkUltra funded trial.

I remember the book passage where he described a squirrel dropping an acorn sounding blue.

What I meant by horrible stories is those stories of them keeping people on acid for days on end.

Not sure if it's true.

That being said there is a well known and hilarious youtube clip of the Bristish Army undergoing the same kind of military research regimen in 1964 I think.

We used to take solids (hash) in the soles of our shoes when I went to Cyprus, Rhodes and Crete in the late 90s, but I probably wouldn't recommend that now.

Hi, you can decarb kief and buy some activated charcoal capsuels. Dump half of the charcoal and refill with the kief. They look exactly the same and the charcoal ones should stop anything at all smelling it. You do need to open them to work out what is what though!

Smelly weed is always a bit of a worry when they bring out the beagles at the luggage carousel 😰…so I tend to take carts and edibles in my checked luggage. No worries there…have a great honeymoon 😍

Ideal, it is a brilliant vape! I've found more solid concentrate like shatter/sugar/crystals work best with the coil king. (In general less messy, easier to clean than rosin and the like)

I have experimented with the PAX concentrate, it does work with shatter/Rosin/budder etc BUT it doesn't get to high enough temps to get the most out of it. Having said that it can produce super tasty hits. Be warned, the concentrate oven is a bitch to clean & you'll need to keep the Pax upright to avoid it leaking inside the oven/device.

If you're looking to have a dab experience from an electronic device the crossing 2.0 is a beauty. Hands down my favourite way to consume concentrates. Think you can get it for around £100

As poppy already mentioned the coil king aio is a great budget option. My progression on vaping concentrates has gone pax3 -> coil king -> core 2.0... now eyeing up the ace cup already mentioned 😂

Both pictured are erigs, the have a little coil/bowl. They heat up to your desired temp, drop/dab the concentrate and booom 🤯

Ace cup is a bit different as it also fits 510 carts!

With the AceCup you screw-in a 510 cartridge (that’s a standard mouthpiece sticking out) and press down the cup to activate a pump that fills the cup. The cup has a one way valve so you can remove it from the base and hand it around for sipping or if you are in the mood chug the whole thing. Just put it back on to top up. Literally takes seconds.
For concentrates there is a custom screw in atomiser. Just add a tiny (half grain of rice) dab and you are ready to go. Flavours are amazing- I’ve been using Jack Herer Live Resin and it’s a terpy wonder 😋❤️

Yeah, I have an Arizer EQ for balloons 🎈 and they are great fun. The vapour here from carts and concentrates is much thicker and tastier (and stronger!) and ideal for sipping. More of a Gentleman’s Evening with smoking jackets and cravats!😂😍

It seems I actually mean Hash not concentrate. I think I was thrown a curve ball as my pax 3 comes with a "concentrate oven".

An easy way to start with hash in the Pax is just to sandwich a little between your herb. You can make some great flavour/hit combos that really work👍..you’ll need to crank the temperature up some…

Live Resin is arguably the Rolls Royce of carts and if you are going to do it properly then I haven’t found better than SN2D.

The downside is that you are paying for the best, you’ve got international postage costs on top and you are going to have to wait for them.

I made a few yesterday with crumble from CI and 50/50 pg/ vg....they have come out really nice! My understanding is if you decarb the resin low and slow you maybe able to put it in the carts without a cutting agent? Although I have not tried it yet so can't really confirm.

I’m a lazy cunt so that all sounds like hard work but it does sound cost effective

I was actually trying to mimic their carts. I have some from Dr's extracts, but they blow my balls off, so I use them sparingly. I used the Mike Tyson crumble, was trying to make 3 out of it but ended up with 4, it is a bit fiddly. The stone is very relaxing and dealt with aches and pains. I would say it us in the same ball park as their vapes. I know from talking to them they used unflavoured terpens to thin their carts, the pg/vg mix seems to burn more efficiently and you can rake a massive hit! The only real drawback is the crumble was bright white....it looks like I am vaping spunk!
