Packman has never released a lab report, all the reports online are FAKE. Packman is still building up and when the gen 3 devices land I’m sure they want to release all the relevant information then.

I think just like with dry herb vapes- you dial in the temp for comfort. With carts I need a low temp because I like to avoid The Cough. I have friends who just want the big clouds that come with high temps.

So yeah, it’s good to have a range of temps available. I use the Vessel Compass that dials 2.4-2.8 -3.2-3.6. I use it on 2.4 and it rocks for me but remains cool & smooth…it’s beautifully made too:

From my experience of vaping and using carts I have only ever used wattage.

If your battery or mod drops to 5watts then you are going to be fine as that is probably the entry wattage for using carts.

Most of the difference would be aesthetic and battery size or mAh and I imagine a pre heat would be a bonus.

I use a vaporesso gtx one mod. Costs about £25

I have a ccell silo which I use all the time and the voltage for that is 3.6V full charge dropping to 3.2V. The only issue is no pre heat.

The carts like the 50:50 resin ect take a bit to get going sometimes especially in the winter months.

If I was buying a new one knowing what I know now it would be one of the following

I've been using a Paso (link above). Pre-heats, is designed for CBD oils, and has 3 different voltages. The low one is green, medium is blue and high is red. Not a clue if it's right but the blue one seems to give the best results for me with one of Dr Extract's 100% live resin Biscotti carts. I've kept the cart upright and used the preheat on the first vape of the day and I've had no issues at all. It's really strong and a few puffs really gets me high.

Well, in many ways a battery is a battery. I’m sure there are many people using £10 pens that they are perfectly happy with. For me the problem is the lowest temp is too high (like 3.4v) and The Cough is unavoidable.

As with Mighty Rux and their Paso, the Compass was originally designed specifically for CBD and oils which are effective from 2.4v which is a starter temp you don’t often see. Then you can crank it up from there. It has the best airflow of any battery I’ve tried. It fits beautifully in your palm, looks very different to kiddy pens and is super discreet. I expect it to last a long time.

Don’t be put off by lack of a “preheat”. Thicker oils thin out instantly by holding the button in for a few seconds, wait a few seconds, then use as normal.

On the downside hard core box modders would think it very girlie 😂…personally I think it’s metro-sexual!😝

So I was confused by the Amazon listing for the Paso as they seem to have bullshit voltages listed. On the manufacturer's website it says: 2.7v (Green), 3.1v (Blue), 3.6v (Red). So it looks like I'm naturally favouring the 3.1v which is in 2.8-3.2v range I saw someone recommending for a live resin cart, which is reassuring. Can I vape 50:50 and/or 100% distillate cards with these voltages?

As for the temps there really is no right or wrong, just try them all and use what works best for you. It’s why having a broader range is useful imo….

I have done this loads but only with distillate with no terpenes added, it's the terps that make the smoke unpleasant and overbearing as I'm not sure the added flavours should be smoked.
I wouldn't smoke older carts as the distillate will deteriorate over time and be unpleasant to vape or smoke.

Maybe cut your losses or keep preheating. Vaping it's fine, smoking it's probably dangerous, even if clean.

Seen someone use a needle to fish it out then wrap it around the outside of the joint.
