I would argue we are already in a post-humanist world, and have been for some time, with the evolution of media, pointedly the internet, on group mentality, opinion and aligning of thought. All through intense, persistent and unrelenting social pressure, various political propagandas and essentially, marketing.

The coagulation of collective conscious intentions via the internet, dispersing opinion, values and philosophies, dispenses of the opinion forming skills of those exposed to it more and more as generations turn over. This has happened in stages since the introduction of the web and I believe can be prevalently seen in the west. In particular, in political states which lean more towards capitalism, as this effectively 'supercharges' the evolution of these mass influences.

We as humans are physically not really evolving any more, Darwinism isn't exactly hitting the spot for us, take a walk through any small town centre and I'm sure you'll find it hard to disagree (We do still hold the record as the best long distance land animal though if I'm not mistaken). We do however evolve behaviourally at an astronomical scale when compared to other species.

Whether the invocation of an effective 'hive mind' on our selves causes us to enter a state of 'post' humanism is open to debate of course, but i think on the Richter scale of change it scores rather high.

A great book on the subject is Eat The Rich by the US satirist (and huge drug consumer) P.J. O'Rourke. I think his and my politics are probably polar opposites, but you could get fucked up at a party with him and have an amazing time. Anyway, good book. Breaks down all sorts of different political stances, and Good Communism is one chapter, and Bad Communism another. He's a funny guy, but maybe don't consider it as in depth reasoned academic analysis.

I propose a link between maximum and minimum pay within an organisation. Let's say; no pay ( overall package including bonuses, perks and dividends) higher than 5x the lowest full time salary.

You should look into some unbiased reporting on the soviet Union, and some witness statements from the older generation who lived through it.

You will find that many of them tell you life was better in the USSR, than in post USSR Eastern Europe and Russia. Besides that they were several decades ahead of the west on womens rights and social services.

But like anything good, the Americans bring it down from the inside, or out, USSR, Great Britain, either way. Their media controls the narritive, and communism effects their ability to steal all the money. There is a reason Cinema is oversaturated with anti Communist rhetoric.

there are community outreach programs and obviously government funded systems like food banks to help, but the crisis only really exists because the capitalist system is designed that way. we have the resources to end world hunger but it's not economically beneficial so it will never happen

I would say, that "starving" inarguably applies to way less than 1 in 5 children in the UK, US or anywhere in the West which makes your point about the ills of capitalism fairly moot in context.
I am no fan of cronyism, and I don't think capitalism is utopia, but it's insane to try and persuade anybody that communism would do better than this.

My grandad was a carpenter and paid his subs to his union for years until he acknowledged the financial and ideological corruption that it was based on.

The metrics for wealth are skewed in favour of consumerism. The UK has a lot of wealth generation tied up in housing instead of things like having a 401k. This leads to a large chunk of the population not wanting cheaper houses as it will negatively affect things like their retirement.

So people can afford things like TV's etc. but cannot afford housing and electricity in winter. People are told they are richer compared to the previous generation, but the quality of life can be much lower if they have kids. If you really want to know what it is like for the 'rich people' go to MumsNet where people can afford multiple children going to St Paul's where each of their kids costs 10,000 a term, and they speak about it like pocket change.

All wealth is generated from conversion, we like to use the term creation as that doesn't have the negative connotations that conversion has. In a conversion, there was something, and now there is something else. What was there is likely no longer there forever with the shit rolling down hill to people we are never aware of. Coltan and Sony's 'Playstation war' is a good example of the bollocks we help create.

Poor countries have lots of kids as it increases the chances of future wealth. For example, help for free in a family business. Happiness is something that maybe a later generation is allowed.
