Suppliers these days are all crooks.... firstly they get bulk of weed then put it in a tumbler and shake it to take the crystals off the bud so they can make there pillen and dope then the weed gets sprayed with terps to give the buds a flavour again. This is why the dope is dearer than the weed... absolute scams going on here. People need to wake up and start refusing this poison on here these days. There is a handful of sellers that are legit but 95% on here is selling fake thc grass... all its doing is making people sick

Recently started getting into edibles after 10+ years of almost exclusively smoking flower. But there are what feels like hundreds of options on here! So just after some recommendations of peopleโs favourite edibles they have tried on here so I can narrow my options down.

You could purchase some Delta 9 thc oil and make your own edibles. That's what I do ๐โ๏ธ
The D9 oil is pretty cheap, just put D9 into the keyword search.๐ I normally melt 3 bars of chocolate down and put 1ml in the melted choc then fire it in 3 silicone molds off amazon for 5er lol does the damage and sometimes make 2 bars with 1 to 2ml ๐

Iโve tried loads of hash/flower now and the effects of the sunset sherbet just work and give the effect I feel weed is supposed to give.. bubbles so well and you just feel great from this strain, no random unsettling moments just full blown relaxed.

Sorry guys I'm not convinced, traditional nepalise hash is neither bubble hash nor soft...not when it's cold anyway. In addition they don't come wrapped in cling film twisted at the edges like that. Pure marketing my friends...just like another seller selling 'afghan black' at the moment which is neither afghan nor black lol.
Yep, I buy almost exclusively from Hashishin and have done since 2019 and have tried just about most of his hashes which are on a different level to much of the hash currently being marketed as โAfghanโ โLebaneseโ or โMoroccanโ on here.
He also had varieties like Egyptian which is pretty rare to come across in the U.K. all artisanal and unique. What Iโm seeing on here from quite a few vendors doesnโt look anything like the authentic land race strains Iโve had.

Hi mate, thanks for sharing. Good is different for diff people.....I don't seek strong ....I seek flavour and smooth, not agressive high...which I usually only get from old world landrace strains...not the Frankenstein buds strains everyone is growing in the west

We are absolutely on the same page there buddy, these newer strains are a very 'sharp' buzz for me and as you say, not nearly as well rounded or satisfying. It's the CBD and these other newly discovered cannaboids that are missing in my opinion. I have found the oily black Moroccan that hashishin sometimes has is the best for me. Or if I'm in India then good charas for sure. Most of the Moroccan stuff on here with the cartoon stamps is all made from the newer stuff...smells and acts 'skunky'.. no good for me. There are exceptions here tho, The king hassan stuff is land race and one or two others..but the yellow pollens are still not as full bodied buzz as I get from the thick black oily hash
Thumbs up all the way. In my opinion drying and curing hash can be more complicated than flower. Keeping the oils and avoiding mould is a balancing in the first few weeks. Can spot it a mile away now.

Thanks for teaching me about Frenchie canoli...I was not familiar before and now I have a lot of hash porn to look at online lol. I'm not a grower so don't have much experience on the making side. Regarding the room temp comment, I'm refering to UK room temp of course...but a fresh morning in the mountains in India and even the finest first rub, oily hash will be hard until warmednin the hand. The mould story I can add some anecdotes...never ever a problem with Moroccan..or not the traditional stuff anyway..no matter how i store it...do doubt down to the dry sift technique...but iterestingly I got a selection sample pack from a seller here strainsburys with a bunch of stamps like m&m, bitcoin, London poundcake, medical and they ALL went mouldy after a couple of weeks. Makes me think they are all isolator/bubble hash, which as you say is tricky to keep the mould at bay. It's the same problem with charas...because if the moisture content. Me and a bunch of friends always used to have a mission at the end of each season on the beach in South India... how to store our stashes of fine charas until next season (over the monsoon) also that it won't go mouldy. Firstly wrapping it absolutely air tight in cling film (but not Indian that puts a chemical taste into the hash)..sonwebused to bring our own. The mamas up in the Himalaya are really experts at wrapping the hash so that there is no air at all...I've seen it a lot. Anyway, next we would get stainless steel circular containers with a lid, fill them with rice flakes (not rice as I found out one season some vole mites that were microscopic eggs in the grain grew up and made a big mush to suprize me when i came back to open it 6 months later. So rice flakes (it's a processed rice Indian breakfast thing) to absorb moisture, hash inside, then lid on then seal around the edges with epoxy to create a mega seal and keep all moisture out. We would smash it open with a hammer on our return each new winter :)

After a recent hospital trip I realised I had to give smoking cigs and spliffs having a stroke will do that for you. But the thought of never smoking weed again was just too much. I donโt drink alcohol anymore so without weed I would go nuts. So doc said vaping nicotine is better than smoking so if I can vape weed but where can I get it from. I tried the dispensroo thing and got vapes they where great but bless them they are struggling so whilst indulging in misery loves company on the dispensroo Reddit and a guardian angel sends me a private chat and a link 2 orders made and on the way๐. itโs seems itโs always been this way every time I think I am screwed the weed god bestows a new pathโฆ name a time when you thought it may be your last toke and the weed god came through for you?

Having read somewhere that suggested vaped weed might retain 20% of its THC I've been keeping all of mine in a jar. It's brown and smells of popcorn! Can I really use it in an edible? If so recipe suggestions would be welcome, including dosage if poss. Cheers!

Save a ton, wash it then make canna coconut oil and use that to make edibles. Highest I've ever been.
I make butter from mine, I follow the below but tend to add a bit more avb just to be sure. I then freeze the butter for a rainy day and use in cookies or just a spoonful in a coffee. Have a few family members that need to medicate and are on a low budget so always give them a batch when I see them.
I use a dynavap and do toast my bud but there is still plenty of use left in it to make a potent butter

Haha, good point mate. Only going on what I read, could be total bollocks! My vape is a budget model, a Nebula Fuzion. Would love something better but times are hard. Don't have the money.
No, no green, pretty brown and crispy. Did have doubts there was any good left in it to be honest.
I think there would be some cannabinoids left but I doubt 20%. Some people do cook with it but I used to save it for if I ran out of bud and need something;)
Water cure it for a week or so to remove the taste. Then, infuse in coconut oil in a kilner jar heated in a slow cooker water bath (4+ hours)... Use a cheesecloth to strain and use in food. It works... I use about 28g+ for a batch of cookies (28 or so)... Enjoy.
I get the thinking behind consuming AVB but not the rationale behind it. If someone is taking only one or two draws on a vape, for example, it is because they don't want to get too high, for whatever reason. If it's a tolerance thing then why would they want to save some for an edible hit and a potentially stronger effect? (Ok the AVB edible will more than likely be weak, I suppose?)
If it's not tolerance then surely it is just a waste? (I'm not in the mood to get pissed, so I will open this high strength lager and take a couple of mouthfuls and pour the rest in jar to drink later... who does that? Just drink a light ale.)

That's fair enough Gunga Din. I agree with you that vaping also gives me a racy, almost anxious, heart rate increase of a high which isn't for everyone but I like to ride the wave, if you like, and tell myself I will calm down and ease off into a mellow high. Which does happen... eventually!!

Put them in some gelcaps and swallow! It is already decarbed by your vape so will be active when eaten. Never indulged myself but then told it hits like a freight train, would be interesting to know the science behind it. I imagine cannabanoid ratios are different

I usually chuck in anywhere from 8g - 18g of avb. Should be enough to keep you conversing sublingually with the spirits on the other side
Also if you have vegetable glycerin then you can infuse that with the AVB or any decarbed bud or hash and make a potent syrup for which extra decarbed bud or hash can be added or substituted if you need the syrup to be stronger ๐ this can be added to drinks or drank straight and is very discreet and could be taken places and consumed stealthily eg that a movie or circus or a day out ๐ฅท
Once Iโve collected some AVB in a jar after vaping for a while then I usually make cannaoil out of 75% of it by infusing cooking oil with the AVB and use an Ardent FX/ Flex for infusing and decarbing. then I get some empty 00 capsules off Amazon they are very cheap and then I fill them with some of the other 25% of the AVB saved from earlier and then fill the rest with the canna oil and they are very discreet and you can dose them depending on the event and requirements ๐ or you can use the canna oil for baking brownies and can always add a bit of other decarbed bud/ hash for extra strength edibles ๐

Hi,
Curious who else has been enjoying latest harvest with a dry herb vape like a mighty. Found I'm not getting as long out of each cap as previous harvests and wondering if it's an issue with my vape or just the varieties that were cultivated this time round?
I'm no expert but presume different strains have varying longevity when it comes to vaping them? Getting maybe 5 minutes out of a cap starting at 180 and finishing at 210, only increasing temp when I get no more vapor.
Either way still loving the latest offerings from the grove and looking forward to the next season seeing the ladies strutting their stuff!

It's varies hugely depending on the grow and strain, also different terpenes 'burn' at different temperatures. Sometimes I get consistent clouds on all 3 temperatures that I vape at, sometimes I only get vapour on my first heat setting using the same vape, just different flower. Then there's times I get almost nothing on the higher temps.
Generally, I've found the higher quality the flower the more it will produce due to the increased terpenes and THC.
I heard once that not all terpenes produce vapour either, so you could be still getting a hit without any visual confirmation from clouds, but I'm not sure how true that is though ๐คทโโ๏ธ
