End of nations: Is there an alternative to countries?
Singapore gets so much recognition but it's tiny, smaller than most cities you've head of.
I was disappointed by the article, there seems to be no awareness of distributed systems of governance like bitcoin.
Modern nations are basically about providing a trustworthy authority to govern commerce. Some countries like Singapore are especially good at this while others are left to shake downs like protectionism and arms manufacture under the constant threat of war.
Decentralised systems with no-trust elements (like bitcoin) or a reputation systems (like the one here) are the most logical apparent alternative to existing government.

I don't understand the premise of a nation, when they say a nation competes what does that mean? Is there some kind of contest like the olympics? Who are the contestants representing each country? Who are the judges etc, it's all bullshit trying to describe after the fact people just going about their own lives. Who wakes up in the morning saying I'm representing say Chile today, and I'm going to beat those fuckers in Lithuania?

What are your thoughts on this?
I've seen the supposedly "huge" crack down on the imports from Thailand, Iraq, etc. Do you think sites like LB will start to dwindle in the face of this? Or do you think this will only push it into a more popular space? Do you think it'll only affect those that are buying in large quantities?
I know they're talking about going after in-house growers next but I don't see that happening for many years (However hypocritical it is considering we have a huge legal production of cannabis for export).

I know they're talking about going after in-house growers next but I don't see that happening for many years (However hypocritical it is considering we have a huge legal production of cannabis for export).
Its possible they do something but I dont see it worth the time or money when reality is we have legal weed in the uk on private medical prescription so it is only a matter of time before full legalisation and no politician is going to go against weed with modern attitudes so positive about it. It's be political disaster. 35% of adults in the UK supposedly use it recreationally or medically so it'd be disaster for government and the police. As for regulating royal mail its a private company now so its much more complicated than it used to be. I reckon it would simply cause more outrage, cost and problems than just leaving us to it.

To be honest im not sure how much will there actually is to dump money onto the war on drugs.
Its certainly not an election winning move in the current polictical climate, nore will it offer much return on investment.
Id imagine as usual if anything theyd do an "operation" draw alot of attention to it with ideall a few high profile busts" then move onto a different part of the black market again.
They know alot of people smoke weed, personally i believe these days its more about ensuring theres enough pressure on people that they less inclined to pickup the habit / people continue in general to be discreet.

Due to recent and previous attacks on vendors and customers, some including accusations of child molestation and terrorism i propose all new accounts be giving a probation period of at-least one week where they cannot up or down vote and or comment however they can still buy from vendors and review.

We had to stop accepting new users as we had some negative feedback coming from them. Now the new review system has been implemented, we now accept any user, anonymous or new :)

I suppose it's the aspect of forcing acceptance, but then people can still do the same thing with new accounts, the score of the vendor goes down, then they have to get it resolved? Whereas allowing people to restrict prevented that admin ballache? The change in the review system and the visibility of stats is a massive positive change, but it's reliant on people doing due diligence, and there're unfortunately many who don't do that and rely on a headline number and move on without investigating. I've always found cleanup borg to be very efficient too, so apologies for my blanket statement.

Fair enough. That's not my experience as a buyer so that's interesting. I do find cleanup borg to be most efficient though, out of all the collective that I've had dealings with.

You can’t make great art without breaking a few sensibilities, frankly, and I’m glad they are back in the game.
Watch the doc and make up your own mind about them. One of the most original punk rock acts in the last 15 years. That’s pretty hard to deny. Even if you are an Xtard, social media sheep, who just gets worked up over any old bullshit they read.
They comport themselves with real dignity and honesty in this documentary and I’m looking forward to their London show.

Recently watched this after being recommended it by a mate. I knew of them, but not a lot. Great documentary. Lots of 😯 moments for me not knowing that much about them and their personal lives. Lovely people, even if a bit crazy at times. Compared to me anyway ha
love em but wish they had a better producer every now and then. vocals and lyrics are awesome but beats get annoying on the 10th go
From a mix standpoint the beats are amazing as they acheive loudness without sacrificing on dynamics.

As title says, last night I paid for an order, transaxe said paid and btc left my wallet. Found the same browser screen today that also said paid, refreshed and now says unpaid. Anyone else experienced this or know the solution
use the search at the top of this, you can enter the hash or btc address. this is canon for transaxe so if it shows paid just message them.
Yeah it’s saying confirmed but the address has changed from last nights one to the one I’m seeing today. Is this normal ?

Your opinions on what may be wrong with this weed are required. I recently purchased an amount of bud, and on opening a nice gas smell hit me straight off. Nice bud, not rock hard but not super spongy. Grinds perfectly but when smoking there’s a horrendous feeling on the throat on inhaling and on the exhale. What would be causing this sensation and any way to get it sorted out properly or is this another example of the dodgy vendors to avoid like they’ve got the plague lol
Your opinions on what may be wrong with this weed are required. I recently purchased an amount of bud, and on opening a nice gas smell hit me straight off. Nice bud, not rock hard but not super spongy. Grinds perfectly but when smoking there’s a horrendous feeling on the throat on inhaling and on the exhale. What would be causing this sensation and any way to get it sorted out properly or is this another example of the dodgy vendors to avoid like they’ve got the plague lol

What is the ash like when you burn it? Would be handy if you could let us know the strain/vendor as others might have had similar experiences. Like ike said, be sure to contact the vendor.
Thanks for your input folks, I know to contact the vendor in the odd time this sort of situation happens. I was just asking what would cause this and if there was anything that could be done to buds that were causing this weird symptoms . I only made this post as this was second time in a row with two different vendors. The first time I pick 6 different strains and 5 were decent, contacted vendor and was sorted immediately. As for the colour of the ash, I mix with baccy. It’s a grey/white with no blackness in through it. And if test Borg sends me an address I will happily send you some.

Hi. I'm looking for advice.
I'm visiting The Hague next weekend (30/9) with some friends. I've searched for details on normal web pages and it appears that the coffee shops there are quite small, and you can get in trouble for smoking in public (I'd never intend to be a nuisance, and was thinking I could use a quiet corner of a park, like I did in Amsterdam a few years back). Has anyone visited recently who knows how strict the laws are? Can anyone recommend anywhere to go for a spliff between coffee shop visits? I'd be really grateful for any advice.
Of course, I'd also welcome tips on good coffee shops (Are there any good shops to sit and smoke comfortably? Can you still have a spliff and a pint in Cremers? Is there anywhere else like that?), or on anything else that's good to do while visiting, other than the obvious museums? As while I'm definitely going to have a few spliffs, that's not all I want to do!

I already know I’m about an hour and a half walk away from the beach so won’t really be an easy option for me.

Hey buddy, the beach front is splendid, good spot for chilling and spliffing on the beach (if weather allows). There are at least 2 coffee shops next to the beach front walk. It’s like buying ice cream on a beach day kinda :)
The center and old town are all right, but it’s the beach front imo that makes the town special.
