Just paid 17 quid on fees for a 60 quid order. Will fix itself with time but it’s shambolic that transaxe haven’t incorporated any alternative coins.

This seems to have calmed down now, fees are a lot more reasonable.

Does this impact the processing time? I've used Exodus for the first time and reduced the fees down and now it's stuck in pending for the last 2 days.

My Exodus transfers are normally good to go in less than 30 minutes. Some have even been less than 10 mins. Is it pending on Exodus or LB?

Pending on Exodus and LB. I reduced the fee right down but it said 30-60mins transfer time. I've PM'd transaxe but waiting to hear back, the payment is being shown as being received at LB end but stuck as waiting to be confirmed. Always used coinbase without issue before but not paying a fortune in fees for an 1/8th

I believe if you reduce the fee, it slows things down. Coinbase closed my account for shits and giggles so I don't use them any more, Exodus seems so much better (at the moment)

Zengo wants a tenner to send 60, but revolut wants 17 to send 60 to 70 to Zengo. My bank didn't like Exodus or Binance or Coinbase, hence why I'm using revolut

Ok, I buy from Kraken using googlepay then transfer to exodus, works well for me.

What are your fees sending from Kraken to Exodus?

I’ve had that this week too. Sent my payment for order as usual and found out I had only part paid. Checked my payment and I only send £20 and paid £40 in network fees without realising. Now it’s wanting to charge me £25 to send £5 and that includes converting it to $$$. Now I’m stuck.

Oh I am sorry. I got stung at Revolut 34 quid on a sixty purchase to send the btc to my wallet, now I'm the same. It wants 35 to send to my vendor. God I hate using crypto. Irritates me every time to pay these random fees to someone so I can spend my money

I buy on Revolut and send to Zengo then pay from there. The Revolut fees were nuts alone, so now my moneys sat in the wallet but can't send it anywhere as it will cost me so much to do so

Best thing to do is invest in a ledger nano-S I think .. the Bluetooth one.. you can send from there for dirt cheap instead of zengo

no its not dirt cheap we also get hit by the congestion $40 fee for a $70 order $45 fee for $240 order both are stupidly high but ive not checked thismorning best i go take a look

still same as lastnight $35 so iim still boycotting atm

and we also get stung sending the btc from the exchange to ledger but binance does pay back the fee

Yeah this is insane cant place any orders because exchanges are charging £15 - £20 on a £36 order !

I use Santander and coinbase, fees have been a little high a few quid rather than about a quid but nothing to bad

I was using Coinbase but even they have been £15 -20 instead of standard, its not the purchase fee its the network fee for sending to wallets

Aw I get you, I don’t bother with sending to a wallet been doing it over 3 years and no problems but understand you do it for extra security. Good luck finding a way round things ✌️

Haha I don't think I explained well. I send straight from coinbase. The standard £1.99 fee for buying btc has stayed the same, the network fees are imposed when sending the BTC(to pay the vendor) To the vendors wallet address.I don't think the extra security really matters(if you have bought using bank account and provided ID you are not anonymous?) I have looked at a few other exchanges even tried Binance but they were even worse nearly £30 for a £78 order O.o worse yet there is no way to see how much it is gonna cost until you have bought the BTC and go to send!

Haha.. aw no way that's so shit I only payed a few quid on a $70 order at the start of the week I must of got lucky with the time and maybe the bank you use makes a difference it's all pretty confusing what's going on at no 🤔 have you tried ordering late at night or the early hours of the morning?

Hey I just downloaded the coinbase one wich is coinbase sister in my mind lol but it saves you some fees and you do pay 20 a month for this coinbase one but you save fees added on. Not much but it helps or even some people use these revolut accounts wich I'm tempted to look into. I'm trying difrent things out testing few ways myself but I see there alot of biggy that are very unhappy with the fees. I don't understand why I'm not feeling the bad fees. I don't think it's that bad and I don't earn lot of money myself butt it doesn't seem that bad to me. Maybe difrent for everyone considering what they use for exchange etc. Bless mate anyway hope you find one that works for cheaper

Can you buy using coinbase one ? Any chance for a link ? I would happily pay £20 a month rather than per order as I order quite a lot and for 2 other people as well. Might be that this is they way forward. I probably put 20 orders in over the course of a month anyway!

Yeah if u down load the coinbase one. Even if you make a payment just on your normal coinbase it will detect the sister and will automacily take some fees off. I did earlier to test it and took some off. Just coinbase one online. Straight to it also a month free trial

Been asking for over a year now for a different payment option using another chain this was inevitable lol. Anyone thinking this is going to go back to <$1 for a transaction misunderstands why the fees have gone up.

It's demand. Prices have dropped so dealing has increased, there has been a bit of a run on the market leading to higher charges to trade. It has started to calm down now, this dies happen periodically
