Going to an event at a club this weekend, one of those 10pm - 4am seshes.
I'm debating bringing my cart with me, but am unsure how likely the security will catch on if they get me to empty my pockets at the door.
I'm currently using a YoCan Kodo Pro battery which has the cart sitting on top, which is sure to stick out amongst all the disposables being brought in.
Thoughts? Advice? Tales from personal experience? I'm all ears.

So, who's heard of Kent? If you have then you're very into indie rock and realised that it didn't die in the early '00s, it just moved to Scandinavia, or, you're Scandinavian. They released 2 albums in both English and in Swedish out of the 10 or so in their catalogue. The talent to carry that off is beyond my comprehension. They filled stadiums and arenas, were of the highest quality of musicianship of anyone practicing their craft, and hardly anyone knows who they are.

If looking for reliable sites, please use the r/piracy megathread on reddit. Many popular piracy sites have 100s of fakes going around that have malicious intentions, so it's important to ensure you're using the actual real one.
I also highly encourage the use of an ad blocker and VPN, just to keep your data collection to a minimum. These sites are already doing something illegal, so lord knows where the data they collect on you is going.

Top advice, thanks! It was one of the reasons I loved Filmous- because it wasn’t free! They made their money so there was no spam and no scam and you could frequently top your account up on special deals. Generally I paid about 50p- £1 for a latest movie which you downloaded and could keep or share with others. I always said to those who thought I was mad to pay anything “..if I don’t want to pay a quid I probably don’t really want to see it that much in the first place!” 😝
Since my US based mate gave me access to his Plex server years ago I haven't paid for a single movie or series. Known him for over 20 years, we've never met, and I just message him if I want to watch something and within a short while (sometimes minutes) he's sorted it out. He constantly mocks me for asking him to get Dolby True HD / Atmos soundtrack stuff, and it's invariably a print with DTS HD MA instead. If I didn't have a Sonos Arc setup I wouldn't be so precious about it.
He had financial issues about 6 years ago and he posted publicly to ask if people that he'd given access to his server (numerous friends and close family) wouldn't mind chipping in to help with the running costs or he may not be able to keep it up. This was clearly something that he found incredibly hard to do, so I messaged him privately and asked him what he needed to keep it up and not worry about it. He said probably about $500 or so. I knew his PayPal so I just sent it to him. He was stunned, and took down his public post. Told me he was crying as he appreciated it so much. I told him he was a great friend and it was worth it, and I appreciated what he did for me. Haven't paid a penny since, and he's had 2 much better jobs since then. Recently had remote server issues (and Google Drive storage limit issues) so he's given me access to his personal home server. Told him I'm happy to chip in in future for expanded storage for all the 4K Dolby 7.1 he can keep getting me. Saved me a fortune over the years on streaming services alone.

You probably used Plex's server settings to do that. It's just a server he has at home (used to be a remote one with some Google Drive association, before they noticed people were doing shit like this and capped the storage) that's Plex is directed to, so he just shared the server info with me and I added that to my account. Now Plex just looks at that server instead of the previous one, and the experience and interface is exactly the same. It's something you could set up with a NAS and loads of drives to store and stream all of your media.
It is, isn't it? Really clean interface and nice to use. It's almost as neat as me just arriving in France with 2 chocolate bars and a cart from Poundland. 🥳

What pissed me off about it was all of the time we'd invested with all of the mysteries of the island, the numbers, the smoke monster, the time travel, etc, etc. Watched all of the series again before a new series aired so we couldn't miss anything with the complex interwoven plot lines. Then it was what the internet predicted after the pilot episode all along, and almost everything was meaningless. In fact, typing this has made me a little angry just thinking about it again. Christian fucking Shepherd!! Such wasted opportunity.

More recently I prefer live resin carts and would recommend anything from sensimart. As a treat I've ordered a live resin cart from sayno2drugs to see if it's worth the extra cash.
In short I've never had a bad cart from LB, I've stuck with vendors with lots of reviews.

It’s just the ‘premium’ carts were always considered to be live resins on here so I’ve never really given a distillate cart much thought, I had one from another vendor a while back and it taste like plastic with a sharp head buzz, almost unlike weed. Just the buzz around this unicorn piss tells me it’s different lol
As you go “up” the scale from disty to rosin via live resin and 50:50, the extraction methods get purer and less industrial which is where the perception of higher quality comes from. Regardless of methods, not all juice is created equal and some distillates can be serious contenders for best experience.
The suprise for me around Unicorn 🦄 Piss is that unlike most distillates the effects do not wear off quickly but last for hours. This is very much an end of the night strain, it sends me to bed with a big smile that’s still there in the morning.

Green Avenger Weed has some distillate carts too however my experience with them isn't great (the cart, not seller). I didn't feel any high and the liquid was very very fluid.
DoctorExtracts has some very good carts too and I'm sure there has been a price reduction. Just released a sauce cart which I'm looking forward to trying soon.
There’s no official definition for a ‘sauce’ cart, but from my understanding is a 100% live resin cart with a high quality extraction process annd without any additional terpenes and additives. The extraction process retains all cannabinoids, so you get an experience that really represents the strain.
I can vouch for the white runtz sauce cart from DRE. Slightly weird flavour but a lovely, stronger than average effect on a daily vaper.

Leafly reckons it’s a hybrid, tends more towards relaxing than energising. I tend to pick it up towards the end of the night after using a more energetic cart for the late afternoon and evening. The more energetic ones I’ve found here are Taquila Sunrise and cheetah piss from Sensi, both have nice flavour and an energetic high. Mimosa from Canadian Imports is also good. It’s not an upper but unicorn piss from CI is also delicious and a strong relaxing effect. Eddy has a price drop on carts, too, but I’ve not tried them yet. Tempted as he’s known for quality.

I think everyone’s been mentioned… i prefer LR carts personally so doctor extracts and sensi mart are go to for them… Also saw diamond extracts had 100% shatter carts recently that might come back on the menu too!😊

Yup sensi is the best IMO but the price per ml the way I smoke them is just unsustainable. Dr E is a strong second.

Hi all Not long had a 100% live resin cart land from Sensi Mart.. Caramel apple Gelato.. normally have 50/50 carts from Sensi. So first time trying a full 100% Resin. Had 3 or 4 puffs at 2.4 volts with my Honey bee 2.0 battery. After a 30 second pre heat.Seemed to do the Trick.. it hit me Could still feel it next morning 🤔🧐Lot Harder than the 50/50 mix. 😜. . Anyone elses thoughts on the 100% Resin Carts from sensi.great carts 👍😉
If they were ‘unsmokeable’ and the vendor refused to engage with you, then yes. If the dispute window has closed you can still enter a ‘Late Dispute’. Let me know if you need help on how to do that…

I had a 10/10 Boys from Poundland and it was good but I didn’t enjoy the Delta 10 as much as D9 and would go for something with live extracts.

Considering buying a cart but reading online suggests any cart bought in the UK I’d spice.
I don’t think any of the big vendors with a large customer base would intentionally lace stuff but is there any that have tested stuff ?

Many have previously and posted to topics. Batch wise, you cannot be sure really they are using the same thing they have tested in an unregulated situation.
Unbranded carts that are admittedly made by vendors seems to be the common sense option.
Sensi Marts range are fantastic and universally liked on this platform. His product is probably the safest at a good price.

I'll second the Sensi Mart recommendation, they are outstanding, completely changed my opinion on vape carts. Live resin is what really makes the difference for me, hard to go back to D9 only once you've tried it.
Exactly this. The testing process at first seemed great, but it’s far too easy to manipulate due to it not being a random sample. It’s like you having to send in your piss sample by mail for work to drug test you, we’d all be 100% clean 😂😂

It’s a leap of faith, but I’m not sure the issue is really about Spice. The 10/10 Boys vapes sold literally hundreds on here via multiple vendors, are still being sold and generally get great reviews from Biggas AND they are expensive. This is despite them being made from a chemically synthesised hemp workaround of D8 & D10 which isn’t even THC and is now being banned by the FDA.
The weight of the problem seems to be with branded vapes because fake packs and empty carts are available at low cost with huge upside.
Our long termers like Sensi, Dr.Extracts etc are not playing that game. I just got a Unicorn Piss🦄 from Canadian Imports 💥- I mean yum!😜

Update: Had the battery for just over 3 weeks now, works brilliantly. Super small and fits nicely in your pocket. Love the puff counter and timer too. Been using a 1ml Blue Dream cart from TGVC and it does wonders, couldn't recommend it enough.

I threw my Yokan straight in the bin. Hated it. Nasty cheap plastic which I could have got over but there was only so many times I accept the ‘No Atomiser’ warning when the cart was in there! The adjustable cart grip thing is pointless and the magnetic base doesn’t help the (mis) connection. 😖
Interesting, functionality is the most important thing and both the others are nice looking so if the Yokan is out maybe id lean towards the Tombstone for the abilty to carry 2 carts
The Tombstone is a very straightforward device but the dual cart option is very cool- I use it with a CBD cart alongside a live resin for the full spectrum deal.
But I like low voltage so the cart doesn’t degrade too quickly through the heating cycles. You can’t adjust the voltage on a Tombstone so I use a Compass Vessel that dials as low as 2.4v. There are quite a lot of choices in the Compass range but unfortunately none of them are cheap…

I only vape. Caviar in the AceCup is amazing, but I also roll it in a little weed sandwich and put in a Mighty dosing capsule or Vapman pie tray. Yum!😋
The Green Team have Blue Dream hash at the moment. I got a sample gram last week and it’s really nice, great sativa high that could be what you’re looking for.

The gents have blue cheese but thats more indica dominent than sativa... Urbanleafco also have blue cheese but only selling henrys.
It was $130 for 7g. Same price as their other top shelf stuff like the Oreoz, Biscotti Pie, and whatever the fuck else I gorged on from that range. Delightful smoke. One of the highlights. Got me right off my tits.

I have a grinder - one of those shitty plastic affairs that gets the job done... eventually. Usually, I just break up by hand though (I don't smoke a lot).
When I went down the stairs in my apartment block today, someone left a grinder on the bannister. Curious, I picked it up. It was made of metal and had a really nice weight to it. The lid was magnetic and snapped on and off really nicely. It was fancy.
This has me wondering: Are higher end grinders worth it? What are other biggas experiences using them?

I use cheap ones and have a hard time believing expensive ones can be "worth it" but what does that even really mean? If you fancy something special and have the money available then there is no harm in treating yourself to something :)
I used a shitty plastic grinder for years, and it did its job well enough. Then my mate started working for some company that sold paraphernalia and gave me a little 4 piece metal grinder with a kief catching section. That was much, much better and I used it for a good 10 years with no issues. Then I quit smoking for 7 years.
When I started back this year I thought I'd treat myself to a new grinder and saw a huge price reduction on a 4 piece stainless steel Herb Ripper, so bought it on the principle I'll never have to buy another again. Also bought the fine grind plate for it too, and I'm glad I did as that's the perfect grind size. Absolutely loving the thing and it cuts through almost anything as if it was herby butter, but I appreciate that most people will think it's a ridiculous extravagance. It no doubt is, but it's a lovely, lovely thing. An incredibly well machined tool, like a fine chef's knife. I suppose the question of if anything is worth it is entirely subjective, but I don't ever regret buying it.

Yeah, I agree about them being like chef knives. I use a crappy bargain set of knives and they do the job fine. My sister-in-law however, insists that the £140 knife she gets hand-sharpened fundamentally improves the cooking experience. She actually hates using regular knives now.
I'll be ordering one of these at some point Nigara SG2 Kurouchi Tsuchime Santoku 180mm about £242 import from canada (only place outside japan i can find them) depending on how you use it maybe need to sharpen it once or twice a year ... good knives are worth it if thats your thing .
I can get by. Cooking is like chemistry, so you should get repeatable results. Baking, however, follow the recipe exactly, including tin sizes. If people know the basics they should be able to make meals fairly easily without recipes, and, the top level of that skill, be able to knock up something tasty from what's left in the fridge and the cupboard.

usually go to the local asian supermarket or the one in the city near me only thing i've ordered online in Shin ramyun, soon and champong ramen packs (i uses the broth packs as a base for my own ramen) shhhh i cheat. XD

You can get old Le Creuset re-enamelled too. Something for people to consider instead of throwing them away, or if someone's selling a damaged one cheaply. Have about 5 different sized and shaped ones collected over the years and they've jumped in price ludicrously since they were first bought. Staub seems to be the one all the chefs moved on to, as they still bring out the tiny Staub pots sometimes in fancy restaurants. Don't look at the prices.
I think initially 1 paring knife and 1 chef's knife is a better start than a full range of knives that cost the same as those 2 do, and buy at a point that you personally start to feel a bit uncomfortable about the price. That's everyone's cut off point for almost every purchase made, so you then need to check reviews at that price point. And the most important thing is to hold it before you buy, I feel. There's 1 tiny knife in the kitchen drawer that's so perfectly balanced and razor sharp that I use it all the time, and it's no particular special brand. Just feels like the perfect tool for the job on many occasions.

I had no idea you could re enamel Le Creuset pans, as you can see above mine is in a right state. I left it on the hob about 10 years ago with just a little oil in it, and forgot it was on. Kitchen full of smoke and burned the shit out of the bottom of the pan so now it looks dirty even when it's perfectly clean. I'll 100% be getting that re enamel done when I find the place to do it.

What size is that, 24cm? Looks like you'd get a chicken and loads of veg in that together... I'd live with that discolouration if I was you mate, if you can put up with it and it doesn't affect cooking in any way. It's not cheap to re-enamel them. Apparently they're often accomodating if you contact them to tell them you love their products but have a damaged one, and is there anything they could suggest. Often give discounts, so could be better to do that if you can sweet talk them.

The grinder hash. Most works its way off the Herb Ripper too, eventually. I've found that a stainless steel knitting needle is handy for getting the really stubborn bits off, before they're added to a joint. My last tiny grinder was a nightmare that clogged up all the time towards the end and needed the bud to be worked off the blades. I couldn't stand using it for long after the 6 1/2 year break.
That one is on the pricey end, but I have noticed that a lot of weed paraphernalia seems to come with a 'buy cheap, buy twice' policy. Will check out.
I’ve had a Space Case for around a decade and it’s still pretty much as good as new. Cost around £80 but I don’t think I’ll need to buy another.

I stick to the cheap plastic ones. They're fantastic, last a while. When they stop performing, get a new one.

Yes but be careful of what you buy. Like everything weed (even in nations where its illegal) has gone through ruthless commodification i.e they are trying to sell you shit due to the popularity of cannabis.
This means there are plenty of gimmick Grinders and ones that seem appealing but end up as impractical and cheaply made. Watch out for metal grinders with screw threads they can stick &/or wear down the thread so the grinder no longer shuts.
I recommend large wooden grinders with metal teeth and magnetic seals not only will these be easier on the hands, a decent grinder will allow for a finer grind allowing weed to spread more evenly in joints, as well as, conserve excess.
This means there are plenty of gimmick Grinders and ones that seem appealing but end up as impractical and cheaply made. Watch out for metal grinders with screw threads they can stick &/or wear down the thread so the grinder no longer shuts.
I recommend large wooden grinders with metal teeth and magnetic seals not only will these be easier on the hands, a decent grinder will allow for a finer grind allowing weed to spread more evenly in joints, as well as, conserve excess.
I've had a top end, plastic yellow cheap grinder for about 15 years. Brought few others over the years but always gone back to my yellow old lady

What do the numbers with arrows mean at the left sides of chats/posts on here?!
If you go to the tabs at the top of your own page you’ll see one called ‘votes’. Click on this and you’ll see your entire voting history. Everyone can see this and you can see everyone else’s. You receive one vote automatically for every post so you have received 4 votes but you have never made or received any others. If you had you would be able to see who voted for you and whether it was an up or down vote and even the topic that the vote related to.
LB seems to put significant resource around maintaining voting history. It forms part of the algorithms determination of reputation. It’s basically a way of assessing a Biggas contribution to the site/community.For this reason noobs only get 0.2 of a vote until their reputation is established to prevent alt accounts joining for downvoting sprees…(it does happen).

If you like/agree with something that someone has said, you can press the up button, which will bring the number in the middle up. If you don't like/disagree with what someone has said, you can press down down button, which will bring the number in the middle down.
You can essentially use the number in the middle to gauge whether people on LB agree/disagree with a message. This is great when looking for advice, as if a comment has a higher number you can be more confident that it is good advice. Lower numbers are probably bad pieces of information and shouldn't be followed.
Downvotes should only really be used if someone is giving poor advice, spamming, or talking about things completely unrelated to a thread.
Again, essentially functions as a like & dislike button. So if someone cracks a funny joke, you can also upvote that too.

Can anyone tell me any exchange platforms they use that are good for fees. Can’t seem to understand crypt.com’s fees. I thought I’d put well enough in before to cover the fees, nearly a score and it still came up as partially paid I mean wtf come on🤣
I use coinbase and Bitpanda. Bitpanda tends to have lower fees, but for ease of use I tend to go for coinbase. I wouldn’t recommend sending to LB directly from coinbase, safer to transfer to another wallet first.

As for the original post, Coinbase and Kraken are both good options exchange-wise.
Kraken is slightly cheaper on fees and more trustworthy IMO.

Bittylicious charged about £15 in fees for a near £600 BTC purchase last week. Almost always seems to be in the 2-3% region for their fees. Send from there to your own wallet, then send to Transaxe.

This is what I do too. There’s an extra cost when you transfer to and from it, but it’s worth it imo.
I started on paybis sending directly to vendors wallet, you set how much they receive and you’ll be charged the fee on top it won’t be deducted from their amount.
Recently I’ve been using Luno as another Bigga had a referral code for extra btc, the fees seem low and again you choose how much the vendor receives so the fee is charged as additional not a deductible. Only thing is after signing up you have to enable “sends” to transfer the crypto and it takes I think 24 hours to enable.
