Hello! I just wanted to give a quick word on the pending dispute showing on my profile (I am the buyer)
I've had around 35 orders over my 3 years on LB. It's not a ton compared to a lot of people, but it's enough to not need my LB training wheels anymore. My orders tend to be on the smaller side, probably averaging around £40 (though I've had several orders for over £90)
Like most people here, I'm not a complainer. It makes me feel super uncomfortable having to chase an order around, be ignored, then have to speak about it publicly. I know this is a phenomenon as several other users have reached out to me about this exact seller, with them also saying they do not like to make complaints or talk about it publicly
On the 14th May, I placed an order for $80 with JustWeed for the "Super Shake 10/10" item. Because I'm a total idiot, I hadn't noticed JW hadn't been online for 3 days prior to my order. The item is never marked sent, and as the days pass a few others start posting that the same has happened to them. Then Friday comes round, JW appears, and says all orders will be fulfilled come Monday and anyone who faced delays would also recieve a freebie. 100 hours later, it's cancelled, and I get my refund on Sunday
NOW... this is where I was really naive. To be fair to myself, JW has a fantastic reputation not just in the community as a whole but I've also had around 10 orders off them. Sure, they rarely reply but the orders always landed. Cheap, good stuff, and fast. What more could you ask for?
So I place the order again on Sunday evening (18th May). Monday morning, it's marked as sent. Excitedly, I waited in all day tuesday and it never arrived. I say nothing as this sometimes can happen, but it doesn't come on Wednesday either. I update JW via DM, and I get no response. (I said something like "no show, RM up to their usual tricks haha). At no point was I rude, demanding, or being a dick. Thursday is a no-show too, so I ask JW if they can send me tracking. No response.
Then Friday (23rd) comes and I send another DM. They finally get back to me, tell me they'll try to get the tracking, saying "hopefully it'll arrive" and generally all-round being very nice.
So here we are, on the 20-bloody-8th. I still am no clearer on what has happened, whether it actually was posted, or what. You're just left guessing.
And this is putting aside that I ponied up my weed budget twice, lost fees once (and likely twice when this goes nowhere), and have been without weed for 2 weeks now (woe is me I know, but it's about the money, promises, waiting, stress and BS)
So yeah, there's a lot of information here but I'm just laying out what happened to me, and is happening to quite a few others who don't want a target on their back for speaking up publicly (their words)
This is a long way of saying to any future vendors I order from that I'm not some sly c- who's trying to get freebies like some people I've heard of who try to scam vendors. Like 99% of biggas, I just want orders fulfilled to be the best of the vendors' abilities, and if not (because shit happens) at least to be treated with some basic respect. £65 may be peanuts to some people, but I assure you it isn't to me
I will not let this nonsense deter me from using LB, but it really feels like a knife in the back
Finally, as much as I love JW and I'm sure they have an explaination for this, it's absolutely clear that any buyer who gives them money as things stand will be set to get nothing. And I would say as well that based on this pattern of ghosting that it is BUYER BEWARE even if/when they do come back. If it goes wrong, you're up shidt's creek without a ganja :P Seriously though, just avoid and pay the extra $10 to someone who will actually send you the tracking. I promise you as good as their shake is, it's not woth the headache
