Clearer distillate is usually a sign of a higher quality/purity product used in the extraction processes, as far as I’m aware! If there’s terps mixed in that will effect the colour also. Have you tried it?

Thanks for your input, I’ve brought for years from dr terpy always been golden, I thought distillate was always golden. This is almost straight see-through though? Can you see the photo I’ve uploaded this stuff is clear.

Hello, yeah colour varies batch to batch, from one of our suppliers it comes clearer and from the other it comes more golden, we have always stuck to the same 2 suppliers as both their quality has been consistently great for years - as far as im aware colour doesnt really affect quality necessarily it just depends on how its made. Some manufacturers put it through an extra process that makes it clearer, some dont. Some people say clearer is better, some people say the opposite but in our experience the quality from both suppliers is almost identical despite colour differences. It could also be down to how long ago it was produced before it got to us because the colour of distillate does usually darken over time due to heat and light exposure, but again, unless its extremely old or been stored incorrectly, it doesnt really affect quality :)

Mate, the stuff is having little to no effect it’s really thin and bubbles move through it quite easily!

It has 5% CDTs so will be a little thinner than pure distillate but still very thick and bubble still doesnt move in syringe unless in a very warm environment maybe. No effects though? Not sure how that can be its pretty strong stuff, I use our vapes daily.

The high from distillate can be a little 'empty' to more seasoned stoners/medicinal users who are used to the full spectrum of cannabinoids/terpenes in the cannabis plant (distillate is only thc, nothing else), thats why we also do the 50/50 live resin vape range to get closer to the smoking experience - we dont do 50/50 syringes but you could definitely make your own easy enough, lots of info online about DIY carts etc. I think you may prefer that kind of blend for vaping if the distillate isnt for you :)

Can you confirm that you’ve given this Claire Delta 9 to all of your other customers? I feel like it’s just me that received this.

Hi all 👍 so glad to see this topic. I've received a disposable vape pen today from dr distillate. And yes I actually thought it came empty 🤔😳. Its as clear as day. My only hope is, can actually see a small bubble half way up. So presume its what dr distillate has mentioned about this batch been a clear distillate. Finally! I’m convinced it’s weaker, you know. Once you start having a smoke and it warms up the bubbles move through it really fast and small bubbles as well. I’d give it 6 out of 10 compared to the normal golden stuff. Been smoking my whole life no way this is the same standard. I’m not accepting it. Would like to know your thoughts when you’ve had a smoke.

Thank you very much for your comment. The same as me but better worded thank you. Some pre-warning would’ve been nice. My personal opinion I would give it 6 out of 10 compared to the usual golden which would be a 9 out of 10.

Hi buffybull 👍 yes not actually tried it yet. But never have i received Clear distillate. Least its not empty like i thought it was 🤔. Once ive tried it. I'll review as appropriate. Even ordered some full spectrum gummies along with the disposable vape. And all those came the same flavour. I can live with that. But ill definitely be questioning this disposable vape. Ive messaged dr distillate. Waiting for a reply.

If somebody else has received the same product and would like to comment. If nobody else has this colour I’m willing to send it out for testing. I’m vaping it now no effect.

I've ordered D9 here many times and every time it's been great quality. The colour does vary batch to batch. I don't think I've had any quite that light coloured though to be fair, and the batch I currently have which I got this week looks darker. Hopefully you'll get a reply from the Dr.

That’s what I’m unsure about, it would be great if other customers of Dr distiller could chime in and say their distillate has been golden or clear? I’ve just never seen it clear so don’t trust it. I do appreciate he is a reputable vendor. Just some communication would be great that’s why I’ve had to come to the topics.

I've had light coloured D9 just not as light as it looks on your photo. I'm not sure what tests you could do at home to check it.

I’ve put some in a ccell disposable, vaping it now walking the dog little to no effect. I’m willing to send some out for somebody to try. I doubt I’ll hear off the vendor for 24 hours seems he only comes online. Does the orders does the messages that goes back off-line. Not complaining about that. It’s just made it hard work.

I'm not questioning or denying your experience here but it's the polar opposite to mine. I've ordered here a bunch of times, often getting my order within 24 hours and in every case being spot on. Definitely a convo needed to have with the Dr.

Are you ordering in just single units? There has already been a previous incident when I’ve ordered 50 something carts and quite a few of them were half full. Gave the benefit of the doubt went back to a doctor terpy. He only does carts. Then thought more volume let’s try again and then this happens. Twice I’ve waited for next day delivery guaranteed by 1 pm seven day wait. I’m back home now off the dog walk hammered that Vape nothing mate. He sent three mil because of the late delivery. I’m more than happy to send you the two mill to try. Give it some time I would like to hear other customers opinions who have received the similar product for the same not sure why it’s gone from the wall. Thank you for your input legend x

I only order for me. I go through a bit as I'm a total pot head but not in bulk like you. The wall is a funny beast. I work with algorithms but I'm yet to figure out the logic of the lb wall. I often have popular topics disappear only to cycle round later. I'd be happy for someone to explain it to me also.

distillate colour can sometimes change but typically it should be golden or close. live resin/carts made with extracts can vary in colour though.

Yeah my browser was bugging. That is extremely clear.

I have had distillate off of a few vendors on this site & all had the same darker golden colour.


I’d post about this on Reddit if you want others opinions, the wall is random and doesn’t love people suggesting negativity - even if it’s in that specific customers best interest.

agree and don't agree with gentleman's below. deffo most stealthiest way to get high after eddibles, I think it leaves a tiny bit of smell. so it depends on situation how stealthy it is cuz its not producing much vapor compare to e cig so you also stand out. and deffo dosent look like a standart vape tank. ok may b it looks like a vape tank but one's people been using 5 years a go lol nobody uses this types of thanks for vaping regular juice. and you just look different when you vaping regular juice vs thc.

Yeah. Just tried mine for the first time (strawberry cheesecake). Doesn't smell of herb at all. Very very discreet indeed. You'd be hard fetched to even notice it as an e-cig smell. I work from home now, but this would have been the best thing ever during my office work days!

IMO no one smells nothing... prior to all this covid BS I used to vape in my smoke breaks at work with MJ’s carts and others with up to 3 or 4 co workers...they couldn’t smell s@&t!
