24 hours

We respond relatively quickly to any messages/post responses. It all depends though mate. The seller may well be swamped with enquiries, order etc. Then life gets in the way also.

But saying that, as a seller you should at least aim for 24 - 48 hours reply rate.

i respond when and as i see the message. i dont see the point in stalling as it needs to be answered eventually anyway. no point leaving it until the client is fuming and going public!

DGT & JJ respond very quickly. And an absolute touch that they send a message once package has been delivered to make sure everything was ok with the order.

personally I'd say same day. vendors are online taking orders etc, even if you don't have an answer for the customer, its important to acknowledge you've received their msg, otherwise bad reviews will follow...this would go for any online retailer regardless of legality.

this being said - I'd happily wait 48hr before the worry kicks in 😅

the fact that they're new vendors may also have an impact on response times. trying to find their feet in a new Environment. most are here to do good business and retain loyalty.

On a whole this site is the most magical place I've come across. so much respect for the whole community, buyers and seller alike. But I think sometimes buyers do need to take it easy on vendors, see lots of negative comments floating about directed at decent vendors!! make sure you buy big and I always make sure I have at least 1 weeks stash left when I place a new order to give more time for errors as we are only human!

Happy to wait 2 days. Happier to get a response within 2 hrs.

The vendors messaging system can get overflowed easily, But yes 48 hours is long enough (If the message is one that needs a reply)

Same day = awesome service
Within 24 hours = good service
Within 48 hours = acceptable service
(Not including weekends, where I'm happy to wait additional days)

24h should be the right response time! Unfortunately, this is often not the case. I think it is very important to reply to messages quickly.

I think 24 hours is as much as anyone wants to wait for a response these days. Quicker is ideal but it's not full time for everyone.

I think a day or 12hours is fair for all...

When follow up for an order 12hrs, an inquiry 24hrs or if a complex question 72hrs what are we here to do business or be stoners who can't function???

Usually within the hour. I don’t think 24/48h for responses is acceptable. It’s not hard to set up email notifications.

12 Hr response is amazing.
24 Hr response is good.
And a 2 day response is just OK but anything past that is then taking the piss.

I have a vendor who’s says the package is in the post office and I have it in front of me, with the customs letter.
Tracking shows it was opened by customs.
Can someone please tell the vendors that the package is still delivered without the weed, accompanied by a customs letter inside.

When we import from cali on few occasions the box is empty with a letter.
And on tracking it shows its sat at LA Airport.
But we received an empty box.

It shouldn’t take longer than 24 hours IMO and certainly no longer than 48 hours. If you’ve been waiting longer than that I think it’s fair enough to be a bit pissed off as one of two things has happened either a) they’re ignoring you intentionally or b) they’ve made an honest mistake and “missed” your message which to be fair isn’t that difficult to do on here. Personally, I’ve always had a response within a few hours to any queries but I generally deal with some of the smaller vendors on here for that exact reason. Also appreciate sellers are busy but all sellers should be willing to put an hour or two aside everyday for dealing with customers, it’s part of the job.

I think I would probably message again after two days although some vendors are just better at dealing with that side of things than others, I've haven't had any situation where the vendor didn't respond at all. I did once get an order sent message after the goods had arrived!

Real life gets in the way sometimes, so I usually allow up to three days, but I'd usually expect a response in two most times.

We aim for same day. sometimes when its flat out busy it becomes close to impossible, although a discrepancy needs to be resolved asap imo and should take priority

I messaged Canadian Imports, had an order on the go but wanted to be annoying and ask what flowers they had coming out in the near future. They took 3 minutes to reply ill place money on CI being the best vendor on here for bud and range of bud provided...delivery....services.

I check the site every few hours maybe between the hours of 1 am to 7 am you won’t get a message right back but any hours between then I will most likly get back to you within 2 hours at the very most, but everyone different being a buyer previously for many purchases I know the value of quick response so aim to get right back at ya asap

I think 24hrs is asking for too much. Unfortunately, we are not at a stage where you can get bud on Amazon. Yes, regular online businesses should be reactive, but even then, expecting an answer in 24hrs is setting the bar quite high.

Within 72hrs is what I would expect here, after that I start getting worried if it’s to do with an active order. If it’s a general enquiry, I would send another message and hope to hear back within 72hrs again. So nearly a week for a general enquiry would be the most I would wait for. We just have to recognize and appreciate the effort of vendors on here.

yeh, then you need the fan as well, they can be quite loud so its best to get one with adjustable flow, they create a smell free house, so no worries.

well, im using a mini 6 inch on just now with one of the blue variable speed fans, previously i had a 6 inch full sized carbon filter, it ran on my desk for ten years before it wore out, takes out all smells.

i simply have the carbon filter sitting there and the fan fits into the flue on the filter, if you wanna get hi tech you can also add a hepa filter to the intake or exhaust so all dust is also taken care of.

What LUD said. As long as they have a good rubber seal your golden. Added a link to the jars in question. If you have a Asda near by they always stock them in the kitchen section.

Kilner/MasonJars work ok but not 100% smell proof. I used to fill up several large buckle down ones but the cupboard I kept them in was still pretty pungent.

Two words: Sandalwood Incense.
I smoke in my room all the time with the windows and curtains closed and it never smells like weed.
Lavender works well too, but sandalwood has a stronger smell so it overpowers the weed

I smoke indoors with an air purifiyer cant go wrong

Double vaccum seal with thick gsm plastic, nothing can escape that, its airlocked.
If the amount is large then get luggage vaccum sealer bags and suck the air out.. same goes, double it up and nothing will escape.

I second the carbon air filter for active smell protection, but make sure the filter can filter the whole rooms cubic measurement of air in less than an hour.
Always buy a filter that can deal with more air than the room has . Example get a filter that has a rate of filter 20m³/hr for a room that is 10-15m³.

Hi Fastbudsuk. I've found this too. I guess if you are growing hydroponically and supplementing with co2 and blasting the hell out of your plants with light, you might have a chance, but otherwise, more often than not, as you say, seed banks are at least a week off. I find the best thing to go by to determine maturity is the state of the trichomes. The colour and general shape and size. Lots of material about it online.

Never had an Indica show a decent amount of amber trichs before week 10.

I always ignore the guidance from the seedbank. People should just get a decent jewelers loupe and look for themselves.

The problem comes when some of the plants in the tent are maturing faster than others, even from the same strain. So you get a staggered harvest. Bit of a ball ache to remember which is which in the drying rack but not the end of the world.

Some plants just grow slower under the exact same environment. See little lady in the left above.

But yeah, probably 50 grows so far, I've never pulled a plant after 8 weeks flower, and I run DWC.

Running clones can cut your trigger by quite a few days..
What lights are they you've got?

If you don’t feed bloom nut too early you can extent another 2 week

I very rarely found seeds to finish on the time stated, it's always over 1,2,3 weeks maybe. if it's grown in 100% optimal conditions and you don't have any problems maybe it's possible

That's because seed plants generally aren't sexually mature when first put into flower...so the initial switch to bloom can take 2 weeks plus!
If you ran from clones/mature plants then the trigger to flower is normally quicker,giving you a better chance of a true 8 weeker
