Thirded. Incredible album. Somehow manages to starts off an instant classic AND be a grower. It's very special. His look, style and content deserves so much recognition. I saw Tinchie comment on his Insta saying he was the best of British right now so hopefully that's the start of him snowballing his way into the hearts of minds of rap fans across the country and beyond.

Standout track for me is Pat Earrings, which I'd already played roughly 1000x before the album came out. That use of 80's horror synth is just something else. Feel like I'm listening to quality rap while trying to escape the monster from It Follows

What makes you say Paybis is safer? I used to send coinbase>wallet>LB but recently I’ve been doing coinbase>LB due to the fees and haven’t had any issues yet. I have seen loads of stories on here of people who’s coinbase got closed down

Doubt many have heard this, but basically the story behind this song and others in the album is that someone somehow ended up in a parallel universe where either the beetles never broke up or ended up getting back together & never died. Which led to the creation of this so called album and a few others. Some guy stole this album which was on a cassette tape and some how managed to bring it to our universe, I can’t fully remember the story but it’s on the internet somewhere with a full web site explaining the story, I’ll link it for anyone whose interested

Santander

I also have a Santander account and I tried to use that to buy some bitcoin last sunday, The transaction was declined and I was logged (and locked) out of my online account, A few minutes later my phone rang , when I answered it it was a recorded message from santander asking me to "press 1 to confirm my identity", I pressed "1" as requested and was immediately told "we are experiencing high number of calls" and I was placed on hold for 2 hours . Eventually they answered, asked me a few stupid questions, then placed me on hold for another hour and half, Finally the "fraud" department answered, told me there shoudn't be a problem and unlocked my acccount, I havent tried again yet, he said there wasn't a general ban on crypto (unlike the TSB) but they have had problems with "binance" Once bitcoin starts to rise again I'll try again

Yep straight up refused, as I pressed "confirm to complete the transaction, a message popped up saying transactions involving crypto were no longer "permitted" They also logged me out !! I was livid, got straight on the phone to customer services..... 30 minutes later when I eventually got through, I was basically told it was for my own good, and the "safety" of their customers, and words to the effect that if i didn't like it , then I knew what I could do,....wankers !!.....I'll be doing just that tomorrow when they open, although I have no idea where the nearest branch is these days

I think it will ultimately be the money left on the table that will make the UK government finally move, because the idea of taking an illegal market that is worth billions and taxing it is incredibly enticing, even for right wing politicians. Several of them have invested in North American cannabis operations already.

But public opinion must be undeniable for tory governments to act. Labour, Plaid and SNP can easily make the decision without offending their voter base, but tories can't. Millions of old people still around that grew up with 'All drugs are bad' ingrained into them from childhood, so have never experienced them to have an independent opinion of. Like old racists, their views cannot be changed so easily, and tories count on their votes heavily for power.

The legialisation campaign should be based on the tax issue get a coach and paint on the side,You pay £31,000,000 a year policing cannabis imagine if we spent that on the NHS!

Definitely. The link says society spends £19b a year on all the illegal drug trade, so even napkin math style it is obvious the financial benefits are colossal for the government. This is the argument that needs to be made, because it moves people disinterested in social benefits. It moves people that only look out for their own financial interests, who can't be reached with arguments of the benefit to others.

It’s already legal for medical use, since 2018. You can get a prescription right now privately really easily and it’s legal for regular NHS GPs to prescribe it, if you can find one that has read the research and is willing to.

Also, even without a prescription, if you can show that you have a condition that is on ‘the list’ for prescriptions then the CPS won’t prosecute you as they consider it a mitigating circumstance.

Outstanding news if that's correct about being able to show you have a condition. I have arthritis - I don't need weed for it as I have some hardcore medication, but there's absolutely no denying the green also helps. Nice to know if things go pear shaped I might be less at risk than I otherwise would be. Shame it has to be this way though.

You can get a UK Cancard right now, it’s just started...see google.You need to obtain your medical records (but you don’t have to say why you want them) and have a recognised condition (the list is on the website). The CPS has confirmed that the card will be a mitigation for personal possession and use and will not pursue such cases. It’s a start!
