Weird Pet Giveaway
No, I'm not giving away a weird pet, but I will give 5 carts (one each) to the 5 weirdest pets posted here. Please include a little note to prove you haven't ripped a random picture from the internet
I'll start with ones I used to keep which was weaver ants, sadly I have used an image ripped from the internet so I immediately lose the competition. These ants use their own young to weave nests, this is done during the 'spinning' stage of an ants life where they spin a web around their body to transform from a larvae into an ant, similar to a caterpillar. Mine built their nest in a dead bonsai tree similar to the picture attached.

Not sure how weird it really is but perhaps weirder than my cats. Titus the tortoise, turns out it's actually a girl (found out when we looked after a friends male tortoise!) but we kept the name!
The only real problem with Terry was that if he was in a bad mood he could shoot the spines from his thorax at you. And one day he brought the kids round!π
I heard that when they die, they shoot those out and it can get caught in your throat. Nasty
He lived in a whole in the ground in the garden and in the evenings would stroll on to the terrace to join us. Visitors started to dwindle...
We had ours hibernate itself last winter, but was a rescue so we'd never been through the process...thought we'd killed the poor fucker! Back up and about now though after a while haha
While he may not be a weird pet it will always be really funny to me this guy was advertised as a dwarf bunny. Hes not even fully grown in this pic, for reference im 5'8 and thats him easily covering my torso. Dwarf my ass!π
