it's objectively good practice to use one, although i asked a bunch of people over time including admins / borgs and they all said you don't have to worry too much about a VPN on here, unless you are a vendor, or someone who buys in considerably large amounts regularly.

Thank you hesh. I am not a vendor and I certainly wont be buying in "large" amounts! I have never used this before and very hesitant to venture into the darker web. I am finding it a bit of a minefield to be honest. Buying bitcoins, which is the best place to use...and then do I need a seperate "wallet" to transfer them to...I am an oap ffs! Didnt have this hassle when I was in Marrakesh early 80`s!! :-)

It's all good mate we've all been there with the initial hesitation thinking this is all too good to be true :), and couldn't agree more the first couple days figuring out how to buy bitcoin and the wallets and all the terminology that goes along with it can be very frustrating, but all these feelings will quickly reside once your first pack comes through the letterbox i can assure you of that!

as far as buying bitcoin, i've used coinbase since day 1 (been buying 2 and a half years) they are a safe bet, fees are consistent, although consistently a little on the high end lol but manageable!

as far as having a seperate wallet, it's definitely the smartest way to go about it! can definitely vouch for exodus wallet! only needed customer support one time through my own fault and they were absolutely brilliant to deal with!

so you would buy your bitcoin from coinbase, send it to your personal wallet, and then you're good to go and purchase anything on here :) for ultimate peace of mind on your first order i would go for a vendor who offers special next day delivery with tracking! really puts the mind at ease imo

I just want to make this as simple as possible! It isnt as though I do not trust this site, that is not the case, it is just the procedure to get the bitcoin and then the safest/easiest way to pay!

Hi mate if you want to avoid using your own wallet and make it as simple as possible you can send the bitcoins directly from bittylicious.com I've been using them almost 2 years no issues :)

I make the order on lb then go to bittylicious and put in the address and amount of btc needed for the order then I pay using online banking (transfer) instead of by card because it's more reliable but you can do either if your card gets accepted, whatever you decide to try good luck and enjoy!

Thank you for that. I did actually take the plunge earlier this morning. Bought bitcoin on coinbase via my bank then transferred to an Exodus wallet and placed my first order here which went through fine! I had a few security code pings on my mobile but that was ok. Fingers crossed then! I am still finding my way around this site, struggle a bit without a search button. Great communication so far with the seller but not sure yet how to leave positive comments on their page.

Not a problem at all and yeah you've got it exactly right!
buy from coinbase but remember to always overbuy by a small amount because of fees, anything below £50 is £1.99 fee, between £50 -75 is £2.99 and then above that the fees are more dynamic, you will see the fee before you purchase on coinbase anyway just wanted to give you a heads up on that though! (will take anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes to appear in your coinbase balance after buying)

send it on over to your exodus wallet (again takes anywhere from 10 seconds to an hour to appear there) it will say 'pending' once it appears in your wallet whilst its being confirmed in the network, once the pending status is gone you are good to go and purchase away :)

I think it's a good idea to run a VPN most if the time to be honest. Make sure you look into whichever VPN company you decide to use, some have past history of handing over data to law enforcement, despite what their website says.

I find Express VPN very good, and it's cheap if you pay upfront 👍

Do you have an iOS device? If yes, the best thing i can recommend is download the Tor Browser app (the icon is purple with an onion) it has a built in VPN that won’t make your connection any slower and it’s pretty straight forward to use.
