Riley packs a punch alright. This stuff is unreal, cured to perfection into dense balls of goodness. They quickly become a kief-like powder in the grinder, roll carefully if you use little or no tobacco! Sometimes I mix with Riley's (also excellent) shake for a breezier joint, it's a top combo.
First time I tried this it really took me by surprise. I have high tolerance and usually need a lot to feel properly stoned, but one joint of this got me there. Gassy, potent and goes straight to the brain, this is true jet fuel.

I got a couple of joints to review of this with my order of the sherbet, smoked it after a long weekend of chores from Mrs apex. Too stoned to write up, ordered 14g the next day!
Buds mostly small, but a sight to behold. Very purple some violet, orange and sparkly green.
I’d jizz my pants if my shady 20 baggy street dealer gave me my 0.7 of this!
Spotted mention in reviews that it’s dry and non terpy?
Was a little dry but not more than anything else or like an ancient mummy turning to dust after being exposed to air after 1000000 years.
Hour in my jar with a terpy boveda pack and it’s now springy buds again.
Grinds nicely for kegs and joints, fine but again not too dusty.
Joint is nice, terps is there but I’m now leaning towards the mighty (hopefully a turning point for my battle against smoke).
Bit gassy and sherbet runtz like to me, very very pleasant for my pallet as mixes sweeties and gassy profiles.
Burned once uneven, but I’ve had several of the more purple buds recently do this?
Is it just the plant? as all were fucking yummy still and a wee lick on Rizla sorts it out so no drama for me?🤷♂️
Could be a Shiite apex roll, I was in a rush 😂

Honestly, my fav in the mighty so far at this temp. Cracked it up to 180 and clouds are big and really tasty, not getting the toasty flavour at all yet and no coughing at all.
I’m getting better but that last hit FUCKED me, no coughing but I’m lean as fuck
Think I’m gonna try mighty more of this than I usually do, very nice in it and delivers a big strong hit of terps and potency.
Back to the joint and she’s still smooth near the filter, burning even no so 1 course correction might be roll.
Ash is very light grey to white, really getting a nice mouth of gassy runty terps, even at the end which for me is usually more resinous and hashy
Overall, stoked I just went 14g on this. Absolutely loving it in the mighty and the joint is yummy and still cool 1mm from the end!

God is in the rain... I was thinking that coming down off the last trails of my trip last night (which, somehow you can't have seen the review of? Check topics wall), and as I stepped outside it was really wet and I came back in, so that was clearly over. Definitely not like the end of V For Vendetta.
Your input would be appreciated. Wasn't really sure how to write up a 'shroom bar. Weed's pretty easy, isn't it? What's it look like (fuck 'bag appeal' if that's bumping the score), what's it smell like, what's it feel like, what's it taste like, what effect does it have? Easier to piece things together like that fairly sequentially, as long as you're not interrupted due to reality and family life, obviously.

Yeah, I needed to do that, and I sent messages to people and figured out timestamps from that. Not perfect, but it gave me some accurate timeframes after I just munched something on a whim. I agree though that for something specific like that that would be very useful. Useful for yourself for dosage and experience as much as for anyone else.

3 joints all burned evenly so putting first down to dodgy roll. I use about 80% weed to baccy

Had the same experience as you, this stuff delivers a knockout punch. Definitely not a daytime strain!
I think the small nugs are just how this travels tbh. The bigger nugs in my batch will crumble into popcorn sized pieces with very little pressure, so I don't think big nugs would stay whole for long. I think it's the same reason it grinds fine so quickly, just a brittle composition. Not complaining though, it's the nature of the bud and it's an absolute beauty.

I've read a few good things about Riley on here but hadn't got round to trying until now. Really glad I took the plunge, Riley is first class.
Ordered GSC, it came next day, great comms from seller, and the product is an absolute beauty. Big, dense, glistening nugs. Tastes and smells just like GSC should and the effects are 10/10. Strong but entirely pleasant, no anxiety or paranoia. You just feel good, uplifted and nicely high. Good stuff my friend, good stuff.

I've had my fair share of strains, both from LB and elsewhere, and this is truly top tier stuff. Will definitely be coming back to this one.
Stealth was spot on as always, dispatched immediately and arrived safely. The smell is fresh and fragrant, the buds big and beautiful. If anything the pics don't do it justice: big juicy buds, covered in orange pistils and glistening with trichomes.
As for the smoke... I have a high tolerance and struggle to get much of a head high these days, even from 'Cali' strains sold on LB and elsewhere. As such, I wasn't expecting too much from this humble OG Kush.
Half a joint later, however, this bud proved itself to be truly OG in more ways than one. I got a proper heady high, delightfully disoriented and stress free, reminding me of my first time many years ago. An OG, old skool kind of high. This is the good shit, the real deal.
If you like a strain that packs a heady punch, you'd struggle to find better even at twice the price. So glad I took the plunge and got an ounce. Honestly, if you're reading this and wondering whether to make an order, go for it. Don't fuck about; this bud sure doesn't.

Book recommendation, that is a good idea!! An awesome book is The Dice Man by Luke Reinheart. It is about a guy who after a gaming evening, playing cards and dice with his friends then starts to give the options to the dice, and if the numbers come up he must complete that option. Great book, that caused me to carry dice for many years, in case I needed inspiration when making choices!

I've been reading The Similarillion, the book set at the dawn of the universes of J.R.R. Tolkein. A bit confusing to begin with but damn it's a brilliant book. It explains the structuring of the gods in their universe. Honestly give it a read if fantasy is your thing.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. a great book with arguably the best book to movie adaptation ever. Johnny Depp performed so well as Raul Duke
The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera - sounds heavier than it is but it changed the way I think and validates a hedonistic way of life, sorta!

Is there any chance you can take some pictures of your weed that actually shows the quality. Instead of the fuzzy green blobs on the screen;)

Radar is one of the best vendors on here and this is no exception. Arrived next day, perfect stealth as usual.
Priced very competetively as a 'B' grade, this is an excellent smoke. The bud was much denser than I expected and has a nice subtle citrus aroma. It's a testament to radar's standards that this is sold as a B, it's nice stuff and properly strong too. This wouldn't be out of place in a high-end Amsterdam coffee shop.
As you'd expect from the strain, it's a nice productive daytime high. It's a fun, sociable and motivational heady high. A great herb all round, don't hesitate to buy at this price!

Regarding the rarity of this strain...Yeah!? Who has even heard of this before!? I hadn't! So well done on sourcing something different and interesting for us to try! You keep bringing such good variety! <3
Elphinstone was the last of My multi order to arrive, though still only took one day to be delivered, as there was a small hiccup with packing and one was missed off my order! No worries! TGT sorted me out without any fuss or muss! The packaging as always was discreet, smell proof and able to be popped through any standard sized letterbox.
The buds that arrived were all of good quality. A little flattened, but i think that was just to get it into the package ;) Large, bright green buds, small fluffy orange hairs which are tightly packed to the buds. No sugar leaf and coated in glass like, glittering crystals! Honestly a 10/10 for appearance! Gorgeous nugs!! <3
The smell of this weed is goooood! When cracking My jar, I can smell a peppery, earth scent with a very skunky distinction! Not too sweet and nothing too heavy. Very pleasant!
The smoke is very smooth and very clean. Almost like a cookies strain with its subtle vanilla-ish notes. Tangy on the exhale as expected for something skunky like this. It has that good old school taste. Floral and ever so slightly sweet. But again...so so so smooth!
The high is floaty, productive and non foggy! I feel awake due to that lovely sativa buzz its giving Me! Not full sativa effects...I am relaxed and focused, but not couch locked! My thoughts are clear and I think if i sat down to watch some cartoons, I'd be having a good giggle. Definitely an uplifting high! And totally functional if you have things to do! Just be prepared to do them with a cheesey grin on your face at the slightest amusement hahaha.
Another great one from TGT! I am going to be placing an order for some more, for sure! I don't think I will see this one again and I'm enjoying it so much. Especially having to be at home all the time! This strain is a good one if you find indica a bit heavy to get *everything* you need to do, done...But cant help yourself and smoke all day regardless ;)

Damn, your reviews keep making me want to buy more weed... I recently got TGT's Gelato after reading your review, really looking forward to trying it this weekend. I like a heady euphoric high, GSC is one of my fav strains. With its GSC parentage I feel I'm in safe hands with the Gelato, but was less sure about Elphinstone until I read this. How would you compare the high to the Gelato, and cookie strains in general?

Hello! Personally, Elphinstone was my favourite. It was a well bodied smoke, with a great taste to match! The high of the Elphin is much more buzzy than the Gelato TGT have at the moment. I would recommend it over Gelato! And hey, no worries!! Glad I can be of assistance to people! :)

As ever, agree with almost everything youve posted here. The only thing id say is that the buds in my 7g were really compressed, which size wise, made it look not much bigger than a henry. That appeared to be down to the fact that the internal baggy was so tight it was basically vacuum sealed - possibly because of the strength of the smell? Idk. All that said, when ground up it fluffed nicely, and the weight was bang on.
The smell is spectacular. Taste is lovely, your description here spot on. The high is key. Not foggy at all. I found the banana similar - but this is stronger for sure.
Im going to be controversial - i think the price is a bit OTT for a lovely lovely smoke - which im assuming is more down to rarity. It still doesnt oust the papaya as my favourite smoke over the last few months - but it runs it a close second.
My overall ratings on the 4 recent would go something like
Papaya - 10/10
Elpinstone - 9.4/10
Banana - 9.2/10
Strawberry - 9/10
Plus a mate of mine got some of the gelato in, which was a good solid 9.3, too heavy for me during the week when i have stuff on though. My head was foggy until about 1pm the next day with that.

Glad you enjoyed it. It depends what you want from your smoke on LB i guess. I never mind the price tag, if the weed is something i cant score on the street. Which is often the case!
My preferences seem to be pretty similar to yours based on reviews for the papaya, banana, strawberry etc.
As such, if you would advise to go for one of the three youve had in your multi (elph/candy/gelato), which would you go for? I cant justify ordering more than one to my wife atm, as i’ve still got lods of other bits left too!

It’s Nice, but not that nice. Very heavy on the chest, very very stativa buzz, extremely expensive for what it is. Still nice though and tgt are very reliable.
Amazing :) but I just done the bitcoin conversion rate one hundred and seventy two pounds for a half ..OMG . plus sending fees , plus delivery.. JESUS! what a shame ..this really looks like real old skool quality bud grown well

TGT Elphinstone review: great all-rounder
Definitely worth trying this strain if you get the chance. I got a mix of medium and large-size buds, all whole, with plenty of glistening trichomes and fine orange hairs.
The taste is quite subtle, with a light floral and almost tea-like aroma. Goes down smooth and delivers a nice balanced high. It has the sativa buzz so is more energising than relaxing, but overall it sits somewhere towards the middle of the scale. A decent daytime or early evening high, as you can still focus and get things done.

Perfect mix for night & day
This was my first time buying from ULC and they're already my favourite vendor. I bought a 6g mix of Lemon Shining Silver Haze and Blue Gelato 41.
The package came within 2 days, really well-packaged with the strains clearly labelled. The ULC stickers are a class touch too.
The Lemon Shining Silver Haze is a perfect daytime sativa smoke. The smoke is clean, citrusy and smooth, then the high creeps up fast. It's a fantastic euphoric high that feels physically uplifting, while staying bright and clear. Very sociable and productive, plenty of the positives of being a bit 'too high' without the negatives.
Blue Gelato 41 is an ideal evening strain. It has a pleasant grassy flavour when vaped, and isn't too harsh on the throat even at higher temperatures. The high is very mellow and contented, relaxing but not sedating. It's not too couch-locky like some heavy indicas, so you can still get on with things. An absolutely lovely night-time strain if you can get it.
