I've tried curaleaf, hexacan, grow and aurora. All were pretty mid. I would have to check but the last batch i got wasnt awful but its still in the boveda jars i have it in, got a bigass 62% 1lb pouch for it, hasnt made a massive difference to the medical in the past. But yk.

I would obviously use a vape as they save on bud, healthier yadadada. But yeah you really do need a half decent one, i've had a couple amazon ones and they just werent very good. Just barely getting hot enough to vape the bud. Flavour always tastes weird and so did the high. Went back to the good ol bong.

The price that i paid was kinda goofy for the bud. I saw a lowest of £5.50 a gram and a highest of £13 a gram. The 30% strain aforementioned was close to £11 a g which was a complete utter rip off for what i got. Not even gonna mention the prices for anything else cuz as apex mentioned the carts prices are gooooofy.

It being legal is obviously pretty fufking cool and will hopefully lead to us getting black/grey market quality through a legal dispenser. What are your guys opinions on medical cards for this? I dont drive personally so i cant speak about getting stopped high. But i feel just being able to give them a number they can call and verify your legally smoking is pretty good security but idk how good it works in practice.

You must match the weight of bud to the pouch size or your buds will reach incorrect moisture levels when using boveda/integra packs!

Arent boveda 2 way. They absorb and put out humidity.

100% agree with you. I have been on it for two months and have had some cookies kush that wasn't terrible but the 5 other strains I have had all needed time in a jar before being of a usable quality. The push to buy expensive vaporisers is annoying too, I get it's healthier but if someone prefers smoking then so be it provided they aren't using tobacco. The prices are kinda out of control for some strains and the fact I can only get it in 10g pots is annoying too and I wish they did 3.5s so I can find strains that help with my condition so much faster. There are so many issues with it currently but from the little I have seen it's improving on what it used to be and having legal protection for my cannabis is a bit of a game changer for me.

Prices are greedy for sure, initial consultations + follow ups and then expensive bud!!!!

After a year it’s cheaper as I only need one check in per 12 months.

I’ve probably sampled 40+ strains now and have found that price isn’t always indicative of quality (so same as black market).

Terps can be muted on many, especially if not leaving for a while. I’ve left some in jars for a month with boveda though and they are night and day from when vaping day 1, so try be patient.

Carts are a piss take imo, only a few available and 95quid for 1ml of distillate is robbery imo.

My best brand for terps and strength over this time has been “aurora pedonis” or something like that. Each one has had good terps and strength and doable at 8.50g (while I grit my teeth).

Everyone bashes Grow due to earlier strains and lack of anything. However, I’ve been quite impressed with their vanilla ice and grape galenia at 5.50g.

La kush cake is decent too for a cheaper alternative.

Those I’ve had at 11-13 per g are nice but nowhere near as good as what I’d get on here for that money.

The ease and legality of it + credible defence for getting swabbed with an archaic detection method for driving warrant the negatives for me.

You could quite easily top up your legal labeled pots with a supplemental supply and nobody would be none the wiser. Apex doesn’t do this of course but some dodgy / smart folks would definitely take this option 😉

The current legal medical needs to be boycotted, punish people for selling but a knob in a suite can sell me shit drier than my nans ashes legally? Get fucked lol. Not to mention they want you to have tried other treatment options with your GP first for certain conditions before even being considered eligible. Drug pushing maggots. BOYCOTT.

Haven’t tried any myself personally but if your after a variety of different shakes then I would look up Your Natural Medicine plenty of different strains to choose from and seem reasonably priced too.

Chunky Hereford beef short ribs generously seasoned and slow roasted in Guinness with whole shallots and a sprig of thyme.

Buttered hispi cabbage, quickly steamed carrots and stem broccoli, and proper mash with a hint of horseradish.

Gravy from the caramelised cooking juices, thickened, simmered and finished with a knob of butter.

A nice joint with all the trimmings mmmm

slow roast shoulder of lamb to the point where you pull the bone out clean, roast potatoes (par boil then cook super hot so they get all crispy), yorkshire puds, broccoli, cauliflower, roasted carrots to tell yourself you’re being healthy before you drown it all in gravy made with the lamb drippings.

beef curry with white rice and a side of vegetables 🥦

Gotta be a roast like some have said, but consisting of chicken and pigs in blankets. Juices used to improve a red wine reduction gravy (and lots). Carrots, swede, sage and onion stuffing, crispy roast potatoes (duck fat potentially). Puffy Yorkshire puddings and finally an optional cauliflower cheese (without gravy on top). Love a roast, gotta have a lot of gravy too, potential of mint sauce

For me mate it’s got to be a great big serving of home made risotto. Sets you up I tell ya. It's got to be made from a particular lemon risotto recipe by Nigella. Then you gotta follow that bad boy up with a slice of tiramisu coz it’s a Sunday!

I would go roast, but so many others have you'd have to give away all your stock if you choose roast now🤣

So I'll take you to Scotland mate, chicken breast, stuffed with haggis and wrapped in Parma ham. Served with veg of choice (everything goes😁), and a quality buttery mash, and then a whisky sauce over it all👌
Can substitute with peppercorn sauce if not a whisky fan..

Pudding.. if you get that far, some sticky toffee with ice cream🙂

Follow up with a coffee or tea and a nice cone😄

Lasagna/mac'n'cheese pasta bake. (This is one dish, not two, you guys and gals know pasta bakes are very versatile.)
Rustic, fairly easy prep, not so much attention required to the actual dish when baking in the oven. Perfect for when you're up in the clouds, just don't forget you're actually cooking.

PS: always make sure to top that motherfucker with some more cheese in the last 5 minutes. 🤤🤤🤤

McDonalds Big mac

I love a Sunday roast, but in hot weather I prefer chicken thighs in lemon, thyme, and garlic (garlic optional).
It's so easy to make (literally a couple of minutes prep), and goes as well with salad as it does with roast trimmings if the weather is cooler.

Also very quick compared to a roast (all done in less than 45 minutes) and the lemon flavour is just lush!

I would say BBQ(With honey and mustard mixed) pork ribs with Grilled veggies( carrot, peppers, garlic, mushrooms) along with a lettuce salad (lettuce, onion, cucumber, a bit of lemon juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt)

I didn't really know what to pick to be fair all those are pretty boring dishes that I had countless times but because I have to pick one I think I would go for a nice roast and because there have been many of you suggesting this I should and will be picking the first one who suggested this.
