Everyone loves a porno bud but surly quality is king as when in the grinder it’s all the same 🤷‍♂️ not quality but just the green.

I tend to find big buds = big steams = less weight?

Why?

Never fully understood this one myself. In fact, I find the smaller buds are tastier than the big ones, a bit like strawberries.

The bud in the image above contained very little stem and was fully dried. I had another from the same grow that was just over 14g (again fully dry).

They're a nightmare. Firstly they require some serious stealth adjustment, because you sure as hell aren't getting that into a large letter (I usually just keep the big ones for myself even though I prefer smaller buds to smoke), then there's the growing part, where these big buggers are just sooooo prone to bud rot it's unbelievable.

My latest MAC grow has some massive colas and I've got 2 dehumidifiers going as we speak to keep the RH down below 40% late in flower, because if bud rot does kick in, in one of the big colas it spreads like wild fire. It's such a stressful part of the grow when there are these big buds forming.

So yeah, don't understand the obsession with big buds at all, neither for smoking nor growing. I guess "bag appeal" to impress your mates might be a factor but it's not something I care about at all.

Give me 1g buds over 10g ones all day long.

I tend to find bigger buds from the same grow are usually tastier . Maybe there tends to be a bit more stem but vendor usually puts this into account . I like braking parts off the bud to roll into a spliff

I actually started growing about 20 years or so ago because my stepmother has MS. When I still lived with my parents my old man said I could use the shed if I shared the crop. The rest is history as they say!

What I have found is that MS can has different symptoms for different people, even people of the same age and gender can have different experiences so the advice I'll give may be a bit generalised not knowing your exact circumstances, but I thought it worth a post incase anything from my experience is relevant.

In terms of general pain management, my SM uses edibles, specifically cakes as she loves to bake. One seller on here who offers 'cannabutter' which can be used to make all sorts of things in the kitchen is UKGrower2. I'm sure if you send him a chat message he will be able to point you in the right direction with his products. He also does cannabis capsules which might be something to look at. MJConcentrates does pre made edibles including gummy bears and chocolate and also does a line of vape cartridges which might be worth considering if your other half isn't a 'spliff and bong' type smoker. My SM can get what we call 'attacks' where she cramps up sometimes quite violently, so in those instances what is needed is instant relief, which she gets from either a spliff or a vape pen. Edibles are great for general day to day use but they do take a while to kick in so if your other half's symptoms do require instant relief perhaps consider vaping. MJ has a great reputation and I'm sure he'd be happy to help you if you send him a message. His page is linked below.

If she is a classic smoker (spliffs and bogs etc) there are many good vendors on here selling good flower. I'll list a few below but in general any seller with over 100 sales and above 9.6 rating will almost always have good product.

There are loads more quality vendors on here but I'm not a customer, so other biggies can point you in the right direction for sellers I'm sure.

The final thing I'd add is that if your other half isn't a big cannabis user, or hasn't been for a good few years you really need to start off slowly. One thing I've noticed in the past 20 years is how much stronger cannabis is getting and the last thing you want is for her to have a bad experience and be scared off using cannabis for good. I'd strongly suggest baby steps with everything, edibles, vaping and smoking to start with. Remember edibles can take a while to kick in so don't be tempted to munch a whole packet because you can't feel anything for 20 mins. Never ends well that!

So yeah, I'm conclusion I would try some edibles for general day to day pain, and if she does have the cramping attacks like my SM then maybe a vape pen for the instant relief.

Cannabis has been a god send to our family so I really hope it helps yours.

I did use drugs Inc UK and found them to be pretty good for a few orders for my self and I got rso from them that I'll make in to oil for her but they haven't gotten back to message's from like 14days ago it's a pitty because I really like the service and items they have .

But ended up finding Popeye’z page and ordered a few ounces of COOKIE DAWG on Tuesday to see what she thinks of that should be here tomorrow hope fingers crossed.
She doesn't mind having a joint but the canna butter or coconut oil in a cuppa or her food she might enjoy it more

Especially the starting on low dosages, then building your way up to the right level.. Sadly some people who are in need of the plant can get put off very quickly by taking too much too early…

Good shout mate. Got a Mrs in a similar situation. If she likes a smoke a bit of CBD green might give more benefit. I know The Green Team have some there's a few CBD specific vendors on here an all

Yeah, sadly most cannabis we smoke is extremely low in other cannabiniods except for THC.. (great for recreational use though😉😅🥳)

For most illnesses though you need a nice balance of cannabinoids..🙂 (but there some where you need that balance… but also higher levels of THC as well, all depends on the person etc etc)🙂

I believe the vendor Cheesemaster has a few balanced cbd/thc strains (organic as well 👍💚)

Exactly mate, full spectrum cannabinoids aren't top priority to your commercial hydro grower these days haha

From my experience on here go for a vendor that sells homegrown or knows the growers a lot of the cali or other weed that look and sound good tastes harsh and you can tell have been grown with way too many chemicals. Greenhoney sells good honest weed like stuff you would have seen about around 15 years ago.

Try 1 to 1 ratio’s of thc to cbd. Mix that cookie dawg you got with some cbd weed from hemphash.co.uk. You will have a full spectrum cannabinoid and terpene medicine;)
