Where do all new strains come from? 👀

I thought I'd share a fascinating discovery I stumbled upon about cannabis strains from around the world and how modern cultivation has turned a handful of original strains into the crazy variety we have today.

Cannabis has evolved a lot over time, thanks to both natural selection and selective breeding. A lot of the popular strains we see now actually trace their roots back to old landrace strains, like Hindu Kush from Afghanistan and Pakistan, or Thai from Southeast Asia.

With modern breeding techniques, these landrace strains have been crossed and tweaked to create hybrids with all sorts of effects, higher THC, and unique terpene profiles.

Have you tried any landrace strains? If so, how do they differ to the hybrid variants we have today through modern cultivation?

Just need to flag this current situation. Normally don’t do this, but this vendor has forced my hand.

This vendor has my favourite gummies. Ordered a few times before and been very happy. After stopping smoking, was looking to put large monthly order in. So far so good.

Then I put my 4th in for 42 gummies (roughly £130). After a week nothing. It’s sent 1st class so I guess things happen. Tell vendor. No reply - except I get that sent notification for a second time. I assume a reship, so wait. After 5 days nothing. I tell vendor. “Sorry about that. Sending reship via tracked 24”. Wait another 4 days nothing. Ask for tracking. Nothing.

Then I reach out again. “Sorry about that, sending next day”. Wait two days. Nothing. Ask for tracking. Nothing.

So here we are. I’ve been on LB for 5 years and have over 400+ orders. This venue was legit. So what could explain this?

In my opinion only one explanation (which I’ve seen happens couple of times on LB): a vendor gets taken over by gangsters and the drain money from last orders and then fuck off. Hence me writing this to warn people that someone is suddenly very wrong with this vendor. Order disputed. Pointless situation.

Some simple questions:

WHERE IS MY ORDER?? WHERE IS RESHIP 1? WHERE IS RESHIP 2?

WHERE IS THE TRACKED 24 TRACKING INFO?

WHERE IS THE NEXT DAY TRACKING INFO?

When a vendor is legit these question get answered in hours and reship received in days. And yet here we are weeks later. Beware. You’ve been warned.

My reship finally arrived after weeks.

Although I think this vendor made mistakes in comms and taking a while to get the reship out. It’s seems in this instance it is me who is in the wrong.

They could have made this situation a whole load less stressful, but I shouldn’t have posted my original rant. If I could remove the post would.

Hopefully buyers can see that they resolved this and my accusations of them being taken over by gangers was a load of bollocks.

First order with this vendor.

Paid for ND Special Delivery within same day posting timescale. Didn’t turn up. Sent message. They replied saying that they had missed post cutoff and apologised. Honest (but incompetent compared to my trusted vendors). Fair enough. We are all human and have busy lives.

But then it doesn’t turn up next day, despite being guaranteed for delivery by 1pm. Hmm. This isn’t good.

Not feeling very good about my choice of new edible vendor right now. Feeling nervous after reading other posts that they’ve put wrong address and I’m about to get a visit from the feds.

Obviously, this could all be partially resolved with a tracking number. Doesn’t have to be this painful people!

Tbh I don’t normally do posts like this. But as a new customer still waiting on a special after 48hrs I had to do something. I appreciate you looking into it.

Update: finally turned up Saturday morning. That’s a long time for special delivery.

However, this whole situation could have been fixed by fast comms and a tracking number.

But the product and price is good.

I used the Tor browser ( rpund purple icon, half solid and half a target; as no idea if tor is a brand or terminology) and once it loaded & opened - I had a bar at the bottom that I cut and pasted into and pressed go. Then came here to test

if you use the tor brwoser make sure you have javascript turned on or several functions wont work.

On IOS you must select the lowest security level (bronze) instead of the default (silver) on Onion otherwise it auto disables JavaScript….

Just had a huge payment disappear into the ether while jumping between Clearnet and Society because clearnet just dropped out during the process. Its obvious the whole thing is breaking down. Between that and the RM strikes ruining Christmas I think it's best to go old skool for a bit. It's been a fun run though.

I’m struggling here.. I’m using the onion browser on iOS I’ve enabled Java and selected the correct country just says unable to calculate prices, try again later.
