Thanks. Yeah, I read that d;ink is getting some more book end Thai in. I had some of that before and it was nice. There used to be a few vendors seeking Thai with it but it seems to be getting rarer. Maybe just a temporary drought? Will keep hunting and refreshing.

We use Electrum as a software wallet and it has been fantastic so far, maybe worth a look and safer than storing on a browser service!

Localbitcoins is great - very low fees - and they're open about charges in a way that Coinbase and Wirex aren't (I was hit with a £13 charge from Wirex just for a £32 transfer!) Makes all the difference when you know where you stand, rather than just guessing and jumping into the unknown.

As a first timer on Localbitcoins you'll need to find someone friendly to open trading with so start small. Exchange rates are reasonable in this crazy time for Bitcoin - it's like a new Wild West! And you need the smarts of a Wall Street trader to get your head around it all. Impossibly complex at times, and you need a calculator with a wide screen for all those zeros!

Coinbase pro if you are already on Coinbase. You won't need to re register or anything. Just transfer over.
If you use limit orders on the platform, then the fees for buying and selling Bitcoin are very small.

I used bittylicious to buy and Exodus as my wallet (android app). Just placed my first order! Spent just under £50 on a 3.5g (berry widow from super hans) - very pricey but oh well. I'll probably buy bigger bits in future. The BTC transfer fee is like £7 alone!
