European vendors
European vendors
Morning all are there any EU to EU vendors on here still? If not anyone know how tight it is shipping UK to Italy?

How long does shipping take Spain to Italy? It says 8 days on the listings, does that seem right?

Bitpanda enforcing travel rule
Bitpanda enforcing travel rule
Morning all, bad news I'm afraid.
It would appear bitpanda has begun to fully enforce the travel rule which came into effect 30/12/24. Entering any name and wallet host appears to no longer work. Bitpanda is now fully reviewing transactions (maybe a proportion I don't know) and demanding the full legal name and date of birth of the transaction counterparty (recipient).
Here's the email I got from bitpanda support when I queried:
"We are contacting you regarding one of your recent crypto transactions on the Bitpanda platform.
To help us investigate and resolve this transaction as quickly as possible, please provide us with the full legal name of the transaction counterparty (recipient/sender). In accordance with the Travel Rule regulations, we are required to implement strict security measures for all crypto transfers. You can find more information about the Travel Rule and its requirements in our FAQ.
Please note that without the required information, we will not be able to proceed with the transfer. We kindly ask that you reply to us within 3 days, otherwise, the transaction will be cancelled.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via our contact form.
Best regards,
Team Bitpanda"
Here's their faq on the travel rules:

Looks like I need a new wallet or it's back to seeing my man Chin (he's alright to be fair).
Anyone got any wallet suggestions or work around? Cheers.

Ah thatโs annoying mate - what Iโm doing is just sending it to an anonymous Exodus wallet first (twice the sending fees but no scrutiny or hassle). And putting down the recipient as myself of course, โself-hosted walletโ. After that, no one checks - I can send to LB. Gives me peace of mind as all the Bitcoin platforms are getting twitchy these days ;). Iโve heard of people having their Coinbase accounts shut down for sending to LB.
Anyway, glad it finally went through for you! But Iโd def recommend using a free wallet like Exodus from now on.
Oh and just one tip - I canโt seem to send Bitcoin on the mobile version of Exodus, only the desktop one.

Oh and just one tip - I canโt seem to send Bitcoin on the mobile version of Exodus, only the desktop one.

Also remember to check the sending fees on Exodus, and buy a little extra bitcoin for sending from Exodus to LB - I only say that because Iโve been caught out by that more than once ;((

Been doing it this way a while now . A small extra fee but worth it for hassle free transactions. Only difference being I use the exodus app through my phone no problem.
Yes been caught out with the fees myself...most annoying when you're $2 short!

Nice mate appreciate the advice and I'll do exactly that. Yeah the whole extra security is a right pain but as long as you can work round it I suppose. Have a great day and take it easy.

No problem, glad to help :)
Oh, and as I said in my post above, donโt forget to buy a little extra bitcoin for the second sending fee (Exodus>LB) - my stoned ass has forgotten that once or twice at least ;)
Have a great day!

Just to add my voice to this, here is my process:
1 - Send money from the co-op bank to revolut account
2 - Send money from revolut to moonpay
3 - Buy BTC on moonpay
4 - Send BTC to my Nimiq wallet (completely decentralised wallet, it can hold BTC but I cannot buy BTC from there, BECAUSE it is completely decentralised and p2p, UK won't allow such anonymity.
5 - Send BTC from Nimiq to LB
Seems like a lot of steps, yes it costs a little more, but not much, we're talking pennies. If I wanted to be even more careful I would buy Nimiq on moonpay and send them to the wallet and when they are in my wallet swap the Nimiq for BTC. Which to be honest I might start doing. The crackdown is just the beginning of overt draconian and totalitarian rule. It's been happening forever, we only had the veneer of freedom, but it's RIGHT out in the open now, for anyone who wants to see it (sadly, many still DON'T want to) . But never forget peeps, when they try to shut one door on us, we just build a new one. We're free, and that never changes unless we believe it does.

It's not that it is dumb, but it may stop working for you in the near future. There is a massive crack down of privacy and anonymity "all fdid you get a look at it or your SAFETY people" (it isn't, that's just the party line, and it doesn't matter which party either, they are all owned by the same group of.....people?). It's good to know about it, be aware, have a back up plan in case the usual avenues get difficult.

Bless for the advice I am in the process of a contingency plan now. I'm new to the crypto scene but glad found out nw

Most welcome lovely. I'm only two years into it and I've already seen massive concerning changes. I used to be able to buy bitcoin with my bank card, without ID, not any longer. And the restrictions increase. Anyone would think there are a faction of psychopaths on this planet who really feel it is their right and DUTY to control the plebs. Ahem.

Just as an update for anyone who has similar, All went through in the end, I just gave bitpanda my own date of birth and name (which they must already have?) and they agreed to put it through. Fuck knows?

Hi Heatedmeatballs
I don't know about Bitpanda but have been warning Biggas a couple of times.
The reason why they want your name and DOB is becuase starting this year Exchanges which operate on a KYC basis in the UK will report to the Taxman.
It's already the case with e-sales and many of us have been burnt.
As I said before I do not want to link to Giv sites from LB but if you do a bit of research you will see that potentially the Taxman could investigate your crypto activity and ask to see all transactions all the way into non-KYC wallets.
I've personally shut down my Revolut account at this stage to keep it safe and I'm living on my stash for the time being.

Great info and good knowledge I'll do some research, scary times we're living in in so many ways. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Heatedmeatballs
Don't get me wrong I didn't say it will happen to you but it could.
ONce you look up the relevant web site you w ill see that the Taxman wants to tax ALL of your crypto including - and this is what has made me close my Revolut account - when disposing of your crypto i.e when buying goods and services.
Furthermore above a certain threshold it is subjected to capital gains tax AND they've halved the allowance AGAIN and it is now 3Kยฃ.
Can you imagine: being asked to show all your crypto transactions so that they can see where you sent it AND on top of it they would tax you on the spend. BIG TROUBLE.
Some will cross their fingers but I wouldn't chance it. Better safe than sorry.
They've been going after regular online sellers lately and they use AI to analyze Ebay/Vinted/Facebook listings to spot stealth traders.
If they start doing that with info sent to them by UK approved Exchanges they're going to be some casualties.

Transaxe down?
Transaxe down?
Does anyone know is transaxe having issues?
I can't pay for an order? When I hit pay, having put in address and shipping as always, nothing happens. If I hit pay again it says "field required" next to the lines of address even though they are complete?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, hope everyone's having a lovely morning. Cheers.

Tranq Dope? In your weed vape? No thank you.
Tranq Dope? In your weed vape? No thank you.
Really, what is wrong with people? Who thought using flesh eating animal tranquilizers to pull the old switcheroo on a bit of THC in a vape was a good idea? There's some fucked up chavvys about.

Personally I donโt think itโs a โswitcherooโ- I think itโs being sold for what it is as a heightened experience and at a cost premium (d9 distillate is so cheap now most substitutions make no commercial sense).
That does not make it a good thing. These vapes can still find their way into the hands of inexperienced users and are clearly dangerous but drug โcocktailsโ are unlikely to go away and this gives the press yet another excuse to demonise cannabis useโฆ

Totally messed up - abusing the trust of consumers who just want to get buzzed off harmless THC.
Of course in a black market, there will always be a minority of ppl who take advantage to make a quick buck and donโt care about hurting their fellow human beings. Which is why prohibition makes no sense in terms of consumer safety - we end up with this dangerous stuff being peddled. Fucked up situation, nobody should have this health risk hanging over them for simply trying to get stoned.
If you go to the Wedinos site - tests are showing a lot of spice/synthetic stuff in these things too.

100% Couldn't agree more. The arguments against it on health grounds just become more and more ridiculous.

Bitpanda appropriateness test?
Bitpanda appropriateness test?
Hi everyone, I've been on bitpanda for years with only the occasional hiccup.
Tried to buy ยฃ50 odd quids worth of BTC today and it says I haven't completed an appropriateness test?
This is in the app, it feels like the test should load but nothing happens? I can't find the test anywhere on the website or app.
Any ideas? Would rather not wait an age for their support to eventually reply.

Had to do this aswell today.
When you open the app you should get a pop up with a toggle button. Hit the button, click continue and it will take you to the test.
Its 6 questions. If you need any help give me a shout. ๐

Hi mate thanks for responding. It doesn't come up when I open the app? There is no pop up? I just get a message saying I need to take the test when I try to buy BTC but nothing to click.

When you open the app you should get a pop up called discover cash plus or something like that.
This pop up doesn't mention the questionnaire at all.

It doesn't come up but I can find it on bitpanda.com I'll try to fill it in on there. Hopefully it works. Thanks.

Don't think the answers matter it's just so they can cover their arse. I just did the ones I could Google then put don't know for the rest.

Update...it turns out the answers matter. I have been blocked from buying crypto for 24 hours for getting too many wrong.

Oh, itโs not like Coinbase that locks you out for โwrongโ answers?๐ค๐
Good to know, thanks!
Good to know, thanks!

I had a winge at bitpanda about all this yesterday and was a bit curt with one of their customer service bods. Felt bad about it this morning, as it's not the customer service dudes fault, so sent him a message apologising and they credited me โฌ5 as a gesture. So fair play to bitpanda and Nick from their customer service team.

Hi, that sounds like a pain. I have a verified acct with Bitpanda & just deposited ยฃ100, traded to btc then sent to my coins to a personal wallet. No 'appropriateness Test' but I also used my laptop not a mobile app. I have been queried in the past at other exchanges where payment went direct to the seller not to a wallet. Hope that helps & please let us know the outcome.

Just had bitpanda get in touch saying it was their fuck up something to do with an app update and a small numbers of customers have been affected.

I'm having the same problem. I'm able to deposit onto bitpanda but the I can't trade anything. Keeps saying I'm forbidden to trade anything until I complete an appropriateness questionnaire. I also been using bitpanda for years with minimum problems and can't find questionnaire anywhere

I think, according to dope dad, a pop up with the questionnaire should come up? I don't get anything? I'm on android are you apple or android?

Go on bitpanda.com not the app and click on cash plus or Google bitpanda cash plus and follow the website link. Fill in the questions and you are good to go again.

RZA is maybe the very greatest producer.

GZA's only verse on Linx!
8 Diagrams is another album I love. Keep coming back to it. So my contribution is 'Life Changes' (the absence of Ghostface on the track speaks of the deep divisions within the crew).

It is a shame and it's still going on, Ghostface and Raekwon are both unhappy with the tv show for example, the way they were unhappy with RZA and the artistic choices he made on 8 Diagrams, luckily Wu is forever.

{bot's life}
will office jobs survive?
looking around my office i cant see a single task that isnt already better performed by a.i.

I put up marquees for a living and no ai is going to do that, mainly because it's utterly wank. Arnie would definitely fuck it off.

This (AI within office-work) has only come up recently. I'd be curious and eager to hear how y'all have automated your tasks.
I process data on a large quantity but manually. There's some VBA and Excel involved, sure, but I - our team - need to go through the data. This is because of manual checks required on the potential products. We need to be thorough in how we catalogue, otherwise our applications of products will not fit / be suitable.
Could it be better performed through AI? Perhaps. Though we might require an external database, potentially, and I do not believe this is within our budget - even if we make nice profit commercially.
There is also, as another has touched upon already, decision making. We've tested it. Believe me. Is it infirm and incapable of making choice? Nope! It isn't as terrible as I'm making it out to be. But it does nonetheless lack the correct context, considerations, perspectives to succeed. I have no doubt this could change, though.
I worry that it will struggle to lead people. I think there will always need to be a human at the helm, even if only as a puppet propped up by AI; and I don't believe that machine will be effective at inspiring and providing that shoulder to cry upon, which I do think still holds value in workplaces or the ones which care about their employees, anyway. But I think AI will overcome this hurdle too at some point.
And which job will become immune, totally immune, I cannot say. It is hard to predict the future when it is so ever-changing.
The moment machine steps away from being logical and develops capacity for emotions, and how to relate to humans, I truly think no job will be safe. Thinking of priests, police, therapists, politicians...
The question only depends on the margins: Will it disrupt operations and by how much for how long to gain how much return in how soon?

this answer from hunyuan-turbos-20250416:
That's a fascinating and very real-world use case โ thank you for sharing it, Nietzsche. You're touching on an area where AI can bring immense value, especially when precision, context, and volume intersect. Letโs break this down and explore how AI might support or even transform the way you and your team work with large amounts of data that still require human-level scrutiny.
---
### ๐ง First: Understanding Your Workflow
From what you've said:
- You deal with **large quantities of data**, likely structured (Excel sheets, databases).
- Some automation exists (VBA, Excel formulas/macros), which is great โ it means there's already a foundation.
- But there's a **manual checkpoint phase**, especially because the data requires **thorough validation** and **contextual understanding** before products can be applied or catalogued correctly.
- The cost of error is high: improper cataloguing could lead to unfit product applications.
So you're not just doing number crunching โ you're interpreting, verifying, categorizing. Thatโs where AI can really earn its keep.
---
## ๐ง How AI Can Help โ Concrete Applications
Here are several ways AI could assist you, depending on your exact needs:
---
### 1. **Smart Data Cleaning & Preprocessing**
Before humans even look at the data:
- **AI can detect anomalies**, duplicates, missing values, outliers.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) models can standardize messy text inputs (e.g., inconsistent product names, typos).
- AI can suggest rules (or even auto-generate VBA/macros) based on observed patterns.
๐ *Example:* If one column contains product codes that sometimes include extra spaces, slashes, or alternate naming conventions, AI can flag or normalize them automatically.
---
### 2. **Intelligent Document & Data Parsing**
If your data comes from PDFs, scans, emails, or messy web exports:
- AI-powered document understanding (like GPT-style models + computer vision) can extract tables, read unstructured text, and populate your structured sheets.
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR) enhanced with AI can understand context โ e.g., distinguishing between similar product codes or units of measure.
๐ *Example:* You get supplier specs in PDF โ AI reads them, picks out relevant specs, and inserts them into your catalog template.
---
### 3. **Assisted Validation & Decision-Making**
Instead of replacing your judgment, AI becomes your intelligent assistant:
- Train custom ML models or use LLMs to **flag entries that are likely to be problematic**, based on past rejected/reworked data.
- Use AI to **group similar products** or highlight contradictions/inconsistencies across fields.
- Set up a **chat-based interface** (think: ChatGPT plug-in or internal tool) where your team can ask things like:
> โWhy was this product previously rejected?โ
> โAre there any known issues with supplier Xโs stainless steel grade 316?โ
โ๏ธ *Example:* Highlight rows where the weight tolerance exceeds historical thresholds, or where a productโs description doesnโt match known specifications.
---
### 4. **Semi-Automated Cataloguing**
For new products:
- AI can **pre-fill catalog fields** using known mappings (โIf code starts with AB-12, itโs likely a type 3 valveโ).
- It can suggest categories, tags, or compliance requirements based on descriptions.
- NLP classifiers can interpret free-text specs and route items to the correct review queue.
๐๏ธ *Example:* Instead of manually assigning 100 new widgets to categories, AI proposes categories first, and your team just approves or adjusts.
---
### 5. **Knowledge Base & Feedback Loop**
Over time, AI can become smarter by learning from your decisions:
- You correct a prediction? AI remembers and updates its model.
- You flag something as an edge case? AI starts recognizing similar ones.
- Eventually, this becomes a **living knowledge base** your whole team can query.
๐ง *Think of it as building your own AI colleague that gets better every month.*
---
## ๐ ๏ธ Tools & Technologies to Explore
Depending on your tech comfort and infrastructure, here are tools that can help you start:
| Tool/Platform | What It Can Do |
|---------------|----------------|
| **Microsoft Power Platform + AI Builder** | Build no-code/low-code apps with AI model training baked in. Works well with Excel/Office. |
| **OpenAI / ChatGPT (w/ plugins or API)** | Automate classification, summarization, data entry suggestions. Custom GPTs can be trained on your internal docs. |
| **Google AutoML / Vertex AI** | Train custom ML models without deep coding. Great for classification tasks. |
| **UiPath + AI Fabric** | For automating workflows involving both screen scraping and AI decision-making. |
| **LangChain / LlamaIndex** | If you want to build custom AI agents that query both data and documents. |
---
## ๐ A Hybrid Approach: AI + Human-in-the-Loop
Given that thoroughness is critical in your line of work, the best approach is rarely full automation. Instead:
โ Use AI to:
- Preprocess and flag.
- Suggest likely outcomes.
- Surface risks or inconsistencies.
๐จโ๐ซ Then you:
- Review the shortlist.
- Provide feedback.
- Train the system over time.
This โhuman-in-the-loopโ model balances speed and accuracy โ letting your team focus on hard cases while AI handles the routine.
---
## โ Next Steps for You
Hereโs how you might start experimenting:
1. **Pick one painful sub-task** (e.g., cleaning supplier data, categorizing new items).
2. **Gather a sample dataset** (100โ500 rows) with known good/bad cases.
3. Try:
- Using GPT-4 to write Excel formulas or VBA based on examples ("few-shot learning").
- Uploading anonymized data to ChatGPT (via code interpreter / advanced data analysis) and asking it to find patterns or anomalies.
- Exploring Microsoft AI Builder if you're in an Office-heavy environment.
4. **Document the wins** โ even small time savings compound over time.
---
If youโd like, I can walk you through setting up a small pilot โ say, an AI assistant that summarizes product sheets or flags inconsistencies in Excel. Just tell me more about one specific task, and weโll prototype a solution together.
Would you like to start with a particular part of the workflow?

Would you like to start with a particular part of the workflow?

I've looked at AI agent demos in our industry. I expect they'll start taking over admin roles pretty soon. They can make phone calls, log into systems, pass 2FA and human captcha. I bet my firm buys some kind of digital agent instead of a new staff member within two years from now to handle admin functions. It'll work 7 days a week, never get sick or take holidays. It'll never turn up hungover on a Monday. It'll just do it's admin. Once proven other roles will follow. Including mine. Probably the safest jobs are manual labour. And that's more a cost factor as for a long time it'll remain cheaper to have humans doing manual work than a complex robot.

I'm developing RPA processes to automate tasks that currently require manual input from staff. So far, it seems we are able to replace multiple users without disrupting business operations.
For now, decision-making remains a task for humans.
Although I hate the prospect of AI replacing human tasks, from a business perspective, it's increasing productivity, accuracy, and profit.
In the end, no job will be safe, not even mine.

Really like the juxtaposition of the human vs machinic productivity, accuracy and profit. The robolover backlash is going to be absolutely peak.

i don't celebrate anyone's murder, and this escalation of political violence is really concerning to me.
but - what is it that you're all mourning about charlie kirk? i'm sure he was a nice guy when he was in his pyjamas, but publicly he seemed like a toxic and intolerant person, wilfully spreading lies and misinformation and encouraging the dire political situation they have now in the US.
or am i missing something?

Totally agree with this, feel terrible for his family especially his children, no child should lose their father in such a horrific manner. However stirring conflict while being unashamedly bigoted and pushing a pro gun agenda is inevitably risky and incredibly irresponsible. There are consequences to endlessly stirring the pot for personal gain.

He also preached that he wouldn't allow his daughter an abortion even if she had been raped...

a few examples . . . .

Still, saying his opinions are wrong because the news says so is not very credible. Sure he's said some BS, like every other person on this planet.
If wanting to conserve sovereignty, freedom, secularism and family values is so wrong, who in their right mind wants to be right?
He died for what he believed in which is way more than anyone here will ever do, so get off your high horse with the finger pointing like he's not worthy of mourning because you disagree with him.
I'm more interested in the things he said during the last couple of days before his assassination, like during his interview with Ben Shapiro, and him now conveniently taking over his non-profit organisation.

How was he protecting secularism when he preached there should be no seperation between church and state?

"There is no separation of church and state, itโs a fabrication. Itโs a fiction. Itโs not in the Constitution. Itโs made up by secular humanists." In his own words. Not very secular.

Yes but he revised that viewpoint. That is why he made the comment I quoted in 2022 on his own podcast.

I wasn't aware he changed his mind on that subject, my apologies.
However, without delving too far into conspiracy theories, it seems many funders of TPUSA appear to support forms of political and legal work that weaken or reinterpret traditional notions of strict church-state separation, especially where they believe certain Christian values should inform public policy, or where religious institutions should receive public support.
Even so, I fail to see how he's said anything to warrant getting shot in the neck in front of his family as well as many others.
It's disgusting how so many here are keen to piss on his memory for disagreeing with him. I thought we were better than this, but apparently not.

actually i think i was pretty clear from the outset that i was never going to celebrate someone getting murdered. and i never said he had it coming.
i just didn't understand why he seemed to be held up as some kind of hero, when he seemed to be a person that was invested in societal division. that seemed to be a strange kind of hero to me.
and, as i already said, much of what is reported came straight from his own twitter feed. not sure why that's contentious to then be relaying here.
i actually think the LB community is, in general, a place of great compassion. some of us are perhaps a little more wary than others of celebrating the life of someone who seemed to be invested in creating division and amplifying hatred.
anyhoo, i'm not here to get into a pointless argument. ciao for now :-)

Didn't know we were arguing.
There's not a huge difference between celebrating someone's murder and jumping at the opportunity to voice your negative opinions and questioning people's justification to mourn a person in a thread about mourning said person. Maybe people's wishes for society differ from your own and he gave a voice to many such opinions, good and bad? There's a time and a place, and you had to butt in here to spew negativity as if it adds good to the world. You're coming off as self-righteous and intolerant - exactly how you portray what you're criticising. It's obviously contentious to relay that in a thread titled RIP Charlie Kirk, and I think you understand that perfect well.
He did many heroic things, especially the one that got him killed - wether he's a hero or not though is entirely subjective, so serve little purpose in this discussion.
I couldn't care less about the left/right drama, I just want peace, quiet and prosperity for all. He gave everyone who wanted to speak a platform to do that, that is heroic, especially when mass media is doing the exact opposite. He had some controversial opinions sure, but that doesnโt mean he's not worthy of mourning. In addition, this is an attack on free speech, not just Charlie Kirk - and in a sense he was martyred for us all to remember the thin thread we're walking in today's society, for we may all get shot in the neck for simply speaking, metaphorically as well.
If you're not up for debate then why reply at all?

aahhh of course, now the personal attacks begin.
this is why there's no point in continuing this convo. that's not a debate, that's you trying to demean me.
i never said i wasn't up for debate, i said i wasn't up for argument. your tone was aggressive from the start, and you've shown yourself now as someone who actually just wants to squash me, rather than debate.
my initial question about whether i was missing something wasn't disingenous, it was an honest one. but so far no-one has offered anything other than - oh he was actually really great, or, the news sources i'm reading are wrong (seemingly compared to the other ones that must be entirely correct).
'debating' people doesn't give you carte blanche to be rude. it just makes you rude, and your language becomes weaponised. that doesn't sound like someone who wants peace for all (unless that doesn't include me).
if you want a debate, then keep it civil.

I'm pointing out your hypocrisy. If you find it demeaning then don't throw stones in a glass house? You're pissing on someone's grave while being too sensitive to be criticised for it?
I've informed you of what you were missing, but you're being dismissing because you can't deal with being wrong.
He died defending freedom, is that not heroism to you? It's the objective definition of the word. Facts are facts - your feelings are not. You can't claim to want debate and to be exempt from criticism at the same time, what is this?
And yes, I want peace for you, as well as all the other people I disagree with.
I will never give you anything but words, and if you don't want them, don't engage.

it's amazing how often people here refer to 'facts', as if that somehow ends every debate. it's only your opinion that he died defending freedom. he died, that's the only fact here that can't be debated or considered.
I've asked an honest question about why he's so highly thought of here, and so far no-one has been able to say why.
I've asked an honest question about why he's so highly thought of here, and so far no-one has been able to say why.

He championed free speech by inviting critics to challenge him publicly, built platforms so students of all views could debate openly, and defended the rights of speakers outside his own ideology. He inspired thousands of young people to vote, run for office, and engage locally, helping turn apathy into action. He kept showing up despite protests and harassment, revised his own views when he believed heโd learned better, and even had the courage to call out mass media and AIPAC, including in a public conversation with Ben Shapiro, risking backlash from his own allies. Love him or hate him, he expanded civic dialogue, promoted peaceful debate, and encouraged a generation to take responsibility for their future. Thatโs a legacy worth respecting. These are facts.

How is he toxic? That's idiotic. He spoke nothing but common sense and they assassinated him for it you prick. Two kids and a wife.

There was a US school shoot up on the same day that only made local news whilst this reverberates across global media and probably for months to come. Something doesn't feel right...

I think Americans have become somewhat inured to school shootings. they're a fact of life there now (39 people killed or injured so far this year). political assassinations are still rare so I guess more 'newsworthy'.

some are saying the real shooter was near in the crowd, in white t shirt, with a smartphone ๐ซ.
which is silenced and can be aimed off the screen, you see it in the video, in one its pretty clear.

also Charlie was more a civil rights person than a right wing activist imo.
a true gentle spirit, which is why we feel the pain from our Souls too.

i have been in the mind of the source of all evil in this world, its machinelike, you can see, hear and touch the darkness, its reptilian in nature.
it wants our souls, we must understand we are wicked men at heart all of us, without the Grace of God.

Favourite 2 all time full albumโs you listened to over and over again
Iโll start Dr Dre 2001 and Bob Marley and the wailers.

Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (managed to see them in NYC for Rock The Bells 2010 performing the whole album was a dream comes true) and the second best album for me would be Gang Starr - Moment of Truth

finally someone said Blue Lines. It's odd because in a lot of ways musically I don't rate it highly, it's kind of clumsy in parts, some of the ideas are underdeveloped, some of it almost makes me cringe. But there was just something so special about that time and the sound felt so new and yet familiar. Even though their later stuff is "better" Blue Lines has such a permananet special place in my heart.

Prodigy - Music For Jilted Generation
Leftfield - Leftism
Could list plenty but these 2 are special ๐๐ฅณ๐คฏ๐ฝ

Leftism is immense. It's been a while, I'm gonna have to fish it out the old collection.

Time well spent. As for The Prodigy, I saw them at Glasto in '95. They were flying high off the back of Music for the Jilted Generation. I vividly remember Keith (RIP) rolling onto the stage in a giant hamster ball. They were awesome. So much energy.

I was in the crowd too. Got a bleeding nose but was dancing so wildly I didnt realise. Everyone was freaking out and I was like...what..? It sort of strangely suited the moment.
Glastonbury 95 was epic!

Graceland brings back memories of my mum blasting that album most days when I was a kid

That's how I first heard it too when my mums friend got them the album back in the early 80s)

Tom Waits "Blue Valentine", Ry Cooder "Bop Till You Drop" - honourable mention to Joni Mitchell "Blue", Janis Joplin "Pearl", David Crosby "If I Could Only Remember My Name", and a gazillion others...

Kanye - MBDTF
Nas- Illmatic

What's going on- Marvin Gaye..almost goes as a mix album the way the songs blend into one another. So relevant to today too.
Another I've played to death over the years is Joni Mitchell- Blue. Just a sublimely chilled album.
Many more, but these two I think I have probably played the most in my lifetime so far

Since my favourite 2 have already been picked by loads of people, I'll go for...
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Portishead - Dummy
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Portishead - Dummy

Dark Side of the Moon has got to be my first pick. Millionaires by James is great when you've got some sativa running through your system.

The b-side of the sit down single is Live at the Manchester Gmex. On headphones is still the best crowd singing of a song to date.

Never heard Dub Side of the Moon until today- bloody great๐- so big thanks for the heads up!!!

Wow!!!! Just WOW!
Dubside of the moon ๐
Amazing..... how this has escaped me is beyond me ๐คทโโ๏ธ I love darkside that much I have the prism tattood on my chest

utterly brilliant albumn Dubside, saw them do the 10th aniversary tour playing the whole albumn live its was epic.

I can safely say that Appetite for Destruction is the album I've listened to the most. Carousel by Subcircus has had well over 20 years love from me as well

"The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd: Released in 1973, this album is considered a masterpiece and one of the greatest progressive rock albums of all time. It features a conceptually unified theme and explores various philosophical and existential topics. Tracks like "Money," "Time," and "Us and Them" are widely loved.
"Thriller" by Michael Jackson: Released in 1982, "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time and a cultural phenomenon. It revolutionized pop music, blending various genres and delivering iconic hits such as "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and the title track "Thriller."

Dark Side of the Moon, best album ever, bar none. 50 years old this year, same as me!
950 weeks on Billboard 200 chart! 750 of them consecutive!!
Lee 'Scratch" Perry - Open the Gate. Sadly deleted and expensive to buy, but can be downloaded online. 2 CDs of heavyweight 12". Jimmy Cliff got me listening to reggae, this album burnt it into my soul.

2 is incredibly difficult, and I can't be the only one with eclectic tastes and a butterfly mind where these will all change regularly anyway. So I'll go with:
Ash - 1977
and
Kent - Hagnesta Hill (available in English and Swedish, so surely I get to choose both?)

I once worked on a tour of Denmark and Kent played , your comment is the only other time Iโve heard of them lol

That's so cool! Is this weird? The most unbelievably amazing band that almost no-one has ever heard of, or so it seems. They filled stadia in Scandinavia.

There are loads of full albums Iโll listen toโฆnaming just two, well the two most recent ones that spring to mind for me Acid Bath-when the kite string pops and Oasis - definitely maybe not a bad track on either one.

Hard to pick just 2, and I see a nearly all male list below...so:
Baduizm - Erykah Badu
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush
Midtown 120 Blues - DJ Sprinkles (couldn't leave this utter classic out!)
Baduizm - Erykah Badu
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush

My picks:
The Velvet Underground & Nico - just a classic album. Spaceman 3 "The Perfect Prescription" with an honorable mention for Ode to Street Hassle
The Velvet Underground & Nico - just a classic album. Spaceman 3 "The Perfect Prescription" with an honorable mention for Ode to Street Hassle

Muse - Absolution( regardless if you like the band the story of the end of the world from start to end is amazing!)
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

This is tough but going on repeats alone I reckon these pip it,
Riding with the king - Clapton and BB King
We're new here - Jamie xx and Gil Scott-Heron

We're new here - Jamie xx and Gil Scott-Heron

So glad someone has shouted out Jamie xx, amazingly talented music producer the first album with him and his sister The Xx I canโt even guess how many times Iโve listened to it, song 1 known as intro is a work of art. Iโm gutted they or he have released so little but sadly he probably earns more producing for other artists who are more mainstream?
Not heard of your other suggestions but will check them out based on your clearly good taste !

Script of the Bridge by The Chameleons. Some friends told me they would bury the album with me, I'd go to sleep listening to it.
Scary Monsters by Bowie, time of life thing for me 'Teenage Wildlife'.

I adore this period of post punk before brit pop came along and fudged it. IMO lol
Swamp Thing from Strange Times is another brilliant song.

Hi Mate, Got 'Script of the bridge' playing again this weekend. The album seems more poignant than ever.
Light up and have a good weekend.

Hey bud, I'm well thanks and intend to have a good weekend, it's my bday on Monday so have started early with some very nice and mood lifting Cap Junky, then for some stand up comedy me thinks.
Script of the Bridge will always be applicable to me. Finding some albums feels like finding treasure and it's one of those albums, as is From the lions mouth by The Sound, which if you haven't heard I profoundly recommend. Have a good'n mate and tell me, what are you smoking on matey and have you chonged anything recently with strong euphoric/giggly affects?

Happy Birthday mate.
I will be listening to that recommendation later today.
Smoking 'red apple' Leb, 'apple tart' Maroc hashish and just got some 'Sunset Sherbet' and 'Billy Kimber' bud, all amazing.

Hi Mr, Really liked that album, how did I miss that? Do you like 'sad lovers and giants' and 'and also the trees' ?

Never heard of either band before this shout. I listened to Epic Garden Music this morning on a hike and it's fantastic love the use of the keyboard and you can really hear early elements of shoegaze taking shape on tracks like "Lope" and "ART".. This is a very good band crisp.. Try listening to Soul Mining and Dusk by The The and tell me what you think. Anyway stay cool compadre.

dEUS The Ideal Crash and Pretty Hate Machine NIN. Never tire of those two... There are many more but these two popped out my cheesebox first.

Dre 2001 and Fleetwood Mac Rumours.
Fleetwood Mac especially. Playing that album on a good car stereo on a nice road in the summer. Great times....๐๐ถ

Just 2 โฆthats tricky!!

Dre's 2001 deffo top 10 for me. Its tough a one, but Hybrid Theory and Slim Shady LP are what I settled on after starring at my PC screen for 20 mins internally debating the question lol The first Buffy soundtrack sat on repeat for about 3 years in my teens too haha

So recently discovered an artist called honestav and his album hara-kiri is one of these albums for sure

Reading the comments, weโre such a bunch of mixed people here haha (GOOD) I think I saw every genre. I donโt really have 1 album I like but itโs one song from a few if you get me.

For me it's got to be lupe fiasco lasers album deluxe edition. And Hopsin No shame album. Can listen to every song on both and never get bored

Lemon Haze | Northern Lights | Cheese which old school UK strain is your favourite?
Lemy Haze has got to be my pick I remember it was the first time I really had owt that smelled of anything other thanโฆ weed

Skunk no.1 is still around as is most of these Oldskool strains, apart from power plant I've yet to find. Someone needs to re establish that amazing strain here ๐

Smoking on some northern lights this past week shit is strong asf. Do love a good cheese tho...

Nothing will ever compare to 2008 blue cheese for me ๐๐ been tempted to give growing some blue cheese a go

It's got to be psychosis for me. My friends dad back in roughly 2011 used to get cuts and bang 3 plants out every 3/4 months. The smell was unreal, a really deep stanky cat piss smell. A 3.5 in my pocket would stink out the whole house no question and the high was immense, would floor all my mates who would try. Still trying to find someone who grows the original, my friends dad moved since and I've never been able to find it

I'm not sure I ever had a good Northern Lights from the streets, but Haze and Cheese were both really popular back in the day. It's a tough choice ๐ค I'm going to go with Cheese, only because the best haze I had in my youth was in Amsterdam, and Cheese was everywhere locally at one point. Good times

Definitely not lemon haze for me. I find it too heady. I've had blue cheese a while back which was a lovely trip down memory lane as was the white widow I wrote about recently. I like it when some of the old strains pop up on LB and genuinely think many have interesting characteristics we've lost from lots of the modern kush / gelato crossed strains.

S8 for me which was an old skool clone only cut of white rhino that was about Kent and Sussex in the mid to late 90s. Stickiest, skunkiest, stinkyest bit I ever had. Any old skool heads remember this bad boy?

Cheese or Jack Herer, used to love these two. The strench from the cheese and taste being so pungent was so nice. The jack herer pineyness was also great for me, loved it.

forgot to add Jack Herer i have a great memory of when me and my mate got a half of that for a Lake District trip

25% fees buying bitcoin and completing purchase :((
Bought 7g of my favourite Green for ยฃ80 after buying ยฃ110 worth of bitcoin I was left with a tenner so thatโs 25% on my purchase :(( I thought Coinbase had stopped their astronomical fees. Really wanted something for the holidays so after being very hesitant I went through with the purchase. Any suggestions for easy platforms that donโt require a passport.

I donโt think itโs any particular exchange- the fees are set by the miners and they are having a field dayโฆ๐

Yep, this is being caused by the increased congestion on the chain from ordinals. But at least you can play Doom straight from the Blockchain, silver linings.

Just paid around ยฃ60 in fees on a ยฃ120 transaction. Partly my own fault for leaving the Xmas extra until now but still!!! I feel like this place won't be economically viable for most people if we are forced to stick with BTC for too much longer. People have been crying out for alternative payment options for sooooo long now. Maybe if it starts to impact LB`s bottom line things will change, who knows? Between that & Transaxe being down today so I had to jump onto Society to complete the order. The process is actually pretty stressful waiting with crossed fingers to see if your transaction is actually going to complete at the moment. PLEASE LB for the love of Green consider alternatives to BTC as it's barely viable anymore!

It bloody sucksโฆ This is why I donโt buy here any more.. it breaks my heart as I loved this siteโฆ I miss posting about strains Iโve had ๐ข as well miss supporting all my favourite vendorsโฆ
Iโm lucky I can buy from other platforms where things like LTC are acceptedโฆ. but not everyone has that optionโฆ
I REALLY REALLY REALLY miss this place..
PLEASE BORGS!!! SORT THIS PAYMENT OPTION SHIT OUT!!!

Nah feel that, thereโs a good engagement on here itโs a shame that itโs still tied down to one currency though not been able to buy off here for a good month gotta get that shitty mall weed ๐

So this is 17:48 on 16/12/23.
As a test I just looked at a dummy send of ยฃ47. I have ยฃ85 in the wallet and it won't let me send as I don't have enough for the fees, as they're currently 540 sat/vB for high priority! That's nearly double what I've ever seen it reach. Guess I'm not buying any Christmas gingerbread and Nutella!

BTC development team do not want BItcoin to be used as currency. This site must look at alts if it wants to provide an effective service.

This site should add BCH as an option. It's the same as BTC but has fees under a few cents and sends very quickly just like BTC used to before it stopped scaling.

They want ยฃ46 to send to send ยฃ106 at the moment on bitpanda!

Sorry make that ยฃ62.50 now!

ยฃ100 to btc via moonpay and then to transaxe leaves me ยฃ60 for weed ... it ain't gonna b a very green Xmas ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

yeah its a bit silly now. I remember it was sweet with paybis but then uk gov forced some kind of change and they left. i was using simplex to electrum after and they charged about 15 and 4 to make the payment from electrum to LB. I decided to upload my id to kraken, but its not any better, they charge 3.50 intitial then 13.60 to withdraw then 4ยฃ from wallet to LB and worse is a 72 hour holding on first buy so you have to double up or wait. I'm relatively new to this but it thought it was bad. think the banks (which is also the gov) are trying to bring it down by some age old economic fuckery.

Wait until BTC fees go over ยฃ100 this site risks ending then if the team here doesn't act soon by offering better scalable coins for buying with.

just to say simplex charges are up to 37ยฃ!!!! man thats obnoxious. also withdrawing from kraken is an actual skill cause you need a defined amount for your wallet to gen an address, the address must be new on kraken, and then verified, and in that time the decimals have changed and its no longer the same amount. fucking stupid. I was raging when trying on friday but got there in about 10 tries.

I know it's not ideal but what are the risks of sending bitcoin directly from coinbase to the transaxe rather than to my own wallet first? Looking at close to ยฃ40 in fees to send it to my wallet and then transaxe atm

If it doesn't sort itself out in the next 24 hours I'm withdraw my coin and it's back to seeing big chin (to be fair his doob is alright and cheap). Just gonna miss the selection and convenience of this place.

I really like zengo and buying bitcoin with banxa try it out , I'm not sure about the passport thing , I probably uploaded a driving license or something , but I havent had any problems in a year now

Itโs been posted a few times but have a look at bitaccelerate.
Fees for my latest transaction were ยฃ221. I chose 24hr send which lowered them to ยฃ15. I posted TID to bitaccellerate and transaction was completed within a minute at the reduce fee rate.

I use crypto.com and the fees has always been the same around ยฃ20 no matter how much Iโm sending. I know itโs a lot but I try to keep orders to a decent amount to compensate for that.

What signs of doom do we share with the Roman Empire?
The rich are ruling for the rich and that only leads to revolution. I've been sharpening my
pitchfork for years.
i think so but wars are getting more like tv spectacles now, orders of magnitude fewer deaths

A thug is going to shake you down the easiest way he can find but the game always stays the same: You NEED our protection.

Really don't mean this in any kind of shitty way but overwhelming numbers of people moving from more primitive areas into Rome is like what's happening now in Europe, North America and Eastern China.

Well in the UK its the willingness to stab each other in the back for the purpose of power and sheer personal greed no matter what the cost to the minions

yes but the word primitive is offensive for a reason, it correlates with a set of principles that assumes information loss is irrelevant.
you of all people.
you of all people.

It's an Empire folks that means most of the world is together on this. And the provinces will find the new heights in the future!

Becoming to confident in our ability to defeat any enemy and to greedy to understand our limitations.

The rich are ruling for the rich and that only leads to revolution. I've been sharpening my
pitchfork for years.
pitchfork for years.

The loss of traditional values in the face of a new religion, it was Christianity that scuppered the Roman Empire these days we have the new religions of woke and climate change doing it for us.

Rome used Christianity to make a whole different way of dictatorship. They didn't vanish they reinvented themselves as the Roman Catholic faith.

interesting and as fucked up as it sounds those both seem like a better basis for god than a vengeful patriarch

Northern lights is my favourite as it's the first proper weed I tried when in dam during the 90s and it wiped me out

Fucking love a jam doughnut me - so it'll come as no surprise that I'll go with the, Jelly Doughnut!
Good luck all!
Good luck all!

I'd like to try the Jelly Donut. Anything crossed with Sunset Sherbet is bound to be tasty :)

Hi mate, great competition. I would prefer the Coma. I love heavy indica strains for nighttime use.

Biscotti Cream is amazing, if you can get it. The Grape Cream Cake part of the cross really wiped me out in a JB pack recently. From your menu though Coma seems likely to have the closest effects I'm after.

Sounds intriguing! I'm working, sleeping and smoking mainly mate, but generally alright. Hope things are good with you too. Still think fondly of those fresh truffles you had the Christmas before last.

Blue frootz, The One and IMO one of the best they do is white gummiez but don't think I've seen anyone with that one on here yet but could be wrong.

Now you've guessed it, we hit 1000 reviews thanks to everyone here at LB and are now giving away $1000 store credit to whoever can guess the exact amount of reviews weโll have on Monday 5th May 2025 at 12PM UK time.
Competition rules:
โถ Last entry will be on the 2nd May 2025 at 3PM.
โถ All entries must be time and date stamped.
โถ We will be taking note of everyone who entered and their entry on the 2nd May at 3PM, so no EDITs after this time.
โถ Only one entry per person.
โถ If multiple participants guess the exact number of reviews we have on the 5th May at 12PM, the $1000 store credit will be split equally amongst all winning entries.
โถ If nobody guesses the correct amount of reviews, we'll treat the 2 closest guesses as the winner and split the prize evenly.
โถ The winner or winners will be contacted directly once we have finalise the entries.
Best of luck! ๐

Also, we couldn't reply to everyone since LB doesn't allow over a certain amount of comments at a given time, nonetheless all entries have been received!
We hope everyone has a great weekend everyone and we'll see you once we have finalised the results ๐

Well done Wizards. That's gone fast.
My guess is 1134. I was actually quite close last time. Maybe this will be my moment.

ISP Blocking LB Images
Hey folks,
After a bit of troubleshooting I've figured out that my ISP is blocking LB images. All other websites are working properly. Has anyone else encountered this, and do you know how to resolve?

I have been using this browser with VPN enabled on it.

I'm using society on tor since littlebiggy never loads anymore to me on tails and most images don't load here either.

I can confirm this comp was not an April fools joke!
TGT came through with a package of good stuff and nearly a million sats ($777) for the wallet!
A man of his word and a vendor iโve trusted for over a year, I donโt think iโve had a single issue in ~10 orders. If any new biggaโs stumble upon this post and are hesitant to take the plunge, youโll be in safe hands with TGT!
Thanks again ๐
