The search for the perfect hash vape continues but….

Some people argue that the most popular battery vapes don’t gat hot enough and there may be some truth in this depending on the hash. Soft hashes used in dosing capsules or with cotton bacon to protect the oven work just fine in devices like the Mighty, Crafty or PAX3. Hardhashes can be ground up with some weed.

Butane (ie using a torch lighter) allows you to go for real near combustion temperatures but that comes with a learning curve. The DynavapM and the Vapman are the best examples imo…

Hashes respond better in conduction biased devices

Technically you can do the cotton bacon thing in anything from a yocan (s)hit to an arizer air to a DC gen 2 and have reasonable results

Thanks for this im glad ive asked this as i was looking at the mighty and tiny mighty but don't really want to be limited to what type of hash I can get to use in it.

I'm sure lots of people on here will have better advice but I use a Pax 2 and wrap the hash in a bit of black raw paper so it doesn't gunk up the chamber. Once it's good and vaped I then eat the hash....

Oooh just looked on chameleon glass and looking at the Moroccan hash water pipe bowl, is that what you was on about? Reading through the description of how it works it sounds right up my street. Do you have one?

If you’re using the vape to quit joints. I would suggest something process driven to replace the process of rolling.

Just so happens that in my opinion it’s a two for 1 with the dynavap.

I only use hash with my dynavap but recently a good mate made some dosing caps with hash and bud and it was really nice. A nice change had some good sessions with them. As previously it had just been dyna only.

Cheers for this, ive seen the dynavap before and didnt like the idea of having to manually heat it up but after hearing everyone's comments im going to look into it a bit more. Ive never been one for joints im a bong man but getting older now and need to give my lungs a break.

You should mate. I use it all the time best bit just get a WPA and still have your bongs but just no combustion. That was your still getting your bong hit. I will say that I prefer the small bubbler’s that the bongs you need a step ladder for lol 😂

For hash the best thing would be a dynavap m, the downside is that it looks a little like a crack pipe. It's a manual heat up with a lighter rather than battery powered. The issue with using an electronic vape is getting high enough temp to "melt" the hash. You need at least 200 to do anything but 210-220 works best. I use a Mighty + at 210 and love it but get a better taste with the dynavap. For hash in the Mighty +, I use a dosing capsule and some cotton bacon. When I'm vaping bud, I just use a dosing capsule.

Still the hardest hitting device out there by a country mile.

My gravity bong is a robinsons bottle with a hole in the bottom and a bowl in the lid so doesn't look the most glamorous thing in the world. I use these because i find them the most effective thing to use to get the most out of my smoke. Ive got a glass water bong but i can smoke 4-5gs a day easily through that and I find that half the stuff in the water isnt burnt so I would say that i probably only smoke 60% of what i load into the bowl if that makes sense. With the gravity bong i need half as much and get so much more stoned off one or 2. Only thing is it gets so much resin round the mouthpiece real quickly and you can sometimes get it on your lipss or teeth which is lovely lol. Also get nostalgic using gravity bongs and hot knifes!

I remember looking ages ago forn something a bit fancy and remember seeing something for £500 or something and stopped looking (just looked and its called the Stündenglass Gravity Infuser and is £540). I cant justify paying that when i can pay £1.25 for a new Robinsons bottle and get 1.5l of juice in it too

If it’s a take out the house vape. Which you can do of course then the dyna might not be what your looking for as it’s not exactly discrete

This was one of the reasons at first i didnt really take to the idea of the dynavap (being able to use it covertly outside) but im ok using carts when im out and about.

Dynavap with single flame jet torch for hash and you can't go wrong. Not too different from the ritual of joint rolling but the flavour you get from bud and hash is night and day compared to smoking. Also the Dynavap ecosystem is huge, so many aftermarket sellers bringing out fresh new stems, induction heaters, tips and bongs.

The other thing to be aware of is that vaping is very different to smoking, when I first tried vaping, I enjoyed the high but missed the "bite" of smoking a joint. For a replacement for smoking, I think that 510 cartridges are probably a better option like are available from Doctor Terpy.

Looking back I can see that quite a lot of the time it’s was the nicotine I was craving but what’s the point of smoking I may as well have a joint.

You’re also right about the instant hit from combusting but I now realise how much gear I wasted in joints.

My gear lasts far longer vaping than smoking especially hash.

I thought I was craving cannabis but, as you said, most of the time it's nicotine. You don't realise until you've stopped smoking.

I agree with this completely, i haven't smoked with tobacco for about 15 years but i remember when i stopped using tobacco and it felt like somthing was missing. Also smoking with tobacco gives a different high than smoking pure, its less enjoyable imo.

If i smoke ingo through a half oz in 5 days or so but if i use hot knifes it lasts considerably longer so hopefully vaping will save me some money in the long run.

Agree too but would add those vapes that get really hot or heat soak (taroma 360) get very close to a combustion experience. I've got a taroma 360 head and it's too much for me nowadays.

Totally agree mate mine are totally feral too, the amount of times I've got up in the middle of the night to check my ball vape is off. There is a Dani fusion 2.0 coming out I believe and the tempest from mad heaters looks truly epic (butane ball vape).

Yea spoke to a few people who have tried the tempest and needless to say no negative coming from them.

I enjoy smoking but im coughing a lot more recently and can feel my lungs and chest need a break so im not going to miss the hit i get as i cough nearly every bong i have now.

Maybe a Dani fusion and use a bit of degummed hemp fibre. You want something you can get pretty hot. Ball vape like a taroma would work too, even a tiny might. Anything you can push the heat on a bit.

I've got one mate, absolutely love it. Go for the fusion, it's got a larger chamber than a dynavap, you can fully extract in one or build up temp and sip those terps.

I had my eye on one. Someone was selling it and a good price but at some point you have to rain it in. Unfortunately 🙄

My mates a dyna fanatic but we had a good conversation about all the costs involved in being a dyna “collector” and he had some high end gear and one off’s. That are very expensive but the crux of the conversation was that he sold 90% for tools. Anyway the point is that it’s all great and love having them but the all have the same end result. Just different ways to get there.

Got a crafty+ Works a treat. I wouldn’t bother with the cotton, just fill the capsule up. Got a Dyna, also works a treat. I would check out all the puffco range, not tried them, but they all look next level. Would be my next purchase for sure.
