I tried uphold last weekend but was shocked at the fees of around £5.00 for a $45 payment, they also take the fee out of the amount you're sending so it makes it really difficult to know how much to send, I prefer coinbase, much simpler and straightforward.

Used Uphold in the end and I have to say, I'm actually quite happy with it.

Just thought I'd let you know that it seems the fee is fixed regardless of how much you're sending (currently 0.0003 or £5.12) so I understand it's not great for smaller amounts but I buy in slightly larger amounts so it works out ok. Usually £100 - £200 range.

Also, if you type the amount to send in the lower (receiving amount) box instead of the top one, it automatically adjusts the sending amount in the top box to allow for the fee. I over sent just in case but the vendor received all that was sent so they'll get a little bonus this time.

Ultimately the money went from my bank account to the vendor within 2 minutes via the wallet (about 25 including network time) and cost me 5% of my order in fees all included. That's not too bad.

Well that's a pain in the arse. Im used to it being added separately. My Coinbase account has been stuck in "verifying" mode for months, they can't even tell me why. They closed my account and told me to open a new one but it didn't change anything.

Do you have to guess what you're sending and overestimate or do you just have to manually adjust what your sending to account for a known fee? Im running out of options.

Oh and did you use faster payments or card? Fast etc?

I did a normal payment (transferred in by card then out to the LB BTC wallet) and it took just over an hour. I didn't use it for the subsequent payment as it still wanted to charge the same fee for $5 or whatever it was. I won't be using it again, not impressed.

Your vendor will see you've paid in full. Then he will mark it as sent. Your all good as payment goes

Sorry I think you misunderstand my issue. Because Local Bitcoins has shut down, they're only allowing a single wallet withdrawal for the total amount within it. I can't send a precise amount. If an overpayment is not an issue in anyway and will go through as normal then it's fine. Works out 3 or 4 quid over. Just didn't want it to get missed because it needs a manual review or something because it won't match the expected amount for the order.

What’s your budget and how much are you after? Star dog seems a little rare on here these days but there are lots of cheaper options. I have had many orders and have also had the more expensive ones too. Happy to point you in a good direction if needed 👍 if it has to be stardawg then I’d go for gentlemen dealers. I’m pretty sure this was $55 + an eighth before the recent price cuts. Now $37.50. The weed they sell is top notch in my opinion.

I've been getting a couple of oz of shake at a time and fancied a change from the inevitable shaky taste in my concentrates. My budget is likely a little less than £200 and I'm not expecting anything like the 3 to 4 oz of shake I'd normally get for that butt just the best for value within that range. I'm more than open to suggestions if there are any hidden gems lying around. The glue stains do very well, they just tend to be dearer for what you really get out of them.

I buy £50 ounces on the street to make my own and it's all bud not a strong strain but great for RSO or BHO oil , I usually smoke star dawg £30 1/8, £50 Q etc smoked it for 7 years my area is flooded with it lol

Mate check out Green Cat he has an ounce of CookieDawg buds/shake mix for $100 but look at the reviews you will get 3/4s bud and the rest is real shake not trim! :) All his strains are good and he always puts up ounce bags from the end of his listings, definitely recommend taking a look :)

Yeah mate plenty :) The best out and out StarDawg on here was always RB's no question but I haven't had it for a while it was so consistent though I'd be surprised if it has changed so I'd still highly recommend that. TGT AlienDawg is also a banger that they have listed a lot. Pistach often has cookie dawg similarish level to Green Cats but pistach might send you gelato instead lol :) I haven't tried any of the newer sellers that have commented but for value for money that mixed ounce from GC will be hard to beat.

Right, so, of the 2 oz I bought from Green Cat, about 8g was "buddy bud" like obvious parts of whole buds about the size of a maoam pinball and larger (I happen to have some close by lol). Another 19g of smaller and tiny buds with several of those grams being made up of little dense bb- like buds, leaving just over an oz of "trimmy" shake. Not full of fan leaves and shit but not exactly "buddy" either in what remains, a definite trim taste to it in a straight but the flavours still come through, just not like the bud and most importantly, the high is there.
With all said and done, in my mind, I've basically paid the same price in total for the oz of bud I received (2x$100 for 2x shake pack vs $210oz bud), taken a hit in quality compared to the primo bud but gained an oz of shake to make the difference up. I'm happy with that as I'm confident I'll get about 4g of concentrate from it.

I've had a few of the budget strains n the strawberry banana is the best yet.
Ordered a half Oz to try n after having a jay immediately ordered an Oz n would've ordered more if funds allowed!

It's looking like I may put an order in with dinc to be honest, just have to try and decide between the banana and the haze as they'd likely both be good for different ailments. Still looking at my options but heavily leaning.

Many vendors don't seem to realise or don't care that there's a clear cut difference between trim and shake.
One lot literally smelled liked compost and went in the bin so I'm dubious about shake in general now. Might give the bud a go though.

Their comms are good mate if you let them know what you're after they'll sort you out, the mixed ozs of bud/shake are from listings they've had up recently so I think those will be genuine shake with tiny buds, the smalls they have up would just be normal size for most other sellers no popcorn or crushed bits and they have really good budget/b-grade from time to time as well, I've had a lot of good deals of them so they're worth keeping an eye on imo mate hope you find something! :) I'll be hunting bargains myself next week after throwing all my money away this month, stash jar is taking a pasting lol

For example DIUK/Dinc have Strawberry Amnesia and Strawberry Haze listings, one twice the price of the other. Unfortunately I have no idea without trying both as to whether or not it's a false economy buying twice as much of a lesser product for half the price as ultimately, I'm looking for whichever I can extract the most from and not really the quality of the flower this time.

If you want proper bang for your buck then hans has shake, far more bang for your buck than the budget strains listed on here.

We do offer NDD and would usually give a 95% rate of successful delivery times there are always those small percentages that slip through the cracks or take a bit of extra time but lately Royal Mail has been so hit and miss we would estimate it would be closer to a 50% chance they will deliver on time,

Unfortunately at this time of year its a game of chance with the delivery days between Christmas hangovers and covid you never know how many staff call in sick or how that effects things behind the scenes, we wish we had some better news for you but we would be sceptical of any vendor that gives a guarantee of NDD at this time of year, we do hope whoever you go with it arrives on time :)

Actually, for the buyer the coin release date is fairly irrelevant. You can contact Escrow and flag an issue whenever you want (the earlier the better arguably) and you simply withdraw the dispute if it all comes good. Escrow will run down the clock in any event to give the vendor every opportunity to resolve and if the coin gets released that’s not your problem. People think the moment they raise a dispute they have irrevocably stained the reputation of the seller and embroiled themselves in conflict. Escrow are much more chilled than this- they contact the seller and seek a resolution.
To conclude: if you have waited too long and have zero or dodgy comms flag it to Escrow ASAP. There is no stigma and you can always retract when the smiling Postie hands you your package of glory! ;)

Granted Im new to LB but Ive tried opening up a dispute on an order from UK vendor (UK to EU delivery, recorded untracked) 3 days ago, 2 days before autorelease, and Escrow still hasnt opened my chat/mail. Funds are now released and no package in sight. Vendor offered a re-ship but how do I even know they even sent it if theres no tracking? They said they will now have tracking but Im still waiting. My dumbass had to order from UK and I know how brexit fucked it up. This shit is hella frustrating ... waiting on my first 2 orders for 20days now. Ok, the other one is from the middle east and it will take awhile but still...

This probably doesn't help but I've dealt with Escrow in the past and have actually received 100% refund but this particular situation affected a dozen or two buyers and was mass reported. You can dispute BEFORE the coin is released. This is the point of escrow

Escrow is two weeks so that's well enough time to sort with your vendor or contact transaxe chat for dispute

You are correct that escrow Suisse says 16 days on their page, but help Borg says 12, and I can tell you 12 works.

Even after funds have released escrow can and will refund.
