Firstly I would like to say that I have enjoyed fine hashes for almost 30 years and I have been enjoying extracts like Shatter,wax, live resin etc for almost 10 years....but I had never tried Piatella before today. Of course I had been very keen to try it from the moment I first heard about it a year or so ago. I had seen it once or twice before on Little Biggy but at £100+ for a single gram, that was out of my price range.
I have used Myconauts quite a few times recently for extracts and despite costing an incredibly low price for this site, they have always been top notch. So when I saw that he had some Piatella style hash for around £45 a gram I thought I would bite the bullet and finally give it a try.
Firstly it is no where near the same yellow colour that is shown with the product listing. Im guessing that pic was with a crazy flash or something lol. Anyway mine is pale grey kinda colour, pretty similar to how most Piatella looks on the youtube vids but a bit more pale/lighter if anything.

After opening the tub and admiring the color for a fewseconds lol i then gave it a careful prod with my finger and was surprised to find it harder than i expected. It's was fairly solid at room temp but still easy to pull apart from your fingers.
It has a nice citrusy/lemon aroma to it and I noticed after handling it my fingers also smelt lemony for quite a while :)

Aite so I tried it in a dab rig with cooler than usual banger coz I wanted to get the full range of terps. Heated for 45 secs and let it cool for just over a minute.
Yeaaaaaah lovely lemony taste. Lemony tastes come in many forms tho of course and this one I would describe as a similar lemon to the Bitter Lemon fizzy drinks Nomsayin? Very pleasant.

It delivered a very solid hit to me. I stumbled down the road to the local shop about 45 mins later and was still high AF and can remember chuckling at some random shit whilst inside the shop. I think that first dab kept me high for almost an hour & a half....a bit longer than I expected.

I saw a few peeps arguing in Big Roo's Piatella thread over if this stuff is even Piatella or not....I think RedEye Jedi summed it up pretty much perfectly really. Piatella is more a brand name for cold cured water hash and what Myconauts is selling is a very good example of cold cure water hash.

I very much enjoyed the few dabs I have had so far and I will be saving the rest of it for special occasions. If you are like me and have wanted to try cold cured water hash/Piatella for ages but been put off by the crazy £100+ prices then Myconauts £45 a gram offering could be for you!
It's hard to imagine someone not being happy with the product it self and a gram of this stuff certainly isn't like having a gram of flower hah. You only need to use a teeny bit of it in a dab or spliff.

This has gotta be hands down the smoothest smoke i have had the privilege of smoking, as soon as I popped the container your hit with this dark aroma of sweet and deep chocolate scent and a play dough smoothness that makes for a happy smoking experience, really rich on the nose and tounge on the exhale with the sweetness of hazelnut spread on the intake,
