This customer is a scammer

His scam didn’t work so he hit us with the typical 1/10 slander.

He claims to have been missing 28g Growlers Icecaps in his order, all I did was ask him to upload the unboxing video and show me.

No response for over a week and then decided to offload the 3 reviews of 9/10, 5/10 and 1/10.

We have never ever scammed anyone for you to be our first, currently running a $2500 giveaway but apparently we scammed you for $250 where you didn’t record the unboxing and didn’t even bother replying.

These are the facts;

Original order was:
28g Icecaps
28g Bubble Hash
56g Green Crack

Vendor couldn't supply the Bubble Hash so I swapped that for another 28g Icecaps.

Revised order was:
56g Icecaps
56g Green Crack

Order received was;
28g Icecaps
56g Green Crack

I was missing the 28g Icecaps I swapped for the Bubble Hash.

I didn't make an 'unboxing video' and have since seen it's part of the vendors T&C's. I had no basis to dispute the matter further, so saw no reason to contact the vendor again.

Those are the facts and perhaps it wasn't done on purpose by the vendor and using 'scammer' was a bit strong.
However, that is exactly what happened, my conscience is clear as I KNOW I didn't get what I paid for.

Try Bittylicious it's straight forward and it doesn't have different networks which you had problems with in your other post.

It's a bit different from Kraken or Coinbase.

You give them your Bitcoin address, pay with your card or whatever and they'll send the coins to your own Bitcoin wallet, from there you can send here.

You could send directly to an order address here instead of your own wallet first but I don't recommend that long term.

That’s interesting. How did CB know it was a LB vendor?. I send to exodus wallet, then send to lb vendor…but am interested that they shut you down because they somehow knew it was lb vendor. Maybe it was more to do with you transacting with someone whose acc perhaps looked suspicious because of amount on money coming in or something rather than them being lb vendor.?….which vendor was it?

I stopped smoking tobacco nearly 15 years ago due to a near death illness. I now use oil concentrates. I do miss smoking bud and the smell if i'm honest. But oil not leaving a trail in the air is a bonus/discreet.

I've recently started with live resin disposable/cart, the convenience is great however the flavor cannot compare to nice bud in the dynavap (or my electric dry herb vape). I'm 31 not 50 but have been a canna enthusiast since I was 13, over the past 18 years my approach has always evolved. Biggest shifts were when I cut out tobacco from spliffs at 20 and then cut smoking completely for vaping about 4 years ago (cannot smoke at all now). Having 2 kids also changed my consumption a lot. The dynavap allowed me to consumer daily and still only consume like an 8th a month!

Hi Dopey - just FYI, the new review system now allows you to leave the 'days to arrive' box blank. If you do that, it appears without any timescale so there's a good chance that's what happened with your review, not someone reviewing before they've received the item to try and sabotage you. You'll notice it happens with 10/10 reviews as well.

I've just amended a review I left a few days ago for another vendor and it allowed me to remove the time to arrive and then save it again. It now shows the same as your screenshot.

Interestingly, it's also reverted to showing 'reviewed 0 days ago' when I first left the review a few days ago so looks like that resets if any edits are made.

Hello guys just thought I would post a topic , I did warn thai-lands I would be doing this .. 5 weeks ago now I placed a 1000$ order, he didn't send it till almost a week later at which point I was given a tracking number 1/3 .. I requested the other tracking number which was eventually given 2 weeks later , 8 times I asked for the third tracking number and was ignored , and have been ignored ever since .

No parcels arrived

TRANSACTION FULLY DISPUTED NOW and I ask anyone else with any issues to dispute there orders with this vendor if they have had any issues.

This is the only seller I have had to ever dispute against , a little message from Thai out of respect would of been appreciated but no .. didn't get any of that .

I hope anyone else with issues has disputed there order and given his extremly high dispute rating they will get there funds back .

You know what is strange I ordered a single zip of tee time and it turned up - thats all I ordered. Recieved it about 4 weeks ago all good and reviewed. Strangely today I got a letter from Border Force saying they had intercepted a package with over 50g of drugs in it from Thailand. God knows what they did - they sent me another 50g without ordering - what is going on?? Now I have a black mark against my address for something I didnt even order - shocking.

My tracking hasn't moved since the 13th but just got home today to a missed parcel and the tracking updated to a missed delivery. They do say only order 4 Oz for your safety TBF.

I had a reminder on my phone to dispute on the second to last possible day and every time they have delivered before ive had to press the button. I think people press it soon as it becomes available and I honestly dont understand why.

Just when I thought I was out of trouble those mofos are at it again!

So those of you might remember that one year ago my UK Bank started to block my BTC purchases made using a well-known Exchange.

After much pain and suffering I ended up using a UK FCA approved Exchange.

I was alright for a year and this month I spent a bit more than normal as I wanted to stash up for the Winter/Xmas.

It looks like I attracted the wrong kind of attention as my Exchange emailed me this:

Please clarify your connection and the purpose of the following transfers that you made from his wallet to the following BTC addresses:

Please also clarify if these addresses belong to his private wallet or are part of a service and provide supporting documents, (for example screenshots) that corroborate your explanation and explain the crypto strategy.

Please also note that we have temporally limited your wallet in the interim.

To continue using and enjoying our services, please provide the requested information above within the next 28 days.

One thing worth mentioning is that that specific UK FCA approved exchange forces you to transfer BTC into their wallet FIRST no matter what.

So far I would just use their wallet to send BTC to vendors on LB without going through another wallet.

I'm interested to hear from other biggas who might have the same experience recently and would of course appreciate any tips or insights they can share.

I've just replied to my exchange claiming that these transactions were transfers towards my other wallets given that they locked me in with their own.

I think that what is happening to me is to be expected from all FCA approved exchanges.

These are the new travel rules imposed onto exchanges by the UK Gov.

Maybe you are hinting at application of the travel rule.

I've been doing some research and reading on what is happening and I agree that this very much look like it.

I saw that - thanks to the usual culprits - the law has been changed and has kicked into effect this Autumn. I started this topic also as a warning because we might start seeing more of this stuff now that some kyc exchanges are being regulated.

I think the guidance state that the transaction should be blocked until the required information has been obtained about the nature/target of the transaction).

In my case this seems to have been done retroactively, they might have a threshold on the transaction amount which triggered their request for documents and/or explanation.

Either way I haven't heard back from them yet, I figured if they have the means to trace the transaction so far as to gather evidence to challenge my explanation I can always 1) pretend I got mixed up between transactions or 2) ask to have my money back or btc transferred somewhere else and close the account.

That or they might just be ticking the box and log my statement somewhere for compliance.
In which case my bluff won't be called...

Obviously I won't name the banks or exchanges but the way it work is this:

1) I transfer some punds form my UK bank into that FCA approved crypto exchange

2) Using the pounds I purchase some BTC on the Exchange web site

3) Then I have to transfer the BTCs to their Exchange smartphone wallet app (they won't let you transfer out of the exchange into third party wallets).

4) Then I place an order on LB and pay using their smartphone wallet app ( I know I cut corners by not transferring into another wallet but the fees would stack up fast!).

In this case they asked me what the last two succesful BTC sends I made using their wallet were for. No payments is pending or failed they are merely asking what/who the transactions were about/for.

Now they should not be able to trace the transactions all the way back to the receiver so I told them that these transfers were towards some of my other wallets but it's not true.

Obviously if they piss me off too much or are getting too nosy I will move onto another FCA approved BTC Exchange but frankly this is starting to piss me off.

We're small fish here (at least I am) so if they want to clamp down on money laundering and such things I can direct the UK Gov straight to their mates who they've handed out millions of our taxpayer moneis to (Baroness PPE and so on).

I just thought some other biggas had this lately - or were going to so I thought I'll share it here.

I was considering sending straight from CB last week to avoid fees, i ended up spending another £20 or so just to avoid it tho.
Transaxe always use the same address, at the beginning it's always the same, and if you check the blockchain you'll see a vast number of transactions are using transaxe.
always starts with bc1
At least your funds got sent, nothing worse.👍

All SegWit addresses start with 'bc1' or '3' friend. Legacy addresses start with '1'. It's not a Transaxe thing, it's not possible to change the first character(s) beyond what I just mentioned.

A new address is generated for every transaction, you can see this for yourself if you copy and paste the Transaxe address into blockchain.com, I believe this is a requirement for payment processors here.

You can dive deeper than that tho if you know what I mean.

As for the original post, Revolut, Monza etc are crypto-friendly and won't have an issue with you buying from Coinbase or Kraken.

If you change your bank and just use a non-KYC exchange like Banxa or Moonpay you will certainly have no issues.

I've been doing what you are trying to avoid. Can confirm I was charged over 35$ to buy and send 290$ worth. Ended up getting absolutely stroked as though they have just upped the fees for transferring to my own wallet and I'm considering my alternatives now. Help

I've been offline for a while.

They ended up closing my account as expected.

They then transferred what I had left into my bank account after converting the BTC in dollars.

I have now opened an account with Revolut and have transferred BTC to my Atomic Wallet.

I'm waiting on psychonauts to give me the green light to purchase their new vape ;-)

I've installed atomic wallet.

I then tried to transfer my BTCs from my eToro wallet to my AW but it got blocked.

Fri morning I then got this from eToro:

Since then they have removed th option to view/send BTC from my wallet.

Sounds like they're going to close my account.

What remains to be seen is whether I get my 300$ of BTC back.

You see BB I did my homework not to waste biggas's time and I found out that the UK Gov has ALSO changed the law so that BTCs can be seized:

I’ve noticed with atomic wallet there’s a ‘simplex fee’ aswell as an atomic fee so basically paying commission to two places. Also have you noticed you have to pay fees when network fees when buying on atomic but not on coinbase.

All of that combined with the network fee back up means it’s gonna cost me around 190 for a 150 order on here, not sure if I can justify 😩
