Yes it hard to talk about,as often people don’t know what to say to you the sufferer. A friend got me my rso as lb wasn’t up and running,at the time, but it is my medicine cabinet. One thing I would ask is,has your friend ever consumed cannabis products. If no then it might be unnerving for them as it is powerfull ,depending on the dosage, no doctor will tell you too use rso although I did tell my consultant I was he just smiled and said take it easy,some are ok with it some not. I used my for pain mainly as I was debilitated because of where my cancer was but I’ve got to admit it helped massively , but everyone is different so go carful.👊

The poor girl is in pain and has no appetite I’m hoping this helps.
I have read reports of how it’s cured cancer but I would be happy enough if it gets her out of pain and get her eating.

Hi, I don't know how old this post is, as there is no date. I'm really sorry to hear this. I personally know a few who have been in the worst stages and have been cured. If you take it as a depositry, it bypasses and doesn't affect you the same way. Hope this helps.

Hello. Sorry to hear the bad news. If you want to use rso u will need to consume a full course. Which is 60-grams and and consume the course within 90 days. If u Google rso dosage chart u will see the 90 day chart on how to start the course. Essentially it would be a small drop couple times a day until you move up slowly to consume a full gram per day. I have personal experience. Please use FECO - I found a medical cannabis source here in the UK. I then make up a 1:3 mixture with EVOO and then apply 1ml rectal suppository (up to 4 times a day). It’s not enough by itself. I had to combine with a load of supplements (artemisinin, fenbendazole, mushrooms, antioxidants). Very complex and challenging.
Join FB groups such as Always Hope, Healing Cancer Study Support Group etc. For more advice on a protocol.
5 years on I am still here - no orthodox medical treatment and I was stage 4 with a spread from bowel.

You can literally put it in anything, make some space gravy. I usually find chocolate and moulds are easiest for dosing though

I make cookies. I usually buy a box of cookie mix but just make one at a time from the packet. I add distillate to the mixture. Bake it. Then it bakes me.

I melt bars of chocolate and mix the d9 in and put into molds 👌

I've been putting 2.4g with an Asda cookie packet mix, makes 6 strong cookies. Melt the butter and distillate together in a Bain Marie and then mix with the packet mix. If you've got a low tolerance start with half a cookie.

There’s some really easy beginner gummy recipes on YouTube. Will let you portion it too.

Fudge is also a great option.

the main qualifying reason for medical weed is that you must have tried at least 2 'normal' prescribed medications from your local GP,

if you have that theres a load of clinics in the uk that are really good,

you will also need your summary care records from gp for the weed clinic,

I like to start fairly low (165-170 Celsius) and increase the temperature as I go. I have a Mighty and find it makes the bowl last longer and taste better.

I start at 165, increase to 180, and leave the bowl half finished. I then go back at 180 and increase to 195. Towards the end, I go back down to 165.

I have a Crafty+, so temp regulation isn't the easiest to manage.

I start at 189c then increase temp as the vapor reduces, temp upto 205c at the end. I use a mighty. Hope this helps.

Depends somewhat on the device but 180c is a common default temperature for a fresh bowl.

Anyone with a Venty should try this:
- Switch on and click to boost to 210c and bake the bowl until it auto switches back to 180c and allow to simmer back down (uses the conduction side of the hybrid oven).
- After the buzzer hit the bowl 3 times at low/medium/high airflow respectively (utilising the convection side).

Using the mighty medic I start on 180, every time it buzzes to turn off I crank it up 1 until I hit 190. Don’t usually like the taste after that

Using the Mighty - start temp at 198c, then once the vapour tails off raise it to 201c until its starts to taste like burnt popcorn.
Dont understand the point in lowering the temperature towards the end- you've already vaporised all the lower temp volatiles, so won't be pulling much of anything...

I've tried solids in there too, but found the temps had to bo too high, and it tasted like shit.

Grew up in the 80’s smoking hash…never seen bud. Hot knives was always good…two butter knives heat up tip to metal goes red…place small piece of hash on knife and press other knife on it and place at the end of a bottomless bottle usually glass and toke….
Tumbler….paperback book…pin and a small whisky size glass…put pin through inside page and close… place hash on pin…light up then blow out place glass over pin n book…let it fill up with smoke and lift the glass at one edge and toke..
Or in a joint…
Last one…yogurt…melt butter on a spoon mix in a good joint of hash return to heat mix with butter…let cool slightly then mix in yogurt….never lick the spoon 🤣 burn the mouth of ya

Hot knives are so strong but always make me feel a bit like a crack head lmao

I use a cheese grater, the side with the smallest holes to grate my hash into tiny bits for vaping. It's a bit messy because of the stickiness of the hash making some of it stick to the grater but I just scrape that off with the end of a fork or a small wire brush. To vape it I put a very thin layer of unbleached cotton wool in my dynavap and sprinkle the bits of hash on top. I usually do two to three heat cycles because of it being more dense than flower.

There's a topic under our profile discussing this. Quite a few varied opinions.

As Nickyblaze has pointed out, it can really depend on the type of hash you have.

For your dry herb vape dried hashes work better, though cotton bacon can assist with 'wetter' hashes. Joints are able to accomodate most types one way of another.

For many years and throughout the 80s hash was pretty much the only game in town in the UK. Howard Mark's red and gold seal was the standard. When that went away soap bar entered and runied everything! Now, especially on LB the selection is fantastic and kind of endless.

I cannot seem to get on vaping hash; probably as I don't see much vapour, even at the max temp on the Mighty, that includes when mixed with bud. So my only exception to "no combustion" is a little water bong, £8 odd on Amazon, that works pretty good.

One thing you do notice is the difference on the lungs versus vaping. Whenever I bong hash there is a noticable difference and a lurking cough for a few days after, which probably shows the great benefits of vaping.

Depending on the type of hash I tend to throw mine in the grinder with bud and roll it up in a joint or if I'm feeling lazy I'll throw some in my bong or pipe! Hope this helps

Ive fallen back in love with hash a bit since being on LB, im smoking mine in a bong mostly, I usually stick with Iso/Bubble Hashes as theyre often easier to handle and I top bowls of flower with it or have the occasional Purey.

I can only comment on joints as this is all I smoke.

If the hash is hard but it will not crumble easily then a little bit of flame, less than a second, will allow it to crumble.

If the hash is hard and crumbly then just crumble it into a joint.

If the hash is soft and squidgy then break a joints worth off and roll it into a sausage and roll it into a joint.

Just to add to your question, pick the smallest pieces you can and load them loosley. Depending on the consistency, you can also press a piece flat as possible, to the circumference of about a 5p piece and hit around that. It is quite easy to waste hash, in a way less is more. Cheers.

Hey bro.
A 1ml syringe, depending on tolerance is anywhere from 10-15 servings.
A very small dose is needed, especially the first time, half the size of a grain of rice is a good place to start.
Tolerance will naturally build so doses will need to step up.
Therapeutic doses need to be taken three times a day so you’re probably looking at 2 1ml syringes a week.
Again DYOR and work in your own needs and tolerances but it’s a great product and has a huge array of benefits.

Hi, I agree with everything rocketdogronnie has already said. RSO is notoriously racy and can make you panick if you take too much! I take homemade oils daily for various conditions and do tend to avoid this now because of the above. I generally buy and decab concentrates to mix with oil, they seem less erratic!

Jesus. This has hit me really hard. I’ve been smoking weed for 30 years. 11 weeks ago I had a huge (tennis ball sized) lump pop out of my neck. Dr diagnosed me as having an infection of the parotid gland (saliva gland). Antibiotics for a week, lump hung around for a month.

Had an ultrasound scan 3 weeks ago, turns out it’s a tumour 😞 Stopped smoking that day. 30 years crashed down on me during that one 15 min appointment.

Was immediately put in the NHS suspect cancer 2 week pathway. Had an FNA (biopsy) and an MRI scan 2 weeks ago. Here I am, awaiting the news. Avoided googling the shit outta this, then stumble across this post. Blown me away a bit. I mean, we all know smoking isn’t big or clever, but this has been the biggest wake up call of my life, obviously.

I am part of a very reputable profession, married for 25 years, 4 kids. The works. Here I am, absolutely petrified waiting on a phone call.

They mentioned the possibility of a common type, that would need removing even if benign. I didn’t take in the name tho. Like I touched on, I’m (usually!) a rational person, but I haven’t googled anything about this. My wife has tho, a lot, she works within the NHS and has spoken to people in this field. We have an unspoken understanding atm and not really discussing it at all. Her mum passed away very young with a cancer in her neck, I know she’s in bits about this. This is breaking me inside.

It’s a weird limbo we’re in, just waiting for the test results. Should be this week by the looks. My gp phoned me Thursday just gone and explained who is looking at it and where, and the process of diagnosis.

The thought of facial surgery scares the bejesus outta me, but the thought of it not being malignant makes it more bearable.

So I have smoked weed with tobacco for these 30 years. Smoked cigarettes in the 90s, early 00s, then rolling tobacco. Never a ‘heavy’ fag smoker really, but a heavy joint smoker through (weed and tobacco). Bought a mighty vape last year in an effort to kick my combustion habbit. Used it twice as I really didn’t get in with it. Not smoked anything since my scan that confirmed a tumour, 4 weeks ago. Never found quitting so easy. Currently enjoying the benefits of not having a dependency of any sorts for the first time in my adult life. Felling a better dad and husband for it tbh.

Used a lot of chemicals in those 90s/00s years and have had an ‘unhealthy’ relationship with alcohol since covid, which I have got on top of over the last 9 months.

Just to add to all the brilliant advice here; alcohol has been found to be considerably carciogenic if you can abstain it will massively help. Avoiding anything processed or containg high amounts of sugar will encourage better health and if you subscribe to the school of thought that suggests cancer cells thrive on glucose it may even help with reducing or preventing cancerous growth.

Bud lasts longer, tastes better AND you get avb to use in edibles at the end! I'll still be bongin' and spliffin' it up but it's great to have so many options nowadays

No doubt dry herb vaping is almost certainly way better in terms of health risks than smoking (I also do it as well as edibles). On the other hand, the research on the health risks for dry herb vaping is still extremely limited. Inhaling hot particulates (which still happens with vaping) tends to be no bueno for health.

Very true. We're still kind of in the infancy of cannabis research. We know the long term effects of cigarettes and alcohol but, with the legality of weed over the years, we've still got so many unanswered questions about it. And dry herb vapes really haven't been around that long either. I just hope that we get some conclusive answers in our lifetimes...

I think carts are going to prove a massive roadblock for cannabis development and freedom because of growing health concerns. WithTHCA, D8 & D10 workarounds these are available all across N.America now and the demand is huge with consumers able to puff through 1ml carts or more every single day. Chemical contamination is rife. These things ARE addictive. California is reporting rapidly increasing needs for specialist pulmonary treatments amongst all ages and new clinics are opening rapidly.
Its just the tip of the iceberg...

As much as I want to believe that the convenience and discretion of carts is a positive thing, sadly you're 100% spot on. People doing blinkers and landing themselves in hospital isn't an uncommon occurrence in the US, I think seby G (weedtuber) had an incident like that. People going through a gram of 90%+ THC distillate in a day is just insane on so many levels. And as far as contaminants, I 100% believe there's more contaminated carts in the world than legit ones. By a big margin. From pesticides and vitamin E acetate all the way up to spice-laden disposables now prevalent across the UK. It's really a worrying trend and the demand for carts is going up by the day.....

I also wonder if a large part of the emergence of cannabis hyperemesis syndrome as a thing can be linked to heavy usage of carts and concentrates. I suspect it's usually It's hard to get sufficient THC to cause those symptoms from plain old bud.

I wouldn't be surprised at all tbh, 900mg of pure THC every single day cannot be a good thing. Plus there's no entourage effect with disty carts, which is good for some but I personally think the other terps and cannabinoids are what "makes" a high. Even so, rosin/live resin carts must still have 70%+ THC a lot of the time. Overconsumption is the worst thing anyone can do with weed imo, stay within your limits and enjoy it! Don't just get to an 11/10 high all day every day
