Hi biggaz , just reaching out to see if anyone else has ever experience whatever I am . I have been a heavy smoker for 15+ years, I love the ganja . I've gone from smoking around 3 blunts a day to 1 if I can manage it . All of a sudden I am getting anxiety/panic attacks after a couple of puffs. I'm baffled as to why as it has always been a tool to relax and chill myself out . I'm now at the point where it's putting me off , and I don't want it too . What's people's thoughts ? Is it a sign to quit or take a break . I've cut down to like I said a few puffs here and there and it still hits me like a truck . I would of thought my tolerance levels would increase rather than decrease

Seems similar to my experience the other day , I've never felt so faint . My heart felt like it was going to explode . And the dizziness was unreal . I dont use it for health issue , it was mainly out of habit and to chill me out as I'm a little stressy . But I feel much more chilled now I'm not baked and tripping out lol

This happens to me but only if I smoke Sativas now. Never used to bother me but as ive got older Sativas riddle me with anxiety. Has to be an indica or i suffer baaad!

Ok, I didn't realise it could have that much of an effect . Would you smoke a hybrid or just stick to indicas . I've ordered a vape to see if that makes any difference

If its a really good well balanced hybrid then it's not too bad. You know you've the indica effects to counteract it but I try to stick to more indica leaning strains. Haze strains were an absolute killer for me and where I connected the dots to sativas being my issue. It may be the case for you too. I know a few people who are the same. Any type of racey strain just kicks it off.

Thanks for your input mate , it's much appreciated. Been doing some research and it does seem common from what I've read . I will try an indica and stay away from satvia for now, hopefully I see a difference

No problem, anxiety is a bitch and sativas are not your friend at all if you suffer from it. Indicas should defo be your go to 👌✌️

Because your have been smoking constantly and your body is expecting it to then going to slim to none on a joint of course your body will react. It’s not getting its dose it used to get therefore you will get high as a kite when sobering up or cutting down. It only makes sense.

The thing is, it started whilst I was smoking heavy , I would understand if I had slowed down, but at the time, I was 3 joints deep . Its like my tolerance level dropped half way through a joint . I want to get high as possible just not enjoying the anxiety from it

Sativa or indica you will still get high af with anxiety due to tolerance levels decreasing

Same thing happened to me by the time I got to my late 30s.
I ended up quitting.
It took me nearly 3 months before I could get a full nights sleep but within a couple of weeks my anxiety disappeared.
After a year I started to dabble only on a weekend and I was fine with so long as I didn’t partake more than 2 days in a row- they anxiety would come back.
Now I’ve quit smoking and have a little edible most evenings and I’m fine with it.
I also found alcohol gives me hangxiety which lasts all week so I quit drinking nearly 4 years ago.
Do you drink alcohol?
If you love the ganja but also drink even if it’s weekend I would be tempted to quit the booze first and see how I got on before taking a t break.
I think it’s age related. Many people I know have had similar experiences

Hi mate , thanks for commenting. I'm in my early 30s, so I was thinking maybe I'm getting on a bit . I don't drink alcohol either, so I'm not mixing substances . I'm so used to smoking that it pulls me back in, but at the moment, I think I'm going to pass on it . It just seems strange to me, but I'm glad I'm not the only one that has experienced it

Exodus and Referral Payments

Hey Biggas. I hope someone who knows more about crypto than me can help here. I use Exodus to receive referral payments from Transaxe but it seems like each time I receive a payment it pushes up my network fee.

If I wanted to send $60 worth of BTC Exodus is charging a $33 network fee. I have a friend who has no referral payments going to Exodus and for them to send the same amount at the same time it would cost them 55 cents. Does anybody know why this happens? I did get a few warnings from Exodus about receiving these payments but they weren't very clear about how and why this is a problem so I ignored and deleted.

Finally, can anyone recommend a wallet I can use where this won't be an issue? If this is a problem across all wallets then I'm tempted to deactivate my token as I don't think the rewards are worth the network fee spikes.

Have a similar issue. Got a few hundred. But impossible to move. Even if I try with high fees it fails. Don't even bother with it anymore. I made a post about it before. See if the tips on there help you.

It's not Exodus that is the issue.

They sent you some payments with too low of a fee by mistake, so they are unconfirmed.

The problematic transactions will show as 'pending' on Exodus.

Wallets charge you extra for spending unconfirmed transactions. (CPFP)

Around 2 weeks after you *received* them they will be forgotten by nodes and transaxe will send again with larger fees.

Then you will be able to send with normal fees.

I think what you clicked on and ignored was their alert to tell you it looked like you were receiving small mining payments and they'll cost loads in fees to send...

To send $25 the other night gave me a $24 fee with Exodus! So I checked the current sat/vB requirement and changed it to 13 sat/vB and the fee came down to about $15. Doesn't seem to be any way around this, it's just how it works. I find that a large chunk added to the wallet seems to split the fees a bit as a few small payments get bundled with a bit of the large one. They're still a lot higher than if you weren't paying with tiny payments that presumably use more processing power to get confirmed and hence the fees for the miners are higher to make it more enticing a prospect.

Yes mate, that was the gist of the messages I got from them. Should have paid more attention.

I got my Mrs set up on Exodus not long after I joined here so I am going to leave my wallet for referrals and use hers for LB purchases. The dummy send I did on her account had fees of less than a dollar, I couldn't tell you the last time I saw network fees like that on my account.

I had exactly the same problem, the advice for u.k customers on their website is to transfer any btc asap so that's what i did and they charged me £55 to send £200 of btc on the lowest fee setting of 1 and the transfer took 7 hours, i was lucky to get the coin out considering the harsh crack down by the uk government on anonymous wallets.

Great question, I also have Bitcoin tied up in the Coinbase Wallet and its also trying to charge a crazy network fee to get it out of there, referrals are currently going into the .com account and there's no spike in fees or anything there so no idea why its happening in the wallet and its not giving me the option to adjust fees so its just stuck 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was just reading through it and im hoping this is a similar problem to what im seeing, so in theory in a couple of weeks time those of us having the same problem should be able to send coin again with more normalised fees?

Go into your wallet and click on the transactions individually.

If any one of them says something like 'pending' 'unconfirmed' etc then this is definitely the problem.

The default amount of time is 2 weeks anyway, or if fees drop to the rate transaxe sent with then it will be confirmed sooner but more likely to be the former.

Thanks mate, unfortunately I dont see any that are pending so maybe mine is a different problem.
Have payment going into the .com for now till i figure it out and they arent spiking the fees there as i sent some out earlier so im not sure that is my issue.

Click on the first few transactions they sent and it will say view on block explorer/mempool etc.

Will say unconfirmed and the fee paid there.

.com isn't self-custodial or connected, hence why you have no issue there
